Good day,
I Donald Dlamini [protected]) went to Shoprite Plaza/Centre Alexandra and asked the cashier if it would be possible to scan the vouchers for cash paying customers (one cashier did it for me I cant remember her name and her admin manager gave me cash and advised they not allowed to do that I need to consult them 1st and gave me back the cash of a value of a R1000 which was scanned), and therefore she processed the transaction, when she was about to hand over the cash to me, the manager Mpho Bodibe said to the cashier she must not give it to me as she has to validate the vouchers if they were valid, and took my vouchers and the cash that was processed and gave it back to the cashier to put it back in the cash till.
Then she (Mpho Bodibe) gave me the slip and request me to come back the following day to get the cash if the vouchers were clarified, I had to drive back to the store the following day 09/12/2019 and claim my vouchers or money and I was advised that the cashier's cash float was not over with a R1000 and therefore requested to come back the following day, I also had to drive back to Shoprite Plaza/Centre (its been a week doing the same routine), MB Mashilo (Branch Manager) said they should sort it out and give me back my money or vouchers because the client (me) walked out the store without anything, but Mpho Bodibe said they still investigating about what happened to the money. I then advised her that it has nothing to do with me, all I need is my vouchers or cash, rather my refund because it was already scanned. I went back on Sunday the 8th December 2019 to get the feedback.
Mpho Bodibe called MB Mashilo well known as "Champ" to ask what is the situation, and therefore while waiting for her to be done on the call, she advised that "Champ" said there's nothing they can do because I did not consult with the management beforehand but she was there and did the whole reversal and that makes me fail to understand why is she saying they have got nothing to do with anything, and I should take further legal steps. However, all I am saying is that, I need my money, or my R1000 vouchers back. I should also say that the store is corrupt, because they even showed me the video footage of the cashiers stealing the money when they were cashing up, but that's not my business all I need is my money. Finish and klaar.
