Long queue @ Tsakane Corner
Yesterday, Sunday the 8th of May in the morning around 10:30 ,there was very long queue which could have been avoided. Only three till were functioning the whole shop.It was not first time,every weekend, month end and grant payment dates it's always like this and they act like everything is okay.
Desired outcome: All till should be open to avoid long queues

I am complaining about the bad service I recieved today at katlehong shopright as I was trying to access my nsfas funds but was told that nsfas called the shop and told them not to give us any funds i was assisted by a lady on the 1st till around 18:20 they said they said the store manager mr/mrs Mbuli told them she was not wearing a name tag same as the supervisor lady the casheir was dark with twist wig the supervisor was short,light in complection with short hair

Good day,
My wife and I went to Shoprite in Smith Street Durban, last evening at about 17H55. When we got to the door there was a black lady in front of us, the security officer let her in and slammed the door closed in out face. I have reported this matter to the front manager, but will anything done about this matter been addressed I don't think so. This is why I am bringing this matter to your attention.
I would like to know the outcome of this matter, as I live right next door to the shop and should I get not satisfaction I will go viral with my complaint.

Poor arrogant customer service
This was my worst experience at shoprite midland mall on holders mall
The supervisor name dineo i cant spell her surname was very arrogant and rude with attitude which was negative towards me as a complainant for misplaced stock of deodorant.
I asked for the refund as they placed a sale price on the stock and when i got to the payment counter they said its more than the price i saw,i then asked for a refund they called dineo who came and asked whats the problem with negative attitude and ddnt even bother todo eye contact and she made me wait for almost 1hour saying she cant assist me the manager instead can assist me and she ddnt call the manager.
Shoprite staff are used to treating customers poorly and getting away with it they should be trained or disciplined for poor service.cos people are looking for jobs.

My name is Butholezwe Dube l went for my shopping 2day out of all the customers l was the only stopped n asked to be searched l have never been ill treated like that in my entire life Mr Cele the security officer told l the duty store maneger by the name of Mrs Beauty asked him to search me becoz l was looking like a suspect l did allow Cele to go ahead to search l and good part of it l had my slips proof of purchase Barlfour hyper checkers l will never set my foot on that shop again.

Shoprite store Kwaggafontein Mpumalanga
It was On the 5th of April 2022 at 15:00, my grandmother went to shoprite to receive the grant, because they have been in the store from the morning they were hungry and the network was slow from the store. The lady who works at shoprite told them to go and grab something to eat, and keep the papers so that they will pay, she was with other 2 grannies. The security guard accused them of stealing, the lady who works at shoprite tried to explain the situation from the guard, but he did not want to listen. They were humiliated from the public without given a chance to explain. They spend a night in jail without the proof of stealing. She is depressed, she can't even go outside the house. I wish the store could do something to help her cope with the situation.
They don't change items that are on sale on the till
Shoprite central Kempton Park has no customer service at all products which appear to be on sale at the counter but suddenly when you reach a till point the item is not on mark down, the supervisor will be rude and won't even go and check to verify the prices, Why doesn't Shoprite send their mystery shoppers just like any other retail companies to see how their customers are treated by staff. This is not the first time we complain about the services we get from your staff that means you guys don't care about business.
Desired outcome: I want you guys to appoint at least 2 people to go and be mystery shoppers and shop on items that are on mark down so that you can see that some of your staff is well trained for customer service
I will appreciate it if they can apologize and replace everything that was in my bag.
I forgot my bag at they parcel counter on the 01/03/2022 but because I had the parcel counter number I believed that it was safe, the next day on the 02/03/2022 I went to claim it but they said someone came and gave the description of what was in the bag and claimed to have lost the bag. The person who was handing the bag did not follow proper procedure and now they dragging their feet to solve this. It was a lunch box bag and had my lunch box, my keys, money, 2 lotions, hand Wipes and sanitizer.

Aternoon sir or mam, I am Rejoice Nomsa Khasibe from Fruit and Veg, I have a complain about Management at my shop at Shoprite Pimville Zone:7, Last week on the 15 March 2022, on Tuesday at about 16:30pm, I went to my work place to submit a doctors latter, showing that I was sick, so I got in and I spoke to Mrs Linna, giving her my doctors letter, so as I spoke to her about the letter, she asked me why didn't I report the matter earler, bringing my doctors letter late, I told her that I was sick vey badly, that as I was so sick, I couldnt even walk to work at that time, that I live alone and no one is there to help me, so I forced that day to walk to work (as weak as I was) to inform them as to why I was upsent to work From the 11 March 2022, so as I spoke to her, she unswered me rudely I mean she was shouting at me she told me that its too late for me to submit the letter to management, she said to me I wont be paid, coz they have already captured the hours an so on, but I said to her "but" its a private doctors letter, she said to me "I wont be paid", she said that I must leave the letter to her and go home as the doctor gave me few days to get better, the doctor said am unfit to work from the 10 march and I will be fit to work from 19 march 2022, so unto my suprise today on the 22 march 2022, my salary was R380, so I went to work so fix this matter, to speak to the shopstuard Mr Mahlaka about this issue, coz I was refered by Mrs Zodwa, becouse I inform her about my matter (she said that she is moving to this shop to Dlamini, that it was her last day to work at Pimville) she said that I must go to Mr mahlakala about the matter, that I must tell him that he must call the official and report the matter "she said that I must be paid becouse thats what the contract says", so I went to Mr Mahlakala to solve this matter today, as I went to mr Mahlakala to talk to him about this matter, he phoned called the official, to ask about my doctors letter, that it was submitted by me on tuesday, and that the hours have already been captured, so he asked that am I gonna be paid, the official said yes I am gonna be paid, but not on that week, I am gonna be paid on the following week, becouse they have to capture my letter today on the 22 March 2022, so we went to mrs Linna to asked her about wnen is she gonna capture my doctors letter, she said to mr Mahlakala that I said (must I come to work weak to submit the letter to her) and she said to me there is nothing she can say to me, then she walked away rudely, I am being abused at work, thats why am writting this email becouse am siking help, becouse am not getting it at my work place, please help me, if I wont be paid next week, how am I surpose, to pay my rent next week.

I was at Shoprite today in ClearyPark Mall, Port Elizabeth, We had to stand on the que for about an hour because we we served with only 1 cashier and I don't know what the other one was doing. What made me angry is that when I asked the security guard at the door to call the manager He refused and told me to go to the manager's office if I want to report something because he cannot come out, both securities agreed on same thing a Xhosa lady and a Thin Xhosa guy with glasses. They didn't even try to communicate instead they ignored us and they also said they cannot desert the post and go to the manager's office, I mean they have radios, controllers to assist with the communication. Kindly assist and I would also like to hear the outcomes of this complaint, End of the month we cannot work with one or two cashier's, Thank you.

As I was busy chosing the type of meat I want she shouted that why i don't I say everything at once as she has a job which is packaging vors not to attend to me. That's shocking that's why we opt to go to either Woolworth or pick n pay. How can I choose everything hence there's a window to check n decide on what I want. Food tastes like soap - shoprite windsor glen
We have Noted for the last few months more and more items purchased at Shoprtie Windsor Glen has a distinct taste of Soap - yes it tastes like dishwashing liquid.
We 1st noticed all meats bought from them (2 fridges next to each other) all tasted like soap, so we stopped buying meat there.
Various other products over time has had a soap taste as well, we stopped buying them.
The latest what we have noted is that the Bread purchased there also tastes like Soap - its disgusting...
Desired outcome: Please stop selling people Soap Food - it makes people sick. I buy at other shops now, but the rest of the people who can't afford to go anywhere else is stuck with this soapy mess.

Poor service from cashiers and their bad attitude
I went there today 02/02/22 around 14h30 to do cash back I only needed r290 bt what none of the cashiers helped me they all kept on saying they don't hv change to be specific they said they didn't hv r10's and r20's of which they were lieng I saw lumka and nombuso mathenjwa. Hey did have money on their tills cz I saw those r10's and r20' I dont knw if this is the way shoprite train their team to treat customers nombuso gave me a terrible attitude she even asked the customer to come so that she could help her while I was still standing there infront of her she behaved as if I was asking her to give me money from her account... That money from d tills its not theirs bt they act as if they own it... They shouldn't work with customers their attitude stinks... Mr clean company (trolley company)
i had an accident while i was waiting for my wife at the parking mall, the trolley porter was pushing trolleys and he lost control of them and they
bumped my car and i called the trolley porter he was rude and aggressive
and went through the store to look for the store manager, i explained my issue to him he called Mr noah matjila mr clean manager we waited for him more than an hour he came and listen to my story, and he went to my car and took some pictures and he told me he needs to hear the side of the story from

Globe glasses inside the food
Yesterday 18-01-22 at shoprite alexandra plaza I went there to buy lunch as usual on one of the food there was a soup while we eating and almost done with my lunch partner we found pieces of globe glasses and globe wires inside the food then I returned then I checked and found the globe bust inside the food one the food deli controller agreed she heard something busting but she didn't know what was it. I thought the branch manager will take an action or assist me nothing only send sibusiso to offer me voucher of r150 I refused it because I need to talk to him attention wasn't there they says he's busy cleaning stock room I came secondly still not available. The guy was assisting me told me if im feel im sick he can n call ambulance for me I asked regional manager's number he refused says he's not allowed...

I bought my phone last year at shoprite in pelican park. A month after I bought the phone the internet stopped working and I returned the phone where they explained that they would have a look at it and have it fixed. Its been almost 3 months later and I still don't have a phone! I did not receive a any explanation as to why it took so long in the first place and now I am being told that I cannot get my phone fixed neither can I get my money back!

I would like to complain about a bad service I've received at Shoprite Dawn park when I went to do cash withdrawal I waited almost two hours without any assistance and it was only one cashier working and they were only calling people who wanted to deposit cash I was not happy at all as I end up missing my appointment that I was supposed to attend
Unethical behaviour
On the 25 December 2021 I went to Shoprite at Estcourt since the shop was opened, after selected the items that I needed accidentally one item that I picked didn't have bar code which was discovered by till lady when was paying. She told me that she won't be able to scan the item that doesnt have a bar code so was asked to go and get one with bar code if I need the item. I told her that it is not fair for her to do that since it was not my fault to have unbar corded item on my list. She emphasize and I insisted that I am not leaving without having all picked items with me.
I requested to see the manager to raise my concern, only after that she asked the packer to go get bar coded item from the shelf to scan then she concluded my sale. I waited for long time for the manager before decided to leave. after I left decided to come back and asked her manager's name and also was rude and stated that she can not give me the manager's name. I asked her name which was given to me.
what shows that she was in a very bad mood she did not even give me option to swipe my Xtra serving card even though I had it on my had together with my bank card.
I believe that it is my right to have my complaint attended by the manager on duty and resolve it there without escalating to you. I would like to plead with rural areas managers to take people serious and hear their complaint or concern without judging base on their staff side of a story. My wish is to see every customer being treated fairly and the same.

Expired chicken breast
On the 24th of December my wife bought chicken breast at shoprite Westridge Mitchell's plain and on that day we went away for the festive weekend so I Braai on Christmas morning at goudini spa my wife got sick from the chicken later that evening and I had to rush the Sunday morning to checkers in Worcester for meds for my wife and we had to cut our holiday short due to the expired chicken so please let me know what's going to happen or what so ever because we are not going to leave it like this we spent a lot of money and time for this holiday season for our kids ([protected]@gmail.com)
