Driver blaring music out of his car before 9 am
A driver delivered 9703 150th street NW
Edmonton this morning prior to 9 am. He was absolutely blaring his music which woke me up in the bloody basement it was that loud. If this is any indication as to the sort of drivers you use I will not be using your services.

Delivery Driver
Last year, I had ordered food from skip the dishes and I specifically told the driver to keep his music down because I live in a quiet neighbourhood and my landlords, that lived above me were sleeping. My entrance is in the back for the house so I typically wait at the curb for my food, and this occasion thats exactly what I did.
After the delivery driver barrelled down my street with his subs on almost full blast he pulls over when he sees me. He then makes a phone call, which I thought he might be calling me, because I have in my directions that if I'm not outside, then call me. But he didn't call me. It was 2am and freezing cold temperatures at the time.
He proceeded to speak to someone through his car Bluetooth and I was embarrassed because it was loud enough for my neighbours to hear. After a 2 minute phone call, he hangs up and rolls down his window. He then picks up my order, which wasn't in a thermal bag and lifts it up across the car and to the passengers side door where I was standing closest to.
When I asked him to come out of the car because I was uncomfortable reaching into a strangers vehicle (as I've been a victim of sexual assault in a car. But obviously didn't feel I needed to explain myself) he looked at me with disgust and pulled the bag higher saying: "what are you going to make me get out of my car?! What is wrong with you".
Feeling scared at this point because he was becoming increasingly more aggressive in his tone and demeanour, I reached into his car and grabbed the bag as quickly as I could.
I said: "I'm going to call skip" and he started yelling at me causing a scene in my neighbourhood and cussing me out. He then peels away very loudly as he's screaming at my from his car.
I complained and they just said: "we will follow up with the courier". I followed up and no response. I am so sick of people walking all over me. And I'm not taking it anymore!
This was a more extreme event for them, but I was constantly having issues with drivers from this company. Please do a better job screening your employees!
Desired outcome: An update! A real apology? Some kind of assurance that these drivers are screened better.
Bad company image by delivery staff
HEW! Many Skip The Dishes Drivers are GROSS!... Pigs!
No Professionalism, Disrespectful! I have seen:
- Food bags never closed when shoved in the back seat, multiple times.
- Drivers in their pajamas, appearance disheveled.
- Food bag next to dogs or young kids in the back seat.
- Food bags put in the trunk at -25C (-13F)
Witnessed this behavior (various dates, locations, drivers in Alberta CA) either at my door during a delivery, or while inside restaurants, or outside restaurant parking lots while Skip Drivers pull up, enter, and leave a restaurant. This certainly makes a big impact on future personal choice of food delivery company.
I have never seen this with Uber Eats or DOORDASH... just saying...
Desired outcome: The desired solution: better training, understand what public image means, have a better work ethic and follow policies and procedures of the company they represent.
Nova Scotia
I put in an order yesterday, it didn't come. I contacted them and they said they'd look into it... and then signed out of the chat after telling me to message again in 10-12 minutes. Multiple attempts to send messages have now gone unresponsive and STILL NO FOOD. I can't even find a phone number to complain to a human being. I wanted my food and they decided to ignore me and I will find a way to make them respond, even if I have to go to the authorities to hold them responsible
Desired outcome: I just want the food I ordered YESTERDAY
Driver from skip the dishes
Almost got run over my a skip driver with my kid I front of Red Robin Restaurant in Kelowna. When I told the driver he needs to slow down and allow pedestrians to cross he started yelling and swearing.
After continuing to swear he saw someone he knew in the parking lot and continued to hurl profanities while approaching me.
Made a complaint also to the store manager in Kelowna B.C. - Orchard Plaza.
I noticed the driver also had a new driver tag on his car.
This occurred at about 2:35pm on Saturday January 30th, 2021

Desired outcome: I don’t think he should be a delivery driver but regardless, needs to learn the rules of the road and general respect.
Food not delivered...
Food was ordered and sent to the wrong address (despite me telling them within 5 minutes of ordering). They refused a refund and I never received any food.

Your refusal to allow me too choose 2 of the same types of sauces
on the MacDonald's food section order. i have complained 6 times on the skip the dishes app, You INSIST that we order exactly 2 sauces, yet you REFUSE to allow us 2 chose 2 of the same TYPE of sauces. stop the madness.
for the record we USED to be able to order 2 of the same type of sauces till you folks screwed it up. maybe posting hear you might actually listen.
Example: i want to order, 2 spicy habanero sauces, and you won't give me the option, and yet we could at one time, till you screwed it up.

Bonus offers
Skipthedishes sent me an email with a bonus 7, 000 points if I place an order within 5 days. I did so and met all of the offer's requirements. It is now December 30 and still waiting for the points. I have chatted with customer support 4 times now, each chat ends with a promise of the points in my account within 24 hours. A lie every time. Will have to contact them a 5th time to hear the same empty promise. This is the second time they failed to honour a promotion. The first one was at least honoured after contacting customer service but they made me go through hoops, sending screenshots of the offer as if I was making it up - how do you not know your own promotions?
Desired outcome: I just want the points that were promised to me, nothing more.
Did not provide any service to me and took my money
On November 13 2020 a order was placed as a the button was hit by young child as I was looking at the cost of what a order may be, I called the restaurant within the first 4 minutes and told them what happen. To stop the Order. I then contacted the Skip the dishes seeing as there was no cancel button. I was told flat out, "I will cancel the order but you won't be receiving a refund" I was in shock, I called the bank and told them to stop the payment, but it shown it had gone through and I was told to wait 7 days and then file a return with bank, however I have had receiving radiation therapy for cancer, I am on ODSP and I have young child at home, I have made several attempts throughout my busy life to rectify this problem and I have not gotten anywhere. As I sit here wondering how I am going to feed my child and get through Christmas I think about that $35.62 that skip the dishes took from me and my son. I was charged for a tip and delivery service and food that I never got. The restaurant in the the first place was in water down, the address attached to the order was in Oakville, there is NO WAY that was ever going to be delivered to Oakville, I feel this company is dirty and it is wrong to take money from people like that.
Possible theft
I had Kate deliver Subway to my home [protected] Ave NW Edmonton AB) on Saturday Nov 28/20 at 12:15pm.
She drove a red Fiat, drove on the sidewalk.
She took note of my Christmas decorations (Led Birch Tree).
Then the next morning a female drove up in a black car and ran right up to the very decoration that was spotted the day before. She did this at 8am.
I have video, have gone to the police, it was on the news last night, TikTok, Instagram and many other media outlets. It was either your driver or an acquaintance.
Please help me in trying to find this person. I can send you all the videos I have.
Needless to say, I won't be using Skip the Dish as I don't know who is coming to my home.

Money stolen
I have had money taken from credit card and not refunded like they said. Also I have been waiting for a manager to call me in regards to missing money and food and they say someone will and they don't call.. We had a incident when the driver disappeared with our food. We waited over a hour and half and the female waiting ended up collapsing from diabetic shock. We contacted the company and they still wont help us.
No delivery and no customer service
Yesterday, November 21, I ordered through Skip the Dishes, from Moxie's, order # 222770410. For over half an hour, the notice on the order was "Confirming the order". When I chatted with several customer service staff, they were unhelpful, and one of them ever disconnected twice without answering any questions. That is extraordinarily rude and disrespectful. It took me hours to at least get confirmation that I got my money back. It completely ruined my day, I had to personally drive to pick up food elsewhere, hours later. I will never again use Skip the Dishes and I will make sure to let everyone know through every social media means available what an unprofessional company this is. Fortunately, there are other options out there. Shameful behaviour. It is useless to demand any money from them, but it should be known that this is how this company operates, so customers can find out and go elsewhere for services. They offered $5 coupon, but that would require me to use their services again, which will NEVER happen.
I totally agree with you. I use uber eats now way better. I also refuse to go to any restaurant that uses skip. The worst part is I get the same speech from skip that my money is refunded and its not . Like how can the driver just disappear with food lmfao
Customer service
I was looking at the cost of an order on Skip The DIshes on Friday November 13 2020, my son hit the send button and made the order go through.
I called the restaurant within 4 minutes to stop the order.
1. The order was not going to proper address I had moved two months prior to the incident to Burlington from Oakville.
2. The restaurant was was out out that area to deliver any food to either my old address or my new address.
3. I called immediately to stop the order and no one was out any costs.
HOWEVER, The girl on the skip the dishes end told me was able to cancel my order but I would not be getting a refund. That's their policy?
I ended up having to pay $35.62 for nothing? I am a single mother who is fighting breast cancer. I was to start radiation on Wednesday Nov 18, 2020 at Credit Valley Hospital. But because the bull crap that skip the dishes put me through, my car insurance bounced, costing me another $45.00 and I had zero money for gas to get to my treatment on Wednesday. So I never made it to my first radiation appointment and still have yet to go due to their policy.
It has caused me a great deal of hardship and I am extremely angry.
Getting a refund
Ordered food from a restaurant and it was extremely disgusting and I have now been in contact with 4 or 5 agents from skip the dishes and been told twice that a supervisor will look into issuing my complete refund. Still has not been processed. Deleting my account.
Food delivery
Ordered lunch from KFC Barrie Ontario at 12:10pm. Received a text alert at 12:57pm stating my courier is about to arrive. It is now 2pm and nothing has arrived. Called the store about the status of the delivery and they said they would contact Skip The Dishes to find out what happened. Never heard back from them either.

Order # 206863738 food delivery missing, online support is useless
I ordered restaurant food through Skip the Dishes, got a cell phone message that the order is delivered. I went outside immediately but the order wasn't there. I contacted support team right away saying that my order was delivered to the wrong address. I literally contacted support within 30 sec of the order delivery notification and asked to let the driver know that the food is not at the right address. Most likely he was still in the area and had all the chances to come back, pick the order from where he left it and bring it to the correct address. It would have taken him 5 min to fix the error. We live in Cochrane and it is a small town, there is not a huge effort to come back to fix the error.
According to the support, they contacted the driver and he told them that the order is delivered. So they just ignored my words that the order is missing and didn't do anything to fix the error. The support person casually make the refund and had no intent to fix the issue with the driver.
I was asking to escalate the issue to the manger, but there was nine available.
So, we all were super upset and hungry and both, the driver and support didn't do anything to help us.
My account has been hacked 3 times by someone at skip the dishes september 2020
I have used this service once. My bank account has been hacked three times by skipthedishes for over $400.00. Perhaps you should be more diligent with your security or whomever you have delivering food.
Why does this keep happening? I have had 3 new bank cards this month and now have to go in for another new one! If this happens again, I am going to file a police report against skipthedishes and hoping they can find whomever is taking money out of my account.

Tonight I had made an order for delivery, two mins later I got a message saying something about a pick-up order. I went right to their chat, to speak with someone and have this fixed. But the rep husan in the chat wouldn't help me with anything plus kept ending our chat session so I would have to open up a new window. He said would cancel my order without a refund? Like I contacted support within two mins of placing the order to cancel or have it fixed and changed to delivery, I paid $42 dollars for food I never got. I normally order almost every day from these guys, as I don't have a vehicle. So it's nice to be able to order from my favourite places and have it delivered. This isn't the first time something has happened either. The first time the driver just went MIA and was 45 mins late picking up my meal and it was very cold by the time I got it. The second time I was missing some items from my order, so I called the restaurant to find out what happened, they told me they forgot to put one of the two items missing on the order but they packed the other in the bag and they had video proof as they make videos of every skip the dishes order (really that should speak volumes on its own) so the driver had gone in my bag and took the item out! That was literally last week and now this. I'm definitely not happy. Terrible customer service reps. Hopefully, the manager calls me back within 24-48 hours like I was told. But after reading the complaints here im not going to hold my breath. I've also sent an email to them as well. I will pursue further if I have too. I just want my money back.
