Manager continues to harass my family about not wanting a Speedway rewards. On 12/13/19, when I asked her to stop she got hostile shoved a paper in our face and said it was her job. I clarified "it is your job to harass customers" and she said yes. All other Speedway employees in my area do not haggle, question or harass us for declining a rewards card. I reside close to a Speedway that recently opened within the last year in Volo Illiniois located approximately 1/4 mile north of route 120 on the west side of route 12. As I have been involved in building construction in a professional capacity since I graduated from Purdue in 1973, I am appalled by the fact that I have experienced problems with their gas pumps and air machine on several occasions since this Speedway opened for business. In reality, this has almost become the norm. To make matter worse, the employees who work inside the building always appear to be clueless and very complacent whenever I have tried to alert anyone inside as to problems or issues that should be addressed or corrected for their customers in which event they could care less. Being in a service business for well over 30 years, all I can add is if I ran my business like this, I'd surely be out of business by now working as a greeter at Walmart or an order taker at McDonalds. Enough for the rant which brings me to the reason for my posting this complaint, namely due to my recent and last visit to Speedway in Volo this evening to put gas in my wife's car and air in the tires. Oh well, God knows I should have anticipated that the air machine would take my $1.50 plus in change and fail to work. Fortunately, the gas pump was functional and even gave me a receipt as opposed to my having to go inside and ask the attendant for one. However, when I informed the attendant inside the store that the air machine took my money and failed to come on, I received no apology whatsoever. This is very disturbing given that I didn't ask or expect the young man to refund the money I had lost as I simply wanted to ask him to tag the machine as being out of order so that no one else would lose their money. Fat chance this will happen soon as the attendant seemed unmoved at best. In looking at the reviews posted on this site (406 to be exact) along with a 1 out of 5 star rating, I now understand why. My question is, doesn't anyone at Speedway care or give a FF about this? Apparently not. If this continues. I can guarantee that many who are presently employed by Speedway will soon be looking for a job the day Speeday goes out of business. I, for one, will celebrate their departure!

I visited the speedway @ 149 north high street in Hillsboro Ohio and I am handicapped so I pressed the help button and the kept exiting out of it and never got help so I went to another gas station and lost points. Went back a week later and pressed the help button and a Sheila Thompson came out and not only pumped my gas but also took my speedy card and got me 50 cents off on a gallon. Now that is the kind of people speedways should employ. So I want to give a big thanks to Sheila Thompson for renewing my faith in humanity
I am complaining about manager and assistant manager
Being unfair about hours I am a full time employee with paperwork stating I am full time and I understand hours are being cut but I am working part time hours and I have asked why can't I have my hours back? And I get no response or get any of my questions answered besides hours are being cut but other employees are part time getting full time hours and I don't think that is fair I have been working at this location for over 2 years and the last 2 switches and being a faithful employee through all these changes I feel like the managers don't take in consideration we have bills and responsibilities, other employees do lots of no calls and no shows and their hours don't get cut they still manage to get there full time hours and with no consequences or actions being taken no warnings or any write ups. A lot of employees here have complained about a lot of things to the assistant manager here because manager is always busy, the assistant manager plays a lot of favoritism and is not fair to others here everyone has complained about the assistant manager not doing their job correctly and no actions are being taken about that either.

I just moved over to this side of town, When I come in to get my morning coffee I always see the lady worker mix the coffee together instead of pouring out the coffee and brewing fresh. My coffee is never hot, and never fresh tasting. Please let her know not to mix and brew fresh coffee. I pay for burnt coffee awful tasting coffee every morning. I am wasting my money.
