Insurance Claim
We (unfortunately) had to make a claim after a derecho last August. Initially our person (Juliette) was available and helpful. For some reason we got shifted to Stacey Miller. Stacey refuses to return calls to us or to our contractor. I have a small window to be able to get this work done this year and I shouldn't have to fight to even get a return call. I can't believe that an organization the size of State Farm could be so unprofessional.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a return call.
Auto and home and marketing/sales and surveillance integrations/systems
Systematic price gouging, rating and redlining using credit scores is and use to be illegal and similar to redlining and targeting. It is all justified in the name of data selling/sharing, risk management, data analysis and compliance, security and marketing.
Its surveillance and how other non free countries and businesses work and interact with their government partnerships and make money and target and harass citizens.
Systems and insurance like State Farm are calling this risk management and rating is truly intrusive and does not represent real Americans. The practice should end.
Data sharing and selling and tracking insureds and integrating systems with surveillance capabilities is and should also be illegal. Programs seem to be enabling that industry wide and at State Farm.
They could have differentiated that and not gone to a communistic model of business or selling insurance for financial gain.
Desired outcome: nothing- awareness of Americans and privacy
Agent Corey Wilkins, unethical behavior
Mr. Wilkins violated my privacy by publicly releasing private information obtained from my insurance policy. I am a participant in my state's address confidentiality program which protects victims of stalkers and so his violation resulted in me moving for my own safety. I cannot trust State Farm with my personal information and do not recommend the State Famr agent Corey Wilkins located in Fife, Wa.
Desired outcome: Pay for moving expenses
Our House/Home
The humidifier solenoid which provides water to our humidifier on our furnace got stuck open and created excess humidity in our home and attic which caused water damage throughout our home. State Farm whom I've been with for 40 years came in took pictures and told me we weren't covered. I have been a loyal customer with State Farm for over 40 years
Desired outcome: [protected]
claim 48-16C3-16K02 (Greg Wynkoop) [protected]@aol.com
Another driver hit my vehicle and they had state farm insurance. I filed the claim and took my truck for repairs. My truck is finished at Hagerstown Ford but State Farm is refusing to cover the full cost leaving a balance of $542.26 before I can pick up my truck. They claim unfair rates but their recommendations were higher or could not repair.
Desired outcome: I want state farm to pay the balance of 542.26 to Hagerstown Ford
Customer service
I called my agent to inquire about adding coverage to my rental policy. After making 20 + phone calls I finally got the correct information. Initially someone from my agents office contacted the underwriter and was given incorrect information. I spent three days addressing and requesting another look at this information (which was incorrect and would incorrectly and overcharged me) I spoke with three people from my agents office and six people from the State Farm customer service line. I was hung up on, bullied, threatened, and given incorrect information. State Farm does not have effective systems in place. It is very onerous for customers. I am not a consultant for State Farm, but should be. It was extremely stressful to be abused by State Farn for three days to get them to correct their mistake. The service is egregious
Desired outcome: Please correct these systems so customers can get accurate information in a reasonable time frame. Also, I would like compensation for my time and stress. Without my efforts you would be illegally billing me.
Insurance Claim
I had a basic repair for my car (there was damage to the driver side wheel). The shop I took it to said they could fix it in a day. Two weeks later I still do not have my car. Although I stated when I called to enter the claim the damage was on the driver side and the paperwork I have from the auto shop states the driver side damage was the reason I went to the shop, the claims adjuster told the auto shop to fix the passenger side (this is a used car and the passenger side wheels had scratches so he assumed that was damage for the claim). When I was informed of this I called State Farm and told them the claim was supposed to be for the driver side wheel damage. He said I would have to enter a separate claim in order to fix the driver side which means I would have to pay another deductible. I asked why would I have to pay another deductible if I was not the one who made a mistake? I was told by the Claims Supervisor that is my problem and I would have to take it up with the auto shop. The Claims Supervisor and my Insurance Agent also told me that the auto shop sent in claim for the passenger side wheels and after that was approved, they tried to send in another claim for the driver side wheel damage and that is what started the issue. The representative at the auto shop denies doing this. He sent in 1 claim stating everything that needed to be repaired. The representative at the auto shop called the State Farm Claims Supervisor and at that time the Claims Supervisor denied ever stating that 2 claims were sent and is still requiring another claim to be filed in order for the original repair to take place. So it is 2 weeks later and I still do not have my car and the original reason for the claim has not been fixed because State Farm is insisting that I file an additional claim. I have tried calling the Claims Supervisor back but calls go straight to his voicemail. My State Farm agent is not taking my calls and he referred me the claims phone number via text. I called the President and Owner of State Farm I tried to explain my situation but he did not want to listen to my situation and told me to call my agent and hung up.
Long story short, I took my car in to the auto shop for driver side damage. Due to miscommunication from State Farm, prior minor existing damage to the passenger side was repaired. State Farm now wants me to file an additional claim and pay another deductible in order to get the original repair completed.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate the original repairs be completed on my car and for me to only pay (1) deductible.
Fake checks - scam - Agent Josh Beaman San Antonio
Josh Beaman is a bad State Farm agent and a bad man. He is writing bad checks, gives the company a bad name. Is never open and is dishonest. A liar- tries to talk his way out of horse sales, doesn't keep his financial commitments. Creates problems for horse trainers and owners
Desired outcome: Fire him and call me I can tell you a bunch more [protected]
Agent Jean Verseput
Unfair business practices which has caused me close to $9, 000 in losses. Agent has continued to be dishonest and I have proof that she is dishonest. This has to stop. I was misadvised by her office. Coverage was removed from my vehicles and should not have been. I never signed a form acknowledging her removal of coverage. They are frauds! They also issued me a fraudalent proof of insurance which cause double registration fees on my car.
Desired outcome: I want this agent investigated.
Unethical behaviour
We had severe storm late september I got water in my family room. My carpet and some furniture got wet. I called my agent and asked if I was insured for water damage which she said yes and did she want me to call a platinum restoration co. I said yes she never asked me if I wanted to file a claim. They came out pulled up carpet cut lower drywall removed furniture. I signed all paperwork thinking I was insured I knew water came from groundwater person from platinum told me to tell state farm it was from back up drain. Why would I do that when there's no drain in family room or crawl space. He said it won't make any difference. I showed state farm adjuster where water came in. I found out not covered from groundwater. I was billed $2,650 and have still repair my family room and replace furniture. All my agent had to say was I wasn't covered for ground water. She and platinum both lied on me and I feel like I was set up now I have pay $2,650 and lien on my house I'm on a fixed income and been with state farm over 50 years.

Hurricane Laura Damage to my home and property
I have filed an insurance claim for my home and property, truck and RV.
My truck is at a body shop in Kirbyville, Texas. State Farm approve the estimate that the body shop gave them totaling well over $15, 000, the auto shop told me that their will be more supplemental estimates as work is in progress.
My RV had damages as well, without inspecting my RV and without pictures they closed the claim and said a check in the amount of $940.00 is being sent to me and for me to do all the leg work on getting pictures and estimates of what all needs to be fixed and they would do it as supplemental estimates as well.
Damage to my home they said they were closing the claim and sending me a check for a little over $2000.00. They there is no evidence to prove my home and property were damaged by Hurricane Laura. I have trees that are blown down, some with the tops twisted out of them, some halfway uprooted, for which one fell in my backyard day before yesterday and fell on one of my shops. They flat out said they were not covering trees and there clean up cost because that is considered routine yard maintenance.
I request a structural engineer to inspect our home, because we fill its unsafe to with stand a second storm without these repairs. They denied my request.
Here are my ESTIMATES:
1. New septic system: $8,600.00
2. New shingle roof on my home: $7,209.00
3. New Hardy Board siding and Paint: $24,564.00
4. New Roof coating for my 3 shops: $8,347.00
5. Rplace 27 windows: $16,235.00
6. New water well, tank, motor: $6,800.00
7. Cut damaged trees down and remove all debris: $2,400.00
8. Replacement of all sheetrock:$
9. Repaint interior of my house:$
10. Move C-VAN back to right side of driveway.:$
11. C-Rental during repairs.:$

$67423.00 still getting other bids.
Home / auto policies
Bill Thorp agency of State Farm offered and sold to me a combination Home/Auto policy package. I paid in full at their Grants Pass office and at the time was informed that an inspector would come by and 'take a look at the building from the outside'. I welcomed this and asked to put a note
for the inspector to record the presence of a private fire hydrant, the 'defensible space' as well as inspect the wood stove, if they so desired. The agent then said they might need photos of the stove installation. I
sent them such images the same day. The next day I was informed that State Farm would not insure the house because of the primary heat source since 'information had not been supplied'. It was the agent who failed to ask about this (apparently crucial) detail. I called the office manager and asked if the associate auto policy rate would then be raised. She admitted it would be 'adjusted'. I then instructed her to cancel that as well and to provide me with a full refund. She replied that they would 'request a pro-rated refund'. I told her this was not a request and that I expected all my money back. This morning (8/31) I see that the check is already clearing my bank, but an e-mail from the agent says that while they are capable of taking money, they are unable to give it back and I have to wait on
'corporate' for weeks. I have yet to receive an apology or an admission of fault,
Non-payment of three claims on homeowner's insurance
I live in Henderson, Nevada, in a 55+ community. On July 10, 2018, I had a flood in my house due to a broken connector from the toilet to the wall. I was out of town for a week, and the water filled my house up to 2.5 inches throughout. The temperature in the interior of the house had been set at 80 degrees. The temperature outside was 117 degrees. State Farm, my insurance company for almost 40 years, refused to pay/reimburse me for three items listed below:
1) The connector was bolted onto the toilet with a plastic nut. Even thought no one was at home, the nut broke causing the floor. I had to pay State Farm the deductible (approximately $1, 500.00) because it was determined that the parts had been manufactured in a foreign country. I have the connector and broken plastic nut in my possession. I will attach photos of the connector and broken plastic nut.
2) I was in a hotel for four months while the contractors put my house back together. The contractors and all of their workers had access to my house keys. When I moved back into the house the first thing I did was to have the locks changed on the three exterior doors. This cost was $148.44 from Liberty Lock & Security. State Farm refused to reimbursement me. Currently, additional coverages include the "replacement of locks on exterior doors to the dewelling up to $1, 000.00." I would like to be reimbursed for the changing of the locks. I can email you a copy of the invoice from Liberty Lock.
3) A week after I moved back into the house I noticed that the seals in most of the windows had broken. I have 17 windows and 12 of these had seals that broke within a week. I have consulted with several professional window replacement companies and have been told that the water standing in my house could have caused the 12 window seals to break due to the temperature in the house versus the outdoor temperature. I have been informed that since the windows use drying agents, the excessive amount of water, moisture and humidity appear to cause the failed seals. I have received several bids to replace the damaged windows/seals. The lowest bid is $9, 674.73, and the highest is $21, 000. I would accept the lowest bid and can email you the invoice.
Thank your time and attention. Elizabeth Thornton [protected]@cox.net [protected]
General insurance
Long term customers one to few claims denied insurance or justifiable coverage.
Throughout the insurance industry, customers pay premiums for years without incident. When the insurance company has to honor their contact and pay a claim; premiums and/or deductibles increase, or customers are cancelled.
Insurance Companies complain of rising costs due to the number of claims, legal fees, etc., however, employees are rewarded with bonuses on top of salaries for poor customer service. The team concept in handling claims does not work because one person doesn't know what the other did, or why they did it. The team has high achievers and slackers - errors are made, work is completed incorrectly or not done. The customer pays.
Retiree benefits are removed - yet again, employee bonuses are consistent.
Pocket estimator
Chuck jenkins 52-B959-5T102 i want an onsite estimator, pocket estimator is bogus. I got 3 estimates from body shops and your estimate is completely not right. And yes it is external damage. I am complaining about my agency not being reliable

You don't mess with my discount commercials
Look, I'm a woman. I don't consider myself to be overly feminist but your commercials should be on the syllabus in a college feminist issues class. Take the two commercials your company shows ad nauseum on pretty much every channel throughout the day. In the one that features the woman, she is portrayed as overwrought, obnoxious, shrill, and just plain nasty to those around her. In the one with the man, the guy is being challenged to a race and is portrayed as a big easygoing lovable doofus. I'm not one who usually notices these things but it smacks you in the face if you have half a brain. I would Stop portraying women this way. It's very negative and not likely to gain you new female customers in my opinion.
Billing
I added our 2011 Toyota Camry in April 2019, since then our bill has not been correct. I have had State Farm for over 25 years and the majority of time it's been on auto draft to take what was owed/billed. For 6 months I have asked on three different occasions about our bill and told not only by the agent but by the app that "x" amount was correct and then a refund, to then be told we haven't paid a dime towards the vehicle. This is the third time Matt Lowe has messed up our insurance, which will be the last time. I do not feel that their mistake/error is our fault or now our problem. Please guide me on how this needs to be addressed. My name is April Tilley and I can be reached at [protected]. The agent has messed up my daughters claim as well and stated they understand that if we need to change companies as they don't understand why we were billed what we were billed. I would think State Farm would want us as customers as I have been with them for most of my adult life. Thank you for reviewing and I will be happy to forward to you the email from my agent admitting State Farm's error. I am hopeful someone will contact me.
Commercial are retarded
Your commercials are retarded, especially the one with the pregnant woman yelling at the man driving her to the hospital. My god, I've never met a [censored] so annoying as much as her. Doesn't make sense for one and it's just a damn discount. Your man is trying to get you where you need to be and what if the baby was in trouble and your worried about a discount? You don't have to drive fast or slow to save your discount. Driving slow will get you killed and driving fast will get you killed if anything you're putting the mother and baby in danger. Other ways to make commercials and FYI pregnant women don't yell at their man like that going into labor.
