Complete signal loss in my home since migration with Verizon. No help or resolution from customer support after two weeks of calling everyday.
A few weeks ago mine and my husband's phone plus our hot spot lost complete signal in our home. It happened to all of our devices at the same time like a light switch and we have been unable to restore it after many failed attempts and many hours on the phone everyday for two weeks with straight talks customer support. I have even spoke to cooperate level technicians over and over and i have been promised that the issue can and will be resolved but i am still without signal after all this time and money that i am out. I have been a loyal customer for years and I cannot believe the way I have been treated these past few weeks. Every time one of your techs say they will call me back and schedule a call back time I never receive a call back. When I ask for a refund for the past month of service and for the brand new phone that was just purchased along with my husbands phone and the new hotspot purchased I have been informed that I did not qualify for a refund of any sort. So, how is it that I have been with the same company for 15 years plus and then that company up and decides to swap over to Verizon towers of which have never gotten signal in my home and now I am just out all the money I have spent on devices and service plans and left without a phone or money to purchase another one? I keep getting hung up on and lied to and this is acceptable? Please help me! I need a phone in my home! What do I do?
Desired outcome: I would like a refund on my devices that no longer work and my last months service cards that i have not been able to use in my home. Unless there is a way to restore signal in my home some other way.

Data service and customer care
On or about the end of March first of April 2020 my service of 10 + years with straight talk went from great to terrible when I reupped my data worked when it wanted went back and forth with csrs each one having me do something or the y found the problem and it would be done sometime it was as quick as 10 minutes others it was close to an hour or more nothing changed called one day and was told Sim card didn't match the phone same phone and card were purchased together got a new Sim card and you got to but a complete activation kit to get one done that still no fix went back and forth for a few months one day I called I was told I had to get new phone so I went to Walmart and spent close to 400.00 on new phone one of the newest out worked with csr and set it up still didn't fix the problem so the csr worked trying to figure out what was wrong well this time they determined that the service provider access point had problems for the next few months I began to believe that they either didn't have a clue or they changed something about my account well I had enough an was going to try another carrier well since I had just bought the new phone it would work with another company until it was unlocked called to get it unlocked well that was when I was informed that 400.00 phone I paid cash for would have to be in service for a year or pay more than I gave for the phone to get it unlocked even though I was toldvto buy a new phone that didn't fix the problem and paid cash for the phone it didn't belong to me to do as I please I got aggravated and didn't call as much well my year was up a couple weeks ago and called in to get it unlocked went through the process phone said unlocked its not for maybe the second time in 10 + years I had to buy a 35.00 dollar plan and 4 g went quick supposed to be 2 g nothing worked but notifications talk and text so I called talked to a young lady 1 the 2 g service wasn't working and also to talk about getting someone to bump my data back to 4 g for ten days and that the phone didn't unlock she worked with it and told me when she was done that I had to turn my phone off and leave it off for 15 minutes and then call back meanwhile she would se what she could do about my 4g I failed to realize 15 minutes was 5 minutes after closing

About A Replacement Phone
I bought a ne phone from Walmart on 09/21/2022 and had to send it back to Straight talk on 11/28/2022 cause it was not working right. I have a copy of the Drop-off Package Receipt from UPS and aalso the Proff of Delivery to the Warehouse in La Vergne TN. I have been trying to get my replacement phone now for over a month. Straight talk customer service like alot I have called numerous times to try to get my replacement phone and they act like I'm stupid or don't know what I'm talking about they claim the have not received the phone yet . I have told them I all the papers to show that they have the phone and even try to e-mail them the proof but it's like talk to the wall to try and make them understand .

Unable to access/use data/internet unless I go stand outside
Since day 1 have had nothing but unreliable poor service. Unable to access internet through mobile data while sitting in my studio unless I go stand outside or connect to house Wi-Fi or mobile hotspot. Have called customer service numerous times, explained to them that none of my friends or anyone else has problem accessing their data while sitting in my studio just me and that I shouldn't have to go and stand outside in the cold to be able to access my mobile data. Phone constantly searching for service or not registered on a network. So will have to turn phone off&back on then wait. Service is unreliable&undetectable and I feel I'm paying for a service that I'm unable to use 90% of the time&that they aren't providing. Has been on-going issue since day I bought this phone almost 2 years ago.

Home internet
Checked the website to see if it was available in my area. Came back positive. We called the company and they stated that it would be easier and quicker to purchace router at WalMart. Before I went to walmart I checked again to make sure it was available in our area. Actually took a screen shot to be sure.
Went to walmart, purchased router and a $45 card — walmart stated was not returnable — but since I had alread checked the address twice and spoke to a rep I was not concerned. BIG MISTAKE.
Do to work I was unable to hook up immediatly. When I did try to activate, I went to website, put in ID # from the router and now it wanted to check availablity. OK no problem — only this time it came back and said it was not avaialble in my area. and wanted me to fill out an email alert to be notified when it was.?
Called and after slugging through auto system finally got a person who wanted to fix my phone. When I finally made her understand that was not my issue she transferred me to someone else who managed to hang up on me. Ended up getting someone on online chat who then informed me that there are only a "LIMITED AMOUNT" of accounts that can be activated in an area.
So basically if they have 4 available slots — the 3 times I checked all 4 were not filled but when I tried to activate the 4th slot had been taken so now I was out of luck. That's crazy — me and my 4 neighbors could go down, all be told that it is available and yet when we try to activate 1 of us is going to be screwed. yes — that is correct. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Walmart won't refund and Straight Talk wont refund because they didn't sell the unit (at their recommendation)
Inconvenience? That's a scam. They have no disclaimer anywhere on their website that states this. They are not soley selling the routers themselves so they can keep track. Walmart doesn't ask for information of current account or address so they can keep track. From what I can tell NOBODY is tracking it so it is a total crapshoot.
Desired outcome: Something on website that states limited availablity. Company only sells units so #/area can be tracked.

speaking to Mark, employee id 512679 at straight talk, as I have been on the phone with this individual well over 45 minutes this morning to get a voicemail retrieved I accidentally deleted, and the person had me go through 4 times and still could not help me, I had over 30 voicemails and had me waiting with silence without speaking. Wouldnt help, had to say I was reporting the individual, for the person to try to help. It didnt know what to do, total waste of my morning, I have to get this vm back! How do I do it Straight Talk...I asked for supervisor, the person could not do this? What? Uncapable of doing anything. Home phone, new moxie base has been nothing but problems.
Home phone service only works a few days at a time. Have to recon tact straight talk to reprogram. Representatives are unhelpful and keep sending customers around in a circle before getting to the right person. My wife and I have medical issues and also have oxygen in our home. We need dependable service in case we need to call 911. Had to get reprogram today and things are working at this time but it won't last I'm sure. Manufacturers warranty and the inability of straight talk to give response and cutting the service on my phone
I purchased a phone from straight talk within the first 8 months of owning the device malfunctioned. I contacted straight talk and they told me I was within the warranty. They sent me a pre printed shipping label. I sent the phone to them over 2 months ago and have not herd a response. I then called straight talk and was told I would receive a tracking number within 2 business days. I waited a week then called back on Friday December 9th. I was transfered to a corporate trac phone wireless manager where I was told again I would receive a replacement phone. The manager was looking for an "upgraded version in the warehouse". I was on hold for 45 mins when I asked what was taking so long and now my service offers my current phone (that has the same number and is on all 20 of my ticket) has been shut down. What rite do they have to drop my service because there product malfunctions in the warranty time.
Desired outcome: I want my upgraded refund like promised and a year of free service for the manager over stepping his power

I was trying to port a number to my Straight Talk phone. Not only did I not get the number I was trying to port, but they cancelled my other number so I have nothing on this phone and its locked with Straight Talk only. I have spent hours on the phone today only to get hung up on or told I didn't have the right numbers. Lousy customer service. I am going to junk this phone. I will never return to Straight Talk. I am going to complain everywhere I go about Straight Talk and let everyone know Verizon has a much better deal. Do the employees not think they will eventually lose their jobs when people get tired of their lousy customer service as we are going to a better service?

Phones still locked
StraightTalk Wireless holds your phone hostage by keeping it locked for an unforeseeable amount time. I was using ST (for over 10 years) but have moved to an area where they do not have coverage. I contacted to get my personally owned and fully paid for hardware unlocked. Even to talk to someone about unlocking the phones was nothing short of difficult. They said that it would take 20 minutes for the unlock to go through. That did not happen. Upon calling several times the time increased to 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours to “we do not not know how long it will take”. The disappointment comes in from the lies snd made up information from the call center located in the Philippines. They have an air as they know that they can tell you whatever they want as they hide behind their computer screen. ST is not alone in this way of treating the customer. This is our new world. Remember their job is not in jeopardy whether you are helped or not. The unlocking of a phone is not priority and you will be punished for leaving their carrier service. I will wait a week then throw away the two iPhones. My understanding is if the phones are purchased at an Apple store then no carrier can lock them. This in itself is an Apple scam and should be ashamed and they should take responsibility for making hardware owned by the customer not lockable. I think there is a Federal law in place about “obstruction of telephone” and this sure seems like a field day for a good attorney. I will never us FakeTalk again I would go without any phone first. As am actually starting to like getting no calls.

Fraud sim and no service
Since November 19 no service. Phone sim was shut off by ST. 4 days before plan expired and plan was renewed and SIM card changed as per request by ST. As of today still no service. Got a customer service e mail I can not respond to and their 800 numbers are a waste of time. Spoke to 20 people in one day! It’s not poor customer service it’s NO Customer Service. I asked for a refund. Still no acknowledgement! They want to resolve it but no one has yet to contact me in person. They just keep giving me their 800 numbers that do nothing. This is stealing!

New moxy modem for home phone
I went and bought the new moxy modem for the straight talk home phone service brought home hooked it then called straight talk to get it activated well my mom couldn’t call out so we called and they couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working then the battery went dead and all the light went out I wasn’t getting anything so I took it back and I wasn’t buying another one only because some other customers was returning there modems as well so I suggest someone do something right and make this new modem work right before stocking them at any store it’s just not fair to take away someone’s home service when they need it

My SIM card was shut off 4 days before it’s end date. I was told I needed a Verizon SIM card byop so I bought one and it wouldn’t work. Then I was told to buy a ST package with the Verizon logo on it( doesn’t exist) I bought it and inside was a Verizon compatable sim. I installed it and it said sim can not be activated. I went to wifi and registers due to Walmart not being able to access internet and spoke to your representative to be sure it was registered. I went through the set up process. Still saying that the sim could not be activated. After over 20 calls in 3 days it was recommended I add a plan so as to keep everything activated. Still no connection. I’ve spoken to 4 managers and the last said they had put in a request for the Verizon tower to accept my IMEI number and there would be a 24 hr turnover. I asked for a call back. They still had no response. Today I called 2x first disconnected from transfer from higher up and second said my number was no longer in the system and she wouldn’t transfer me. (Shandy). My husband is 74 and been without a phone for 5 days. Unacceptable! I need a response from you or a full refund and I will go to another company. [protected] is my number. Ordered 2 iphones both out of stock they will not refund me
I have ordered 2 iphones from straight talk, both phones did not come on the day they were supposed to, customer service was of no help. Customer service/false information
My Phone was stolen on October 31st at the local grocery store. I tried for 3 days to see if someone would turn it in. When they didn't I called and had the phone locked. I told the rep that my service had just been automatically renewed so he assured me that it would be held and not used until I got a new phone and turned on a new phone. I found an old phone and called back to activate it to be told that I needed a new SIM card, so ok I would get one. Again this rep assured me that I would not need a new refill card and that it was to start once I got the new phone going. I called the next day to speak with someone who told me that my account was still pending; which I knew from the day before wasn't true. I was just told to get a new SIM card. So I asked to be transferred to a supervisor, which she did and she said she could turn the phone on immediately. When I asked her is she needed the new SIM card number she said I didn't need one but if I had it she would take the info. I had already bought it (which I was told was 98 cents previously but that isn't available at the store so it cost $30+ with a service plan card). Neither here nor there she got the phone up and running and told me that; it being Nov 11th they would start my service then and the end date will be Dec 11th.
Everything was great until today (Nov 18...7 days later) when I went to make a call and my service is shut off. I called customer service and spoke with a man who took my info and said there was nothing he could do. I told him I was not after 7 days spending another $50 for service, especially after I was assured by 2 reps and a supervisor about my service. I even went on my bank account to verify the dates of refill and even if I wasnt given the grace period, I would still have service. I asked to speak with a supervisor more than 4 times and he refused to transfer the phone call. He kept saying that the supervisor agreed with him and he wasn't going to transfer the call. We have 3 lines with this company and have used straight talk for 11+ years. I have never been so frustrated and upset with the service than I was today.

Cell phone replacement
In may of 2022 I had called straight talk wireless and told them my phone was not working properly and if they could give me one that worked. The where all for giving me the run around. After 4 failed attempts to get a shipping label so I could send it to them. I finally spoke to someone who would send me a package so I could send it in for a replacement. Well now it's been almost 6 months and I have called and they give me every excuse from saying that my 4 digit pin is not the one I gave them to the 6 digit number I received from Customer service is not the rite number. They say my phone got lost in the ware house and to call back and when I do I get some excuse to not speak to me. I had just received that phone as a gift after I was In a roll over car accident. They will not give me a replacement phone after taking my old one.

I have had a Straight Talk Home Phone for 4-5 years now which I use in a northern location and also in Florida. This year when I returned to Florida when I tried to use the phone I would get various messages that my number or the number I was calling had restrictions. When I would call Straight Talk on another phone which I did maybe 20 times I would be put through a verification nightmare and after maybe 45 minutes of having me turn on and off my device I would get somebody who would tell me they are checking my device (sometimes this was an automated message) and then turn my device off and on, and then try to make a call which I would do. Sometimes it would happen to work and my signal indicators etc would be normal and I would tell my aqaintances that I was back on the air only to be dead the next day.
This happened day after day. Sometimes the said they would call back and if they DID in fact call back no correlation followed. I would have explain everything to a new person who could never understand me, such as I would have to holler the number I was calling about as many as 20 times. I got so furious that my blood pressure went up to 155/90 because each of these episodes would take HOURS and every 15 minutes it would start over with a new person. It was always something to do with my phone service being disabled which is something THEY were doing. Whenever I asked about my service status or about what they were doing while I waited on line the person would remain mute as though in some kind of secrecy.
Strangely, when the phone DOES work it works well and has a strong signal, but it only stays working for a 1/2 day or a day. Today I had to cancel a doctors appointment due to resulting failed communications and my friends have pretty much quit trying to call me. Tonight I tried to find a way to cancel my service and found none on their site. I hate to cut off my credit card but I guess that's the way I will need to proceed to stop this nonsense. It's been going on for over a month. My life is crumbling because of crappy to nonexistent phone service and Straight Talk takes no responsibility.
Desired outcome: I would say "fix my problem and make it like it used to be"; and then fix their customer service algorithms. I think their algorithms are designed to maximizing customer frustration.
