Internet/tv service
I have been a Suddenlink customer since I moved into this apartment 7 months ago. I called to disconnect my service today and was met with the worst Account Manager I have ever spoken to. I understand you are interested in keeping your customers but I know I said at least 10 times I was not happy with the service and there was nothing that could be done to keep me as a customer. I was a very loyal and satisfied AT&T customer and when we moved to the Leander area AT&T was not available, the only provider was Suddenlink so I signed up. I work from home from time to time and had to have internet service. I have learned that AT&T will be coming to the area so I am going to jump ship. The Account Manager had the nerve to ask me what I was going to do for internet service. I promptly told her that was none of her business. Again, this young lady was very persistent. I am returning the equipment tomorrow and I want to be sure my service is disconnected. The very persistent manager informed me I could not disconnect my service until September 10th and I sure hope that is right. This has been a terrible experience and I hope and pray I never have to use your services again - EVER.

Poor customer service and do not complete jobs
On May 24 2021 Reported an issue with my fiber optic internet due to the line being cut, on June 19 they finally came to run a temp wire from the road to our home for our internet to finally be connected again. Today 9/3 this temp wire is still ran thru my yard! I have called weekly about this speaking with several supervisors that assure me they have placed the correct work order and escalated it properly and yet here we are still not buried! Nobody with this company takes responsibility for the lack of professionalism, customer service or completely jobs they start! You wait on hold FOREVER to get another call full of I am

Technicians working on lines and cut lines
On 08/31/21 there was technicians on our cul-de-sac upgrading equipment to three houses. At 12:47 one of them cut the lines, Our entire cul-de-sac is with out internet, WI-FI and Tv. When a technician came last night all he could tell us is that we needed a maintence person to fix the problem. I am astounded that when the line was cut a technician did not report the issue and a maintenance worker was not ordered. Some of us work from home and rely on our internet service. Everyone has called to complain and get a resolution today we were told probably not going to happen until 09/11/21. What? It was your technician that caused the problem. We expect this to be fixed NOW.
We are all at Highview Circle in Royse City Texas. My neighbor does have photos and sent photos regarding this issue.

I have had intermittent service for months now and a point had a tech come install another modem (I doubt it was new) but still had the same problem. Finally it was off more than on. Today, 8/29/21 there was supposed to be a technician here between 8 & 12. No show. I called. Then from 12-2 No show; I called. They said 2-5; no show. I called . They said 5-8. I called and asked if anyone was really coming. The person on the phone said I should disconnect my modem. I went upstairs to do so (with a broken kneecap recently repaired) and by the time I got up there, he said, no, he checked from his end and my internet was just fine and I did not, in fact, need a technician. In other words, I was a liar and wasting his time. I hung up on him. I want either service or a refund for the last month of lackluster service and customer service. There is no excuse for the poor quality of either and from what I'm able to find out locally, everyone is sick of this company and for the same reason.
Desired outcome: An honest effort to get my service repaired once and for all.

Low line over my drive way
To whom it may concern,
I Shanna Bowen have been calling Suddenlink customer service for 2 yrs about a cable line that hangs to low over my driveway. I do not allow my semi trucks to use this driveway because it's too low and hits the top of my trucks.
All my trucks are legal height, none of them are over height. I have called multiple times to explain to Suddenlink the problem every time they send a contract labor out to work on my house. I have explained to multiple people the problem, they just tell me it is not their department. I have asked each one of them to please make a report that someone in the construction dept. or line bury dept. to get a hold of me please. I have done all I can to try to figure out who to contact, with no answers or help. I have called Oncor Electric Multiple times to see if they can help me get in touch with someone, I have had no luck. I am hoping this letter may make it to the correct department and that we can resolve this problem. My driveway is legally permitted and inspected by the State of Texas. The Cable line over my property needs to be buried or raised higher. Please have someone contact me at their earliest convenience to we can discuss this matter. I will be out of town, Thursday Aug 26th and Friday Aug 27th. I will be available Wednesday Aug 25th or Tuesday Aug 31st. You are welcome to email me.

Internet very inconsistent
I have contacted the local office, got a new router from Suddenlink, had a rep come to our home and have had to reboot the router at least every few days. I am paying for 100 speed and average 30 - 40 when it works.
I have been on the phone numerous times and nothing seems to help. The reps have been polite but nothin seems to work.
When they return your call it is screened as as spam and have to start all over again it is very frustrating.
I don't know what else to do.

I have 2 dwelling on 1 lot. I had tv and internet on 1st dwelling the 2nd dwelling there was no service. I wanted to add tv and internet to the 2nd dwelling, cancel the tv only on the 1st dwelling. They said I needed 2 address for 2 different bills I said ok. I didn't agree but that was my only choice. The tech came out and hooked tv and internet on the 2nd dwelling and took the equipment from the 1st dwelling. The said I needed to turn in the equipment that the technician took! They have been charging for tv still on the 1st dwelling which I have no equipment for. And on the 2nd dwelling their charging 110 dollar a month more. for the same service

Internet billing complaint due to price changes and lies!
I called July 24, 2021, and recorded the call where the agent said that the new bill would be $78.50 and now I got a bill of $153.08. I called to make sure that I would not go over the data plan and was told/promised that I would not go over it from July 24, 2021, and on. So, I was lied to by Suddenlink and it was a big waste of time since they are saying that I "did" go over the monthly plan, but was told that I would not due to the new plan of Unlimited Data starting that day.
July I called and in August a bill of $153.08 shows up so what happened with the $78.50 promise? Something is happening and it is very wrong since this is the fourth time that they change the price (back and forth for six months)!
Attached are the new bill of $153.08, the agreed/promised price, and the recording of July 24, 2021, when the new price for the bills was made starts at 5:58!

I have had issues since June. My internet service goes in and out. It stays off for a few hours or for a few days. I have contacted customer service via chat and the customer service number, only to be put on hold for an hour or more. I have stuck with it and gone through ALL the re-booting instructions etc. My internet was off for 5 days! On August 3rd, I finally got an appointment for August 11th. The tech came, messed with stuff in my attic, messed with some splitters on the outside etc ~ he then told me the internet was fixed; to give it 10 minutes to re-boot. He left...my internet DOES NOT work! I expect some assistance with this. I have been a Suddenlink customer for a long time...I am very dissatisfied with the customer service, I pay a lot to go 1/2 the time with no internet. I should not have to go through this mess several times a week. I pay for a service, I expect to be able to use that service!

We have been out of service since Monday. They keep coming out and temporarily fixing my problem. I try calling the outage line and each time have to deal with their twenty minute troubleshooting crap until finally I get connected with someone in India. I am beyond angry! An alt ice representative called today and failed to call me back. I am so tired of Suddenlink! Dish here I come!

I signed up with Suddenlink for WIFI only for 8O a month..I gave them my card for autopay. The next month I went to pay my mortgage but did not have the funds ..Suddenlink took 500 out of my account without telling me a WORD about it..All I watch is NEWS, no movies, no ganes, etc..HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE or even legal .I am on SS so limited income! Had they told me that was my bill I would have told them my house payment is more inportant so N O cut it off! I am fighting with them and Direct Exoress to get my money BACK. BEWARE OF THEM AND NEVER DO AUTOPAY WITH THEM! How is this even LEGAL?

Suddenlink Unethical Behavior
For nearly two months, our Internet has been off more than on. I have spoken, several times with Support, purchased a new Modem and Router, and had a technician visit. Still no reliable Internet. We cancelled our contract, returned the equipment and received a confirmation number and a confirmation email. Now the company says our service has been disconnected due to non-payment without ever sending us the final bill. Our service was terminated a week prior to our bill date so we should be good to go. This company has grown so large that it is out of touch. How sad, as we enjoyed the service for many years.
About my gift card
I started my service with your company in3/07/20 and was told I would receive a gift card of 100 dollars. I have not received the card and now it is August 6, 20221. I have contacted your company numerous times and told different stories each time I have spoken with someone. We have not missed a payment or made any changes from us. I was told one time that sudden link had made a change to them not properly setting up our internet. On April 22, 2021 I was told if I did not have any changes in the next three months I would receive the gift card. On July 27, 2021 I called to check on the progress of receiving the card. I was told that it would not happen. I was told to go to a local store to follow up. In my area, there is not a local store. I asked to speak with a supervisor several times and non were available and they would return a call to me, that did not happen. This is very upsetting to me that your company does not follow thru on the gift cards. As a senior citizen, I fill ignored and not valued.

I have audio and video of the tech support and customer service having a community of customers on the phone at one time tonight and also using foul language to speak to us. This is so unprofessional but also a waste of time of people who need help with fixing our services that we pay for. We've been without services for over a week and it's been an inconvenience to say the least. Not only are we switching services I hope everyone switches and never goes back.

Inability to speak to a representative personally
I went through the automated system to try to resolve the problem of missing and scrambled channels as well as no phone service. After multiple attempts the problem could not be corrected through automated instructions and responses. I was finally connected to a live representative but, unfortunately, there were at least three or four other dissatisfied customers on the same call, at the same time. The call was eventually disconnected and I tried multiple times to contact again, but had to go through the whole automated corrective steps again only to get a busy signal at the end of the call. I contacted suddenlink via the website and started receiving mostly automated text messages. Finally, what I believe to be a real person texting contacted me but I did not want to go through the texting again and wanted to speak to someone personally. I was told to call the customer care phone number (which I had done already numerous times). I am very disappointed with all aspects of my service including cable, internet (very slow), and phone.
Desired outcome: Speak to a live person on the phone and have the services I am paying for in good working condition.
I have had Suddenlink for 3 years know I had internet and cable but I cut down to just internet and I paid my bill and I just got billed $137 and I have been talking to them about it and they don't know why it is there just that does Suddenlink do this a lot because I think AT&T might be better
Gift card
When setting up my account I did it online and took a picture of the promise of a 200 dollar gift card. I recieved a call right away and was told I would get a gift card in 3 months as long as I stayed in good standing. After 2 months I asked if increasing would change my gift card and I was assured an increase wouldnt. I have called several times. Everyone has told me it was coming and they would even call with an update. Today after 5 monthsI was told because I increased my service I wouldnt be getting it. I will be letting Better business bureau and FB know of the unethical practices of suddenlink.
Desired outcome: Give me the gift card as promised or credit it to my account.

We are paying for 1 gig service that they promoted fastest most reliable service internet in region..it has been crashing every day from around 730 am till 4pm or later .my girlfriend works from home on the internet..Monday through Friday..she is about to lose her job because of the internet crashing... every time I call support only received outage message on phone no help or anything else..and tonne it's false advertising and extremely bad company service and extremely poor professionalism for a major company
