Watch was bough Nov 2016 for my daughter.
On 19 Apr 2018, the minute needle fell off (ref pic attached)
We called the retailer at malaysia but no was told that this is not covered!
Greatly disapointed with Swatch for lack of quality and apparent accountability.

This is Arzu from Turkey. I bought a watch who is called SVUB102 From Dubai International Airport freeshop on 18 Jan 2018.
When I used this watch maximum a few days later in, it is happening allergent on my wrist. I tried to use it a few times when my wrist happen well, but unfortunately everytime same result.
Now my wrist still same and I can send to you a picture as you wish. I cannot change it because of I bought it from Dubai and I'm working in Algeria and going to Dubai again is impossible. I will be in Turkey until to 29 Apr.
How can you help to me. Swatch is a company full of confidence and I'm sure that you will find a solution for solving my problem.

Watch stops working after taking a shower. It fails the waterproof test. Store refuses to replace it. Swatch store manager just put new battery and keep watch a couple of days and then refuses to replace it because it works, but stores never try the watch in water that is my claim about.
I have asked the store about my watch guarantee 3 times, but the store always do the same (battery replacement). The last time on April 17, 2018, the manager kept the watch and asked my wife to return next day with the original watch box in order to replace the watch. I went to the store today (April 18, 2018) with everything they requested, but theyy refused to take the watch back. I think they are making time expecting the guarantee expires on May 13, 2018.

I have been trying to reach the customer support at New Delhi India and have not been getting any response. Even on a personal visit the support team was not interested to help. please see complaint on purchase of your product as follow:
1.13.08.2016 I bought 2 hand watch (as a present to my kids)
2. Flik flak - code product ZFEN000
3. After 4 month, both wrist watch were damaged as follow. On one hand watch, plastic part on bracelet (small chain) was broken. On other hand watch bracelet leather was damaged.
4. From January 2017 until today I have tried to fix the hand watch and in final I have tried to finish it yesterday.
The issue is, which is not correct that I have to pay replacement of damaged bracelets although I have valid guarantee, Bracelets are not damaged by handling, but the bad quality.
Also warranty period in Bosnia is 12 month and in general on your web page is 24month. What is correct at the end.
I believe that respectful company as yours must handle this on most satisfied way for their customers.
Also, price for both hand watch was quite high for standards in Bosnia and if I have to pay additional money fixing something which is not our mistake this is unacceptable.
Authorized store in Sarajevo is located at street Ferhadija 2.

I purchase a Hand watch from Swatch in Alkhobar City in KSA (Amowag Mall ) on 13 May 2017 after 2 months my watch was stop and I return back to warranty and I recieved, again problem happened and the tecnical People in Warranty told me that my watch has an industrial problem and I can choose another watch but my model is finshed, they put me in a very limeted model and refuse to give me any choose, I return back to the manager in Khobar Mr.Yousef and he told me if you need to choose another model I will accept but at this time I will dedact the price of watch band of your watch and also you will pay again the price of watch band for the new watch that you will choose in addation to the price difference between my old watch and new one, when I told him this's not fair I will pay only the price difference and he say this's our company policy

watch paint starts to get removed
My new swatch watch didn't pass few months and the blue paints starts to get removed.
I passed by mall of emirates store which i got the watch from and they told me it is normal and not covered by warranty.
This made my new watch looks old and out of quality
I need your support as a main watches provider in solving this problem

I purchased a Swatch watch for my daughter from England Westfield Mall in June 2017 and after two months (my daughter went back home)the watchband cut suddenly (picture attached). I contacted the watch seller in Westfield mall to fix the watch but they told me that they must see the watch and that they don't have the specific model of the watch and they needed two to three weeks to order it from the company and that I can use my international guarantee in my home country Lebanon. I contacted the Swatch agent in Lebanon and gave them my international guarantee number SV129B but they just told me that they will respond to me and after one month there is still no answer and nobody ever wondered if the defect was a company defect because after just two months the watchband cut off suddenly with no external pressure what so ever. Please inform me what to do especially that my daughter is not able to wear her watch because there is no similar watchband even if I wanted to pay for it.

I am extremely disappointed with my long awaited swatch watch as it appears broken as I and others are unable to set the date.
I was also caught unaware when purchasing the watch in noisy busy Heathrow as to how loud the watch is. I find it annoying and off putting when in client meetings so hence I am unable to wear the watch.
To fix the date, I have googled every instruction but the rotation on the side does not pull out twice, it only pulls out once to set the time. I refuse to pay someone to look at this watch as I am so unhappy with it.
I would like to send it back to the manufacturer.

Hi... on April I bought 1 watch from ur shop
in tripoli, after 2 months all of sudden stopped working, I took it the shop for repairing since it’s under warranty, after few days they called me back to collect it, one week later stopped working again, took it again to the shop and I waited 3 weeks no call so I passed by them to check they told me that they will replace it and they will call me once it’s received by them.. two weeks later they called me and when I went there they show me another one, however I liked the watch but wanted to change the metal to another one.. three weeks has been passed and no call so far. This service is not acceptable.

Dear Sir, we visited the shop on 11 January this year in 40, Rue de Marche, Geneve. I bought a Swatch watch for my husband as a present. We however live in South Africa. Unfortunately we found that the watch was cracked at the back and was taking water in. We took it to a Swatch repair shop here in Pretoria, South Africa.
I have to say, I am extremely disappointed at the service and attitudes we received at Swatch! I bought my husband a Swatch as I thought it was very good quality and would last him for years. But the back of the watch cracked without him taking it off and hitting it on something. When we took it to the shop, they took it in, after a month they returned it to us saying that they were out of stock and couldn't repair it. Seriously!
What kind of service is this? I expected much better from Swatch!
What am I supposed to do with his present that he could only use for a few months? They didn't even want to repair it on warranty as they said that we broke it, but we didn't.
This is not an acceptable situation! We paid a lot of money for this watch, it was always his dream to have a Swatch and now all of this happened.
Please let me know what you are going to do about this situation.

I have always been a huge Swatch fan, having about 6 swatch watches. I have a problem ...the 1st week of Sep i contacted swatch in miami and spoke to Brittney Moore . My orange slice watch had the plastic near the strap(buckle) crack and was unusable. Brittney asked for all info including photos etc...then she would send a new buckle. After about 4 days later, no word from her i called her and she advised me a new buckle is being sent USPS.
Today is the 25th Sep..no buckle...i called Brittney and got every excuse under the sun...She started by saying most of the swatch mail gets returned to them because they do not put enough postage(meaning mine included) i asked her to check and she said she cant. I asked why i wasnt informed "if" it was returned to them ..she said it was in mailroom...the whole conversation was a lie...anyhow, she told me got o the mall and use her name..tell them she sent me...they will give me free buckle..what kind of corporation is this? Terrible! I will never buy swatch again..i rather go G Shock..much better service...

back of watch has melted
My wife and I each bought a swatch watch at Edinburgh airport on 9th September 2016. This is my second swatch and the first watch is still in good condition. Whilst my wife has had no problems with her watch, the wrist band on my watch broke within several months and in addition the watch appears to have practically melted on the back. I took it into the Swatch retail outlet in Edinburgh and paid to have a new wrist band fitted. The staff said that I would have to take it back to the store in Edinburgh airport to report the issue of melting on the back. We therefore waited until our next trip
from Edinburgh on 4th September 2017. We were told by staff there that we had to take the watch into the retail outlet in Edinburgh. So, very disappointing to be given conflicting information. I am therefore writing to you in the hope that you can resolve this issue.

swatch band broke on first wear - cheap quality and swatch didn't care
I bought my wife a Swatch Blue Quartz GM415 Watch as a gift. Once I gave it to her a few weeks after I purchased it, the strap broke on the first time my wife wore her watch. I took the watch to a store in the US and was told the Swatch warranty does not cover straps. He said I would need to buy a new one! The sales person even had the exact same watch in the store and I asked for an even swap, but he said it was not allowed according to policy and I would have to submit a grievance online. Zero customer service, no quality to the watches, I will never buy a Swatch again and suggest you do not either.
The clasp on the stainless steel mesh band of my new Swatch watch broke after a few weeks of wear. It doesn't stay closed and the watch falls off. Is this the same type of band you bought? Amazingly, when I called the Swatch store and Swatch headquarters, they say that the "band is not included in the watch's 2 year warranty." Does that make any sense to you? It's like telling the customer when the sole comes of his new shoes, "sorry, but the soles are not included in the warranty. Only the upper part is included."

This letter is to bring you to notice about a complaint I have about two watches I bought from your brand ..one was bought from lulu mall kochi on 1/03/2014 & 2nd one I bought from Bangalore in the year 2013 .Both the watches worked well for two years full on .Then it stopped working coz' the battery stopped working.
That's when I took the watches to swatch watches showroom in lulu mall .And they refused to do the needful by saying that both watches are use and throw watches which they did not mention at the time buying .Both watches costs above 7000/- each ..
I expect a solution & a positive result for the complaint I have about the two watches, by replacing the battery or replacing with new watches .

I have a Swatch watch, it was bought in Taiwan in 2008, it was a gift and has special meaning to me.
The watch stopped working in early 2016, so I replaced its battery in early 2016 in a Swatch store, in Taichung, Taiwan(address:No. 139, Section 3, Sanmin Road, North District, Taichung City ). Then it worked.
But in October 2016, the watch stopped working again. The battery I replaced in early 2016 worked only 6~7 months. This time I went to another Swatch Store, also in Taichung, Taiwan (address:No. 301, Section 3, Taiwan Blvd, Xitun District, Taichung City, 407). This store told me the store I went to last time (the one on Sanmin Road) was only a dealer, not a direct-run Swatch Store, so their battery quality was bad and was not a Swatch battery. The direct-run store said it was "my" responsibility to check if the store was a direct store or a dealer, and said it was "my" responsibility to check whether the new battery was a Swatch brand or other brand. When I went to the Swatch Store on Samin Road, I thought I was in Swatch Store because it sold only Swatch watched, and the whole store decoration and store-front signs were all Swatch, I didn't even know Swatch Store distinguish by dealer and direct-run, and I didn't even know a dealer could replace my Swatch watch with other-brand battery. The direct-run store(the one on Taiwan Blvd) refused to take responsibility for the dealer-store(the one on Sanmin Road) freely replace the battery for me, it said it could not do anything to compensate me, and could not warrant dealer-store battery quality, it suggested I could replace anther new battery at its store, but refused to be free, it insisted I had to pay. I wanted to keep this commemorative watch, so I asked how long the battery would work at the direct-run store. The direct-run store said the new battery would work for 1.5-2years and guaranteed its battery was Swatch-brand. So I chose to pay for the Swatch-brand battery, replaced the dealer-Swatch-store-other-brand battery with it, even when I felt I was wronged, unjustly treated!
Today, February 9, 2017, only 5 months after I got the direct-store-Swatch-brand battery from the direct-run Swatch store on Taiwan Blvd, my watch stopped working again! The battery quality is awful! I checked with the direct-run Swatch store on Taiwan Blvd. Its seller was very impatient. She asked me to submit the receipt for the battery or credit card statement to prove I bought the battery at her store. Who would keep a receipt for a BATTERY for 5 months?! Who would pay for a BATTERY with a credit card?! I had the receipt but threw it away after I bought the battery, and I paid it with CASH! I asked the direct-run Swatch Store to check its computer, looking for the battery number I bought. She refused, saying they do not keep record on computer. I asked her again to check paper record. She refused yet again, saying they sold hundreds of batteries, and would take too much time to search for my battery number. I do not have record. She has. But she refused to look up for me because it would take too much time. Awful customer service.
So I take pains to write this complaint. Swatch prize itself for worldclass quality, right? But how do you explain for your battery quality? How do you explain for your customer service quality? How do you explain for your direct-run store and dealer store quality? Do you expect your customers to check whether the Swatch store they go to is a direct-run or a dealer after they see the Swatch store sign at the store-front? Do you expect your customers to check whether the batteries they buy at Swatch Stores are Swatch-brand or other brand? Do you expect your customers to keep the receipts for the batteries for 5 months? Do you expect your customers to pay for batteries with credit card? Do you only provide service to customers who pay with credit card but provide no service to customers who pay with cash? I really do not need a Swatch watch. It is not a necessity. I keep mine because it was a gift. And the one who bought me the watch chose Swatch because she believed its quality is good. But what I experience. It is awful. Do you want to tell her, my friends that Swatch is NOT up to the quality as we believed, not up to the quality as you advertised?
Please take care of this battery problem, and this awful customer issue for me. I hate to undergo anther awful experience once every 5 months. My watch is still not working. I am waiting for your reply and satisfactory solution.

I buy watch from swatch around two years ago, October 2014. And right now on January 2016 my watch are in damage condition (with the machine, cant run normally). When i see the guarrantee card already pass two years and three months so i cant use the guarrantee card. I'm really dissapoint with this matter, for me this watch.expensive, i buy this because want to use a good watch but only in two years and 3 months suddenly this watch cant use anymore, first i thought because of the battery. So i want to service this watch and i have to pay the cost since guarrantee already expire...so this watch only can survive for two years. Dissapointed so much for this product.
