Dissatisfied swatch watch customer
We are in receipt of a swatch watch given by ms radhika bhasin, service centre, saket, delhi, india on 10.12.16.
Mrp on watch---rs 3600 but radhika charged us rs 6400 as the price of this watch. A further discount against my old swatch watch was subtracted from this amount. And i paid rs 4825 as per radhika's email.
Why was i given an old stock with mrp of 3600 but overcharged? The watch had no dial shield and it wasn't running at the time of handing over(We had to go back to the service centre to tell them that the watch wasn't working)...This when brought to radhika 's attention was answered very matter of fact tone...Maybe the dial shield fell off, some battery problem etc! The box in which the watch was handed over to me is so old, filled with scratches and doesn't reflect the high quality swatch has a worldwide repute for.Radhika says she has charged us as per the new rate but then why was an old stock of mrp 3600 given to me?
Please refund me my entire amount of rs 4800 with the discount amount added to it as this has been a shocking experience with the way in which ms radhika has dealt with a customer and is tarnishing the image of the reputed company swatch.
Ms radhika told my wife this morning that we can go to any swatch store and check out the new price! Why should i do it when the sticker with rs 3600 is clearly marked as the mrp on the watch?I have been cheated by this lady and humbly seek a kind redressal to my problem as soon as possible.
Thanking you
Regards
Mr sanjeev abbi
product
I am writing to complain about a purchase and the quality is not good in less than 6months some of the parts from the strap is falling off, but the store wouldnt want to help me saying that the straps are not coverred by warranty, your product is not good at least you should do something to keep ur customer happy...Normally in these situation you should try to pacify the customer
swatch irony watch
Just 6 months after the guarantee ended the watch stopped working, we thought that we had to change the battery, but in the service centre told us that the mechanism isn’t working and they have to change the whole mechanism because this swatch model can’t be repaired. The cost of the new mechanism is the same as to buy a new watch.
So, brand new watch after two years just stop working, but why… who knows… just stop working. Never Swatch again! We are really disappointed!
this is the bad luck watch: https://www.swatch.com/en/watches/ycb4017ag-reptile-orange/
problem with watch link hole
I am Saiju here from Kerala, India . I had bought a new SWATCH brand watch some 3 years back . Now the connecting link pin hole seems to be very loose. So i am unable to use the same for the last couple of months. I already gave it for service twice . But again and again it came out. I bought a SWATCH watch only because of expecting the quality and durability. Unfortunately i feel that i lost my money by which i bought this one. Kindly help me out to fix the issue permanently.

total rip off!!
I bought a watch from Swatch 3.5 years ago.
It cost me around USD 300, it was an automatic Watch from Swatch.
Once I bought it, they told me that in about 2 years time, I would have to take it to maintenance since its normal that these watches lose some minutes as time passes by.
Two weeks ago I took the watch, since it was losing already about 1 hour each day. The reply from the geniuses at Swatch, was that the machine is damaged beyond repair and asked me if the warranty is still valid.
Of course the warranty is expired.
My complaint, why do I need to throw away a watch only after 3.5 years? Its a total piece of crap what this company is selling!
At least some maintenance should have been done. And its not a cheap watch!
Am not buying a Swatch EVER in my life again.
Of course I strongly advise, not do buy a Swatch watch also, they are total crap! and customer service appalling!

no repair ever
Dear Mr Swatch
The worst watch ever !
I bought swatch watch spend hard earned money assuming its to be reliable.
Within three year my watch stopped showing correct time, taken to service centre at DLF Saket.
They told me to throw it off in scrap.
Therefore swatch watches are real crap.
Can you please authenticate my plea this usually happens with swatch watches, they cannot be repaired, let me know where to throw my money?
Regards
DR J Madaan
i'd bought swatch two years before and now it stopped working (before completing the warranty period)
I bought a Swatch watch 2 weeks ago and the face is already scratched. I am so disappointed and will never again buy one of their watches. Terrible quality.
customer services
Dear Sir,
First of all, i am upset just because i suppose to write that e-mail to you.
Let me get started, My lovely wife gave me a birthday gift on 22th february 15 and it was nice swatch, it was amazing gift for me, swatch brand always special for me. But i did not like that swatch much and used only one day at home that’s all. Today 3th of March, I stopped by with my wife to Marmara Forum – İstanbul- Turkey swatch shop to change my swatch with another type, my intention was like that. Shop assistant welcomed us, we mentioned what we would like to do, he checked my watch and say ok(it means we can change), and we took time together my wife, and we choose other one. And I even signed paper for changing prosedure. And than suddenly something happenned we could not get, Store manager her name is Reyhan SEBAT, chechked my watch again again and again like estimate a price for diamond. And she found small scratch on watch band. It was really humiliating moment what she act us, I even did not research when I would like to buy new swatch from shop, your sales concept is so open and how can I make sure if someone can scratch it during the try, those watches on their arm. Her behavior really so bad for us maybe when my wife buy that watch that scratches on it. And she offered us to send my watch to technical service do you think that is meaningful ? I am an electrical engineer and know what technical services are, how technical guy can say about scratch does that make any sense or that just circumlocution ?
The reason why I am writting that e-mail make all customer services should be same all around the world not in TURKEY – İSTANBUL- MARMARA FORUM.
Thanks for listening to me, I kindly ask your approval for letting me pick my favorite swatch and use it. And feel proud my staff, advertise swatch brand everywhere like before, If that shop say that they can not change than I will start make black propaganda for using my business career with chambers of electrical and electronics engineering and I won’t pass front of your any shop again.
My birthday gift should remind me good memories not bad swatch memories.

problem with tissot watch
Dear Sir,
Please find below my complaint to Swatch Group, India regarding my watch. The complaint was sent to the concerned officer on 5.11.2014. Yesterday I received a reply on phone after my continuous follow up that the complaint was not received by Mr. Joseph. Even if it was received by him, he would not entertain it and I have to pay for the spare part.
This is the working style of such a big company. In India, even a reputed company like Swatch Group does not value its customers.
Shall be grateful if something can be done in this regard.
Warm regards,
Jitendra

Dear Sir,
I bought one Tissot Watch (Retailer no.T0244172101, Sl.no.SKL-JA-17885 & date of purchase – 26.1.2013) from Golden Wien, Donauzentrum Top 108, Telephone:2026520, Vienna, Austria. I was residing in Vienna at the time of purchase and left Vienna for New Delhi (India) in mid of June 2013.
2. Immediately after purchase of the watch i.e. within span of 10 days, watch started malfunctioning. I approached above retailer for the problem. He said that it would take around three weeks for the watch to be repaired. After two weeks, he returned the watch saying that there was problem in the battery and the same has been replaced. All this took full February. In May end, the watch started showing again the same problem (despite replacement of battery). I again approached the retailer who again stated that it would take three weeks for repairing. As I had to move on transfer to India by mid of June 2013, I requested him for an early action. He advised me to
approach the main TISSOT servicing branch (Swatch Group Oesterreich GmbH, Customer Service, ARES Tower, Donau City Str.11, 1220, Wien) for speedy action. I deposited the watch with the main servicing branch (reference no.267118 dated 5.6.2013) and requested for an early action. Servicing center returned the watch on 11.6.2013 stating that there was a part broken inside the watch and the same has been replaced. I could not understand this different reason for the same problem.
3. Since then the watch has been functioning properly. But in December last year, the cap of one of the side buttons (lower one) has come out and misplaced. Because of this I think the watch is now no longer water resistant. I tried to find out the service center in Delhi and finally got one at Saket District Center, Saket.
4. I approached your above service center on 28.10.14 at 1400 hrs. and met a lady (sorry, I forgot to ask her name) there. After examination, your service center told me that the crown of the watch is broken as it has been dropped by me and hence I have to pay towards repair charges (Rs.3500/-), although the watch is under warranty. This shocked me as I never have dropped the watch. The watch has been handled twice by the service centres of the Swatch Group India in Vienna. This might be happened there also. On my insisting, that lady told me that she would book my watch and submit my case to her manager incharge (as she was on leave that day) and would inform me in two days if it was accepted by the Manager. She also told me that in case of disagree also, she would take my permission before repairing the watch.
5. Since then I have not received any phone call from your center. Today when I called them (Ph:[protected]), some other lady picked up the phone and showed her inability to help me in this regard and asked me to tell her the name of the lady whom I met on 28.10.2014. This is the efficiency of Swatch Group India. Anyway, she gave me another phone number (Ph:[protected]) of the same centre to solve my problem. On that phone number, I talked with Ms. Ankita who after listening to my problem told me to call after half-an hour. Meanwhile she would talk to the Manager about my problem. What kind of functioning is this where right hand does not know what left hand is doing. Anyway, I got return call from your center and Ms. Ankita told me that Swatch group has agreed to not to charge service charges but for spare part (around Rs.1450/-) I have to pay. I am told that the part is missing so I should pay for that. This is ridiculous. It was not my mistake and I should not be held responsible for the part which has broken itself. If such fragile are the crowns of the side buttons of the watch, why does company use them? Why doesn't company use steel to prepare these crowns?
6. it can be seen from the above that purchasing a Tissot watch has not been a good experience for me (though I was very fond of Tissot watches and was one of my dreams to buy one). Despite all these problems, I have to go with this present watch as I can not throw this out. But if I buy another one in future, I don’t think I will go for Tissot any more.
7. Shall be grateful for your kind cooperation in this regard. Inconvenience caused is regretted.
Warm regards,

customer service in nigeria
I OWN 7 SWATCH WRISTWATCHES AND I USED TO LOVE THE BRAND UNTIL NOW!
0n the 1st of June 2014 I discovered the strap of my Brand New Swatch (SUSB400) (purchased on the 18th of May 2014) had snapped so i decided to take it to the Swatch shop in my area. I got there and the Lady there was exceptionally rude and unhelpful. She seemed not to know what exact advice to offer me. 1st she said it will take 3 months to fix the strap but waiting for that three months would not guarantee that it will be fixed, then she went on to say oh but i need to ask the watch doctor and that would take 3 weeks but the watch doctor is not available for now. Then she went on to tell me that even if she had to fix it the straps are not readily available in Nigeria and that if they have fix it they have to order 50 straps and after fixing just 1 what would she so with the remaining 49 straps? All this information was giving to me in that order with a whole lot of attitude. Finally in my annoyance i decided to drive 1 hour out in the pouring rain to the store that i bought the watch and they seemed to have the same bad attitude. The lady attendant asked me when i bought the watch and i gave her the date then she asked what the problem was and i explained to her and all she could say was "oh that’s sad, there’s really nothing we can do". I then requested for the manager who came out and decided to call the third swatch shop to ask if they had the strap. By the time she got off the phone she told me that the 3rd store had the strap, i specifically asked her if she described the right strap for the other attendant and she assured me that she did, only for me to drive out another 30minutes in the rain with traffic on a Sunday (which is usually a rest day for me) to the third shop. I get there only to find out that they did not have it and that the other attendant at the second store did not give her a description of the correct strap n question. so i finally filled out the repair form and left the watch in possession of the shop.
Its been almost 2 months now and every time i go to check for the watch i get one excuse or the other! i own 6 other swatch wrist watches and now i am convinced that it might be time to switch brands! It is extremely disappointing the level of nonchalance of your staff in the Lagos Nigeria swatch shops. I have not even received a phone call with any update as to the whereabouts of my watch or to apologize for the delay. I am 110% this neglect and complete lack of customer service is not supported by the brands management in Switzerland. This is completely unacceptable. I demand that my watch is either replaced or I get my money back. I am sure the brand would not appreciate it if a disgruntle customer takes to social media to purposefully discredit the brand. It takes only one person to start up a complaint and a whole lot of people will voice out their disapproval and disappointment in the brand.
Please get this sorted.
THANKS

unauthorised charges being demanded
Team Swatch,
I had bought a SWATCH Watch ‘SUBB111G’ in the year May 2011. It was a great experience until December 2013. When the watch started running slow. I visited one of your Authorised Stores in India at J.M. Road, Pune. I was not given any solution and I was told that the repairing center is at SJS Mall, Pune and that I need to drop my watch there only. On repeated request also, the showroom person was rude and did not listen to my query. This was just the beginning of the bitter experience which has not ended so far.
Then, I visited Swatch, SJS Mall store, Pune in January 2014. I was told that the battery needed to be replaced which was done by the Store person (Mr. Patil) which had cost me Rs.250/-. Even when I insisted to keep the watch with them only under observation, I was denied mentioning that 99% of the times, Swatch watches run slow only because of problem in Battery. BUT TO MY SURPRISE, AGAIN, after 2 days, the watch started running slow.
In between, I had bought a new watch from Swatch store at Phoenix Mall, Pune on 23 February 2014 since till that time, Swatch used to be my favorite and most trustworthy brand.
Again, on 02 March 2014, I visited the store at SJS Mall and asked the person that the problem was not resolved. This time he (Mr. Patil) said that the watch need to be kept under observation and that it needs to be sent to the Service Center at Gurgaon. To which I agreed. On 06 March 2014, I was told that the watch is back from the repair center and I was fully assured that the problem has been fully resolved this time. Also, that, due to some dust/fungi in the machinery, it was running slow and that now it was fully repaired. No charges were taken for the same.
To my utter shock, again in exactly 2 days I started facing the same problem i.e. for the FOURTH TIME! Believe me, at that point of time, my trust in the ‘Swatch’ brand got shattered. But this was not the end. I would like to mention here that both me and my husband are working and we get time on Sundays only and that the SJS Mall is very far of my residence. Still, SINCE I WAS LEFT WITH NO OTHER OPTION, I went again on 13 April 2014 with my same old complain of watch running slow. I insisted to provide me at least some contact no. of either the repair center or some employee so that I may put my point and the pains I had taken in the past 4 months because my watch. This time also, I was assured that the watch will definitely be repaired or else I will get a replacement.
After few days, I got a call from Mr. Patil mentioning that the company had kept the watch under observation and agreed to replace the watch SINCE DUE TO MACHINERY PROBLEM/MANUFACTURING DEFECT, it cannot be repaired and that some nominal charges may have to be paid as it had run out of Guarantee. And that he will inform about the estimate as soon as he gets from the service center. Meanwhile, he enquired about the where abouts of the watch and I had mentioned that I had purchased it on 13 May 2011.
Again to my utter shock, Mr. Patil almost disappeared over the phone all of a sudden every time I made a call. Either I was told that he is on half day leave or that he is in washroom. I literally lost my patience and asked the new person (Mr. Ajit) about my watch details. I was shamelessly told that I’ll have to bear Rs.2, 400/- to get the new replacement. I was totally taken aback. A brand in which I had sooooo much trust….which has presence in ‘n’ no. of countries…which made me so proud…after running for four months I get this result. After that I tried to follow up and ask for the reason of the charges as at the time of purchase, every time the sales people ensure that Swatch is famous for the best machinery in the world and that its machinery last for more than 15-20 years without any complaint.
On insisting to speak to some higher authority, I was given the number of Mr. Sandeep Rana, Regional Head, Mumbai. I narrated the entire episode of 4 months to him. He said that though 09 months are over since the guarantee has expired still, he will get the replacement done as it is genuine problem from the company as there was a problem in the machinery which cannot be repaired. But he needs to keep it for observation at Mumbai Service Center, to which I agreed. Even after the commitment time, I got NO RESPONSE. Again I followed up with the Swatch representative Mr. Ajit at SJS Mall, Pune since none of my calls were being attended for 3 days.
I was shamelessly told by Mr. Ajit that Mr.Sandeep has to look after 10, 000 watches and that my watch was not the only one he is looking after. And that I will get a call back from Mr. Sandeep whenever he would be free and get time. I was feeling very miserable, helpless and frustrated by looking at the services offered by ‘Swatch’. STILL I WAS LEFT WITH ABSOLUTELY NO OPTION.
ONLY ONE THING WAS RUNNING IN MY MIND after slogging for 04 months..…A brand which claims to have international presence, State of the art watches etc. etc., Are the watches of Swatch capable of running only for 02 years? Further, in this huge brand…is there NO responsible person to supervise the customer service deptt. or atleast THERE IS NO ONE WHO CAN EMPATHISE WITH THE COMPLAINS OF THE CUSTOMER.
After almost 4 days, I got a call from Mr. Sandeep Rana that the watch has been sent back to the SJS Mall after thorough observation and I still need to pay Rs.1, 500/- for the replacement.
My biiiiiig question/request here is that Why should I pay any extra penny for the replacement? I have already paid full amount of my share of the price of the watch at the time of purchase, why should I again pay any amount again if there is a fault in the machinery and if it cannot be repaired at the company’s end.
Are Swatch watches capable of running only for 02 years?
I have already spent Rs.250/- unnecessarily on the battery….Spent more than Rs.2, 000/- on petrol in past 05 months because of FOUR TIMES the incapability of the Swatch company to repair the watch, spent on my phone Bills and on the TOP OF IT, LOST MY PEACE OF MIND in facing this harassment almost from last 05 months just because of a watch.
May I request some responsible person to look into this serious matter and do justice. Or am I still required to go again on some higher level to fight for my rights.
Seeking an early reply.
regards,
Pragya

the worst watchmakers
Don't send your Omega in for service through Swatch Group US. The watchmakers they have should not be working on watches. They have a school to teach them how to become certified. But a lot of them can't even pass the test but a guy named foster has to pass them so he can under pay these sorry ### watchmakers. A total of 40 watchmakers have left in the past 2 years due to being under paid. There are a couple of very good ones but they leave after a year and hope they fix your watch. If you have a swatch group product you are better off going to your local jewelry store . You will most likely wait very long for your watch just to get it back in non working condition or with scratches on the hands & dial. There quality service is a zero. The customer needs to know this before paying $500 to get your watch fixed.

poor quality and customer service
I have a touch expert watch and I had a PRC200 watch automatic from Tissot also.. The first one PRC200 I replaced it because it was delaying time very much and I got a touch expert one but it is worst because all the sensors in it wasn't accurate I bet that Casio watches are cheaper but better .. Well it is in the dealer here and they still fixing it in the warranty but I contacted them a lot and no body is answering me even the head quarter in Switzerland and they are ignoring me ... so I guess that is a lesson not to buy any thing from this group anymore and Japan is the best
dishonest sale
I went to the Swatch store at Villa Lobos mall in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to check if my old Swatch Irony is working well, and if so, ask to change the bracelet for a new one. The seller (apparently the store manager) Daniele, after replacing the clock battery and polish the glass, said it was perfect, and I proceeded to buy a steel bracelet for US$80 (in Brazil, everything imported is double or more the price in the USA). After walking through the mall for an hour or so, I returned to the store as the clock showed 20 minutes delay. The same seller took the clock to test and came back saying it was perfect, and even gave me a card for a tech support service on Avenida Paulista. When I visited the tech support, I found it would cost more than US$120 to repair the clock. I called the Swatch store and explained the case, and the same salesperson told me that there would be no way to return the bracelet and have a refund, as the watch left the store in perfect condition and that the shop is not responsible for anything ...
I wonder, who is responsible in this case? I asked to first check if the watch was working fine, and only if so, then I would buy the bracelet. Would I had to have the technical expertise? Still, if I am dissatisfied with the product, sales, service, respect, and everything else - do I not deserve a refund for the product?

repair estimate
In March of 2011 I sent my older Omega watch to Swatch Group in Secaucus, NJ for repair.I will make a long story short.Swatch Group sent me back a repair estimate of 1, 171.50 ! I all most went for it because the Omega had belonged to my late Father. I had Swatch Group return my Omega unrepaired, it layed on my closet shelf for a year or so untill I decided to again try and get it repaired. I came across a real watch repair man in Kane, Pa. Mark Siranni [ Watchdocter] [protected]. For 95.00 Mark simply cleaned my Omega and it has ran fine ever since ! My Omega required NO parts ! Be careful of Swatch Group Repair in Secaucus NJ.They tryed to take me for over a thousand dollars! I am glad I shopped around first. Tim Smalley in Florida

defective band
Bought a swatch watch in 2006. Had to replace the band thrice. The watch has a beautiful black and steel band but the black joints are made of plastic and it cannot carry the weight of the watch. The problem has been raised by several others who bought the same product. Had to send the watch to kuwait to get the band once coz it was not available in india at that time. Replacing the band thrice cost me more than the watch. Now this is the fourth time a joint in the band is again broken. Dont know what to do. I was really a swatch fan but having faced the problem so many times really is fed up with it.

omega watch repair
I purchased an Omega Seamaster in 2007. According to Omega website, watches should be serviced when around 4 to 5 years old.
At the end of 2010 I sent the watch to the service centre recommended by the Omega website - The Swatch Group Belgium S.A./N.V., The Bridge, 1424 Chaussée de Mons, Bruxelles 1070
Swatch Group held the watch for over 2 months and charged me 315 Euros to service it (around 200 Euro of the cost) and repair the strap.
Within 3 weeks of the watch finally being returned, it stopped.
I returned the watch once again to Swatch Group who held on to it for another 6 weeks.
When it was finally returned to me for the second time, the date started changing at 36 hours instead of 24 hours.
Lesson - probably not safe to service your watch and certainly don't use the Swatch Group!
my swatch is rubbish
And i received no feedback after having sent two complains to Customer Care via the Swatch official website. I cannot change the time or the date anymore. I would like to get it fixed at an authorized Swatch dealer. I am prepare to pay for the service. I do not demand free this or that! I went to a Swatch shop in Valencia and they basically told me to throw it away. It´s a Swatch Irony. I expected more than 18 months from a solid watch like this! It´s why i bought a Swatch in the first place. I wanted at least a decade from it. It seems as if Swatch is betraying our expectations. This is not an isolated case.
I would like my watch fixed. Who from Swatch can help me, if anyone? My e-mail is [protected]@yahoo.co.uk
Cheers,
Gabriel
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
As you were told, throw it away. Swatch watches are pretty but not built to last. Most models cannot be repaired because they are glued shut. You local swatch store may give you a 50% discount on your next swatch if you like to be cheated again.
