ups store #3961 and ups customer service
Sirs: I have a mailbox with store #3961 at 4327 S. Hwy 27 in Clermont, Fl. I have been trying to contact them for almost a week. 5 Emails, 2 voice mails and nobody has the courtesy to return my call. I have a mailbox with mail forwarding service and need to speak to someone. All I am asking is for someone to return my call to answer a question.
I also emailed UPS Corporate customer service 2 days ago and nobody has replied either. I sent another email request today but I have yet to have someone reach out to me. Poor poor customer service.
customer service
I'm a long time customer and box holder. My wife is as well. She's currently caring for a relative and recently opened a box in at store 2399 in Oakwood, OH. They failed to provide her a key to her box and the 24hr access door for over 3 months. When she arrived just as they were closing on Mar 25, 2017, they finally gave her a key, but wouldn't let her retrieve her packages, among which was a critical thyroid medication, claiming they had already "closed out the registers". There was a Caucasian woman with short hair and man with a shaved or bald head on duty. They also have sent communications stating she needs to retrieve her packages urgently. The tone of the communication was less friendly and more accusatory.
My wife is African-American, and noticed that although the city demographics reflect nearly a 50% Black population, she has never observed any employee of color at this location. She's held boxes at other UPS stores in various states and never experienced the type of treatment as she has at Store 2399. She is considering withdrawing as a customer, as am I, and sharing this awful experience both online and with friends and colleagues who may inquire as to our opinion of UPS stores in general. Please respond with your thoughts and plan of action, if any. Thank you.
customer service representative
I went into the UPS store at the Atlantic convention center to have some catalogs shipping back to my business, well the gentleman that help me out was very rude, I don't have very hand writing, so I as the customer service representative if he could fill it out for me, well he said he could not. Really rude because I was bringing in catalog's to ship home, I want this looked in to
wedding decor
I have been going through the Mankato, MN UPS store for different wedding items since November. JP is the gentleman I have been working with and I have been waiting for wedding foils with specific wording on it since November. I have had to repeatedly call or stop in and ask for them and he keeps having excuses for why they aren't in. I'm assuming he doesn't actually do what customers are asking and has excuses to why things aren't done. They were supposed to be in yesterday and I stopped in and he Lady at the desk had no idea what I was talking about and JP was not there. I received a voicemail from him today wondering why I didn't stop and get them and I returned the call stating he lost my business because there is no reason this has taken so long, he then tried to tell me that most people have to put down a deposit for any print jobs and was trying to turn the story around on why he did not complete his job. He never ONCE asked me for a deposit because I would have gladly did that, I also ordered wedding detail cards from him a few months ago and was never asked to put a deposit down And these also took along time to get from him. He is a very poor at his job, a poor business man, and terrible with communication with customers and co workers. I would suggest bringing taking care of this problem before you lose more business. If he is supposed to get a deposit from customers from all print jobs he is not doing so, or even asking. The UPS store has lost my business forever and I will be sure to not recommend you for any print jobs.
Sincerely,
Unhappy customer
criminal
I was in the parking lot of the store located on Inman Ave in Edison, NJ when I witnessed the employee come outside and spit on a woman and her daughter. This is the most disgusting thing that you could ever do to someone. This is not the type of person that should be representing UPS or anyone else. I am quite sure that there is a video of this since the woman and her daughter were both recording this.
damaged/missing package
I am writing this complaint in regards to a tea set that I shipped via the ups store located at 9449 S. Kedzie Avenue. the item was shipped on 12/15/2016, I tracked the package and was informed that the package was not able to be delivered and would be arriving at the UPS store for me to pick up on December 24th 2016. When I got to the store to pick up my package which was a tea set valued at $100, The entire package was crumbled and the box felt very empty. I asked the store associate for scissors to open the box and found that the only thing left from my entire tea set was a saucer and 1 cup. The remaining items were all missing. I was told that the package had been damaged and the damaged items were thrown away! The associate told me that they would enter a complaint for this and the store manager, Pat would contact me after Christmas, I did not hear from Pat so I called the store and spoke with her. Pat assured me that she would look into it and process my claim and she would be calling me back the next day. I never got a call from pat so I called the store for several days asking for a manager and I was told that the manager was not there and I would have to call back to speak with Pat again. as of today, February 21, 2017, I have spoken with the Manager at the UPS store on 94th and Kedzie a total of 7 times in which each time I was told that she needed to look into the claim and call me back. Each time we've spoken it was because I reached out to her again and got the same response. The tea set was a very valuable possession which is now gone and I would like some assistance in replacing at least the value of the set as the actual tea set is gone. I am out of options with the UPS store because I have not been able to receive any help for over 2 months. I've attached pictures of what i initially shipped VS what was given to me when i picked the package up at the UPS Store. the tracking number for this Package is 1Z0209FE0325778600 the price of shipment was $12.02 and the price of the tea set was $100.00.
notary
Today 2/22/2017 I went to ups store in Murray Kentucky to get a title Notarized to sell a auto. The Notary would not let my wife sign because it was her maiden name and she didn't have that ID which is correct. So I said I will sign it because the Kentucky title has me or my wife as owners. He went on this big story that both had to sign which was false plus it is not a job as a notary to become a lawyer. I went to bank down the street and the notarized the title with no problem. Here is a link that explains owner1 or owner2, only one owner has to sign. https://help.peddle.com/customer/portal/articles/1563619-how-do-i-prepare-a-kentucky-title-
So in summary you have a notary giving false legal advice not to mention he is rude.
I would like someone to get back to me about rectifying this problem
store theft
I dropped off a cell phone package at the UPS store on River Road in Eugene Oregon and later found out that it never made it out of the store. I returned to inform the owner and he denied it. I looked over at his employee who was laughing so I asked him what was funny, he smiled and said nothing. He looked like the same person who took my package and said he would mail it. Wondering if this store had a lot of employee theft?
shipping to wrong address, two different box size measurements on two different shipping labels on the same box to be shipped.
With two different box sizes on two different shipping labels on the same box, the box was shipped to the wrong address, back to me the one shipping it out not the addressee on the shiping label to be shiped to. When notifying the store that the box was shiped to the wrong address the workers at the store came up with excuse after excuse after excuse of why this improper shipment was my fault (the custumer) and not the fault of UPS (the company that was paid to ship a pakage, not to spread blame). When I talked to the manager/owner of store to request a refund for services not rendered the owner refused to refund the cost of the shipment that was paied for and not delivered .
drop off receipt charge
I brought a return ups package on 12/28/2016 at a ups drop off location: keepin' it local [protected], 536 main st, athol, ma 01331. I paid 1.00 for a receipt. Not sure why they charge all customers a $1.00 receipt fee. I didnt feel comfortable just dropping it off and not getting one so I paid the $1.00 for it. I have never had to pay for a ups drop off receipt before. Is that new do you know? He has a handmade sign at the desk displaying that if you want a ups receipt there is a $1.00 charge to get one. I also let the shipper know what happened since it was their return label and I should have not had any charges to pay out of pocket to return. The guy in the store didnt care at all. He said you either pay the 1.00 for the receipt or dont get one. So I paid but not happy about it.
owner/manager of store extremely rude
My daughter and I went into the Ups store at 734 Franklin Ave, Garden City, NY on Dec 23 2016 at 10am. I Assume this woman is the owner. She is the rudest person on the planet! She threw me out of the store because i was there with my daughter who was dropping off an application. She said "You have to get out!. No I'm serious leave now"! Then says to my daugther " You dont bring people with you when you come for a job. As I"m walking down the hall I asked her " What time do you think you"ll be done "? She throws her hands up and says "That's it ? She would of had the job if you would of just left".She says "kids cant bring their parent with them to interviews"! If she would have read the application she would have realized my daughter is 21. This woman has no business interacting with people. She berated me just for being in the store. If i needed to leave she could have just said could you give us a few minutes while I interview her. Instead she says "get out" ! Really?! I was shocked to say the least. This womans needs to told her behavior is unacceptable. It not ok to treat people this way.
ups store venice blvd 90066
Wish I could give a negative 5 rating to this store. Because as I write this review I am still in utter shock and disbelief at how I was treated. I have never written a negative review before but have also never been publicly humiliated before. I enterd the UPS store on 12405 Venice Blvd 90066 owned by Michael Williams Sr on 12/20/2016 at about 2:10 p.m. I went into to the store with the purpose of returning a package to Amazon. When doing returns I like having a receipt as proof of my return so I patiently waited for Micheal to finish with another customer so my package could be scanned. As I mentioned before I prefer a recipt for my packages so rather than just putting it on the designated return rack I waited. After finishing with the customer Micheal (who I now know is the franchise owner guess this is why he thinks he can be rude to his costumers) came to me looked at my already addressed and taped package which I laid on the counter next to the scale and asked if I needed a recipt so I answered yes. I can now only assume that me wanting a recipt was a bit of an annoyance to him. Anyway after he scanned my pack and printed my receipt instead of handing it to me he put the recipt down on the counter away from me then walked away. At first not realizing what just happened I stood there thinking maybe he wasn't finished with me. But when he proceeded to help another customer I knew something was awry. Still not sure if that was my receipt on the counter I decided to peak at it. After being certain this was my recipt I picked it up and asked. "Why are you being rude to me? I wasn't rude to you." Micheal proceeded to completely ignore me and all I got was the mortified look on the face of the woman he was now helping. I couldn't believe I was being treated like this being humiliated for what exactly? I did nothing except want a receipt for my return. I went to my car to borrow my sister's phone since I had forgotten mines at home and returned to the store. I wanted his name (which I didn't know at the time) and whatever other information I would need to file a formal complaint. He refused to give me his name but directed me to the 1800 number on the wall. I was then told I could not stand in front of the counter because it was for customers (no customers in line at this time if I could point that out) so I politely complied and moved to the back of the store. While there the female worker returned from what I can assume was her break so I attempted to ask her some questions regarding how to file a complaint and if there was a manager on duty. Micheal (who I know know is the franchise owner) told her not speak to me and she immediatly complied (its ok everone needs their job). I was then told to get out of the store because it was for customers and if that wasn't enough he took it a step further and decided to mock me like a six year old (since I was on the brink of tears) about if I was going to cry. He made it truely authentic by doing the eye wipes and crying face. I could not believe this was really happening to me. I am always polite and pleasant with everyone what did I do to deserve this kind of treatment? Here I was just returning my package and how did things go so wrong. I was and still am completely mortified by this experience and I can't understand why someone would ever treat a customer in such a vile way. This man thinks because he owns this franchise he is above reproach. But this experience have left me in such a traumatized state I will follow any and every venue possible to make sure he understands you cannot treat people this way.
ups store #3621
This complaint is in reference to a package that i had shipped out from the ups store #3621 located at 1075 easton ave ste 11, somerset, nj 08873. The package was shipped out on wednesday, 11/30 with expected delivery on thur 12/1 to south brunswick, nj. On 12/5, i contacted the intended recipient and she informed me that she had not received the package. I immediately contacted the ups store to ask them to track the location of the package and they told me it was marked as delivered to east brunswick at 11:47 am on 12/5. This was clearly an incorrect address and i asked the store to follow up with customer service. They agreed to call me back once they received information from ups corporate. After several hours, i tried to call the store back, however, my calls were not answered. Since i live within a mile of the store, i decided to drive there to get a status update since my calls were being ignored. The store manager was completely uninterested in my problem and couldn't care less. He just gave me the 1800 customer service and went back to his work behind the counter. I proceeded to call the 1800 number while at the store to try and track down my package myself since it was clear that i was not going to get any assistance from the ups store manager. After more than 5 different calls to customer service it is now 12/6 and i am still no closer to having my package returned or delivered. I am now being told that the package will be picked up from the unintended recipient today and delivered back to the ups store tomorrow sometime. Throughout this entire ordeal, i have only received one call back from ups. All of the calls have been from me requesting information and following up with additional information. As a matter of fact, the unintended recipient was far more helpful than ups as he contacted me as soon as he got home and saw the package on his front porch and told me that he had my package. He was courteous enough to seek out my number on the package and call. I received no such courtesy from ups. I am shocked that a company this large can operate this way. The complete lack of customer service from the ups store all the way up to ups corporate is outrageous. Once i receive my package, rest assure i will never use ups again. I will take my chances with usps and fedex and see what happens there. If ups is the future of shipping, we are in big trouble. Highly disappointed, frustrated, angry, annoyed and downright pissed off!
notary services
I walked into the store for notary service. They charged me $7 - $4 for two signatures and $3 TRANSIT FEE. The transit fee is charged if THEY COME TO ME for the service. I didn't realize they had illegally overcharged me until I went into another UPS store the same day and they charged me only $4 for the service. I went to another UPS store because the original $7 notary stamp was rejected by the AZ Secretary of States Office - they were incomplete!
unprofessional packaging, not per ups standards & specifications
I paid for UPS shipping, insurance and UPS store professional packaging. The item was ruined during shipment. UPS denied the insurance claim due to "insufficient packaging, not per UPS standards" UPS Store not honoring their "packaging guarantee" because I printed my label on line not in their store. UPS and UPS store have found a clever way to collect money for insurance, offer "packaging guarantees" and then deny any claims filed...all while saving money on inexpensive, inappropriate packaging materials. I'm filing a law suit against both UPS and UPS Store # 2003 to get resolution.
the worst packing and shipping and experience maybe ever...
IF YOUR READING THIS, PLEASE DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND
STAY AWAY FROM THIS UPS STORE AT ALL COST! After paying a high premium for so called "professional" packing, insurance, and shipping, they inadequately packed and shipped this rare 70lb.+ AMPLIFIER in a cheap single wall, 65lb. MAX GROSS WEIGHT box, which ended up being delivered with MAJOR COSMETIC DAMAGE! Even UPS deemed it damaged and sent this UPS STORE # 5519 a claim check but they would not send any partial funds, honor any estimates or replacement part costs I sent them to repair the amp. UPS wants nothing to do with these UPS STORES. They are only " Franchised" in and are not directly affiliated with UPS. FYI - UPS STORES CHARGE "PREMIUMS" OVER STANDARD UPS RATES! They also DONT HONOR THEIR "UPS STORE PACK AND SHIP GUARANTEE" policy and I again received ZERO reimbursements for this guarantee for my damaged amplifier. UPS STORES in general are terrible - PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS FOR YOURSELF before you consider but this one especially should be avoided at all costs! Fed Ex offers much better services! This 1 month experience was so awful that I'am sending complaints to the BBB, Attorney Generals Office and Consumer Affairs. OMG - look at all the complaints they have here already... This UPS Store has cheated the wrong person.
service
My complaint is on 07/02/16 I had some clothes boxed and shipped by the aforementioned store owner for a total of $146.76. Although, I thought that was a somewhat expensive I believed this was the cost. On 07/16/16, I made the decision to have another smaller load shipped and the lady said, "the total cost is 174.81". I asked how was this so, when what I had was a smaller load that costed more. Her exact words were, "the companies prices increased". I asked her in a matter of two weeks? She told me "yes, the company increased their prices", little did I know she was the owner. I believe this was the old adage of "price gouging", because of my situation, that is, having a vehicle to small to transport what I had and pressed to leave Florida, I paid the price.
I believed the owner was unfair with her prices and needs to be reported to the BBB, in which that is what I plan to do after voicing my displeasure with greed of an owner.
The UPS Store is a retail location, which is a franchise. UPS is not. Next time, google UPS and go to the corporate store.
stolen mail and money order by ups store employee
On the 4th of may 2016 I went into the UPS store at keystone avenue in Reno. It is my habit to buy a money order from another store and take it to the UPS store to buy an envelop and stamp and ask for them to mail it for me. Today I got a visit from a detective informing me my mail was stolen by a UPS employee at the store. I went to the store and the manager verified she knew and reported to the police the employee who was stealing. As of today that employee has been arrested. Case # 16-8545 financial crimes division and Reno Police dept. I am wondering why I have to eat the cost of this theft of $400.00. The detective showed me a copy of my money order that had been stolen and cashed by the ups employee. Why if I trusted a store employee to mail my money order who was hired by the manager and it was stolen do I have to pay for the theft? Odds are I will not get reimbursed by the criminal employee and I am now facing eviction because of the theft. Should there or is there a disclaimer in the store "not responsible for employee theft". Why is it the store does not cover my loss? It is verified the employee whom stole it and who it is. The manager apologied but still why is it me that has to eat the loss instead of the store?
customer service
UPS Store 130 Shore Rd. Port Washington, NY, 11050
This store has the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. I would give -5 stars if it were possible. The owner has some real anger issues. I went to ship an overnight package and asked for some blank envelopes. He got real nasty and asked if I had a UPS account. He said why don't you order them directly from UPS. I asked if the envelopes cost him anything and he got real nasty and said no but I don't have many. I told him he had a real bad attitude. When I was leaving the store he followed me out with the trash and started banged it on the sidewalk. He actually punched the plate glass window and started screaming obscenities. I would steer clear of this store and this maniac!
the store tried to charge me $ 1.50 for tapping the pre-paid shipping label
On 03/17/2015 at the UPS store ( Westminster Center, 6765 Westminster Boulevard, Westminster, CA 92683) I pre-paid the UPS shipping label and printed out at home I had everything packed and taped but the shipping label. When I arrived to the store and asked the gentleman in the store if he could tape the shipping label to the box he asked me for $1.50. I...
