I work at Tim Hortons on 423 Cumberland St, Ottawa, Ontario, K1N 0B5. Last week (December 7th 2023) I had the flu, so I contacted the assistant manager (Tharun Kumar) the day before to give him as much notice as possible. I then gave him a possible replacement option to help make it easier for him.
The next day I was told that the replacement option forgot and couldn’t make it so Tharun told me I had to come in even though I was sick. Despite me telling Tharun I couldn’t come because I was very ill and contagious, he continued to force me to come. He then started threatening me that he will kick my face and told me to shut up when I repeated that I couldn’t come in.
A different coworker called me afterwards saying he received a phone call from Tharun saying that he will “kick my [censored] face”
After this happened, I tried emailing the manager (Jaspreet) for the owners contact information. She replied saying that she couldn’t do that and if I had any problems I could come to her. I then sent her an email of the situation and she ignored it. A few hours later I get a text from Tharun basically saying that Jaspreet wasn’t going to do anything about it. Jaspreet not only disclosed a private conversation between an employee and the manager, but she is also neglecting the safety of her employees.
I have yet to find a way to file a workplace harassment report. I am currently in contact with my old tims location’s manager and owner. They are both helping me a lot but I hope this also helps.

Desired outcome: I would like the regional manager or owner to give Tharun Kumar and Jaspreet the consequences they deserve.
