Unfair additional charges

Paid delivery of 4 hours time frame. Journey of 15mins. Was delivered. After couple weeks, received emails of additional charges of wait time cost because of receiver delay. But sender to pay for the cost. This is funny.

I think only this scam company has such term n condition which did not highlight during on the booking to mention there is a wait time cost. $10 per 5 mins waiting time if delay of receiver. That a joke. Who will make a booking prior to check your company term n condition before making delivery booking. I am paid door to door service delivery within 4 hours timeframe, not paid by uber charge by per mins. But they still bill you even was delivery within 1 hr.
I paid for commercial delivery address. Your company expect commercial company all small size operational which the driver will come n go. So if we get delivered to the big company so will be many drivers line up to get delivered, so all customers will get this waiting time charges. But so far I know only your company has such fradulent charges without published on the quote booking during customer try to book and use your company.
Please spread the words and stop using this company. I will continously do my right to tell others and lodge the claim to accc soon.

what a complete joke of an experience. These guys "rebooked" my delivery 5x then on the 6th day said im better off just cancelling and getting refund. Go directly through courier dont use these idiots. Literally no power or control. Their script provides no intention to actually help. I clicked 1 star because i couldnt post without picking any stars.
Desired outcome: Hopefully go out of business. Literally no sympathy for having my mother come and wait 6 days in a row for a damn courier to come pick up. There advice was to cancel. Cool.

I booked a courier for pickup 19/12 delivery 20/12 and this did not happen. I rang first thing 20/12 and was on hold for 22 minutes to be disconnected. I rang back and was on hold for over an hour and i was pleasant but for your operator to basically say tough luck not our problem was quite frustrating. I then firmly spoke to her saying that is not a great answer I want to hear she said please do not speak to me like this (I didn't raise my voice) and she would cancel the delivery. I then got upset and said do not do that and get TNT to pickup straight away.
At no stage was i rude till she gave me the attitude of stiff S#$@. When you pay for a service you expect delivery and not get a non caring attitude in response.
If you don't want customers to be rude or agressive how about show a bit of caring and not put the problem back on the customer.

Damaged freight
IRE019620668 When the driver delivered the boxes to my place of employment my manager instructed the driver to drop boxes next to the door. The driver literally dropped the boxes from chest height straight onto the floor which has damaged 3 bags of product inside of the box. The driver was very rude to my manager and i have 3 other witnesses who saw what happened. I get deliveries to my workplace all the time and we have never encountered such a unprofessional delivery driver.

Unauthorised Additional Credit Card charges
Hi Team,
I just received the below email from our Consignment from the 19/9.
Firstly, unsure why we are getting charged this additional wait time, all the items were in the loading dock ready to be picked up, security were aware from 11am, that there would be a pickup from 12pm onwards.
Secondly, I was not notified by anyone on the day that the courier was waiting there at the loading dock for 39mins.
I was in contact with The Star throughout the day, and the last the Events Manager heard was from me at 4.17pm when I heard the items had been picked up & delivered already as I received a notification (see attached) that they were delivered.
If you look at the notification attached the items were picked up at 3.10pm, and taken to our office by 4.06pm, unsure where they were waiting for 39mins, but to charge us an additional $71.25 when the initial job cost us only $53.90 is unbelievable, I would like to contest the additional charge.
Also, I did not approve the charge of the wait time, where was the driver waiting for that amount of time, and why didn’t he call me to say he was waiting for 40mins.
First time I have used this service, and just seems really dodgy that you just charge the client without actually speaking to the client first, also waiting so long after the job to charge the client instead of receiving some kind of notification earlier that the charge may come.
I would like a response ASAP with regards to this.

P.S. I have pdf copies on of the initial tax invoice & then email we received re the additional charge. It is false advertising to charge additional fees weeks after the date for something that you were told would only be a certain fee.
Desired outcome: I would like the additional charge refunded, with a response & an apology - I contacted Transdirect as I was informed to do, but have yet to have any response or apology since the 4/10.
Package not picked up
I booked a parcel pick up with Transdirect (using Aramax) on the 16th of September to be picked up on the following Monday. They did not show. I rang them Monday night and rebooked for Tuesday. Again no show. I rang and rebooked for Wednesday, They apologized and assured me of a Wednesday pick up "locked in" they said. No show. I rebooked for Friday with Thursday being a public Holiday. Again no show.
Today, 26th of September I cancelled with Transdirect and asked for my refund, we'll see how long that takes to receive. I had the same issues with Couriers Please in the past, which is why I chose not to go with them this time.
All their adds tell you how professional they are. I do not know how these couriers can stay in business. I will not use again.

Transdirect overcharged excessively and refused investigation.
I booked shipments via Transdirect for 4 cartons and missed out 2 cartons of roughly the same size. When the driver turned up, the 6 cartons was collected. I was originally charged just over $100 and then Transdirect charged me another over $240 just for the 2 extra cartons, bringing the total to over $340, triple the original charges. The two underdeclared cartons was scanned through by Transdirect partners as 120x120x40cm (each carton) although the actual dimension was just 48x37x29cm each. They also claimed that the total weight for all 6 cartons is 459kg although the actual weight is less than 150kg.
I contacted Transdirect which took them 3 weeks to look into the transaction and then they requested an image of a measuring tape next to the underdeclared cartons. I do not have the image but I have an image of all 6 cartons filling up just one level on a regular sized pallet (120x120cm). They said my image is not sufficient and they refused investigation.
I suspect Transdirect partners loaded the carton each on an empty pallet and scanned it through as a full pallet dimension hence the 120x120cm exactly like a regular sized pallet
Desired outcome: Refund the overcharged amount of roughly $210.

I booked and received confirmation of my booking for an order to be collected on the 12/1. After not being able to leave home or work all day no courier arrived. I received no communication about this and called the Transdirect line to be told "we don't actually know when couriers are are out for delivery and that there is no way for them to get in touch with their couriers", which is either a lie or evidence of an extremely flawed business model. I was instructed to rebook and call again the day of to make sure someone is assigned to my delivery, which forgive me if Im wrong is not my responsibility at all as the consumer. Not to mention the 2 days of wages I lose from waiting around all day for a courier who may or may not arrive. On August 30, 2021, I called Transdirect and arranged for a pickup of an item from Melb to Syd on Consignment Number: AOE6898491Q. When I called Transdirect, I provided my exact requirements for pick up and delivery stating these were residential addresses, they quoted it at $81.27 and it was confirmed by the operator. I booked and paid then proceeded on that basis. Then a few days later received the item as expected.
Then on Oct 21, 2021, 8 weeks later, I received an email stating that Transdirect had further charged me and debited my PayPal account $166.64 because the item was delivered to a residential address. I don't understand how or why the additional charge was made given that I had previously provided the correct details to Transdirect via their operator and the quote was verified by them. Also, the fact that the additional charge of $166.64 was debited without warning nor my authority, is in my opinion a deceitful charge. I have since written emails to Transdirect Invoicing and Admin teams numerous times and have also called their Customer Service team asking nicely for the additional/incorrect charge to be refunded, without an adequate response or proper acknowledgement of my complaint.
Desired outcome: I am disputing the additional charge of $166.64 made on 21st October 2021 and want this unauthorised charge credited/refunded to me asap.

Small business owner trying to get by during the covid. Have turned to your service for fast and effective delivery but my packages are still sitting at the dock not going anywhere. When I emailed about my tracking I received an email stating ‘if your package isn't there by 5pm on the 31/08/21 we will get In contact with the courier which you refused to do. When I rang the following day I spoke to the rudest customer service representative I have ever come across called ‘SYLVIA' in which she just kept repeating ‘there's nothing I can do I will tell them to put it on board' basically shutting me down and telling me lies over the phone. I have the recorded conversation as evidence as to the tone/ approach she had towards a ‘paying customer' seeking information in regards to a packet that should've been delivered already. I have had to refund multiple customers because of YOUR [censored] UP.
I am absolutely disgusted in the service I have received and have taken this matter further and made an official complaint to Fair Trading NSW under the act of FRAUD and FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. I plan of sewing your company for the remainder of my business delivery expenses as I am no longer able to deliver as you do not stick to your valid delivery dates.

Ordered part from city wreckers Melbourne Vic 17/08/21 told the people at city wreckers I need the part asap as I was going to the red center nuts that is held on the 3/9/21 paid $85 to trans direct to deliver to the NT. Tried to track item with ref number didn't work spoke to customer help line (trans direct) was told it would not be delivered till the 10/9/21 (22 days) that with the Covid issues that there are delays, so I asked why after paying $85 is it is still taking 22 days they then went on to blame city wreckers for the problem. As far as I am concerned trans direct is to blame for me not going to the center nuts with my vehicle 22 days from Melbourne to the NT is a joke, I could have ridden a camel there and back in that time and saved $85 thanks to know thing...

Overcharged for freight - carriers measurements of my package very incorrect
I was charged and additional $180+ for the package I freighted out as the carrier supposedly re-measured my package and found it to be an extra metre in width. My package is a dance pole in two parts packaged side by side so is effectively a long and thin package with no possibility of it being over 30cm on width. I have sent images of what was inside my package, offered to supply exact measurements for every single part that was inside and asked if proof of measurement from the carrier company can be sent through but have got no where. I unfortunately did not think to take a photo of my package next to a ruler as my own proof as I was certain of my own measurements and that is the only way they have said they will pursue the issue with the carrier. I have been in contact with the receiver of the package and know for sure that item arrived in tact and exactly as I packaged it so again could not have possibly measured over one metre in width. The freight person who picked up the package would not have physically been able to lift the package if it was 131cm x 121cm…

We have been using the services of your company for the last 7 to 8 years. It is disappointing that none of our products (referring to bookings made for Couriers Please) have been picked up. More disappointing is that none of the staff at Transdirect seems to organise pickup of our products from our warehouse despite repeated rebooking. We have recently made 3 bookings: CPWASP25000237497; CPWASP25000237344; CPWAVP25000085932, none of which have been picked up

Item is a bath chair lifter for disabled. paid via Paypal 24/5 $795. Courier was Couriers Please who passed on consignment to Transdirect who, according to the seller, then "lost" the item. Tracking number is CPWAGSBK000245534. I cannot get in contact with TransDirect despite trying a number of times. A recorded message uses the excuse of the lockdown to justify inability to answer the phone. The item comes from Sydney and I am in Barham, NSW, so a very weak excuse. According to tracking the item was last heard of on 28/5.

I have booked 9 cartoons of size on 03 May 2021 of size
L43, W41, H60 CM. total weight is 225.
The reference number is 0TRA14014488395. Just yesterday they charged me for tail gate charges $75, and said if driver feel unsafe he can use tail gate, but i asked him to use mobile trolley, after discussion on email they agree to refund my money and just today they mentioned that my total weight was 350 kg, which is totally impossible. Northline did not mentioned on the reference when i even picked, it has been mentioned if that is the case.
They deduct another $22 for my account for this purpose, please help me in this matter.

Lets say ---- EVERYTHING from th emoment they picked up.
We sent some items with Couriers Please using Transdirect.
When the Couriers Please tracking page updated to say items were damaged we contacted Transdirect - to ask what was going on.
Their response was simply they 'can not track every parcel.'
So we asked for our items back.
Days later Transdirect get back in contact saying the items have been disposed of. NOT RETURNED AS REQUESTED
NOR ANY EVIDENCE JUST TAKE THEIR WORD the items were damaged and disposed of, and they will not pay out for the items under insurance.
Nor will they provide any evidence for additional insurance policy cover payout.
Police report has been lodged because in every other instance this is theft.
You would be better of giving your parcel to the guy hanging out the back of the pub! Wouldn't waste your time filling out paperwork to be told your parcel is gone.
Desired outcome: They as a company fold and go away to stop ripping people off!
