Ulta Beauty store hours & poor customer service

I called 20 minutes before leaving my home to check to see if they had a product that I needed in store. The worker responded that they did. I arrived to ulta at 8:55pm and the doors were locked. I knocked on the door and the employees just looked back at me and ignored me, there were other workers that were hiding in the back that seen us as well. I called the store to notify them that I was the one who called earlier about a product and also to inform them that they closed 5 minutes early. The manager came out and let us in. The mananger notified us with an attitude that they were closing down there registers and that we needed to get what we were getting and go. I got my products and they told me that there was a limit to 2 products only. Prior to coming to ulta in Manteca I went to ulta in Tracy and there was no limit. I dont know if the policies are different for each store but I was told that with an attitude. As I was checking out, my purchase wasn't going through. The workers kept saying that there card machines weren't working. I don't carry cash on me for safety reasons and the manager notified me that I could only pay in cash. They closed 5 minutes early and they wouldn't open up another register for me to pay. The manager also told me that I should check my bank to see if I have funds. Luckily I found cash and was able to make my purchase. All of the ulta employees had bad customer service and I do not appreciate the way I was treated.

Ulta Beauty the store product samples are a mess and ruined my coat & scarf while trying to sample test for the correct color

The store product samples are a mess and ruined my coat & scarf while trying to sample test for the correct color . I have placed two calls in 1st to district manager and 2nd to regional manager about this situation and after a week no call back from anyone. I am disappointed that this store does not value their customers enough to respect them and return my calls. I shouldn't be surprised by the level of rude and disgusting customer service you receive in the stores. I guess they don't want my money and I will have to shop sephora, MAC and others instead.

Ulta Beauty customer service

Mission Valley Ulta.
I returned a bottle of perfume I has received for my birthday, still in ULTA wrap, however unaccompanied by receipt.
I was told they would accept the return and that I would get the lowest selling price.
Having been the newest fragrance by Marc Jacobs, I didn't think that it would be marked down. The manager herself took $20.01 off the current price that it scanned at.
I'm not sure if that is even legal to do but intend on finding out.
I will stick to Sephora.

Ulta Beauty earn points to wrong account

On January 28th 2017 at 4:41 pm I bought 212 dollars worth of makeup items. When I get home I checked my points on my app and I found that my points did not get applied to my account but another account. I was told on customer care email to return the items to get the correct points back but I gave the makeup items as a gift. What can be done to fix this situation. I am really disappointed with how I am told to fix the problem that I did not create.

Ulta Beauty hair

I'm a divorcee alone no kids. Right before Christmas I made an appointment to have my hair cut, colored with three colors, and styled as a Christmas present to myself. I took a pic in of the exact style and color I wanted. I also asked how long it would take because due to health issues i cant sit in those chairs long. She said it shouldn't be over two hours long.

Almost 5 hours later I walked out with everything I had asked for NOT met at all! I had one color more of a i call strawberry blond not blond blond. I wanted some layers I got non. I wanted my hair to flip back she flipped it forward. I asked that it be rounded at the bottom that I hate hair cut into a "V" at the ends. Wanna guess that outcome? I got a V!

I explained to her that I'm being stalked and tormented by my ex husband and his cronies before she ever started. Now I know she blatantly (because of doing so many things) did everything she did on purpose. I asked for my money back they didn't want to do that but said to give them another chance then if I weren't pleased they would give it back. I decided and reset. Something came up that I couldn't make it and in the meantime I'm very concerned about going back because of the blatant actions. When I called back the girl on duty then said there was a 21 day window or some such and it had been 26 days, I said I was told of no window! This is sad that a company i "thought" to be as good as yours has done such and would hire such people!

Ulta Beauty gift card

On Dec 7 2016 I purchased a $150.00 gift card as a Christmas gift for a family member. Unfortunately, on Christmas Day after opening gifts, I realized the gift card was among them.
On Dec 26 2016 I went in to the local Ulta store and the manager there contacted customer care on my behalf and explained the situation to an employee who I then spoke with. During that call I spoke withRobin and was told that there would be a 72 hour delay to be sure no activity had been taken on the lost cardbefore a replacement gift card would be mailed to me. I was told I would receive an email when the replacement was mailed. Having heard nothing, I called customer service on Jan 4 2017 and spoke with Rachel who told me that the replacement card was mailed to me on Jan 2 2017.
On Jan 9 2017. Still having received no replacement card, I again called customer care and after being told by Mike that the replacement card was mailed out on Jan 7 2017 a Saturday!), I then asked to speak with a supervisor. As obviouslyI was receiving conflicting information regarding the date a replacement was mailed. After an 18 minute hold, Mike retuned on the line and said I was being transferred to a supervisor. Instead, I listened to a recording asking me if I was satisfied with the result of my employee interaction, if yes, press 1, if no, press 2. I didn't respond, assuming I would then reach a supervisor. No, the recording thanked me for my response and the call was disconnected.
I immediately called back, again requesting to speak with a supervisor and after 11 minutes on hold, spoke with Colinda, who identified herself as a supervisor who told me that a replacement card had not even been REQUESTED until Jan 2 2017, let alone mailed, but that the replacement had indeed been mailed to me on SATURDAY Jan 7 2017.
At this time I'm not sure if I have been dealing with extremely incompetent customer service staff members or getting a runaround. (A polite way of saying I am possibly being lied to!).
I will say that I am doubtful that a replacement gift card will be received at all.
In all fairness, if I do receive the replacement. I will be sure to revisit this site to indicate that outcome.
Extremely disappointed at my experience with Ulta.

Ulta Beauty please don't order anything!

I bought several items from Ulta and when I received my order one item was missing. Customer service rep said it was no longer in stock and that they were in contact with manufacturer. They said they were not able to refund me and promised I'll get the missing item soon and they also promised me a discount on my next order. That was way too good to be true. Missing item never arrived and I can't actually say anything about the discount offer. I'm afraid to order from this site and will never do that. Please don't order anything!

On 12/19/16 I went to Ulta Beauty in South Gate Ca. Alazea plaza after waiting over 20 min in line to pay- only one cashier available at 1:40 pm. Ulta Beauty cedar rapids iowa store

My apologies for using this forum...please forward to the corporate office.
My daughters and I frequently shop at Ulta...we were in Schaumberg, Illinois last weekend and had a great experience.
Today, in CR, IA, our local store, we had a terrible time. The sales folks in the store were great but checkout personnel were rushed, rude and nasty. I have previously bought birthday and Christmas gifts for my wife, daughters, and office personnel at Ulta because of the excellent service at your stores. I have received Perricone samples from several of your stores because of the amount of our purchase.
Additionally, I have puchased 500 shares of ULTA in the $236/share range. This may be liquidated Mon.
I have some thoughts on how to improve...appreciate your time!

Ulta Beauty Customer service

I ordered some stuff online and paid with a gift card. I was $4.75 over so I paid the difference on another card as the site directed. They billed my card for the whole order in error. I sent an email to customer service explaining this and their response was that I should have been more careful. So, I called customer service and was put on hold 3 times. When the girl came back for the fourth time I told her to cancel the order. She said she couldn't cancel orders. I told her to apply the gift card then. She couldn't do that either. So since ulta's solution was to do nothing I informed her that I would call the bank and cancel the payment and if ulta so chose to send the order I would consider it a gift from them or they could issue a call tag for ups to come pick it back up. But, as much as ulta would like to keep my money I would not allow them to choose that option. Customer service options are never to do nothing.

Ulta Beauty owed money

I worked for Ulta for 4 yr.I am no longer with the company but they owe me money for training & travel. They have come up with every reason they can think of & that's not ok. Now the district manager Cathey Lenz is telling me thur text messages that its been over 90 days & I wouldn't get the money that I'm owed. I drove 2 hrs back & forth in bad weather with out saying a word. I know that other mangers who are not there any more got their money Because I have seen the checks ! So why am I being treated this way! Just pay me & let me move on! The worst managers I ever had to work with! I'm so happy at my new job! What a difference!

Ulta Beauty total scam!

Ulta is a total scam website! I made and order and accidentally made a mistake so my address was incorrect. I immediately called customer service and told them about the mistake, but they refused to change anything because my order was already pending. I told them that I'm shopping online for years and I know that it is still possible to make changes, but they refused. Then I contacted PayPal and their rep called Ulta and tried to resolve the situation, but Ulta just disconnected. Then I called again and they told that we can discuss this without PayPal! I said that I trust PayPal and I need their protection. But they refused to communicate with me if I'll continue to use PayPal help! What a scam! So they never changed my address and I never received my order and have no idea where it was delivered!

Ulta Beauty cancelling an order

I browsed through the website last night and ordered $43 worth of things. This morning, I regret the order so I called in to see if it could be cancelled before it shipped. Turns out, they don't have a system that lets them do that! So now I have to wait until my product gets here then return it back manually. Not only that, but when I asked to speak to the manager, she hung up on me! Very rude and awful customer service.

This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! No one cares about you! They don’t know what they are doing! I canceled and order! Never got my refund! Then they tell me to give them my bank statement I send it! I heard nothing! Then I asked to speak to a manager and never got a call back! Then I call another week later they said they can’t find anything about my order and that I got my refund! I still never got it ! They stole money from me! I’m soo over this! Do not order them cancel they will rob you! 0/5 stars

I had just moved and accidentally shipped things to my last house. Within 30 seconds of ordering I called immediately (because I had made this mistake the night before and had to have my mom(who Is a lot more strongman willed than I am) argue until they refunded my gift card because the customer service was awful and not listening to me, I knew I needed to call ASAP) and they said they could not cancel it but would try however there were no guarantees. THIRTY SECONDS AND THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES?! I never got the package from the forwarded mail and never got a refund. Totally disappointed that they could not 1. Cancel an order made within a minute and 2. That the customer service was particularly unhelpful. I love ULTA in stores but there needs to be a better system going online. Let me cancel my order from the app within a certain amount of time or be able to cancel the order when called. I know for a fact that there is not someone with my order in a package within 30 seconds of me ordering so why it cannot be canceled is a MYSTERY to me. It’s practically a scam and disgusting. They have my money and I don’t have my products. It’s been months.
