I recently visited the secrets resort in puerto vallarta. While doing the time share presentation we had our reservations about joining uvc, but the sales associate showed us the benefits of rci and that we would be getting 4 free weeks at just the exchange fee of $249, plus 1 free week at zoetry (a top notch am resort) with our membership. We looked through the rci website and saw some pretty great resorts, what they didn't tell us was that our free weeks could only be used at maybe 1/3 of those, all of which of course are crappy. The 249 "exchange fee" does not include additional resort fees, that almost all the resorts charge so the cost ends up being almost what you would pay anyways! After finding this out I then called and questioned about my "free zoetry week" only to find out that when I did test it by booking of a random week to see what I would be charged, it came out to $3k! My free week that I would earn after I paid my balance would cost me 3k lol! Literally every part of this membership that sold me was a complete lie! The worst part was that we put 2k down that we were planning on using for our family vacation 6 weeks later, and the resort we had planned on staying at was on the rci website. So we got sold on the "hey put the 2k down and you can use one of your weeks!' well our weeks were not deposited in time to use, and even when it was finally put into our account to use, the final cost if we had was still 1k! Not the 249 exchange. We got totally used all the way around. I cried for days after this. I don't know if they understand how terrible this is for people on a limited budget who plan for these vacations and save for them, to then use it against someone like they will save money and get what they actually promise in their presentations. I'm planning on putting a class action lawsuit against them if anyone would like to join please let me know!

HI
I am from Illinois and would be very interested in supporting a class action lawsuit. I was sold a product/service under false pretense, I was told the "free week: was available for immediate use and would waive the black out dates in exchange for singing up with them. Long story short, I just got off the line with Fabiola Enriquez Fenriquez@unlimitedvc.com from the member quality assurance department and she indeed gloated about being protected by the laws of Panama for a company doing business in Mexico and owned by Hyatt which holds head quarters in Chicago. She referred me to her legal team as she claimed she didn't have a superior or manager above her. Arbitrationmanager@unlimitedvc.com. I was told to be released from the contract they would need 50% of the value of the contract to be released. So imagine if you fell for their 100k, 50k, 25k, package, then you would owe them 50% of those amounts. These people scam you into buying something that is not true and then charge you extra just to be released. When you call them out on their unethical practices and lies they get very defensive and threaten you with credit agencies going after you credit.
If any one does have an active lawsuit or in the works of creating one I would like to speak to you as this practice will continue until someone does anything about it. I do have her on recording specifically saying that they did offer the free week before but then took it away as people caught on to their games.

We were given misinformation, therefore contract fraud. Not to mention, we haven't even gone to a resort, but they lied about other travel benefits. Evelyn (apparently the only person in UVC who can provide cancellation information re-cancellation) called to tell us we can end the contract for 50% of the total cost. The tens of thousands of dollars paid for impression membership to date and it was our issue to go to court in Panama.
I would like to join the class action lawsuit as they are refusing to cancel my contract. Please reach out at yrenteri@gmail.com
I would also like to join the class action suit. UVC is the absolute worst!
I would very much like to join the class action lawsuit against UVC. Here is one of many email response my wife and I have sent UVC. They are legal scammers, and they need to be stopped.
We have been dealing with Alexander Escalante in the Members Quality Assurance. Here is a response from him.
While I respect your opinion in regards to UVC, the is fully aware of the comments referenced in your message and as with any other company, many of those comments come from competitors, those experiencing buyer’s remorse, or even those who elected to sign an agreement without fully understanding the terms and conditions. Each case is treated individually as the circumstances must be reviewed internally to provide the most accurate approach to resolution. Often times, these comments are a simple attempt at damaging the good name and reputation of UVC, with the intent to circumvent agreed upon terms and conditions in the commentor’s favor.
It is unfortunate to encounter individuals such as yourself who, during our communication, have displayed a severe lack of legal knowledge, which has hindered our ability to engage in a constructive conversation and reach a potential resolution.
I understand that you may need repeated clarification on this matter as you continue to insist on the same issue, despite having been provided with this information multiple times. To address the cancellation of your membership, please refer to ARTICLE FIFTEENTH. EARLY TERMINATION. Which stipulates that UVC will be entitled to compensation that is equal to the 50% of the total price set on the cover page. Legally speaking, this will be the only way to end the contractual agreement with the club
In the event that you decide to dispute the charges, UVC will promptly respond by providing a copy of the executed agreement. This will serve as evidence of the legitimacy and enforceability of our contract. If the dispute is resolved in favor of UVC, you will be held accountable for the financial obligations outlined in the contract.
We suggest that you reconsider your position and we look forward to your final response:
• Make the payment to proceed with the early termination.
• Continue with your monthly payments until you reach 50% to reevaluate the situation later.
If you choose option 2 please reply to this email with: I will continue with my payments as they are.
Without further ado, kind regards!
Break…
My wife’s response……
These comments are not from competitors.. They are from people like us who were tricked into signing a contract that they were not fully informed about. That's not "buyer's remorse," that's fraud. We were taken advantage of, bribed by a free spa service, given alcohol while we were supposed to be learning about the offer, and deceived by salespeople who withheld information for their own financial gain. We asked for time to think about it, and they said our offer would expire in the morning. Nobody ever told us we were unable to cancel after 5 days. Nobody explained the cancellation policy as they were legally obligated to. Nobody gave us a printed copy of the contract. They had us electronically sign a few pages, and then sent us a 50 page PDF to our cell phones. We trusted that all information was provided to us, we did not spend the rest of our vacation reviewing the contract from our cellphones, and by the time we got home from vacation our 5-day cancellation period was over anyway. Nobody helped us set up our account and we did not use it once.
We do not need repeated clarification, and our "lack of legal knowledge" has not hindered our ability to have a constructive conversation. You have not offered us any potential resolution other than the choice to pay now or pay later. That is not acceptable to us. The wording in the contract is extremely misleading and we are unhappy. Article 15 says that we have 5 days to cancel for a full refund, and it says that the mediator is entitled to 50% IF WE DEFAULT ON ANY PAYMENT OBLIGATION. Nothing here says that we are obligated to pay 50% of the contract in order to cancel it. But you not canceling the contract is forcing us to default on payment, unless we keep paying.
Your condescending words are extremely unprofessional for a "members quality assurance" specialist. I suggest that your team is more persistent with helping members get their account set up and offering assistance to utilize the benefits, rather than the persistence in collecting our money when we ask for help. If you are looking to have a constructive conversation then please offer another solution that does not involve us continue to give you money for something that we have never used.
Regards,
Break….
I would help pay to have this company terminated.
Add me to the class action lawsuits please.

I had the same issue. UVC is a big, big scan. The worst mistake ever.
We had the exact issue. It's all a scam. My husband has gone twice and daughter once and neither one were granated any sunclub stuff even though we paid our dues. BIG BIUNCH OF LIARS! Would love to be part if a class action suit if there is one open and ongoing.
We have been taken big time by this company. We feel trapped and could have paid for 10 vacations with the money we have paid I to this useless “club”. I’m in for any class action suit.
I want to join any class action there is against unlimited vacation club. This is a scam! I have got nothing except having to pay more and more money.
January 2023, caught by these liliars, offering a membership just like a bjs club to be allow to use their property...couldn't even enjoy my limited getaway Vacay with stupid tour, they get you exhausted and a totalled waisted time I didn't enjoy with my kids. The next two days were spent disputing and trying to cancel their bogus charges that weren't explain clearly from the beginning...only once it's too late u get their true colors. Now battleling with credit bureaus to take the mark of my credit.what a living Vacay-Hell..They should be punished
I will happily join a class action lawsuit.
Unlimited Vacation Club is a complete fraud. Our experiences with them on our trip promised a guaranteed locked in price, value like you could not believe. Even our cruise credits that we got from the package through U lifestyle wasn't as they had proposed it would be. They gave us 1500$ for the first two years towards cruises which was stated that they could be cashed out for a single cruise. This was a complete lie, U lifestyle told me we could only use 400$ of the 1500$ for the cruise leaving it at a whopping 3100$ left to pay out of pocket(dollars in American and not including flights). The pricing is literally no better than going to a travel agent.
Extremely unsatisfied and if a suit comes out of this I would gladly go into it. 14000$ into it and just found out its complete BS.
Yours truly, yet another unsatisfied customer.
Justin Winter.
PS I'd love my money back.
