An item that was not delivered to me
I ordered an item of clothing on 27th December 2022. I still have not received it. When I track it it says delivered on 31st with inpost. Then it says out for delivery again on 3rd January 2023, it now says delivered but I still do not have it. Vinted asked inpost where it is and inpost say it’s delivered but they have no proof of this, no scans of where it was last scanned. It could of been delivered anywhere. Vinted say because it was delivered I can not get a refund. I payed buyer protection and have ended up with no item and out of pocket. The tracking number is CS0000009948941. The price that I paid altogether is £7.37. The item was a lace chiffon Dorothy Perkins black ladies top size 16. I am very upset about the whole situation

Vinted charge both seller and buyer a protection fee. But when an issue appears, they refuse any help. I have had no parcel after 20 days of waiting. I was told on the 24th to wait one more day? That was Xmas so no delivery. Messaged on27th and told to wait one more day, same on the 28th. Again today and todays message is 48hrs? It is now way over due but they refuse to help. I have to raise the issue is what is the money for protection used for. You are not helping the seller and hide behind automated messages. When I question your policy and refer you to your own t & c's section 5.5, you stop replying? On doing some research, this is a very comnon thread. Little or no help from Vinted

I have an issue with an order and every time I contact your team via the vinted app they come back to me with what is clearly an automated reply.
I purchase an item via vinted which didn’t arrive. I received a message via Facebook where someone had received my item even though the QR code the buyer printed had my name on. However, it would seem that when the courier printed the address label it had her details. I don’t know if this was an issue with vinted or the courier but either way I have paid for an item that I haven’t received.
I clicked on the “I have an issue” option at least twice and detailed this problem but no one came back to me. I have now tried raising an issue separately and am being told that it is too late to raise an issue and I should have clicked “I have an issue”. I’ve explained that I did and keep getting the most infuriatingly patronising messages back.
All I ask is that a human being responds to me bearing in mind the facts. Please see attached photos that the women sent me who has received the dress.
The seller says she has also raised issues but hasn’t heard back and that she had one of her items returned but it turned out to be something that she didn’t sell 🤷🏻♀️ something strange has happened and it is not my fault which is why I am now complaining and asking for something to be done.
At the least I want a full refund.

QR code did not work that was provided, now down a coat and £50
Hello, I'm really hoping you can help me.
I recently sold a Levi's denim teddy lined coat worth £100 on vinted for £50, I stayed in contact with the customer and agreed to set this sent before Christmas as she wanted to gift it to someone and to be honest I needed the money for presents myself.
I went to the shop twice, one day and the QR code wouldn't work and the next day this still didn't work so I decided to print the label through the Evri postal desk in the shop. I did not realise that this then was going to cost me month but I didn't realise there was any other way. So I paid for postage with the same courier that the customer had paid for themselves.
I sent the tracking code I got from the shop and the customer thanked me, I then checked the account a few days later and the parcel showed as delivered on the tracking order. I messaged the customer but no reply. This was not showing updated on the app at all (I assumed because of the faulty QR code.
When I wrote to Vinted they seemed very reluctant to help and said they cant get "involved" as I didn't use their QR code. Even though the automated response was "is this about your QR code as we are working on fixing this".
After a lengthy too and from on the live chat this resulted in no help. I was advised the customer would have to return the coat (which they will not reply) they will get a refund... even though they have the coat. This leave me with no coat or money and very stressed out as £55 down before Christmas. The customer will not reply to me at all even after explaining the scenario.
Desired outcome: Please get my money sent to me the £50 for the coat, i would like the refund for sending the parcel too even though the customer paid for this also.
We have had the exact same issue. We are reporting to the ombudsman and trading standards. I would suggest you do the same as the more people that raise this concern, the more likely it is to be acted upon. They're an awful company to deal with and live in hope that people will just give up complaining.

Customer service and failing to help seller
Vinted has awful customer service. I sold some brand new trainers to a buyer and offered Royal Mail posting. Vinted automatically offer UPS which I dont use and you cant remove it or you couldnt at the time I sold the trainers. I posted them with Royal Mail and had a tracking number. Within days, Vinted cancelled the ordered saying they have not been delievered when I had proof they had. The buyet contacted me asking about the trainers and I gave her the tracking number and proof of delivery. I asked Vinted for help as the buyer rececived a refund even though they got their purchase. Vinted told me it was because I did not use UPS which the buyer asked for and I explained I used Royal Mail, had a tracking number and proof of delivery which I forwarded onto Vinted. They replied saying all I can do is contact the buyer, relist the trainers and hope the buyer purchases the trainers again so I would get my payment. I then asked what to do if the buyer ignores my messages and listing. Vinted continued to say it was my fault using UPS and to contact the buyer. Yet again I told Vinted that I have done what they have told me to do but the buyer has not responded to my messages. Vinted yet again said it was my fault I did not use UPS even though I had proof off Royal Mail and a tracking number that these have been delivered to the buyer. I asked one last time for the help as to ask what to do if I dont get a response from the buyer, yet again Vinted blamed me and refused to help and now they have blocked my email and not responding to me. Now I am out of pocket and without trainers as the buyer has not returned the trainers and Vinted has refused to help me

I sent expensive boots with Vinted Qr code. it went to the wrong address and ive lost them .They have refunded the buyer as said the qr ref didnt match and had no proof id posted. I have the receipt from the shop who printed the label. all i get is ' final Decision' and now they have deleted the thread.

I would like a refund for my item that I do not have and I would like a formal apology from vinted
I ordered an item on Vinted which was supposed to be delivered to my allocated store by Yodel Collect+. I received an email with a collect code to go and collect my item and when I went to the store my item was not there! I have frequently visited the store, which is a very small store in a village, and of which I know the manager and he has checked for this parcel several times, with a description of what it was sent in and my full name, address and even the sellers name and it is not there. Vinted know of my complaint and emailed me saying to go back and check and if it wasn’t there contact them within 48 hours otherwise they would release the funds. I did this and contacted them back within 14 hours (of which I have all the emails between myself and Vinted and the seller and Ian, the store manager has been more than willing to be contacted in regards to this) and within this 14 hour window my seller informed me that Vinted had Released the funds to the seller even though the issue has not been resolved and is still ongoing and have finalised the purchase so I still have no item and have lost my money. I am furious with Vinted and find their customer service appalling.

I sold 2 designer handbags and posted on the 12/11/2022 with Evri.
The parcel status showed not delivered and the buyer claimed she never received the package, complained and vinted refunded her money. However Evri have now provided proof of delivery on the 23 November at 1338hrs. When I sent this proof to the buyer she continued to deny she had received the package.
I have contacted vinted many times and reported this and all I get is an automated response saying they are looking into it. I have lost my handbags and have no payment, it seems the buyer has both.
Desired outcome: I would like payment for the items that have been delivered to the buyer who clearly has them.

The seller was blocked
The seller was blocked after i ordered Something. I couldnt get in touch with him anymore after, recieve any information about the package but the money left my account. What's next now? I recieve a refund or an answer r Something because i dont know how it works and what should i do next. I've ordered and payed in 08.12 and after i didnt received any answers
This is exactly what happened to me. I ordered some boots. The seller said they were using Evri but it didn't produce the usual evri communications. I then got a message saying the item had been delivered on the Friday (but I got the message on the Saturday (Christmas Eve). Without me ever receiving or saying I had received they marked it as received. They won't give me my money back even though the seller is blocked.

I’ve been locked out my account and I’ve emailed many times and tried the ‘ forgot password’ option when I know my password already. Got a weird email back asking for my address, bank details and utility bills and a picture of my bank card front and back ?! So it sounds like they are trying to Scam me. I have money on the account that won’t let me withdraw and people messaging me asking to send their parcels out

No access to my account after phishing attack
My account got hacked and I immediately send Vinted a mail informing them about this. They blocked my account and asked me to provide a document to prove my name and adress. It's all an automatic answer process, not an individual one. I provided the document and my account is still blocked after 3 weeks!
I have orders and money pending in the system and now it all seems to be gone forever. Get some personal employees and not just some automatic answer robots who can't help with individual problems.

Vinted sold hunter nearly new wellies
I sold a pair of hardly used hunter wellies high gloss as to tight on my calves. I had a message back from the buyer to say they were old muddy and not ones in picture . These were perfect but send back if not happy I have just received the wellies they are not the original ones I sent covered in mud. Umm wer damp mud. And rusty buckle worn out label. And not so hogliss . I am extremely angry that this has happened. And put me off selling on vinted again I have arranged wellie sent back to me.

I bought a wedding dress in vinted and the item never arrived I don't know how the transaction actualize to order complete when in the tracking number they clearly can see the item is not been delivered I been in contact with Evri and they admitted they don't been able to delivery the parcel but I still ending up losing my money with not right to refund. I will contact traders standards tomorrow because this it is not fair

Buyer claiming I'd sent her a ripped dress
I recently sold a dress I'd worn once which remained in perfect condition. I'd listed all the details accurately on Vinted. A buyer bought the item. I checked it over, wrapped it in tissue paper and double-parked it for safe travels. The buyer received the item and clearly tried it on, ripped it across 5inches and sent it back saying not as described... When I asked what was wrong she said it was ripped. She had clearly ripped it as it was not like that when it left my house. I sent Vinted numerous pictures of the item before (how it was listed, with no hole) and after (clear visible hole), in the exact same hanging position. The buyer was smug and spiteful to say this and it is not fair on honest sellers who have no reason to lie. Now I am left with a ripped dress I can no longer sell and without the money I originally sold this for. Vinted there are so many complaints like this you need to protect the seller's. There is buyer protection insurance but nothing for sellers? Change your policies! And refund what is rightly mine I am not asking for more than what is owed to me

Payment not received for rrp 100 item
Item was shipped via signed for delivery to buyer as it was a costly item.
Item was received by the buyer on saturday 3rd December 2022 as signed for and recorded by Royal Mail. (I have proof from Royal Mail)
Messaged seller to confirm this as tracking does not update on vinted for Royal Mail atleast in my case. Buyer confirmed they received the item in messages in the vinted app yesterday(5/12/2022) I also have these messages.
I have messaged vinted twice about this as now the buyer will not reply to my requests to press “everything is okay”
I have received no further assistance from vinted in receiving my payment for the item. The only advice is that I have to wait untill the 28th December where it MIGHT automatically assume delivery. However I have no reassurance about this.
All vinted simply need to do is confirm delivery with the documentation I can supply. And then I can receive my payments.
I can’t message vinted any longer as I don’t want my account to be blocked.
I’m really unhappy with the level of service and response and fear my item will be kept with no payments.

buyer made false allegations about a brand new pair of jeans she damaged them
i sold three items new some with tags buyer stained the jeans and said they smell and had stains she showed one stain then the following produced about 10 more the jeans werent stained i have no reason to sell substandard clothes my clothes are geniune high quality i have complained but vinted are not listening they offered 48 hours to resolve complaint i wanted to know where i stand if i accepted the order back because who was going to refund/compensate me they arent listening and its causing me a lot stress and tension i want justice they cannot behave like this the buyer has all the support and seller has nothing

I had the exact same experience recently. Someone bought a dress in perfect condition, clearly tried it on and ripped it and claimed I'd sent it like that and vinted issues a refund. Something has to be done about these buyers it's ruining honest sellers like us!
None delivery of item

I went on holiday on Friday I checked my emails and saw a parcel had been delivered to my address on Saturday lunchtime My neighbour who had walked past on her way home text me to say that the parcel was in full sight on my doorstep The couriers photo showed nothing of the safe place When I returned home on Sunday afternoon No parcel to be seen or found did the usual asked around the parcel gone
Vinted actually told me that I did not hit the button on the right date Yes I did I kept them in the loop as well as the seller

Upshot they Vinted just concluded and paid the seller

Did not receive the money I withdrew from my Vinted Balance.
I withdrew £135.00 from my Vinted balance from 4 items I had sold. The money never reached my Chanse Bank as they refuse to accept international bank payments, so the money would be returned to Vinted bank account. I have tried since September to resolve this matter and I myself have proved numerous times through bank statements and also a letter from Chase Bank proving this case. But they still say they are investigating this matter and I am now further forward with getting my money.

I sold some makeup on Vinted. I sent a lot of make up. The buyer said one item got damaged so vinted have told her she can keep all of the items. The rest are in perfect new condition. I asked for the other items to be refunded but they have just closed my claim and the buyer is not sending them back. I offered to pay the postage for the other items. Vinted are not helping me.
