Vinted Item stolen from parcel. No refund

I've been selling on Vinted for fee years now. 100% 5*. Lately I've sold glasses. Female Prada frames with case, box, cleaning cloth. They were packed properly in a case, box, bubble foil and a tape. Put into mailbag (brand new!) and sent. Glasses were stolen from the box, bag ripped and taped by someone who stolen them.

Vinted doesn't want to refund me money as they insist it was MY fault! I've never taken pictures when sending items as this situation never happened before and now Vinted says "no money for you, as you don't have picture, we assume parcel has been packed incorrctly"

Even buyer confirmed that box has not been damaged as Vinted trying to tell me that it was my fault - bag was simply ripped and item taken off from it. On the bag there is visible tape even on the label.

Vinted Tracking information for goods sent has been deleted

Items posted two packages shipping labels printed out at maccalls Inverness for yodal on the 22/6/2023 and a tracking was created the package s were picked up 23/6/2023 by Menzies I cannot trace any further because it has been deleted by Vinted it could been seen that parcels had started their journey so tracking should of been investigated and if they don’t do it then it should not of been deleted as it my property and my proof of shipping Vinted were informed twice that packages had been sent and that showed on tracking information my item were small value but could of been a high item sale so I thing there is a flaw in the system that removed tracking information when sale cancelled.

Desired outcome: I want refunded and it to be looked into as i t can’t be allowed to take sellers tracking away it belongs to seller

Vinted Delivery not made and refund not provided

I was waiting for a really expensive item and Yodel marked as delivered with a picture of a parcel on my doorstep but it was a different parcel. I submitted pictures of the parcel showing the tracking number was completely different but still, as yodel provided the picture I was not entitled to a refund. They refused to look at or acknowledge the difference in the tracking numbers and Yodel will only respond to Vinted.

Utterly appalling customer service. i will not be buying again

Vinted Every time I make a sell

Every time a sell an item on Vinted they lock me out of my account. They have a protect your account message displayed. You put in your phone number and request a code. The code never comes. I sold two Apple Watches to a customer and of course I was locked out of my account it has been two weeks I am unable to confirm my account details so I can’t get my payout of $245. They aren’t giving me a turnaround time for when they could fix the issue. The Time before that I sold a purse for $20 they locked me out with the verify your phone number and they fixed it right away.

Desired outcome: I want them to fix there issues with the phone verification and we don’t get the code. I want them to send my payout.

Vinted Service

Sold 2 items on vinted as a bundle, one for £3 and one for £7,50! Buyer stated the £3 item arrived damaged as the parcel was with the post office for weeks I tought maybe something did happend with the item so I agreed the buyer can keep the item and reimburse the amount as I gave her a discount on top of the bundle discount so the price came around £2,40. Buyer kept insisting I reimburse her this amount by paypal altough she had raised a dispute with vinted, I informed her I will wait for Vinted to solve the issue as something was a bir off and seemed to be a case of fraud. Vinted did not help at all stating they cant operate partial reimbursements! They cancel the order and took the money for both of the products, once again buyer asked me to send her money by paypal but once she saw she was reimbursed she message me “never mind” and closed the case taking the option to message her back she has never offer payment for the brand new item

If they cant reimburse partially they should not have the bundle option

MASSIVE FAILURE TO PROTECT THEIR…

MASSIVE FAILURE TO PROTECT THEIR CUSTOMERS. I agreed to buy an item and then i realised the item wasnt right for me. I hadn't received the item so contacted the seller + vinted + inpost to confirm this.

I assumed that would be it amd the item would get cancelled or at the worst i could return it back especially as the seller indicated this was an option in earlier conversation BIG MISTAKE.

I received no contact from the seller until 1.43am where they proceeded to send me a number of EXTREMELY threatening and abusive messages. The messages have continued onto the next day where i am being threatened with violence to myself and my property.

The seller has sent so many messages that i have reported this to Vinted who have basically brushed it under the rug and said just block the seller but only when the transaction has been completed/returned.

What kind of advice is that? I am being abused and threatened with violence repeatedly with vile comments being made and all vinted care about is the flipping transaction? Vinted should be ashamed of themselves.

I would have expected the seller to be contacted/warned or even the threat of further action legally or via the police but none of the above.

Seeing as the seller knows my address and is making very serious threats to visit my property i think this needs to be taken alot further.

Happy for Vinted to reply to this review and see what they have to say but i doubt they will.

Vinted Never received and won't don't anything

Purchased a 2 piece set boys ( toddlers) . Item never arrived . Raised with vinted who contacted inpost . Inpost sent them proof of delivery with a photo . Photo shows a white pvc door with number 11 . My door is Aphrosite ( dark grey ) and I live number 25 . Told vinted and sent the proof of my door even though it's shows I live at number 25 on my details . Said that I would need to Raise with inpost. Now my contract is with vinted but I still contacted inpost again sending photo of my door . Inpost said vinted would need to claim from thejm and refund me . ( exactly my thoughts) went back to vinted who won't help saying Inpost have said it was correctly delivered. Clearly it wasn't. Worse company apart from yodal I've dealt with . Customer service none existent. I'm gutted cos I loved vinted before all this but can't risjk purchasing again as lose money if don't receive. No protection whatsoever even though you pay for it .

Desired outcome: Want a full refund plus compensation for all the stress and time I've spent ( a month ) trying to get my money back

Vinted Refund on item never received

I ordered I ordered a parcel from Vinted it apparently arrived at the lockers on 24th of May 2023. But when I went to lockers the com party was empty.

I swiftly contacted Vinted and told them that I had not received the item ad if wasn’t in the locker.

They said they were going to investigation and made me fill out a form to say that I hadn’t received a packet or parcel.

They then said they were contacting in post to verify that no parcel has been received.

However, on the tracking information because I opened the locker, it automatically says that parcel has been delivered regardless if the compartment is empty.

This is all my clear in the form I filled out and vintage and in post

However, Vinted have refused to acknowledge that the parcel which has now been returned to the sender, which I have proof of. They say there is nothing more they can do because the courier company has said it’s been delivered.

I’ve spoken to the courier company, and to in post, we have both confirmed no parcel was ever collected from the compartment. Regardless of the door being opened. It was empty.

Impose have contacted Vinted separately, and advise them that no parcel was delivered to me, and that it has been returned to the sender by evri. At the moment, I have no tracking number.

However, even if I did, Vince Dave told me they’ve closed the case and there is nothing more they can do even though I have proof that I’ve never had a parcel delivered and it’s on the way back to the sender.

I have given my money to the seller without my authorisation, and I have no parcel so basically stolen my money.

They will not offer mean in compensation instead of the matter is now closed. I will not look at any evidence even though I’ve sent them several and imposed has emailed and several times.

The tracking even shows that the parcel has been collected after it was supposed to be delivered, but they don’t seem to understand that how can a parcel delivered and then be on the way to Norwich two days later if I had received it?

I request in compensation and a refund for all the hassle of phone calls. I’ve had to go through since the 24th of May to take my parcel. I’ve just ignoring me.

Vinted Orange Blazer

I bought an orange blazer from a seller on vinted,I paid £5.09 for the blazer, which includes buyers protection. The parcel arrived and the seller had sent the wrong item, I had to pay to £2.80 to return it. I then received £2.89 refund. £5, I lost, it's not a lot of money but feel absolutely cheated by Vinted. Customer service were repeatedly useless telling me I had received my refund and the matter was closed. They did not send me the complaints procedure as requested a number of times.

Desired outcome: To receive a full refund as this was not my error.

Vinted Order lost by courier

I had notification that a Vinted order for a pair of Dr Marten boots (£60) had arrived at my local Inpost Locker on Thursday 1st June - however when I went to collect it, the locker door opened and the compartment was empty. I rang Inpost immediately and they said I had to contact Vinted, which I did - I clicked on my order on the app to say there was an issue and then when Vinted replied to me they said that according to Inpost the item had been delivered and there was nothing more they could do.

I spoke to Inpost again yesterday and with a simple phone call their operator told me that their courier had indeed put my parcel in the incorrect locker and as it had been a few days, this would have been collected and taken back to a depot and marked as a lost item. They have emailed me with this information and have also sent Vinted an email confirming all this.

However Vinted are refusing to refund me the £60, saying that I didn't raise it as an issue (I did) and have said that their final decision is to release my money to the seller and not refund me.

Desired outcome: I would like a refund

I was selling my genuine trainers online and received interest. All of a sudden my account was blocked and Vinted customer service did not give an explanation why. I emailed the support team who wished to be provided by authencity. I gave the authenticity code (which is has the original logo and bar code that can be verified on the branded website) to only have my account blocked and the customer service team declining to re-open my account because they are do not wish to verify my item.

I have never purchased a counterfeit item and i have even checked its verification via the brand itself to confirm genuinely but again, customer service has told me that they are not going to change their mind and if i wish to ask about a different issue i can do so but this is now blocked and my account has been blocked based on quite honestly, sheer laziness.

I think this is absolutely a disgrace and poorly managed service and i wish to raise a complaint against this company.

Desired outcome: I wish my account to be unblocked so i can re-sell my genuine and authenticated products.

Vinted Refund

Was not notified of changes being made in Vinted to their new platform from Nov. 2021until Apr. 2023. During this time I received multiple emails from Ben to transfer my old funds onto my new account. Each time I have done that, I get an error message saying that the old account is closed and not able to open it back up. I provided evidence to vented multiple times of what is currently left in my account. After they have reviewed it twice, they told me that there is nothing from my old account even though I show them evidence of what is in my old account. They gave me information as to the emails that I received about transferring the funds for multiple account to my new account was an error. How do you send that an error if you're supposed to be a company that supposed to provide correct information to your customers?. I'm to the point that I need to speak with the CEO of the company for this irreparable Behavior. Please see attachments as proof of what I have left from my old account. c

Desired outcome: I want my funds from my sales.

Vinted Purchase of 925 silver bracelet

I purchased a bracelet advertised as 925 silver. When I received the bracelet I pressed everything ok’. As it looked exactly the same as the picture. However , 2 minutes later when I put the bracelet on I discovered only the connection was 925 silver and the bracelet band was not hallmarked. But Because I had pressed everything ok , I cannot return the bracelet even though the bracelet was incorrectly sold as 925 I find this disgusting as I would never have purchased the bracelet if it had been advertised correctly. Every contact the vinted gave me the message ‘once I clicked everything ok’ nothing can be done. I am furious

Desired outcome: Return the bracelet for a refund as the bracelet is significantly different than that was advertised

Vinted Item received was not what was described, in fact it looked about 10 years old well worn & grey in colour

I purchased a T-shirt in Good faith following sellers picture & description £30

Surely buyers protection covers buyer for their purchase, as you will see from advert screenshots & actual item received you will see why I have complained.

I have gone through Vinted procedure & they say I had no issue with this purchase, I am absolutely amazed that they think the item I received was “NEW WITHOUT TAGS” (see attached) instead I received a grey grubby well worn & washed T-shirt , only fit to be a duster!

I have even place the grubby T-shirt next to a white pair of trousers I received the same day through Vinted

Vinted Delivery

In the last two weeks two deliveries have not been made, with shippers Evri and yodel.

I did not buy the shipping. The buyers did.

Both parcels ‘are lost in transit’. Both Evri and yodel say that as the shipping was done through Vinted then you are the ‘Carrier’.

I cannot get to talk to anyone - always, automatic response/robot/ wait.

I believe there is a problem and both these valuable packages have been stolen.

I want someone to investigate urgently

Vinted Vinted refusing to investigate undelivered item

Vinted claimed item was delivered. No proof supplied.

I missed 2 day window as item delivered late friday evening and didnt see message till late sunday. Vinted therefore refuse to help.

Both buyer and seller tried to contact Inpost, delivery company, for photo proving item was delivered and WHERE to.

Inpost will only deal with Vinted.

Vinted refuses to contact them as they say transaction is complete, which it isnt, and send us in circles of standard rejection messages.

We have lost the item and I'm out of pocket with nothing to show for it.

We want proof of delivery. Only Vinted can get this for us. They dont care and refuse to help. Someone needs to hold them to account, surely.

Desired outcome: Vinted investigate this non-delivery with the delivery company, as NOONE ELSE CAN

Vinted Refund/claims procedure

I recently sold a bundle of items using Vinted. I packaged the items in a large box, taped the top all the way around and dropped it off to the parcel shop where it was collected by Evri (courier service).

A few days later, I received a message from the buyer through my Vinted account to say they were missing items. I asked the buyer to send images, and asked the condition of the parcel. The buyer sent lots of images, the parcel was extremely damaged, dented and ripped. There was a lot of brown parcel tape used (not by me I used clear) as it seems the parcel was damaged during transit and the courier has attempted to secure the parcel before it continued its journey. This brown tape was not applied by myself, however despite the couriers efforts to secure the parcel, the parcel still arrived in a terrible condition and missing 4.5 out of 5 of the items I sent. (One of which came in two parts).

I contacted evri, which was an absolute nightmare! Eventually when I spoke to a human, evri admitted liability, agreed the parcel should have been reported and not delivered in the condition is was in and that I would need to report back to vinted to claim compensation which they would claim back from evri, the man I spoke to from evri even sent me an email stating liability for vintes reference.

I went back to vinted and sent them the information I had found out from evri, including images of the damaged parcel and screenshots of evris email.

Vinted came to the conclusion that the parcel was improperly packaged and they would refund the buyer but not compensate me for my lost items.

I again explained the parcel was damaged in transit and that evri had confirmed this and that also my items are covered up to £20 and thay it is their procedure to raise this investigation to claim my money back through evri.

They again said there was nothing they could help me with, they wouldnt refund me and didn't even acknowledge the email from evri, it seems like they really cannot be bothered to help me claim back for my lost items. I will be making a formal complaint as I asked them how I take it further/who I can speak to yet they simply said the decision has been made.

Desired outcome: I'd like a full refund for my missing items, and also the £6 i spent trying to speak to a human and getting an automated response who didn't recognise the tracking number and i was only on the phone for 30 seconds

Vinted Cant recieve payment

I have sold a tracksuit and its saying I have £12 available but when I put my bank details in it says access denied log out and something about the app.

Also its saying activity Bolton but thats not me.

I have tried to buy something to use the £12 and then its taking me to a page saying confirm password and when i do that it send me an email telling me to change my password. This needs sorting as I have other people intrested in items and i am holding back as I don't want to sell things on here and I cant get the money .

If this is not sorted then I will have no other choice to close my Vinted account

Desired outcome: acess to my payments and to stop activity one my account which is not me and to be able to buy stuff

So sad. I think I will lose my £58 as it has been more than a month that I can not withdraw my money and customer service couldn't help me.

Really disappointed with vinted.

Vinted Buyer protection

I ordered a dress. It went missing with the courier. I communicated with the seller and courier constantly. But could not notify Vinted till after a certain time lapsed. I was on holiday for the weekend and had no internet access. During that time Vinted gave me 48 hours to raise an issue. 48 hours was not long enough and I missed it by the time I got home. Vinted then marked the dress as delivered and released the funds. When I challenge this I was basically told "tough luck" we gave you 48 hours" I then asked about the Buyer Protection which covers me in the event of a non delivery. I was told this is only valid for the 48 hours when I could raise an issue. Despite me paying Buyer Protection so if an item I buy goes missing, I can't actually claim the buyers protect. This makes no sense.

Desired outcome: I want to use my buyer protection insurance and get my money back.

Vinted Refund withheld

I bought an item on Vinted on the 10th March. The item did not arrive. The items which did arrive were not for me and the courier was immediately notified. (That is a whole separate complaint regarding wvti's incompetence).

I contacted Vinted to let them know that my item had not been delivered. I have them all of the details, along with photos. They have held my payment and will not refund me, even though it has been weeks and my parcel is very clearly lost. Evri are not keeping us updated and have since delivered an item to the wrong address, again but Vinted are still insisting on making me and the seller wait to resolve this. I have asked for a refund several times and each time they keep telling me to wait. I ae seen on TrustPilot that multiple people have also had issues with being refunded. The money does not belong to Vinted. It never has. They are the middle man. Any other seller would have refunded me long ago. I know this because I have had items lost previously and the company have sent a refund. They are not keeping the seller informed. Both myself and the seller have written multiple emails to Evri and Vinted. It has been almost a month and it is obvious that the item is lost.

Desired outcome: Refund of all monies paid.
