On March 6, 2022 I went through the drive-through of the #05604 store to pick up 3 prescriptions. I was told that only one was ready and to come back in 2 hours to pick up all 3. On March 8, 2022, I went inside the store to pick up my prescriptions. I stood there for over half an hour while Sadie tried to find my prescriptions. I told her that I received a text message that all 3 prescriptions were ready for pick up.
Sadie advised me that only 2 prescriptions were ready and that one was lost somewhere. When I asked her why the 3rd prescription was not ready (I did not raise my voice to her) she said she had no idea and told me to not take an attitude with her. She said whoever you talked to is the person you need to take this up with and not me. She was very nasty. Then she crumpled up my receipt into a little ball and through it into my bag.
I had just transferred my prescriptions over from Walmart. Now I'm sorry I did and I will be transferring them somewhere else.
Stop hiding items, train your staff to fulfill orders as requested.
I have two complaints one specific to the location i visit. The location I visit is in Tempe, AZ off of Mill and Broadway. This location never substitutes items when I select substitutions are approved. They also say items are out of stock when they are not. I’m not sure if you need to train people or if they are doing it on purpose.
The second is Walgreens hides items off their website so that you can’t use them with certain discounts or coupons.
Undelivered order
I made a purchase at Walgreens order #[protected] value $80.88 is sent by FedEx: [protected] says it was signed in our company by Saantis Monday 2/21/2022 at 9:21 am but there is no such person in our company and the product was not delivered I'm in the loss, I contacted Walgreens via website sometimes said they are not responsible for bad service, on the Fedex website I can not complete the complaint always of the error, I as a customer I am abandoned by Walgreens and FedEx and I am without my products that were purchased injury and without any response from both companies!
Desired outcome: I want my products
Pharmacist
Pharmacy/male pharmacist is demeaning and makes it so hard to get prescriptions if you have transportation problems. Pharmacist Chibuike O. actually punished me because I dared to question why my prescription status on the system told me the time it would be ready, and upon arrival, a pharmacy tech apologized and told me it would be ready in 45 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes, I was told he would not be filling the prescription at all and I would have to come back tomorrow. He said he "went back" on my prescription and I had gotten it 2 days early the month before. This pharmacy has changed their hours and are only open until 6pm on weekdays and some days do not open until 10am. Therefore, the only time someone can pick the prescriptions up for me is on the weekend. My doctor called it in for me on Friday. My insurance will pay for it today, Sunday, so WHY, because they are running behind am I to suffer? Playing God with peoples medications is cruel and should be criminal. This man does not care that a family member drove 30 minutes to provide transportation to pick the medication up, waited the additional 45 minutes on her day off to be told he was punishing me. Now, I will do WITHOUT my required medication until I can get a ride between their shortened hours. The poor, disabled, and dependent customers are the ones targeted by this pharmacist. He knows he can treat people this way. It is very abusive and dishonest.
Desired outcome: This pharmacist needs to be removed. No one should disregard a physicians and insurances order to fill a prescription. The automated system as well as the pharmacy staff should have some trust value.
Rude pharmacy staff
The kids working at the pharmacy register is completely lost. He does not know what he's doing. The girl at the pharmacy drive thru tried to help supposedly, but she was rude and acted more like everything was a bother to her. I tried to get prescription transferred to CVS and been at cvs trying to get through for 45 minutes. I call and a girl picks up and she's rude. Like too bad have cvs call us not you. So I hold for pharmacy manager or something. The pharmacist from day before answers and apologized
Desired outcome: customer service training
Covid vax push
03/04/2022
As a healthcare retired person I am knowledgeable of my healthcare need. I "hate" to be put on hold and receive the same #message in the waiting call of getting a vaccine which I do not need, want, or plan to get. It's the same as me holding on a call to ask me to "fill a form for a loan insisting that it is good for me". Please take down this add which only serves to maintain a rhetoric that's being debunked by world renown virologists. Mainly when natural immunity is better than a vaccine. Thank you for listening.
Desired outcome: Stop repeating the vaccine rhetoric of CoVid 19 which was from 2019. It mutated to Delta 2020, then to Omicron 2021, we are in a new face for 2022. thanks. Covid 19 is dead. Thanks.
Covid-19 pcr test
I had an international flight scheduled for 2/18/2022, 11:05 PM.
A negative Covid-19 test was required 72 hours before departure.
On 2/16/2022, 9:22 AM I took the test at Walgreen Pharmacy located in 314 Applegarth Road, Monroe Township, NJ.
On 2/17/2022, I attempted to view the results but it said that there is no such packett number. After several tries with same results, I called AEGIS (the lab Walgreens uses in... Tennessee) and I was told to check every 4 hours.
Later that evening I got a note on my inquiry that the packet arrived damaged and the test cannot be performed.
On the morning of my flight, 2/18/2022 I could not a free rapid test and had to pay $199. for that test in order to be eligible to board my flight.
Here is the line from my Credit Card statement:
02/18 URGENT CAR* LIVE URGEN HTTPSLIVEURGE NJ 199.00
Desired outcome: It would be only fare that Walgreens will compensate me for the $200 I paid to have that Covid-19 test.
store on MIddlefield in Palo Alto, CA
Thursday, about 1:00 pm. on March 2nd, 2022. This was the first say that our county, Santa Clara County, AFTER Disneyland said it was okay, AFTER Los Angeles, AFTER San Francisco, and even AFTER the CDC, finally said we did not have to wear a mask. So, into the store, I did not. However, it caused such a near panic, It was like I was naked. One very angry man wearing a mask pointed me out to the cashier, who with great alarm, told me I would have to leave or they would be shut down!
Could you please inform your store on Middlefield in Palo Alto, that it is okay now--and may I add, I have had three vax shots and numerous negative tests, for people to decide for themselves whether or not they want to wear a mask. thanks.
Desired outcome: see above. Inform your store to not act like little scared babies.
Returns Policy
Date and time is irrelevant because this is a corporate policy according to the cashier at Walgreens in Arvada, CO. This did happen in the last 2 months Jan./Feb. 2022. I purchased a Walgreens branded item and one other item. Due to circumstances that were far more important I could not get back to the store for over a month. The cashier told me they would not accept the return as store policy was not to take anything back if it was sold over 30 days ago. I explained that we got a prescription item from Walgreens for the item in question. It made no difference. I can understand where they might not take back an item that was a brand other than the Walgreens brand but to not take back their own product is ludicrous. What difference could 10 days make? Needless to say, my family will never purchase anything from Walgreens again. We have been getting our prescriptions filled there for years and you would think that would give some credence to our honesty. This policy needs to be amended to no more than 60 days giving people with much larger problems at the time to get something back to the store.
Desired outcome: Change policy
Drive thru
We just waited 15 min in the drive thru line to have the window closed in our face because of lunchtime. Not everyone knows the hours for your lunch. I realize everyone needs a lunchtime and I don't have a problem with this. The problem could be avoided if a cone or maybe a light child be installed so customers could see the closed sign before waiting in line. Please have a little respect for your customers

I am constantly being profiled by the loss prevention officer at the Walgreens store located inside of Union Station in Washington, DC every morning I shop there. He's also a Metro/DC Police officer, I'm assuming by his uniform. Usually as the sole African American male customer, I'm always chosen as the customer he chooses to noticeably shadow/follow in...
Read full review of Walgreens and 3 commentsThat rude and nasty pharmacy manager
I came in to get my medicine yesterday and that new light skinned lady Kim I think. She was so nasty in her mannerisms and how she talked to that tech with the afro that it pissed me off. I left to keep from going off. I understand her title and everything. But that child was asking questions on the behalf of a customer standing at the register. Right in front of them! She's so nasty she doesn't care about embarrassing or belittling people in front of a line of people. That poor child was running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. She was sweating, out of breath, and I felt so sorry for her. That red woman sat at that computer in her white jacket as if she didn't have a care in the world. Her attitude is not right for her position. This was at 5108 in Jacksonville.
Desired outcome: That light skinned pharmacy manager lady needs to be sat down and reminded of her duties as a leader and a medical professional. Can't she get in trouble for refusing to help customers and mistreating people?
I worked for Walgreens and I will tell you that the pharmacist I worked under would speak that way to us techs. I will go even further a male pt. called one day and he being ill was upset that his medications weren't ready she the pharmacist was speaking to him in a unprofessional manner he did call her uneducated for I could hear him through the phone. She hung up on him a short time later his wife came in to pick up his medicine and she told her she would have to wait it wasnt ready. The wife replied in a friendly manner I thought you told my husband it would be ready when I came to pick up. The pharmacist said well it's not ready go sit down and I will call you in 15 minutes. The lady went and sat in waiting room. I walked out of the pharmacy and explained to the woman I know this might be hard to believe but the power went off right when she hung up on your husband. The lady replied oh I believe you ours also went off. The pharmacist then called her name when the lady approached the pharmacist decides she is going to check the lady out and as she is ring the lady up she is now brow beating this poor woman. I want to tell you something you can relay to your husband I am highly educated and I don't need someone like your husband who obviously cant comprehend the basics in life. But give this message if he ever talks to me that way again I will bar him from MY pharmacy. When the woman left she asked me what I went out and told her? I said I was sorry for the delay but the power had went off she said did I tell you to do that I said no but would you like to go discuss with the store manager. She is one that has no place working with sick people but Walgreens allows it for I reported her and she is still there.
No pay
I work there they did not pay for days I was working don't work there place sucks and every week same bull crap going there
store appearance
This is about my observation of store #18204 at 355 Knickerbocker Ave. While waiting for the pharmacy to open at 9:00am on 2/22/22. I realized how dirty and grimy the floors and walls were. Various areas needed to be painted. You could see garbage under the shelves. I grew leery about getting my medication from this pharmacy. Now I'm wondering how the medication is being handled. I've had problems with the pharmacy staff and was thinking about going somewhere else. This may just do the trick, to do so.
Desired outcome: I would like to see this store cleaned up. The store is conveniently located, but cleanliness is super important.
Walgreens pharmacy has hit rock bottom at the Fern Valley store in Louisville. I have called in the same prescription refill multiple times and I am still waiting for the refill to be processed. I finally had to file a complaint after trying to get the same refill processed for the 3rd or 4th time. This has happened multiple times trying to get refills filled in the past.
The lines are always long in both the store and drive thru.
Staff has no problem closing the window on you at closing time after waiting in-line for 30 minutes or more inside the store and in the drive thru.
I will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere.
Call the local health department there are standards that must be met. Also call the board of pharmacies in your state and report them.
Service
This complaint is for the pharmacy department and store . Horrible customer service. I've complained about this employee three or four times . She is rude, unprofessional nasty human being about 5f t2in brown hair Caucasian. Why she still has a job blows my mind I will not stop until she's fired .
Pharmacy had the wrong information, would not fill my scripts.
I have been going to the same Walgreens pharmacy innCairo, GA for over a year now. My paper prescriptions were dropped off, and their computer system says that it is too early that I just picked up my prescriptions on various different days that I did not pick up any prescription from them. I had the bottles with the date clearly visible on the bottle...

I purchased blood test strips on 4/3021. You were paid for by Medicare and my medicare supplement carrier (Blue Shield) on June 8. 2021 Check #[protected]. Check cleared on June 18, 2021
EVERY month I get a fraudulent bill from your criminal home office and I call the drunkards at your billing office [protected]. EVERY month, I am told to ignore the bill since the check received on June 8, 2021 paid the bill in full. I am told EVERY month I will not be fraudulently billed again, but the fraudulent billing continues EVERY month. This is criminal harassment on your part (a FELONY)
The billing office is FULLY staffed by drunks or liars. I am getting ready to file a criminal complaint for elder abuse (I am a severely disabled 71 year old) against the Walgreens corporate office and Rosalind Brewer personally. I demand reimbursement for my time working on this project for the last 9 months. My usual and customary fee as an actuarial consultant is $600 per hour. For this project, that amounts to $701,462 plus a pain and suffering courtesy fee of $250,000. REMIT NOW along with an apology from Rosalind for the drunken fraud of her billing office and her negligence in not firing them all long ago.

Pharmacy
My complaint is as follows. I placed a prescription at 5:15 on February 14th 2022. At the Grand Ave and highway 19 Walgreens sunnprairie wis pharmacy the pharmacist said they were too busy to come back and pick it up later they texted at 7:45 pm I returned to the store I was there at 8:10 pm at the drive up window which was closed. The pharmacy was already closed at 8 pm the advertised hours on line for the pharmacy 9pm. It was a prescription for oxycodone for a complete knee replacement of a patient who had just had surgery. There was no way for me to pick up the prescription as they had closed early earlier than their advertised hours. I then proceeded to go to the Davison Street pharmacy in Sun prairie Wisconsin because I was told that they could fill the prescription as they were 24-hour pharmacy I got there and I was told by the pharmacist "Ingrid" that we could not have that prescription filled even though my sister was in terrible pain from a complete knee replacement surgery 3 hours prior to this. ingred nor the pharmacy tech who I spoke to prior.. had no empathy she had no consideration she was rude and disrespectful I asked her if my sister mattered to her at all. Or her pain she said "she had other prescriptions that needed to be filled" I said so you have a total disregard for my sister's perscription. Or that my sister was in extreme pain. She said she had other patients and other perscription to fill. I was in shock at her total disregardbfor me or my sister. what mattered was her other prescriptions that she had to fill. WOW! I never once was disrespectful or rude I questioned her and asked her to contact the physician. I was very concise and very conserned about my sister's wellbeing. I again request she contact the physician to have the prescription paper work. To get the prescription transfered to her pharmacy. He quote "No it is too late to get ahold of the Dr as it was late" I said the Grand Ave pharmacy has the paper work and filled the prescription to get it from them she said no.
Then she rudly started questions me blaming me for not getting the prescription earlyer as this was not her fault I did not pick it up. And why I did not wait for the prescription to be refilled.
I told her my sister got out of the hospital at 5pm we got to the pharmacy at 5:15. And they where swamped and it would take 90 min she said come back.
We got the text at around 7:45pm and returned from our home 20 min away and the pharmacy had closed early. ingress remark that was not her problem... WOW! Wow!
She in no way even cared after I answered all her aquisation as of it was our fault. That the pharmacy closed early or that we waited to long to get the prescription filled.
Desired outcome: corporate investigation, policy change, pharmacist sensitivity training

Pharmacy technician swearing at/calling me names
On February 7, 2022 around 11:00 a.m., I was trying to get an issue with my diabetes medication resolved. My insurance will not pay for 1,000 mg tablets, so I have to have 500 mg tablets and take 2. I have been trying since Wednesday to get this resolved. (It is now Monday). I spoke to the pharmacy on Saturday and tried to explain the issue then. All they keep doing is sending over a refill request. Today I was trying to ask if the doctor requested the 1,000 twice a day but my insurance would not pay for that, what was the difference if they gave me 500 mg to take 2 of twice a day. The pharmacist said she did not understand what I meant. I admit, by this time I was so frustrated, I asked her is there was somebody more intelligent that I could speak to. At this point, she called me an f-ing c-word(I am female) and told me to "f" off. Then she put me on hold.I have filed a complaint with Walmart Customer Service, but I am still very upset. BTW, the store is #09344 in New Kensington, PA. I can understand if she was offended, but to call me what she did is totally unacceptable. I am now nervous to get scripts there.
Desired outcome: Some type of discipline-perhaps suspension for a few days at the least.
