I carried my 2000 Land Rover in to change out a tire for the new one I bought online through Walmart's web site. First, I went to the store to see if they had the tire I saw online, but they didn't, so I bought a new one. When I went to the store this morning around 8 a.m., one service technician said it would be around 9 before they could change out my old tire for the new one. I waited, and around 8.50 a.m. I asked the Technician about my tire change. In doing so, the technician came over after I pulled my Land Rover to the front door, but not in the garage. When I pulled it up, the technician tried to take the lugs lose, but couldn't, so I knelt down and loosen them up myself. In doing so, he said my lug nut was stripped. But the lug nut was seated properly. When this happen, the tech said it was stripped, and the shop foreman came over and said he couldn't change my tire. I told him that was BS. I was really upset, actually mad. So, I ask about putting the new tire on my spare, they did this, and when done, laid the tire against the entry door and walked away, so I had to come over and put it on myself. which was heavy. I put it on and drove off. What was sad, they didn't assist me one bit putting my spare on the truck, And I'm 76
Claimed loss: I will not go back to this location again, because of the lack of assistance for a senior citizen, and the lack of professional help which they could have been better.
Desired outcome: The outcome was very poor in handling my situation, and the lack of assistance they gave me after the new tire was installed
