Dumpster services
We originally scheduled a construction dumpster in early October of 2021. We were not given any information about what could or could not be put in the dumpster and how much we could fill it...The dumpster was utilized on a Wednesday and we called for pick up that following Monday...When the driver came out, he did not communicate with staff and just left..., .we called the following morning and told that the dumpster was too heavy for them to remove...after speaking to several customer service agents and technical support personnel, we were told that they could assist us in removing the dumpster, but first we had to submit an online profile and it must be approved...after several back and forth emails, and more than a weeks time, we finally got our profile accepted. I then called Nicole Gieldon, who I had been speaking with and she said that they would be out on Tuesday to take care of everything and no further action was needed on our part...When I arrived at work Thursday, I had received an email from Nicole that said, "they came out to get the dumpster and it was too full"...
The whole point of the profile was so that we could get assistance with removing the debris in the dumpster...we were never given any instructions to empty the dumpster...then, without our approval, an additional dumpster was delivered and we were told we had to figure out how to empty it on our own. This was the 3rd additional dumpster brought to us without our permission and we are being billed for it, in addition to the extra time we have had the construction dumpster..I called Friday morning, November 12 and spoke to a supervisor who assured me this would be taken care of today...she transferred me to Nicole again who said she was sending out a supervisor to assess the situation and would get back with me...Later today, I received a call from our Palm Beach location and told that whoever came out was extremely rude and unprofessional...he told us in no uncertain terms that this was all of our fault and that is is our responsibilty to take care of it and that he would see to it that we were charged for the extra service and dumpsters that we never requested...We watched a driver break off the hook used for removing the dumpster and then he just left...the gentleman that came out on Friday said that there is no way that the driver would have done that and that we would be held responsible for the damage. ...I have made approximately 30 to 40 calls to dispatch trying to get this problem resolved and have gotten absolutely no help..not to mention that this construction dumpster is so heavy that it is sinking into our newly poured ashpalt...we have been customers since 2003 and have never had this kind of issue...

Billing
I have had service with Waste Management for 5 years and never had an issue with my service being interrupted. My bill was past due for 27 days and for that you don't pick up my service which is absolutely ridiculous! Your billing tactics are questionable and your service sucks. The least I could've received was a courtesy call or you could extend some grace for loyal customers. If there is another option for trash service I will be finding it.

Driver complaint
One of your drivers parked in an alley blocking the entrance to a residential garage so that they could go do something or pick something up across the street at Grand Ave Mall. This is not acceptable.
I am attempting to post photos here but I'm not sure if they're uploading. They can be provided.
The driver returned as I finished snapping the photos. I advised that he was blocking a residential garage entrance. He didn't seem to care.
I will add that there is a secondary way to access the entrance but it's down a one way street, so you need to go down Wisconsin and around the block to get to it, and it's often really tight because the hotel workers park back there.

My Husband has called serval times to customer service to change out our black trash in to a smaller one I believe its the 1.5 yard, which is our blue recycling one size, also requesting you to provide locks for both since the surrounding area thinks its their personal dumping spot. Each time he calls he gets no help and just told that someone will call him back and they never do. If we can't get this taken care of in a timely matter we are going to form a complaint with the City!

Failed bin delivery
My name is Nathalie / Arvin Torres residing at 21154 Blue Jeans Court, Riverside CA 92507. A request was made for trash bins multiple times but never delivered we were told due to shortage. WM told us driver will pick up trash bags but they wont. Animals are getting into trash and creating a mess to the neighborhood. We decided to buy our own trash bin from Home Depot because our trash in a plastic bag are not being picked-up. Today, a note was left on our personal trash bin to use official WM trash bin (that they have not delivered). But WM driver wont pick-up trash bags they said they will.
Meanwhile, today we witnessed delivery of new trash bin to our lucky neighbor. We were told by Donna that our neighbor requested the trash bins way earlier than us. Interesting explanation since we moved in a month ahead of our lucky neighbor and had to send the request for trash bin once moved in.
Desired outcome: Deliver trash bin ASAP, do not send warning notes if its not our fault
150% Increase in our bill
WM recently increased its billing for our area without and advances notice. Our quarterly cost increased from about $64 to over $150.
When I called to speak with someone in the billing department I was told that WM was granted a rate increase. AA rate increase of over 150% is absurd.
I will fight this by trying to find another trash collection service or take the trash to the reclamation center myself.

WM pulling in my driveway
I am complaining because WM keeps pulling in our driveway, after we have already called twice to report it and tell them to stop. They had no problem backing down the road to get the trash then driving right out, now they taking it upon themselves to use my driveway on my land for their turnaround. We have complained twice already about it. They are causing major damage. If they do not stop we are going to get a lawyer involved. They can back down the road like they have before.

Trash not getting pick up
We are scheduled every Tuesday for trash pick up but they never pick up ours, We called wednesday they said the will send a dispatch, called thursday same info they say they will send a dispatch, and then it's finally friday, same info from the customer service!We called back monday same thing again!so here comes Tuesday our schedule for pick up but they skipped us again!We call and call we even talk to so many supervisors regarding this matter and they would always tell us that they will send somebody here to pick up our trash.I am so frustrated about this matter, all we wanted is for our trash to get pick up!so simple but why does it feel like they are just saying these things to us and they are not actually doing anything.I am so tired of calling ang wasting my time on the phone!Why can't anybody help us?!Imagined a pile of trash for almost 2 weeks?this is the number [protected]!

So many: wrong container, wrong pick up dates, pick ups when we did not call in for a pick up and their people don't know anything.
Their people don't know anything. When I call them or test then they tell me that they will take care of what I am calling about but that never happens. I am so tired of having problems every month and I really mean every month. I get passed around from one person to the other. I have wasted so much time waiting on the phone listening to their prerecord message on how my cal is very important to them. But is it really? I can not be-leave that I have been doing this so so many times. I started keeping my e-mail in August 2021. Please if it is at all possible for you to go thru all my emails and phone calls starting in Feb. 2020 and 2021. I have cancelled our account and I have spent $16, 000.00 on a new 16' dump trailer because I am fed up with them not following thru with all their promises.

Multiple missed Trash pick ups
We've been customers since 1996, over the years service was good. However, in the last 2 years service has gone downhill rapidly. Missed pickup 8 times this year. There is no one call locally, just a quick disconnect when selecting customer service. We use to be able to find someone on Chat. Now Chat feature is gone. It's annoying, since the 2 side streets intersecting with our street are pick-up when we are skipped. We've ended up paying the town dump for trash disposal on top of paying Waste Management.

Extra trash container
Waste management employee told me that I pay for services every 6 months then I get a bill for a year. I called about it and then another employee tell me something different. They came and took the container. I called them and they brought it back. They again came and took it bc my invoice was past due. They charged me $17 on top of $27 that I had already paid. I paid it then months later they send me a bill for $80 for the removal of the container that they came and took.
Who gets that money? The ppl at the top bc I know it's not the employees picking up trash in harsh weather conditions. Every year I buy gift cards for the ppl who pick up my trash. I won't be doing that anymore. Let WM give them something.

Your CANS are squatting on our property.
We cancelled our service due to poor service.
They picked up the trash/recycle, but the cans are still here. We will give them 24 more hours and then we will just get rid of their cans.

Bulk pickup - residential
We live in the city of Brookfield, Wisconsin and Waste Management is the contracted waste pickup company for the city. On August 16, 2021, I contacted Waste Management for bulk pickup of an old couch. Waste Management allows one bulk item - free of charge - per week. This service is separate from the weekly garbage pickup which is reliable. Since August 16th, Waste Management has promised pickup dates 6 times and never showed up once. I was on the phone with them again this morning after the 6th failed deadline and they moved the date for a seventh time to Monday, September 13, 2021.
I have been in contact with the alderman of our district and the manager of Public Works for the city of Brookfield. They both tried to escalate the urgency with the Waste Management area management team with no success.

3 year contract that I was not told about
john Brinkman and Anthony Smith signs me up for a $173 contract not disclosing that it is a 3 year contract and then raises the monthly payments on me to over $500 per month.
I call in to cancel and they tell me that I have signed a 3 year contract and there is a $2700 cancellation fee.
They sent me a sheet of paper via docusign with going over it with me and I AM SURE THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS BEEN DECEIVED LIKE THIS.
I will seek legal action and try to open a class action if this is not resolved .
I already have new bins at my property at 8102 Compton Ave Los Angeles CA 90001 and I want them removed now.
Please let me know if you would like to resolve this as I know there are many attorneys willing to take this case on.

Gene - I am experiencing the same problem with Waste Management. We are changing to a local hauler and I tried to cancel our 2 dumpsters with WM. They emailed me a 10 year old contract that my store manager signed (who left the company years ago) and said they were enforcing every clause! What kind of business do they run?

I have had continue problems w them messing my yard up. They don't pick up all my trash sometimes cause they said it to heavy (really) they have missed my house a bunch of times. Never won't to send them back out. All around a bad company. Can't never get my complaints looked at

Missing pick up service
My trash pick up day is every Thursday. Yesterday there is a car park in front of my garage door with no driver inside, then the trash car can't go through to pick up my recycle bin. I understood that's not their fault, but either am I. Then I called the WM company right away, the agent told me the driver would come back that day. I waited until 8pm, no one showed up. Today which is the following day, I called the WM service number again, the agent told me they left the note there, the driver would come back for sure. I asked about when, they even couldn't give me a time flame. By the end of the day, No one came to do the service again. What kind of customer service they are. So terrible. I paid for my service, but not being served. So I am really doubt about WM company's system. It's a really simple problem to solve, but no one could take care of it. Their slogan is make us life easier, but by this case, they actually make my life harder. I deal with them 2 days in a row. Called them 4 time. No one can fix this tiny little, simple problem. They need to refund what I paid. And also pay for my emotional distress.

Waste Management - Yard Waste Pick-up
For the last few years I have been calling & complaining to WM about my yard waste not being picked up (usually when their is a replacement driver). There are 6 houses that back up to the "Interurban Trail" in Edmonds, WA. We are the only houses in the neighborhood who ever have to deal with missed pick-ups. I have spoken to supervisors who advise the problem will be resolved. It never is! What will it take to get this problem resolved once and for all! I can't even begin to tell you how much time I have spent on the phone either waiting to talk to a support representative.

They are still billing me even though I have cancel service as well as say I owe a balance from no trash being picked since sept. 2020 they promised to remove bill and have not yet still typically paid and on time very frustrating . I have been with them for a long time and can not understand when they lost the contract from the city of El Cajon they just keep on billing me for nothing. I want this resolved quickly please

Small waste Dumpster behind a commercial building
To whom it may concern:
I'm hoping you can assist me with an issue I've had for over 1 year. I have called on numerous occasions within this year span, but no one listens or seems to care. I am the building manager at the addressed 320 & 322 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables, FL 33134. Behind our building there is a dumpster which is rusted and missing wheels. This is an eyesore to say the least. Our tenants pay a reasonable amount of money to have to see such a poorly kept garbage bin.
Can someone please investigate and swap this dumpster out for one that is in better condition? Thank you for your time and effort in helping with this.

Garbage collection
I've been a faithful customer since 2009. Have had multiple problems with pickup over the years. Prices are extremely high. When I called to arrange discontinuation of service, I was told that there would be a $75 charge to pick up containers. The next bill I received was $123.07. I sat on hold for customer service for over 30 minutes and then was transferred to a different department. It was explained that extra fees & charges were added to the $75 charge because a new invoice was sent. When I asked for a complaint department, I was told there was none. This was confirmed when I went to website and there was no "contact us" option.
So very disappointed with how this company continues to take advantage of the customer and make it so difficult to deal with them. This is exactly why we have changed our provider. Well, that and the fact that the new provider is nearly half the cost.
I feel sorry for the customer service reps who have to try to defend how this company operates.
