Wells Fargo mortgage assistance

Have had multiple Mortgages with Wells Fargo Bank and the Wells Fargo Financial Division for Refinancing and also Wells Fargo Mortgage. We have NEVER in over 30 years been late with ANY payment to them and often have paid ahead or made larger payments.

I am alone now and have become so ill that I was hospitalized for months. During that time I made payments, however I was told by 5 Doctors that there is no possible way for me to continue to work. I called Wells Fargo Bank and got in touch with the Wells Fargo Mortgage Division but they were of NO HELP. I advised them of my serious illness and inability to work again. I have applied for Social Security Disability and am a Federal Employee and was soon ready to retire. I called on my South Carolina property that I lived in until serious illness and now in Arizona. They said, "Unless you go DELINQUENT we can't assist in anyway or even talk about potential options!" That is a DIRECT QUOTE from the Mortgage Banker at Wells Fargo.

They have been sued before for discrimination and for harassment of employees and I thought things would be better for a consumer who was calling to ask for help. I wanted to let them know and be aprised of my health and since I had special Mortgage insurance I thought he could have assisted me but hung up while I was looking for paperwork. I called back and was told no record of the call and to call again next day. I called in afternoon next day and asked for representative I talked to. They said that would be impossible as I would HAVE TO BE IN PROCESSS OF FORECLOSURE by Wells Fargo or VERY LATE on Payments.

This sounded crazy to me so I spoke to a manager. The manager said I had a pristine record on multiple mortgages and was a valued customer of Wells Fargo Bank and Wells Fargo Financial and Wells Fargo Mortgage. However, the manager said that there was not anything they were required to do to help me. I asked about help that came down from President Obama and the Senate and Congress, but he insisted that they were a financial instrument or product and were there to MAKE MONEY and not to assist. He suggested I contact family, which are all deceased due to a fire. There was NO SYMPATHY or HELP.

I called Wells Fargo Corporation in West Des Moines, Iowa and in Minneapolis. I had left 2 messages and sent 2 faxes to the Corporate offices and to the attention of the executives there. I have waited 4 weeks and each week I call to be told it is on the way that same day. Nothing has been received. Today I called and was told that I should sell my home and find a retirement village or some place like that. Does that make any sense? Please advise.

These people are regional and international scammers. I was surfing Craigslist and found a focus group that would meet in my city and pay $100 once I filled out an eligibility survey. I put in my available times, and answered the preliminary questions. It directed me to join Global Test Market, but I was already a member, and there was no member log in. I emailed the poster telling them I was a member thrice, but no response, so it was a bot. To me, it smells like they wanted to attract new members to take personal information while not offering a focus group.
These people are sleazebags of the highest order. If you really want to make money while doing surveys, you have to get invited by phone by the company. I'm a member of Research FM and Savitz Research, and they are as legit as they come. You can't sign up, and it's more based on city than anything else, so if you live in BFE Montana or Russia, you probably won't get an invite.

Wells Fargo discrimination

Wells fargo lead me on application upon application for a re finance from a subprime loan they bought from Home Eq Mortage! 1) First we submitted an application jointly was turned down, 2) Submitted another application for Home Modification was turned down. 3) Submitted another application for (Preservation Dept-Hardship) was turned down.
4) Submitted another for single person, wife forced to go on Short Term Disabilty for a knee replacement, turned down because Dr. stated that he could not give exact date for return to work!

This process has been very costly, approx: $1, o50 for appraisals, copying, fax, and delivery overnight charges, not to mention needless hours getting documentation from sources, and over and excessive requests by Wells Fargo involving Retirement Account Info. Pension Plans, PTO Time, and Requests from Drs. which are in violation of HIPAA Laws!

If anyone would like to enter into a class action law suit against Wells Fargo, please contact me at: [protected]@verizon.net

Wells Fargo deceived me, listed me as caucasion ( am afroAmer), harrassing from calls, threatnened me with short sale, all while keeping me in a high subprime loan at thirty yrs fixed at 9.9%! I've read in the news paper and www how Wells fargo was discriminating against people wishing to refinace, especially AfroAmer's, and other's simarily situated!

CLASS ACTION MEMBERS NEEDED TO ENTERTAIN SUIT!

Wells Fargo repo

I already know a remark I am going to get " you owed e money, it is your own fault". And I agree. That being said, i want to share my story.

Last year I got a month and then 2 months behind. I repeatedly did as Wachovia requested (now Wells Fargo), and contacted them. But they were rude each time? The long story had to repeated numerous times, even though i would be assured that notes were made to avoid the story telling. So, if i didn't contact, they got even more aggressive and mean. I would yet again be told that wouldn't be the case if I would contact them. This was not true, but they wouldn't be 'as rude' as they were when I don't contact them. Two of the lesser evils, then?

I still need to tell you I paid every month after I got behind and told them i could catch up when i got my tax money in February. I got an extremly rude girl in January who said if I didn't pay the 2 months plus the upcoming payment that day, it was being put in for repo. I explained I could in February, but she ended the call with the threat. Well, i needed my car to take car of my daughter, get to work and get to the doctor ( last year i was rear ended and can only work part time now and go to a doctor twice a month). So almost three years ago i was laid off ( I was employed for 11 years and made a good living), took a job at half my salary ( I am a divorced mom and needed to take a job to take care of my 11 yr old daughter AND just spent my 401k to argue with my ex husband and still can't get the child support order enforced; a whole different drama). So i have less income, fighting for child support, and no savings left. Add losing my dad to Parkinsons last spring and being hurt in an accident in the fall ( i now can only work part time and the girl who hit me is 18 years old and barely any insurance). I had been paying every month this year and promised to catch up in February, and even made the January payment (after the re.po threat).

Got my tax money last Friday. Needed to find out the total due, but the bank was closed for the holiday this weekend. Monday at 2 am, they repo'd the car. The one lucky thing i needed to mention is that my long time boyfriend ( I am 45 yrs old) just moved here from out of state, so I had someone for assistance. I called WF to get the amount due to reclaim; they kept telling me to call back. Finally, they tell me they do not want to reinstate the loan, partially because i made it difficult for hem to repo.

Well, to be honest, in January I did not have the money to keep it out of repo and could not have afforded to pay to relaim it. I would not have it to get to work or the doctors. So I have to say it was an obvious choice to need to prolong it as long as possible (and hope I could make it til the tax money arived it). And at least my boyfriend is here to drive me around until he finds me a car. Yes he was going to help me in March if need be, so he will just help with this.

After all of the backround; what is the complaint? Well, repeatedly being treated badly, despite folowing the instruction given, full disclosure repeadly, paying consistently after being late (showing a low risk profile), and repeatedly promising to catch up in February, and they repo in the same month previously promised. In a time when banks have a bad rap, some banks (forclosures) are trying to be customer friendly but WF is rude from late day 1 of this car loan. The same economic issues are affecting my mortgage, yet BOA is trying to work with me but WF is the polar opposite. A home has more importance than a car, but it is a key factor for taking care of a child, medical needs, and to keep employment. Why is that lost on WF? Especially with the backround explained

I "feel" every word you said, and the part that "really BURNS" is that these are the same banks FIRST in line for a "bailout". I am glad you did not do business with the most corrupt, animals on the earth "affordable cars and trucks, and now after telling my story to state consumer agency's my truck came up missing from an apartment parking lot I was visiting, made it to a storage yard, every thing, but my Radio. My insurance, would not get truck out, I went over to yard, and a direct dependent of Hitler, refused to give me ANY info on who, why, my truck towed and "why did radio come out of dash. My home is full of moldy fiberglass insulation, lead, and "airborne" allergen's, on medication for allergies, no other place to live, the loan service's main office, acquired loan, illegally from New Century, sued out of that name, "at it again" NEW NAME", the LLC called said "we have Special deal with Texas, we can "force place" insurance in Texas !, not to worry!. If they had done their job in June 2008, when I agreed to add insurance, I would have been covered in Sept 2008 when "hurricane Ike hit. "Never have so Few, owed so Much, to so many ! Try to stay positive, and it is not easy!

Wells Fargo corrupt practices

From May of 2008 at the beginning on the housing bust, I owned the property at 8417 Lake Drive. After failed attempts to sail the property during this time, I begin renting the property and experienced pretty bad results given the inability to find good tenants. I evicted tenants in June of 2009. I requested of Wells Fargo a loan modification and entered a process of several months of filing paper documents, extensive phone calls and a great deal of incompetence given that the bank employees often gave very contradictory information regarding the modification. At one point in January 13, 2010, when I was told that the modification was not approved, I asked the Wells Fargo rep what I need to do to bring the loan current and I was informed to pay $6, 182.05 which I paid to end what had appeared to be six months of charades. I then proceeded to look for another tenant only to find out that Wells Fargo had still placed the loan in foreclosure status and used a portion of the above $6, 000+ to pay internal attorney fees which I had no knowledge of. In efforts to keep the property and honor the mortgage, I entered into an agreement with their attorneys to make exorbitant payments of over $1, 500 per month for a loan that was originally $1, 080 per month just to keep the house from going into foreclosure. I got new tenants in September of 2009 and when they ended their lease after 1 year to move to bigger space, I again sought Wells Fargo to modify the loan. When I begin to get letters offering me an option for a short sale of the property, I decided that this might be the best option. After approval to begin the short sales process in November of 2010 from Wells Fargo Mortgage, on December 6, 2010, I entered a sales contract to sell the home at a cost of $90, 000.

Wells Fargo requested all the financial documents and proceeded with the review of the loan, even though the realtor and I still fought to reverse foreclosure listings of the property during this time. On January 9, 2011, Wells Fargo countered the contract offer for the property at $94, 000 which was accepted by both the buyer and the seller. The buyer went back to his bank and got approval for the increased sales amount and approval, he proceeded to have the home inspected, appraised and move towards closing. After these events the realtor continued to request a closing date from the Loss Mitigation Adjustor so that we could prepare for closing. On February 10, 2011, Wells Fargo came back to the realtor with an offer for me as the seller to assume at $35, 000 note to pay the difference in the price of the home, even though they had agreed to a short sale. I informed them on this date that I was unemployed and unable to assume any new debt. Wells Fargo indicates that the Mortgage insurer, Radian Insurance, would not a forgiveness of the debt and would require the remaining balance. I declined to pay given that I did not have the financial means at the time, although they were basing my ability to pay on a good past credit history of making payments – Ironic in the whole of things. The Wells Adjustor advised that the deal was off. Although my realtor advised me to look at bankruptcy options at the time, I was not certain that I wanted to go this route. After a couple of days, I informed the realtor that I would take the note in spite of inability to pay at present; I would seek to find a way to pay the note when my income resumed. When the realtor represented the offer to the bank 2 days later, they refused to return any calls or emails.

The bank made a counter offer on January 9th given all indications that the proceedings were moving forward only to find out after 3 months of work to save the property and give it to an approved buyer that they would still refuse the offer. I am at a loss; but my guess is that something is wrong here and the bank will justify their reasons for having the federal government bail them out once again with our precious tax dollars. Are there any rights for me as the homeowner in all of this? Next foreclosure date is set for March 2nd, 2011.

Wells Fargo hamp fraud loan modification

I am bringing a civil lawsuit against Wells Fargo--defending myself-- and here is how I intend to sue.

I have sent a letter of demand to Wells Fargo Presidential Office stating that I am suing them on these issues.

Breech of Promise---They promised to handle My HAMP file and give me a speedy answer within a reasonable time Period.
It took them 4 months to say " No you are not eligible to be considered for the HAMP program.

I never even reached the trial stage. It is an answer which should have been immediately
issued upon taking the case file prelim information. Or 30 days after initial review.
My file wnet through numerous hands and two different loss mitigation units--Dallas and Phoenix---where I discussed the issue of my home and mailnig address. Many times I was questioned about it but no one gave me any indication they would reject my file based on two addresses. They were well aware of it and knew that it would probally raise a red flag but no one advised me to justify my address. Surely they would have commented on it had they not been collecting my monthly payments and convincing me to stay in the HAmp program/

Inducement--- Wellls Fargo induced me to file the paperwork when they could see immediately i would be rejected. They used it as a way to stall and coach payments from me..
I t follows a pattern well documented by many other homeowners in the program
It is the basis of a class action lawsuit out of New York City against ACS a division of Wells Fargo.

Intent to mislead, negligence, and not a sound mortgage servicing arrangment via HR

Because I was never late on a payment EVER ----------------------they held onto the file for 4 months or more while I badgered them with phone calls and then told me I was not eligible to enter the trial program because they considered this a second home. ( It is not---my personal mail just goes to my sister's house as we have no mail delivery here.) I pay all my bills online.
This is such an obvious fsct it would have been addressed before I even filled out the application and so obviously they wanted to just stall and appear as if they are adhering to the HAMP guidelines.

Violation of the " Do Not Call Act" and consumer protection Act against harrassment phone calls.
I was not a deliquent borrower---They were not attempting to collect a payment.
I asked them to stop the collection calls and they put a " do not contact" note on my file. I did not say don't contact me, I requested that they stop harrassing me with nonsensical and upsetting robo calls. I explained there were no grounds to call me asking for payment as they received their payment every month via direct deposit.
I asked only that they call me with legitimate requests regarding the loan modification application.
Many times I told the customer service agents to put in notes and when I called back the next day there were no notes on my file. I told them exactly what I wanted to state in my file and the reps ignored or twisted the message even as I quoted to them directly what I wanted them to type into the notes.

I am also suing them for violation of consumer protection laws as they peppered me with collection calls--- I was never ever late with a payment and I was only exercising my right to ask to be considered for the HAMP program. Yet I was treated and harrassed as a debtor even when I notified them to stop the calls repeatedly.
Because my file is under review does not given them permission to make harrassment calls to
myself and my immediate family.

Also they called numbers they did not have permisison to call.
A loan processor admitted to me that she was calling on a number buried in my file that she did not have permission to call.
It was my sister's house and I was very embarrassed that my relatives think I was in deot and getting collection calls.

At one point I turned off my own phone to stop the collection calls or RObo Calls from Wells Fargo

The HR 5679 Act in 2008 was intended and it is written in the HAMP program that consumers get an immediate answer and relief if possible ---that was thewhole intent of the bail out and legislation that consumers do not end up in neverland for 4 months waiting a bank response.
Sound mortgage servicing dictates that a customer is not deliberately misled or stalled in their efforts to seek loan remodification.

A class action lawsuit has begun against a division of Wells Fargo and attorneys very familiar

Wells Fargo took deposit made in error

Our firm made an error. We inadvertently completed a deposit ticket for a new client to Wachovia with an account number that belonged to a prior client. Upon finding the error we provided Wachovia with copies of all of the checks deposited along with the deposit receipt. Wachovia did their research and stated that they had taken the money out of the bank account that the money had been deposited to in error.

They then proceeded to tell us that although the money had been taken out of the account they could not remit the money back to the rightful owner. Even though the checks were all made payable to an association which did not have an account with Wachovia they responded by stating that they require that we contact the individual check signers for each check deposited and request that they contact their respective bank to request a refund from Wachovia individually.

Wells Fargo have a nice banking!

Don't waste your time with this branch and Staci Fraser. Even if the bank is very willing to loan you money, she wouldn't be able to process it. I wonder where they get those people, like winners of a contest "worst spelling and communication in the class, the best slacker of the year"... Customers at least deserve to deal with somebody who's able to build grammatically correct sentences, and also finish them.

We applied for a loan pre-approval in the end of September 2010, now it's mid-February 2011 and nothing is done. A few times she told us that it's finished, and she's sending a letter. Never did (probably, not literate enough to write it). Also (probably didn't like our names) she asked us to produce VISAS! Given, the required documentation for residents don't include any "visas" and we have none (GC holders from Canada, never needed visas). She also wouldn't answer her email/phone for over a month every time (her last explanation she wasn't in the office) and is not able to answer questions about the loan and problems about it. I've attached her email signature that looks kind of "facebookish".

In response to the wells fargo upset customer. I agree with you to a point. I used to be a Wachovia Customer and loved the bank.. It was bought and transitioned to Wells fargo this past weekend. Which I cannot control of course working in the banking industry and laid off due to a merger I understand completely. Well during the transition, the bank messed up my two accounts that I have for my minor children. I called Wells Fargo Customer service they explained to me I cannot talk to anyone because I am not my 5 yr old son or 3 yr old daughter. I explained well he is sitting right here what do you need him to verify? really a 5 yr old doesnt know his social and only partial of his bday and doesn't have a drivers license #. Get with it Wells Fargo...

Wells Fargo won't stop calling!

Late charges start being added on the 15th of the month and they start calling on the 3rd every month. By 9 am they have called twice. When I get home at end of day they have called 20 times throughout the day. How can this be financially advantageous to pay people to call nonstop? How can this result in customer satisfaction? All businesses have been effected by the economic downturn, it doesn't mean we treat our customers as if they are criminals and aren't going to pay their bills. I hate them and will never do business with them in the future.

Wells Fargo rep from wells fargo called and told me co-borrower frauded my sigbature

2nd person on the mortgage and deed. I was called in May 2010 by one of the loan originators stating that the other owner sent in a very defamting letter about me and they thought it was strange because the orignal hardship was that I was the care taker.
They futher looked into the situation and they said that any paperwork send in by co-owner has my signature appear and it does not match up with my siganture. The rep told me to stop the modification so I do not get in trouble. They told me that they would send me copies for me to verify...I had called the police and have a police report regarding this issue. Wells Fargo just kept coming up with excuses so I went to court to find out what I should do and was told that if Wells Fargo called me with this issue, it is their issue not mine. Wells Fargo disagrees and will not send me any of the paperwork with the fraud. The reps read to me that there is fraud everywhere on signature, letters, etc. I usually get switched around from dept to dept and then put on hold and they hang up. I have been paying the mortgage by myself and the other person has not paid since march and Wells Fargo will do nothing to help. They actually got me so upset one day that I dropped to the floor and thought I was having a heart attack. $6, 000 that I cannot afford. What do I have to do to get this taken care of? I can supply all back up of notes of over a thousand calls. Please someone help.

On April 21st and May 9th I posted comments on this site regarding problems with Wells Fargo. Since then I have written a number of letters to Wells Fargo and the Comptroller of the Currency and spoke with several, higher-level people with Wells Fargo. I have the names and addresses of the bank vice presidents if anyone wants to write letters. Wells Fargo's bank president is John G. Stumpf. His work address is: Wells Fargo Corporate Offices, 420 Montgomery St., San Francisco, CA 94104. His home address is 1090 Chestnut Ave., Apt.12, San Francisco, CA [protected].

For Wells Fargo it all comes down to taking your money and not honoring the interest rate that they promised. They refuse to refinance my mortgage that is already with them and they will not give me a refund of the $609 they took from me. Michael Salmon and Michael Dullea received their commisions as well as the title company and appraiser. Believe me, these people are liars and cheats and will wear you down. Wells Fargo does not have to answer to anyone. The Comptroller is a total joke and will just refer you back to the bank to resolve the issues. I am continuing to fight and may have a large number warning posters printed up and put on cars in their parking lot. For me, it's now a matter of principal, not money.

Wells Fargo delay in posting

I have a loan through wells fargo that my fiance and I used to finance furniture. We recently have had terrible service with them. I have 3 payments left on our furniture and until december 2010 have had no complaints but for the past two months I have. I use traditional mailing methods to get my bills paid. I understand that you must leave adequate time for the mail to run but should trust the bill gets posted within a week. I have always mailed my bill in 1 week before due date and for the past two months it has taken wells fargo close to 12 days (From the time the mail is post marked) to post to my account and they charge me a late fee. There argument is I should use online and that I can't always trust the mail. The problem I have with that is I mail out 2 other bills the very same day and they are posted way before wells fargo posts to my account, so its not the mail! It is wells fargo and their delayed, inefficient process which is only costing me more money! The funny thing too, is that this past month they thought they were doing me a favor by waiving the late fee! It makes me sick! I pay my bills on time every time and way more than the minimum. Funny how I am almost done paying off the furniture and I am all of a sudden having issues with my payment getting there on time? How can a company say its the mail service when I clearly have no other issues accept with them! I want to pay my bill on time!

Wells Fargo dishonest, untrustworthy, deceitful, lairs, misrepresentation and an employee that was worse

Wells Fargo Home Mortgage took our application for refinance on april 12, 2010. On November 18, 2010 were told our application had been cancelled due to lack of activity. During this time we had been keeping in touch with our representative, Kristy Couch and she had kept telling us it was almost ready, in about two weeks or she would just not return our calls.

We have not been able to get a satisfactory reply as to what really happened. We have contacted Mike Protono, Randy Rorick and Ana Garcia to no avail.

In all a horrible experience! I would never recemmend this firm.

I'm a realtor and I have worked two deals with Eric Mesa and Marie Meyer and Heather Howerton out of the Edmond, Oklahoma branch...and it has been the most absurd... unbelievable, incompetent...immature...never wanting to accept blame attitude I can't even put a name to it. I feel horrible for recommending to my two clients to Wells Fargo and having to watch what complete screw ups and non-professional so called Originator, Processor and Branch Manager they turned out to be. Every client had to re-submitt documents 2 and 3 and sometimes 4 times by fax or email. SOMEONE NEEDS TO MAKE THESE ###S ACCOUNTABLE...THIS CAN'T KEEP GOING ON!
i'M GOING TO THE TOP OF THE BRANC MANAGER HEATHER HOWERTON(who they all sound like a group of non-educated teenagers) and email him pages after pages of lies and misrepresentations by Wells Fargo.

PLEASE...SAVE YOURSELF THE GRIEF AND PASS THIS ALONG TO EVERYONE...DO NOT USE WELLS FARGO HOME MORTGAGE.

Wells Fargo shell game with home loan interest rates

I am a well off retired person (thank goodness). We sold our home in Southern California seven months ago. We found our dream / retirement home in the Central Coast area of California. A local realtor suggested a private mortgage banker at a local Wells Fargo Bank. Since we are retired we had to qualify for a non-conforming loan ($565, 000 selling price / $475, 000 down / $90, 000 to be financed). Everything went fine until we were told that the 5.50% interest rate that we were quoted would only be honored if we opened a checking account at Wells Fargo so that they could automatically pull the impounded fees for the loan (PITI). Additionally, if we opened a savings account with Wells Fargo and deposited at least $70 / month, the bank would waive the $15 / month service fee for the checking account. If we stayed with our current credit union to repay the loan, then the interest rate would be 5.75% on the loan. None of this was explained "up front", and only mentioned once we had qualified for the loan. What a scam and rip-off! I would advise any prospective home loan shopper not even to consider the usuary techniques and shady business policies of Wells Fargo Bank.

Wells Fargo can't provide payoff letter

I we are a very unhappy business customer.

I have been a business customer of Wells Fargo for a few years. We had a $200K line of credit until about a year and a half ago when the loan was called due, not re-new able. We paid it off in full. Wells Fargo has never filed the UCC form to release this. I am currently working with another bank to get another loan. I need a statement from Wells Fargo stating the loan has been paid off in full. Megan McAlpine just told me there’s nothing she can do and since were taking our business to another bank, don’t bother her anymore. THIS IS WRONG. The fact that Wells Fargo is still showing up as a negative on our business Experian report and Wells will not correct it is hurting our business. Do I have to file a law suit to get action?

I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU HAVE SOMEONE LIKE Megan Mc Alpine as a “Business Specialist”

Please inform us as to Wells Fargo’s intentions so I may proceed.

Wells Fargo irvine ca location

I had my car repossesed on a Wednesday. I called the dept. and they said I could not get any information for 48 hours but I called the next day anyway, spoke to George in the reinstatement dept. He said I would receive a letter stating the dollar amount or pay the amount he quotes me now. I told him I would pay now and his comment was you cant pay it so your car is already gone to auction including my personal items in it and why am I wasting his time. I asked for a supervisor but was told not available. This was Thursday, I called back spoke to Ivan he gave me the information where to send the money via money gram so I did. He gave me the number where my car and my personal items were. It was a company called 7 Star in Santa Ana. I left 11 messages, Thursday, Friday, and no return call, it was a answering service I was dealing with. So, on Friday called Wells Fargo back and of course George answered, he told me a address to pick my car up. When I got there it was a UPS mailbox location. I called back Wells Fargo it was now 3:00 and they said everyone has left in that dept and have to call on Monday. Today is Monday still no car and nobody to contact. By law I believe I am suppose to get my personal items as soon as possible. I had money and jewelry in my car. I am screwed now. Does anyone know what I can do about this? I understand it was my fault not being able to pay on time but I paid and I should not receive this kind of abuse? Let me know, I still do not know where my mercedes and personal items are. HELP...

Hello current and future customers;

I also, brought my car under Wachovia dealer services, and the customer service was wonderful. Then Wachovia was brought out by well Fargo Services, a nightmare. If you having a problem paying the car payment, due to unemployment good luck they are so, rude and their managers the same, they do not want to work with you, they read of a card, so they do not listen, to what you are saying. They are quit to tell you are being recorded. You know, you can request a copy of the record tape or you can tell then, you wish not to be recorded. When calling or Answering, let them know they are being record too. Used your tape recorder to record those conversations. This way your paper trail is a voice recorded when talking to them FYI

i've been being harrassed daily by Sue at Wells Fargo. my payment is late because they are claiming there is a lapse in my insurance coverage. Sue pretends like she knows all about this but when i called customer service to complain i was told she doesn't have access to that kind of information. Sue has also belittled me about just coming off of a defferment(which was months ago and when i told her that and that it didn't sound as if she had her facts straight she threatened to have it revoked). she tries to embarrass me and attacks me on a personal level, asking "when i am going to get my act together and start paying my bills." her and other employees of that office have tried pressuring me into turning over my car and Sue has asked where she can send the repo truck; my payment is not even past 20 days overdue.

Wells Fargo loan modification

We have been struggling to pay our mortgage for some time. In short Wellsfargo has reviewed our situation over and over for a solution. They finnaly modifed our loan. However we later found out that we were not approved for a HAMP modification. This means that any fees or moneys owed had to be repayed rather then being put on the balance. The lender can not allow us a repayment plan according to their guidlines. We do not have $28, 000 dollars to give them. That is the amount they are asking for. This is an outrages amount and we don;t feel it is correct. They have made many many mistakes during this process. We have no choice now but to proceed with liquidation. We believe that we have been repeatedly lied to and forced into forcloser. If the lender would lower our interest rate to 2% or 2.5% for the life of the loan we would be able to stay in our home and pay back all money owed. Is there someone that can negotiate this for us? Wellsfargo keeps stone walling and lieing. They will not even allow me the contact infomation for our lender as I would like to reach out to them personally. Also if we forclose we are scared to death of a deficiancy judgement. Please advise us on these issues. Thank you, Jon and Maria Simenson

Wells Fargo rude employees

I have also had a very bad experience dealing w / the employees of wells fargo auto finance. The people that answer the phone are generally nice, but can not help you with your account. They will then transfer you to the rudest people you could ever possible encounter anywhere. I was admitted to the hospital for a month in 2008 & requested to defer my payment, as I would have no income for that month. They were very rude to me and basically told me that it wasn't their problem & the payment was due in full, or would go to their collection board. After a month of arguing with them & talking to rude supervisor after rude supervisor, they finally deferred my payment. But, now any time I have to call customer service for any reason, they are beyond rude. I will never use them again & would advise anyone else considering a loan through them, to not. They could care less about the hardships facing their customer's, especially since the recession. This is as heartless a company as i've ever had to deal with.

My chief complaint is that the employees that call my house are very rude to me. I get several calls from different people that are not talking to each other about speaking to me. I have received three or more calls a day from different people. I am getting tired of being harassed by them. I pay my bills.

I have never had to deal with people like this, this is by far the worst company I have ever come across. They have the rudest employees I have ever spoken with. I have had them go as far as telling me it's not their problem, I owe the money so I need to find any way possible to pay it. I've never been rude to them on the phone, I have always been polite and more than once I have been hung up on. I have had account managers tell me to sell everything I own on ebay or craigslist to make sure I get my payments made. That is beyond ridiculous. They will call you 45 times a day starting at 8:00 a.m. up until 9:00 p.m., most of the time never leaving msgs and when they do leave a msg and you return the call they have no idea what you are talking about. You make arrangements with them, and they tell you they don't have any proof of that. I have had them run ACH debits through my checking accout without my permission overdrafting my account up until the point my bank refused to honor any ACH payments from anywhere and actually froze my checking account. They are the most ruthless company I have ever come across. I would never reccommend using them for any financial needs. They say they record the conversations but not once are they able to pull up these conversations when you say something. They would probably tell you to sell your baby on the black market if it would make your car payment. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN, DO NOT USE THEM!

I am SICK of Wells Fargo calling my phone (home) and cell phone at least 5 times per day because I'm THREE DAYS LATE on a payment for our truck! My gosh, this is insanity and I WILL NEVER EVER finance anything with them again. 3 days? Come on Wells Fargo people -- 3 days! This should be illegal! I ALWAYS pay my bills -- I've never ever been over 30 days late on ANY loan I've ever had and usually pay them before the due date, I just happened to finance my daughters vehicle and I just wait for her to send me the payment, then I can pay Wells Fargo -- I've about had it now though --- I can expect EVERY MONTH if it goes over THREE DAYS -- for them to harrass the snot out of me - I know now that it's "toll free svc" on my phone so I never answer them...cuz I've had enough. Now to find a credit card with a low interest for the life of the card -- and pay these idiots off!

Wells Fargo refinance scam

I paid the $450.00 Appraisal - was told when enquiring that it would take around 30 days to complete the refinance. This was in September 2010. Yesterday, January 11th 2011 I had made 12 telephone calls and left 2 voicemails requesting a returned phone call to the manager of the guy that was dealing with my loan to complain. I still avent had a call back.

WELLS FARGO is the biggest SCAM out there !

Today I am already in the closing process of my refinance with Loan Depot and couldnt be happier - I still want my $450 back - out of principal - these guys are a bunch of monkeys playing with peoples money and completely dishonest. I have it in email written form that the guys from wells fargo had claimed to me it would take around 30 days to complete the refinance - which was a bod lie - the avaerage it takes Wells Fargo to complete a refinanace is 120 days - lies lies lies !

Dont trust Wells Fargo - I hope karma comes and kicks them in the butt - we need less banks like these - am disgusted that they can get away with it - Anyone think its worth going to small claims over? Or seeing as they are scamming so many of us - cant we go to FOX or CNN and get them to report on it and let everyone out there know not to trust Wells Fargo !

I applied for a refinance with Wells Fargo 5 months ago and was presently surprisefd to be conditionally approved about three weeks into the process. I was sceptical since my research into the company pulled up so many complaints. After many delays, expenses and fees, monthly pulls of my credit report, unreasonable and duplicate requests for information, and general incompetence, i received notice today that a refinance on my home was considered too risky. It seems WF could have given me this response a long time ago. I am now applying to with another company just to avoid dealing with this despicable one.

I have been working with WF since August 2010 to refinance. We have given them every inch of our lives between paperwork, time invested for "good faith", etc. When I call, I'm given that it's still with underwriting. How many UW are there for one file? Is there anyone I can talk to who knows my file. I've been suspicious for the past few months that is a scam and I'm going to be on 20/20, after losing all that I have invested, especially the time and effort on this refinancing. Come on, guys what gives? We have the $ for closing, which is quite a large sum. Would another company help me out without charging me a "good faith" fee, appraisal, etc. Can someone help to get our home refinanced?

Wells Fargo foreclosure

Today we were served with foreclosure papers. We have never missed a payment or been late on one! We received a letter in the summer saying they were going to foreclose; we called and they assured us it was all a big mistake, then today (1.15.2011) we received these papers. This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with, and am hoping my attorney will sue for harrassment! For months we have been in contact with them and have asked for a letter to prove we were okay, and they promise it but it never comes. Our attorney wrote a letter and it still didn't stop! Guess we will be out on the street in a few weeks--with our previously perfect credit and proof we never missed a payment...

I fell behind on payment due to job loss. they put me in foreclosure right away. I came up with $2000 and they told me 3 months on time payments and they'll lower the payments to my new income. after the 3rd month, they told me I need $7000 for past due fees. Then they said $2000 a month until I catch up. now I'm back in foreclosure. I'm not paying them nothing, I'm calling a attorney! Thanks Wells Fargo for working with me.

On Jan 2011 I had mediation with my attorney Wells Fargo attorney aWells Fargo rep on phone conferance and a mediator who was an attorney. In writing it was agreed by everyone that all my papers were submitted to be reviewed for modification and foreclosure proceedings would stop pending a decision. In May 2011 I received notice from wells fargo's attorney stating that they are going ahead with foreclosure because I did not adhear to the agreement from mediation, well there was no agreement for me to adhear to, but there was one for Wells Forgo that was broken. When I called Wells Fargo, I was told that my loan was closed 12/2010 and was NEVER re opened to review my papers which were accepted by their attorney at mediation Jan 2011.A call was placed to Wells Fargo's attorney and a rep stated they were told by wells fargo to continue with foreclosure. This is sad when Wells Fargo goes back on their own agreement and no one has a straight answer.I feel helpless.Does anyone know who i should turn to .

Wells Fargo ill-mannered collections manager

I received a call from a Wells Fargo Collections Manager in regards to my student loans. I am currently in school so it was strange to me why this lender wanted to speak with me so urgently. As he started he said that my loan was in collections and I needed to pay (an absurd amount) or else. I began to explain that I should not even be in collections and suggested that he go back in the paperwork and research. He stated "that is not my job and I really don't care...you need to pay...you better ask mommy or daddy for the money!" I continued to try to explain that I was responsible and called my school to fax a letter to the student loan department stating that I was currently enrolled. Again, he made additional comments stating that I was trying to be evasive and not pay. I tried to explain to him that I am a student with Multiple Sclerosis and I live at home he seem to become inflamed at that point and started making crazy accusations, cutting me off and just repeating that my situation is not his problem, he really does not care and basically I don't want to pay the interest on the loan. At that point I got angry and made it clear that I was getting upset. I then made the decision to hang up the phone and file a complaint. I do not appreciate being bullied over the phone nor will I tolerate being made to look like a deadbeat dirt bag that can't handle responsibility! If that is the way Wells Fargo wants to do business I suggest bringing that kind of attitude to my door because I can guarantee that he would never say that to my face. People like this hide behind technology..I'm old fashion and I believe in respect no matter what! I have also done his job before!
