woolworths caesar salad tub
16/05/18
I purchased a Caesar salad for Woolworths in orange NSW and found several strands of black hair in my salad. Nobody in my house has black hair so it can't have been from this. As I live 20 minutes away from Orange it seemed unreasonable to drive back in because of this although it had left me without dinner. If this could be fixed it would be greatly appreciated not for money purposes but rather because it was unhygienic and made me feel nauseous. Can you please make sure that this does not happen again to anyone.
Thankyou
product : woolworths brand - beef stroganoff with rice
The picture on the product shows a substantial amount of meat and mushrooms in the serve. I was disappointed to find that the product was mostly sauce with one strip of beef and no mushrooms (although there may have been some very small pieces in the sauce). According to the ingredients there should be 29% beef. There was not 100g of beef in the meal.
As I paid $8.50 for the meal it was not value for money. The product did not meet your motto of good quality food.
I am not able to return the product as it was already heated and opened before I discovered the poor quality. Am I able to get a refund if I take the docket back to the store?
woolworths chunky beef stock pot 98% fat free.
I recently bought a can of Woolworths chunky beef stockpot 98% fat free. When I came to eat it I found a large amount of fatty grizzle in it. I had to through it away as I could not eat it, the stockpot was supposed to be 98% fat free. I have photos as proof if requested. The bar code of product is [protected]. Could you please look into this complaint & get back to me. My e-mail : [protected]@gmail.com

flowers
On Sunday (Mothers Day) my husband purchased me a bouquet of flowers from your Vincentia Store. The cost was $30. He bought them straight home. Being a male he did not recognize how stale and non fresh they were. One I took them out of the wrapping all the rose leafs started to fall off and by the 2nd Day the were all brown. Being Mothers Day the prices are nearly double but to find that the quality was so inferior is extremely disappointing.
bottle water
Went to open a 1.5L woolworths spring water branded bottle. As I went to twist the lid open a shard of the plastic bottle embedded itself into the palm of my right hand. This was extremely painful and difficult to remove and I urge woolworths to inspect all bottles for similar faults as I consider this to be dangerous in the hands of a young child.
shop cleanliness
I am from Kempsey and travelled down to Sydney to watch an AFL game and stayed in a motel called Meriton Suites and was across the road from a mall called Macquarie Centre. My family decided to go into the Woolworth's shop in the centre, to get snacks. Once inside the place was disgusting, the floor was like a bomb hit it, the shopping baskets were so high no customers could reach one or if they could it would fall on them. There was empty cages on the ground which is not allowed because I work at Woolworth's Kempsey, produce was of bad quality, the shop floor had marks all over it. Workers were spreading the mess and not cleaning it. Most disappointing was the store manager obviously does not show pride in his store and you guys need to send the area manager around to that store because if there was another shopping store in the surrounding areas I would have left Woolworth's, no joke
beef ragu woolworths brand
Hi
Please see attached photo. I was very disappointed to find that close to 50% of the beef in this meal was sinew and unable to be eaten. I have never had any issues before with your ready made meals so I am hoping this is a once off.
I have been a loyal customer for over 30 years and find these meals very convenient with a busy family lifestyle. I hope I can be compensated in some way.
I look forward to your response

customer service
I was at Woolworths in Cherrybrook NSW in the meat section. Two Woolworths male employees were chatting to each other and I excused myself to interrupt them (they clearly were not going to ask if I needed any help) and I asked if they had any sausage roll mince.. one of them pointed to a roll of beef mince and said "that's it" It wasn't what I was after I replied that sausage roll mince was a few different minces combined. They looked at me as if I had two heads. So I moved away and then heard them mock me behind my back in a childish manner.. these were not young men either.. one was possibly some form of manager..
I was shocked. I complained to a manager at the front - I think her name was Sue. - No complaint with her at all - though I will never shop at this -or any other- Woolworths again.
service
11th May 2018
After shopping, I put my bags into the car where one bag burst open, it only had a packet of biscuits & chips.
I went back to the store where I approached the manager.
A blond hair lady. I have often seen her talking loudly to her staff but this time it was me a customer.
Talking loudly, Snatching the split bag.
Saying it only takes a sharp corner to split.
Never asked if the contents of the bag was ok.
I was brushed off with, next month, this will not be a problem.
No apology
This was the worse customer I have come accross.
Worse customer service from a manager I have come across
200g choccy slams
I purchased a pack of these recently and after eating a couple, I was horrified to find foreign matter in my mouth.
I am a little concerned that this 'plastic shard' was not detected prior to a customer actually eating one.
What if I had actually swallowed it or worse still a child had consumed it.
I do not usually worry about things like this, but I feel this warranted a complaint.
I attempted to load photos taken on my iphone but they would not load.
Please take this matter seriously

the fruit that is given to the children at my child care centre is appalling.
This would be the fourth time that I'm making this complaint, this time I'm doing it online as I don't have the time to wait to complain in person. The watermelon that is being delivered to the centre is off or only last for a day which is unexceptable I have complained about this several times and it is still happening.
This week I had to put on a mothers day event and even though I ordered enough watermelon to serve at this event. I had to throw it away and physically go out after work and buy some more and this I did at coles.
I stress that I want you to realise that the fruit I am serving is going to children and I would be extremely upset to be serving food that you would have to throw out, this is actually dangerous and could potentially make them very ill.
I realise that my groceries are picked from the eastlakes store and would appreciate that this does not happen anymore.
If nothing is done about this I will certainly take it further and contact the health dept, as you would understand I am responsible for what goes in the mouths of these babes.

woolworths employee
I just was at Woolworths south fremantle.
I was rudely approached by a worker that I had knocked over shampoo and didn't inform her. I tried to tell he that I had been helping another lady who had accidentally knocked over some shampoos. She wouldn't listen and kept saying it was me. I felt very uncomfortable and made my way to the register. She then told someone else again voicing that I did it and I was now quite emotional. I was then guilted into purchasing one of the bottles. I will never shop there again.

I purchased sweet and Smokey bbq chicken kebabs last saturday gone. I cooked up Monday night to find what looks to be the plastic that you find on clothing to hold the tags on with..?
I do have photo's of what appeared to be place in my kebabs.

kingland yogurt
I am very disappointed to see that the above product will no longer be stocked at Woolworths. I buy this product regularly for my 2 year old son who is allergic to dairy, amongst other foods. I will now have to shop elsewhere which is very inconvenient.
I do hope you reconsider and re-stock this product as soon as possible.

bakery person
This morning I was shopping in your Brunswick store and I picked up a loaf of bread and asked an employee (in the bakery section) if this loaf was today's bread, her reply was Extremely rude with a bad attitude...her reply was: " Of course it's todays bread and I have been up since 1.30am" my reply was "so that's my fault is it"...I then made it a point to find the store manager to address my concerns. I would like to say that she has put a damper on my mood because of her attitude. I will think twice to visit that store again.

fruit and veg.
This is now the 3rd time - totally fed up
You are not the 'fresh food people' - your fruit is old, stale and no taste.
About 1 x week ago - mandarins - all dry inside no taste - I threw them away.
Late last week 2 x avocados (on special 2 for $4.00) both black inside - again had to threw away.
Today - apples - decided to have one for lunch - dry, bruised inside no taste.
I work and have little time for lunch and your crows nest store is handy to my work place.
I work for a living and having to threw good food away when I paid for what the store calls 'fresh food people' really now upsets me. This is now 3 x times and totally fed up angry and want to voice my anger to woolworths.
If I had the time I would go back to the store re this matters, but when I finish work I have little time to do anything but get home to feed my family.
I am so angry about this, as i'm supporting woolworths but woolworths is doing the wrong thing with their regular customers - your products are not fresh.
I was told by one of your staff once that you store fruit and vegetable in fringe and sometimes the fruit or veg is moths old.
This would explain the no taste, dry and bruised product.
Woolworth look after your customers otherwise we will go elsewhere.

danger with woolworths delivery trucks route accessing and leaving loading dock
I live in an apartment on the corner of Hall Street and Ravenshaw Street Newcastle West NSW. We are opposite the rear of the Marketown complex containing both a Big W, Dan Murphys and Woolworths supermarket. The entrance to the loading dock is from Ravenshaw Street.
My concern is a safety one with the 'route' the large Woolworths delivery trucks are taking on exiting the loading dock area. Currently they are turning left to exit (into Ravenshaw Street) and rather than continuing on the street which gives them direct access to King Street - which is the main thoroughfare out of Newcastle - they are seemingly taking a 'rat run' by turning a sharp right into Hall street then left into Arnott Street then right into Bull Street and then left into Union Street THEN left into King Street. Why, I do not know! The safety issue is this. As they turn a sharp right into Hall street on leaving the loading dock - directly to the right, hidden from view from drivers as they turn into Hall Street is a dance school. Hundreds of children and their families come for lessons here each week and it really is just an accident waiting to happen - for a young child or parent to be crossing the road as a large Woolworth truck cuts the corner. I would appreciate if this could be addressed. If there is a legitimate reason why they need to turn into Hall street then I would be pleased to hear this - otherwise, is it possible to request that delivery trucks exit Northwards via Ravenshaw Street and avoid the sharp and unsafe turn into Hall Street! There are many many residents who are concerned about this. Kind regards Kim Farrell. Happy to discuss. [protected] [protected]@hotmail.com
customer service complaint
approx 11.30 8/5/18 I attended the Ingleburn Woolworths store. After getting what i needed, i proceeded to the check out area. All check out registers were closed. I then proceeded to the self service checkouts.
I was shopping with my 3 year old Autistic daughter, she likes to help when we go through the self service. We were almost finished our items when we were approached by a staff member named Prem ( not sure of spelling) . She came straight up, went to my bags and started to remove the items. She told me that I had put items in the bags that had not been scanned. She then told me that i had stolen items and continued to pull my items out.
I was blown away by how rude she was. By this stage i was embarrassed and my daughter was upset because she wasn't able to continue with her scanning.
i continued to tell the worker that all items had been scanned. She continued to search the bag and match the items . She went for the most expensive items first. I had to point out the items to show her that i had scanned them. Once was an electric toothbrush and the other was razor blades.
I looked up and i felt everyone was watching me and became very embarrassed and upset.
I couldnt believe that she was not giving up on finding these apparent stolen items.
I was then approached by a staff member who was actually monitoring the area. I looked at her and said " this woman is so rude, ive done nothing wrong but she wont stop" she then took over from the rude service lady.
Straight away she looked and counted all items and all items had been scanned. What i had done was scan 3 packs of soup, i had scanned 3 but one flavor twice so one flavor wasn't on the screen but i still had scanned 3. If the other lady had of spoken to me then i could of worked that out quicker and solved the whole issue.
She then helped me process my sale which took a while as i had 5 gift cards. I am very thankful to this person and i wish i knew her name.
To Prem, the staff member that made me feel worthless, embarrassed, degraded, and
humiliated i have never walked out of a store and felt so unhappy and disappointed with the service and felt i targeted in a very unprofessional way. I will not be returning to this store.
I am making this complaint so no other person has to feel the way that i felt today. There are more professional ways that this could of been dealt with and i believe that this staff member needs more training to learn how to deal with this. I understand that profit loss it huge but you cant treat everyone as a criminal.
online delivery website for remote location
Woolworths online delivery website is almost impossible to use for large deliveries. You only get 5-10 minutes to make later changes before your order is cancelled is & your payment refunded. It then takes three working days to go back into your account. Several changes mean that around $1000 can be out of your account - so then how do you pay other bills & for the original order? You tell me! Coles takes the money out the day before the delivery & gives me enough time to make changes so my order is not cancelled. Can't see why Wooworths can't do the same thing & give customers time to make changes & take money out on the day the order is going to be packed.
I can't see how they expect to survive making such huge errors of judgement. Resembles a giant white elephant.
Woolworths online website is impossible for large Magnetic Island deliveries. This is because order changes must be made in about 5-10 minutes time before the order is cancelled & the payment refunded to the bank account. It will take three working days to go back into an account. Coles takes money the day before the delivery.
