Today I was shopping at the Yankee Candle store at the Holyoke Mall location. While shopping, I noticed a sign that read "Buy 3, get 3 free EVERYTHING in the store (picture below). After reading this, I proceeded to ask an employee on the floor if the small tumbler candles were included in this offer seeing as they were on sale at $5 a candle. After asking this, the employee assured me that these were part of the deal and that the only items excluded on the deal were the Woodwick and Personalized Photo Candles as displayed on the signs that were all over the store. As I got to the checkout, the cashier informed me that the six candles that I had were in fact not included in the "Buy 3, Get 3" deal. She then refused to give me the deal even though I was quoted by another employee. I found this to be very misleading, as I told her that one of the employees in the store had told me that these were indeed part of the sale after showing her the exact candles that I brought to the register with me. I'm very disappointed in the service I received today at this location.

hello i buy a lot of Yankee candles and as of late i have found that they are burning down very quickly and the wick burning before the wax has i spend a lot of money on this product could you explain why this is happening please i am a great admirer of this product and do not really want to stop buying your products i would love to hear what you think thanks very much.

Yankee candle is a great product however the customer service I experienced on 7th October 2017 was horrible and embarrassing the coupon RETAILMENOT put out was WRONG however as a COMPANY you should have expressed online as well or on your store front window that the coupon was incorrect instead of having people come to the store get items and get to check out thinking it’s one thing and it’s not I expressed to the cashier Logan that a family member just had used the coupon and was honored it and it was not fair that it was not honored to somebody who specifically came to the store for that reason I always called customer service and was just offered my shipping to be waived I will never go back to Yankee candle I’ll stick to bath and body works

I buy a lot of Yankee candles as I think they are the best they burn longer and the choice of fragrant and size are great however today 25th August 2017 I am sorry to say that one shattered on my dining room table luckily we had not sat down to dinner if we had been seated some one could have been hurt.
I will buy your product again but restrict where it is put in case it shatters again.

I am writing a complaint to your company due to one of your candles causing my bathroom mirror to break. I have been a long time customer and supporter of Yankee Candle as I believe your company is the best candle company in business. However, recently, I bought one of your candles and I lit the candle and put it in my bathroom. I left it on for a couple hours and when I went and blew out the candle, the flame caused a large crack in my bathroom mirror. I believe this transpired because the flame in this specific candle comes up much higher than the sides of the candle, making the flame able to touch other objects. This is a big problem. It will not be an easy fix and the crack in our mirror will cost us about at least $500, which is outrageous. I was wondering if I could submit a claim to Yankee Candle for this damage. I really hope that you guys can find a way to fix this problem with your candles.
air freshener
I bought a yankee air freshener 2 days ago and hung it in my car according to the instructions. It was 70 degrees out today and the material inside the car freshener melted through the plastic cellophane packaging, dropped onto my dashboard and caused $750 worth of damage to my dash in my car that is less than a year old. Please advise how to submit a claim to your company for the damages caused.
over charged 3 times
I placed an order on April 30, 2017 I had tried to place the order and it kept saying denied after reviewing my bank statement I was charged 265.00 three additional times which is not correct... I need this issue fixed please or we can cancel the entire order and I'll find another place to buy my candles this has never been an issue with yankee candle and I've been a valued customer for many years but yankee candle just drained my banking account and put me into overdraft fees when I never even received a confirmation number saying my order had been placed... I did not place three orders and did not authorize three separate transactions in the amount of 265.00 three times. I need this fixed in a fast timely manor as now I'm in overdraft with my bank. Please help

I bought a large yankee candle "honey lavender gelato" at Cracker Barrel in pennsville New Jersey it's horrible there's no scent in the candle whatsoever I'm not pleased I've spent thousands on yankee product this has me thinking twice I've bought sprays tarts candles I have at least 10 candles now I give them as gifts I'm just glad I didn't give this one I'm hoping to hear back from someone please thank you on advance
black plum blossom yankee candle
I have enjoyed my candle and the lovely perfum for 6 months. (623g)
However on Christmas Day when it was nearing the end of the candle it exploded. Shattering the candle and scratching my table!
Apart from frightening everyone luckily there were no injuries...however I am now very disappointed in the product needless to say.
I do not have the receipt but would appreciate a refund plus some compensation for my scratched table.

I ordered a personalized candle on 12/18 and never received a confirmation. I contacted customer service and they said they had no record and to reorder the candle. I reordered it on 12/20. On 12/21, my friend received the original candle. I got the shipping information for the second candle to arrive on 12/22. It is embarrassing to have her send back one of the candles. I was advised to order a second one when it was your mistake to not have the record/confirmation of the first one. I do not want to be charged for both candles. I do not want to have to have my friend return one of the candles -- it is a hassle for her and awkward to return a gift. I have ordered 4 personalized candles this holiday season and have loved them all! I do not want this one bad experience to ruin my yankee candle mindset.

I have been using Yankee candles for years and although find them expensive, they are worth it as they burn evenly.
However, the smaller size ones see. To have the same issue I am complaining about but the 411g one in particular I am do disappointed in.
A quarter left, at at £19 each, isn't cheap but it has completely gone out...I ise the Yankee snuffed each time and have never had this issue with this size of candle before.
Very annoyed.

I have purchased several candles from www.yankeecandle.com and I must say that these candles were very expensive. But I heard a lot about YankeeCandle website and wanted to buy some of their famous great smelling candles. When I received my order I was very disappointed and the worst part was that there was absolutely no smell. I checked closely and learned that these were not the ones that I have ordered. After contacting customer service I sent the wrong ones back and they promised me a replacement. Weeks passed and nothing arrived and then they just stopped replying to my messages!

Black friday i went with my grand daughter to the mall where an associate at this store decided to take it on her self to tell my little grand daughter she was really really bad. She had picked up a small candle not breakable to smell which she has done many times. But this one time with this woman yelling telling her how bad she was it brought her to tears and she won't ever go back. I wrote the manager and she apologized in a letter stating that she took care of it and would like to send me a candle.My reply back was my grand daughters address and i wanted it sent to her for she was the one that was hurt. She never received it. So this manager is filled with a bunch of bull. I doubt now she took this to heart and took care of the situtation
My two large Yankee Candles have no smell! Just smell of soot and smoky. they are unusable! I bought them from house of Frazier via Amazon. When i sent a message asking for a return and a refund, I eventually got a reply saying a refund would be given if the candles are unused! Unused the candles were fine and smelt really nice! It is crazy! I can not use them and I am £40 out of pocket! I am very upset.

I have purchased several jar lamp shades for all different seasons, and as of recently, once they are on the candle they crack due to the heat. I am very upset at this since they are very price and they are supposed go with the candles I purchase form Yankee Candle stores. What to do next?
votive candles
I guess it must be since they've had a new owner, I did not know they had one, I notice they package their votive candle in a different way. With the candle being exposed to the air. I was wondering if that was causing the loss of scent I was experiencing. At just about $2.00 a candle, it adds up. To a house full of no fragrance. So disappointed.

Well in ague's 2015t I got 4 large candles for my bday scents are midnight summer and midnight jasmine which were strong smelling candles at one time, now no smell a lots of black smoke, the worst and I won't buy no more. I still have 2 untouched jars and the other 2 have been burnt for 8 hours each and no smell. Very unhappy. I tried the other after first one didn't smell thought it could of been a bad batch so I tried the other and nope. I went to the new store in melbourne fl mall I brought a new votive smell and no smell on that either.

I purchased $100. in candles, I don't smell anything! I understand Yankee was purchased by another company. Has the quality of the candles been decreased? Somebody in quality control needs to do a better job of testing OR Yankee needs to stop short cutting on the oil used. These candles are not cheap so I expect a lot more then I've received!
I agree! No smell at all. I bought 10 candles, not knowing that the company had been sold, and under the impression that I would be getting the awesome housewarmer candles that would last and have strong and amazing scents to fill my tiny house of 1367 sqft...WRONG! I burn the candle on my computer desk and unless I am sitting right next to it, and if then, I can barely smell it. It's almost like the new owners want to lose customers or have a personal preference of not liking strong scents or something. Well, their personal preference on scent intensity is not what sells candles. Yankee Candle is synonymous with STRONG SCENTED candles and that is why people buy them and loved them. Now...nothing. I am stuck with 9 large candles that I guess I will have to buy oil to enhance the scents. Yankee Candle better ship up and make the candles with the quality that they once were. I am sooooooooooo disappointed I could scream.
no smell (and black soot) & customer service attitude
I recently bought a 22 oz. shortbread cookie yankee candle @ a local store. it has no smell at all! i called the 800# of yankee candle to ask for a coupon to replace the candle or to see if they would send me a replacement. their customer service rep (jim) was very rude. he told me to return the candle to the store where i bought it, and when i told him that would not be convenient as i bought it @ a store near my friends house (20 miles) away and not near my home. he just kept repeating "once again, i am telling you to return it to the store" like a robot, saying it several times to me over & over. not acknowledging my statements at all. he was a very rude to me. i was a yankee candle customer of many years, having several of their tart warmers, etc. this company is seriously going to loose customers, including me. don't they want to promote good will, and have their customers satisfied and come back to purchase their product again? i think not.
