I was forced to sign a restraining order along with the rest of the management team against my on again off again boyfriend. It seemed ridiculous, but I really wanted to keep my job so i agreed without hesitation. Truth be told he was a good customer until someone in the kitchen who we will call "jason" made him a finger sandwich meal that needed a straw. The entire box was full of sauce we have pictures to prove it. Now my sometimes boyfriend was angry no doubt. To make a long story short my boss didn't do anything about this so "jason" is obviously more important to my former boss than I a member of his management team or a good customer that only came through the drive thru 5or 6 times a week. That is how "Jason" was so familiar with his voice and knew it was him. So my little hot to cold relationship suddenly became the whole worlds business and although I complied to the ridiculous restraining order this is what I got... To: Deidre Wilson

After receiving telephone call on 7-10-08 from Jimmy Scott Garrett to me which is a violation of the restraining order i have in place that names him, and other information that has come to my attention, I have decided to place you on indefinite suspension of your employment pending further investigation of him and his harassment of Zaxby's employees and managers. Blah Blah Blah! First he is scared of him Ha!Ha! Now he takes the information he gets from a man he has a restraining order against and uses that as the basis to place a manager, me, on indefinite suspension and then leave on a two week hunting trip.
I have always been loyal and gave 100% even after the ridiculous restraining order. It took me all the way to the unemployment office, hard work rewarded.
I have met this man when I had trouble with my order in the drive thru. I ordered about thirty dollars worth of food and ten chicken fingers were left out. He acted as if I were a common thief and asked me for my reciept and the rest of the food. I had to go back out to my car in the rain to find I was not given a receipt. I heard a comment about my intelligence or a lack there of and left. I am sorry for anyone with such an employer.
I dont really know about the Zaxbys in your area...I have have just started working at the new one in my town. So far it is awesome, The managment is amazing and they tell us that customers are always to have the best experiance nomatter how bad of a mood we are in or no matter how rude they are being to us. They are always to be greeted with a smile and have whatever problem there is fixed in the way that pleases them best...I just i would say that so people aren't thinking that all Zaxby's are like the one you worked for..Your bosses just must have been really bad at there job!
I just want you to know that Bruce Gunthrope who manages this store needs not only anger management, but basic management skills as well. He talks to the customers like they were dogs, he treats his crew even worse. We have been in that restaurant many times over the last year & find it dirty & very unsanitary. The bathrooms are filthy, the floors are as well. We also saw traces of rodents in & around the store. Ants were crawling up the wall where the menu sign is. When we asked Bruce about what we saw, he blew us off like we were nothing. We understand that his father, Tony owns this store (3160 Forest Dr. Acworth). Does he have a clue on what his son is doing? All I can say for this place, is not to eat there! You many contract something you don't want.
ok that is stupid! i used to work at a zaxbys and my managers just hated me for no reason at all...one kept yellin at me wen i wud ask to exchange sauces..."u need to put it on the damn ticket" i said well they just decided to change it b**** so shut the %^&* up and quit yellin at me...so yea zaxbys is a sucky job that is full of unwanted drama!
