Expired products
I visited the 7-Eleven store in Changi Business Park Crescent (Singapore) on 14th Nov 2011, I purchased a candy named “RAGOLD’s Naturals” which had an expiry date of 23-09-2010! I visited the store again on 16th Nov to show the expired candy & the staff did not say much except that they don’t know about it. I picked couple of more candies from the store & showed them & the candies had the same Sep 2010 expiry. This is not acceptable that the country like Singapore where high quality measures & standards are followed can have stores which sell products which have expired an year ago. The manager (Lorliene) of the store was not around at the store & I took her contact number from the staff & spoke to her, all she had to say was Sorry. What is the explanation to this? Attached is the picture, pink candy is what I had purchased on 14th Nov & green candy was on the shelf on 16th Nov. Would appreciate if this matter is looked into with high priority. Are there any inspections ever done to ensure the expired products do not exist on the shelves?
Rude employee
So I am a 13 year old girl with my friends at seven eleven, now we teengers do not repsect and adults dont repsect us. Now my friend gave all 4 of us a coupon that said a free medium sized slurpee. There was a young guy about 20 and he kindly said that the coupon was expreied. I was scared out of my mind because I had no money! This rude lady walks in and strats yelling at us that we have to pay. Now I understand that ok, that is kind of steeling and I had to pay so the other option was to ask my other friend jane to lend me money now she had 2 dolloars and a slrupee is 1.50 now she went to go pay for hers and that lady rudley said we have to pay. So eventulay jane gave me money but there was still 2 more people left so my friend that gave me the coupon said that she will run to her house and let me tell you I live in new york its pretty cold now that we are enetring november. So thererfore my friend frezzed but eventulally came but bfeore she came or when she went to go get the money, we were waiting for her on the side. There were these pretty necklaces that were there and my other friend ricardo went to see one and the lady asked him if he had money and he said no she said well that cost 11 dollars if you dont have it then put it back and rocardo was upset because it wasnt nice at all I have no proof but I know it hapened! Im not asking for no coupons or money I just want people like her to be punshied or talked to, to learn what they did wrong. But frist as I said she said that this was expriered rudley and then she inslated ricardo that he dosent know how to read. Because we were walking there and didnt pay attention to the coupon that my firend gave us. At the end my friend came back and she saw that we are mad and ferious. We walked out gave her a nasty look and left. I personlay told my mom and she is now filling a complian for rudeness and disrespect. I think adults take advantge that we are kids and that we dont really know about life so they treat us harsh im never going to that seven-eleven again what? Just to get yelled at again?

I got lottery tickets and was over so I asked him to take 1 off and he sid what the hell is wrong with you. He is rude and works at both 7-Elevens in Glendale Heights. I have spoke to the owner about this man but he will not do anything about it. I will no...

I had an extremely unsettling experience this afternoon in the Gladstone Ave and Bell St 7-11 store. I went in around 4:30 to pick something up for lunch, when I got to the counter one of the employees asked if “this was everything for today” I replied yes. A second employee behind the counter asked me a question but I did not understand one word he said so i asked him to repeat the question, at this point while I’m being kept busy a third employee was sneaking up from behind and reached into my jacket pocket and pulled out my prescription that I had purchased at the pharmacy across the road five minutes earlier. (Tylenol)
After he looked at my prescription he showed it to the other employees, after they had a laugh he put the prescription back into my pocket and walked away. when I looked back he was just putting it back, by the time I realized what was going on he was on the other side of the store. I had to seriously force myself to get out as fast as possible. I’m not sure at this point which issue scares me the most,
1) that 7-11 employees seem to have this scam going on and that 7-11 Corp office can not be bothered to reply to what I am sure is not the first complaint of this type.
or
2) what I was about to do to him ( simply out of self defense) when I realized he had just picked my pocket, at that moment it took everything I had in me not to react in a negative way.
Picking customers pockets must be a way for some employees to help supplement their income or just something they do for kicks when they are bored? What would have happened if I had my cell phone, money or anything else of value in my pocket? This can’t be the first time they have done this because, other than the employees laughter to alert me that something was happening behind me, I would never have known his hand was in my pocket, this was done quite skilfully.
Another customer in the store at the time caught up to me outside and suggested I take his name and number in case something else was missing from my pocket and commented on the employees skill. I honestly believe that 7-11′s customers deserve to be warned that this type of activity can and does happen in their stores, however, the 24/7 head of the complaints department Susan Bradley seems to prefer ignoring this issue.
To avoid loosing personal property, either stay away from this store or empty your pockets before entering. Better still after reading way too many unresolved complaints on other sites maybe just avoid 7-11 completely, after the Quicky Store buy out of most of the 7-11 stores just go to the 100′s of Mac’s or Quicky stores.
Sure right, when did they report you and get you fired?
Rude 7 eleven cashier & if u not happy, u complain to the president&

Subject: 7 Eleven @ Compasspoint.
To whom it may concern,
I patronized 7 Eleven for simple purchases like drinks and snacks.
Service rarely comes with a greeting or a smile but they were quick in
what they do. The best and the most consistent service in 7 Eleven stores
in Sengkang is the store at the Shell Petrol station. They greet each and
everyone in the line that they served. A warm greeting can be heard even when u are browsing the magazines.. Well Done!
Unfortunately, the total opposite happened to me at 7 Eleven Campasspoint..
I joined the queue to top up my cash card as there was also a queue at ocbc bank. I frequented this store for purchases but never top up my cash card there before.
Scenario as follows:
Staff: " Next"
Me: Handover my cashcard and cash
Staff: Looked at me in an unfriendly manner.
Me: "I like to top up my cashcard"
Staff: She looked at me again like I have done something wrong." cashcard is the other cashier.
Me: But you said "Next"
Staff: Bluntly repeated " Cashcard is the other cashier"
Me: " shake head " " you shouldn't be standing behind the counter if
You don't know basic customer service"
Staff: " This conversation is unnecessary and you should stop talking!, ###!"
Me: " oh my god, you are so rude" " who interviewed you?"
Staff: " A Singaporean Guy"
Me: "Are u Malaysian"
Staff: No! " You stop talking, if you not happy, you can complaint to the president!"
Me: Huh? The president term is ending who can I speak to? Can I see your manager?
Staff 2: manager go back already .
I took my change and walk out of the store. I made a u turn and went into the store and took a picture of the rude staff. I walked to the carpark lift dissatisfied and went back to the store and to get the contact no. of the manager. Another staff gave me the franchaisee Hp no. I called Catherine and she was kind to listen to my frustration although she was at home. I was horrified and disgusted over the staff attitude. I don't understand why such a bad attitude staff is allowed to be the front liner to represent a reputable brand of convenient store. There was a long queue at the store when this uncalled for incident happened.

I agree. Rude chinese-auntie also at novena square! Hate her and dont want to come ther no more! 7eleven should survey their employees first to get more customer men!
Sexual harassment
Working in a 711 I notice a few percipient things about the store. Thou the location was closer to home, an better community. I was told by many male customers that the ladies that I would be working were always pushy an will deferentially dump all the work on me. True the Odds Of working in such a Place surrounded by women would mean Heaven, but in thi...

One of the staff members simply oggles at young women. It is really disgusting. I have seen it happen on almost all my visits to this particular 7/11 (on the corner of Stern Avenue and Stevens Creek Blvd. in Cupertino CA).
Someone should tell this person to show some respect.

I walked into 7/11 with my 5 1/2 year old daughter and 2 year old son. When I put my son on the floor to walk he began to get upset and went down onto his knees. A man with a Pug dog on a leash was in the store at the check out counter. There was a man and a woman behind the counter. The dog jumped onto my sons back and began to scratch him. My son began to cry and I picked him back up and moved to another part of the store to calm him. All three people watched as it happened and did nothing. I said out loud, "Your dog just scratched my kid!" The man left and the woman at the register had the audacity to tell me that there is a sign on the door and what was she supposed to do throw the man out of the store for bringing the dog in? REALLY! I was so distraught by this whole ordeal I will be calling my lawyer!
I just got sold old egg rolls I don't appreciate it at all.
I would expect it.
Did you expect 5-star egg rolls at a 7-eleven?
must be your first day in the real world
Thanks I agree. I have tried every nice way of handling it now im going right to headquarters. I have a dog myself and I hope no one else has this happen to them
I would have kicked this dog like a football in the teeth and probably would have punched the owner out. First, only ""Seeing eye dogs"" are allowed in stores. 7/11 corporate and the store owner is probably liable here, as is the owner of the dog. Get a lawyer and a copy of their video tape...
Poor customer service
Every 7-11 in British Columbia will only hire minorities which is reverse discrimination.
90% of these employees have just become Canadian Citizens or they are here on a work visa.
40% know only enough English required to do their job, i.e. if you ask what time of the day it is they won't know what you are saying.
98% of these employees do not know the true meaning of Customer Service. They simply think it means to do their job and that it has nothing to do with how they treat their customers.
95% of 7-11's will not allow the mentally disabled to become returning customers.
98% of 7-11 employees in British Columbia will not tell you the time of day if you ask.
One paticuler 7-11 I live near will ask you to buy pizza and if you say no they will ask you to buy chicken wings and if you say no they will ask you to buy some other type of greasy food until they have gone through the entire list or you say I don't want anything. If you come in every single day and you happen to be short two cents on any of these days they will not let you purchase the product.
"Quote" "You get fired ? I think they have a great bunch of employees."
British Columbia of Canada is the only place I have been that has such poor customer service at 7-11. I have been to every province in Canada and eleven states in the United States Of America and I have never witnessed such disregard for the respect of customers. I love 7-11 dearly but someone has to put an end to this madness.
"73% of statistics are made up"...lololol
Wow, does The Jerry Springer Show know about this one? Maybe he will have you & the others on his show & you can all just beat the hell out of each other on National T.V. & Feel better about this horrible in-justice.
you obviously havent been to all of the 7-11s in british columbia, liar. Im pretty sure all the 7-11s in the okanagan hire any one from students to single mothers to part time just need a job for the weekenders to seniors who just need a job to keep them occupied. maybe you should keep your opinion to yourself if you dont know all the facts :)
Rude behavior of cashier (2)
On May 24, 2011, I went into 7-Eleven to get a soft drink approx. 7:15pm. I got my super slurpee, and proceed to stand at the counter to pay for the item. There were two (2) cashiers behind the counter on their cell phones checking the weather aloud. One (seeing me at the counter) began calling the other cashier's name to wait on me. Neither cashier moved. They both were continued only interested in the weather report on their cell phones. My first response was to leave the drink at the counter and allow them to pay for it or dispose of it. Finally, I said "Excuse me!" Then the cashier that was closest to me behind the counter turned around towards me and laughed. Her response was "Oh, you were so quiet!" Afterwhich, she informed me of my total. I paid for it and left. Usually, I would have responded to both of their ignorance of correctly handling - the only customer in the store- at the time, the time of day afforded me to keep moving. My response would have been was the reason for your behavior due to your ignorance or your racism.
I really don't know what was the reason for ignoring me at the counter. Could it be that I am an African American or what? Whatever it was I will not shop at this 7-Eleven again. Whether all of the 7-Eleven operate in the matter is something I would be interested in finding out.
Wow, reading your complaint, it sounded like the people behind the counter were African American. It also sounded like you were a little crybaby too. Well at least 50% was correct.

Just 1 hour ago, I went to 7 Eleven in permas Jaya 10, Johor bahru, Malaysia, to buy 3 tins of carlsberg, cost me RM20, so I pay RM50, afterwards he pay me back and I noticed that only 2 RM10 note he gave me, so I showed him, and then he said 'oh oh lebih ah' and took 1 note from my hand. I looked at him and other workers and said ' Saya bayar 50 tapi you pulang balik 20' then he returned me back another 10, but without receipt, so I donno his name, but I feel that he is not doing this first time. Rude china man cashier!
I am a forty-nine years old lady. Went to 7 Eleven at Vivo City tonight, the one next to GV Cinema, to buy a pack of cigarrete. The cashier, a rude china man, suddenly for my ID! What the hell?! Obviously I am above 18 years old and he was being disrespectful towards customers! After looking at my ID, he did not even apologize! This was not the only time he was rude. There was another time my daughter and her friend bought instant noodles there and ask him for chopsticks but he chase them away saying there were no chopsticks there and ask them to get it in other shops! Please do something about this! He is showing bad example working in Singapore and tourists might think Singaporeans are rude!
Sorry typo error...I am 39 years old not 49...

7-eleven selling expired medicine
This morning, I purchased a cough syrup from one of the 7-Eleven stores in Suntec Tower 5, Singapore, however, the syrup bottle was expired on 06/10 (manufactured : 06/07).
I could notice the expiry date, only after i had a dose. This has worsen my health. I'm going to take a legal action against the store.
I complained to HSA and they fined the store. I am happy
resolved, as the matter was escalated to HSA and they have taken appropriate action against the outlet. The stock has been cleared.
I bought some sleep aid medicine that expired almost a year ago. I put the pills in my mouth and immediately spit them out after noticing the expiration date. No telling what could have happened. I meant to mark this information as helpful. I wonder what happened with the legal action against 7 11.
Stealing my money
I have a complaint on here for the same store as I am now complaining about. I don't go there anymore. My husband went to the store between 7:30 and 8:00 am Friday, Jan.28th. He gave the cashier a ten dollar bill and the change should have been $7.50. As my husband started walking off counting his money the cashier called him back and said "I gave you one dollar too much back." My husband handed the cashier a dollar and realized he now only had $2.50. my husband said "I gave you a ten dollar bill." The cashier insisted he did not. I know my husband did not have a five because we did not have any cash until I got cash back from Lucky just before my husband dropped me at work. He went straight to the 7-11 and was promptly ripped off again. I was telling my daughter when she told me a story about another 7-11 on Blossom Hill. She was going to pay cash and when the cashier told her the amount she did not have enough cash so she pulled out her credit card. The cashier did not ring anything up until after she pulled out her card. I WILL NOT be going to 7-11 any more. AM/PM or Quik Stop are just as convenient and I have never been ripped off by them or had them try and just take my money and not ring it up... Reacgirlx
I did put the specific store in. The address is in the complaint. I have already been to the 7-11 site and put the complaint in, just like I did last time. It was my husband that went to the store. He wont anymore.
9-1-16 I stop 7-11 at 1:00pm to ;play lottery. I asked the cashier if they did green dot, adding funds to ADP cards she thought and replied yes.
I gave her the card plus three one hundred dollar bills. As she put the imformation in i watched the key pad to make sure the amount was right. After she counted the money she gave me a nickle change.
At another store shorty after the card would not work.I call Adp customer service and was told the balance was zero. that the funds were decline.
They advice me to again call 7-11. There at 7-11 I spoke with a mr Abdel Mass Khanna, He claim the money went through or there was a computer issue that he would check in to the matter. I told him he should have $304.95 over, he said no!
He mention viewing the video and that he would call 7-11 headquarters and then call me.9-5-16...I merely need my money back, it was for bill's that are late after today.. Thank You

I was overcharged on July 31st at the 7 Eleven on Hertel and Military in Buffalo NY. I realized as I was walking to my car and ran back in the store. The cashier and junkie manager on duty who was smoking outside the entire time with a girl probably on company time refused to give me my correct change back. They stated I had to wait until the following morning and come back to the store for the manager to review it. This is stealing in my opinion and how many times do you think someone goes back to get their refund.
I have had 7-11 try to charge me a lot more than what I actually should pay but I catch them all of the time. They always give me a nasty look when I do catch them. A couple of times they have given me more change than I should be getting, in fact, I have received about one full dollar from them now in change I should of never received. I have seen people pay for gas and then driving off forgetting to fill up their car. The cashier usually fills up his or her car after fifteen minutes or so when they are sure the person will not return. If there is a manager working no employee would attempt such a hideous act and never have I seen a manager do anything but refund the person who purchased the gas and forgot to fill up. The managers won't do hideous things but they will follow you around the store to make sure you don't steal anything even if you are a regular. I'm sure they follow their friends around the store too and even police officers! ha.
Stealth Pilot, if the clerk keeps the money this is theft as the customer did not give permission for the clerk to keep that much money. To be specific if the total said was 7.50 and the clerk just kept 1$ for himself without asking for permission from the customer then that is theft.
This is not my logic. This is how the law works in the USA.
Stealth Pilot, fraud is a false representation of the facts. Also, to your next logical jump about theft. Theft has 2 requirements. The first is that it must be "intentional and fraudulent" and the second is "without consent or permission" and it applies to some sort of property. In the case where a clerk gives you more money than they are supposed to there is no obligation to the recipient to return any of the funds that was in excess.
Unless your complaint is that you believe 7-11 official policies are promoting fraud then you should be sure to post the specific store location and/or store number. Your complaint, as it stands right now, is for the entire 7-11 corporation and not against an isolated issue at a store. The issue may be so specific as to be a particular employee.
If you look at the 7-11 website you will see they have two separate complaint forms. The first is for a specific store and the second one is for anything not specific to a store.
http://corp.7-eleven.com/ContactUs/tabid/184/Default.aspx
If you want to do more than complain then your next step is to contact 7-11, and don't forget that the next time a cashier gives you too much money too keep the money. The next time the cashier gives you not enough money you call the police and do not leave the store until they arrive.
Will not accept debit card payment.
The 7 eleven in Kingsley ave and Indian hill blvd in pomona has the rudest customer service ever! I was buying stuff and some guy in the counter wearing a white tshirt said "no you can't use debit cards here!"" "we get charged $1 or .50" " I am telling everyone not to accept those cards"! when I was about to pay for some chips and get $1 cash back. ok so...

On January 9, 2011 at 10:22 pm I completed a transaction withthis store. The purchase consisted of a gallon of milk and an pint of ice cream purchased on my debit card. I had planned on purchasing more, but when I got to the counter I asked if the store accepted EBT. The girl behind the counter spoke NO English. She pointed at the bank teller machine and said “ATM”? I replied no, EBT. She looked at me confused and said “no, no”, so I put the other items back. When walking out of the store I saw a sign in the front window that said “Now Accepting EBT”. I went back into the store and referred to the sign. The girl looked at me and siged saying “ohhhhhhh”. I asked her to return the money to my debit card and process the trasaction through EBT. She looked at me blankly and then began a long explanation in Spanish that I am still trying to understand. She refused to refund the purchase. She called to the other girl working who was in the back. She also SPOKE NO ENGLISH. This girl handed me a voucher that I was supposed to fill out and submit (?) and she also refused to refund the amount. THEN the girl asked another customer in the store to translate for her, sharing personal information about myself with a complete stranger. At this point I was embarrassed and left the store.
I am very concerned that (a) no one in the store was able to communicate with me in an efficient and adequate manner, (b) that the employees are either not trained properly on the systems to know how to process EBT transactions, (c) that the employee felt it appropriate to bring another person uninvolved into the situation and share personal information about me with them, and most importantly (d) that a sign placed prominently in the window of the store is either being deliberately ignored or is intentionally misleading.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
So in other words, you actually had the money to pay for your food but you wanted the government to foot the bill instead? I imagine that is difficult to explain.
Forced to purchase unwanted item
Went in to purchase 2 packs skyline menthal 100's, the cashier
rang the item up as I was picking up the packs and noticed they
were King size, not 100's. I asked to get the 100's, he said he could
not change them because he already rang it up. He then called the
store manager, who said its the law...never had such bad service,
will never shop there again. I know he could have switched them out,
he just too damn laze to deal with an over-ring. I didn't even pick-up
the cigarettes. The cashier rang it up too fast, not my fault, he didn't
even ask it that was all, I did tell him 100, s . This was the lazy
manager excuse for not doing the right thing. Who runs a business
like this. Does he really expect to keep return customers, he needs
more education as well as his employees. I was forced to purchase the
wrong product from this store because of his in-experiance as a business owner and the cashiers speedyness(who was very nice).
Guess who the real looser is!
Well, it IS the law that you cant return tobacco or alcohol. But you had not left the store yet and you were given the wrong product,
so, yes i agree you should have been given the correct ones. I hate to admit it but Bad Cust. Service. I apologize for that store.
GOOD GOD PEOPLE!
keep to the freaking subject! its not about smoking pot, and f*cking lung cancer, or any of that ###! its was about how the stupid cashier said he couldnt re-ring the cigarettes cuz he already rang them in which is COMPLETE ###!
if youre gonna post stick the f*cking subject or keep your mouth shut..
If someone refused to give you the product you wanted, then you should have walked out and gone somewhere else. Pretty simple.
Rude worker
I was standing in line at aprox. 1355 on 30 dec. 2010. I was waiting to buy lottery tickets. There was a guy in front of me getting his lottery tickets taken care of. When this person got done he left the area and the lady that was working behind the counter was doing her thing that she has to do with the cashed in tickets. So while she was doing that another customer walked up to the counter with his snacks or whatever. So in stead of her waiting on me she started checking out this fellow. That made me not very happy at all. There was another man behind the counter, I guess the manager. He could see that I wasn't very happy. He said she'll be with you in a minute. I said I was in line first and should be waited on. The manager said that I would have to wait because I was getting lottery tickets and that is not a priority. So I would have to wait. So if the lottery is not a priority and that doesn't make me a customer then maybe you shouldn't sell lottery tickets. I am a regular customer in that store for over 30 some years. I guess this is just the way 7-eleven treats there customers.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I doubt you would be allowed to buy the tickets anyway being under 18
dont blame the clerk - Id blame the manager. The others are correct-
lottery cust can be time consuming and i wouldhave asked you to wait a min while i helped the other cust. But the manager should have helped you or let the clerk help you and he help the other cust.
I am a 7 Eleven Manager and I would have helped you.
Known bad atm
We went inside to use the ATM machine, The ATM went through all the motions for a withdraw except the cash doors would not open to release any money, so i told the store clerk, and he said he knows, it's been doing that for a few days. I ask why isn't there a "out of service" sign on the machine if he knew about it, he replied it wasn't his machine. That i...

At approximately 11:45pm on12/15/10 I went into the store to buy coffee and a snack bar(total was $2.61). I was a bit slow getting the change out, the owner of that store (old man oriental background) lost his temper and raised his voice telling me "this is not Russia!", without any reason. I sarcastingly replied you meant this is not China!, he got very mad and yelled at me to get out of the store and not to come back. A while back, I didn't file a complaint then with the other incident with that same old oriental looking man. He threw the hot dog on the counter, his reason was that I was 'picky', he said that he didn't throw it, it just slipped out of his hands. He really did throw with an anger. I will never go back to this store again. This is a very bad way to treat a customer..
Racist cashier worker
I was in the seven eleven on 8338 Narcoosee road purchasing a coffee. First of all, I said good morning to the white old lady who was the cashier (I am an African American) and she did not respond. Instead she gave me a "racist dirty look". Then I asked her for a bag to put my creamer, napkins and sugar for my coffee in and as I was putting the items in the bag she shouted from behind the counter " Miss, you can't fill that bag up with all that stuff". Surely, it would have been better for her to say Good Morning". But no, she had to go there. As a law abiding citizen and very respectful person of the elderly I replied' you cannot tell me how much sugar and cream to add to my coffee". As I walked out of the store I gave her a dirty look and made a mental note to make a complaint. This person has exhbited this type of racist behavior to several minorities that visited the store, as I have learned later on. She needs sensitive training or she needs to find another line of work. May God have Mercy on her soul!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
so this time i whent to seven eleven like always i go in the mornings and i see that there is no fresh coffe, i looked and i see some employes laughing and using there phones and i whent to tell them and she just passed by me and ignore me. ever since i havent gotten coffee from seven eleven and i have told some of my friends not to go there because they have bad service.
Yawn.
It has nothing to do with my device. As a computer geek, I can tell you this is a function of Complaint Board's coding. That's why you see it all over the place. It's html related. I apologize but there's nothing I can do on my end.
That's actually a coding error on the website and has nothing to do with me.
I am not typing from my phone.
I don't know. While I believe racism is alive and well, I also see people loading up on buckets of creamer/sugar) these days. Many places wouldn't even give you a bag for a napkin, sugar, and creamer. I've seen plenty of places that admonish or request that a customer only take what is necessary.
I am a woman, and have been treated rudely by some men, but I have never thought, "Oh that's sexism!" I just think "Oh, they're kind of rude." Sometimes automatically assuming someone is racist can be more racist in and of itself.
