Nokia c1 and poor customer service
Good evening
I bought a cellphone at ackermans limpopo mall on 4th november 2021, the phone is nokia c1 double sim with a primary lock for mtn, since I bought phone the secondary sim never allow me to go to internet with it as it doesnt connect to internet, I tried calling the network operator but I never got help. On 06.04.2021 I went back to ackermans to report a phone, I got a guy who told me that they cant book it for repair as the network is not a problem I have to use it like that or I can take it to mtn, I asked to speak to the store manager, then they called a lady by the name of banny, the lady also advised me to take the phone to mtn, as they claimed that they only book the phone that doesnt switch on or freezing, I then denied and ask her to test it, she tested it and found it faulty, she said she will book it for me but it will take 2 months, the following day I called the store and speak to the store manager, then the store manager said it will take withing 21 days, the person who told me about 2 months she was lying, on the third day the other lady from ackermans called and said my phone is back and fixed I have to collect it, so my question was, how can a phone took 2 days to pick up by courier, fixed by supplier and delivered back within 2 days, I called the store manager again, then he said maybe there was a misunderstanding as my phone never went to repair. On 14.04.2021 I called the store again to make a follow up, then the lady who answered the call said the phone is still in the store level, I asked to speak to store manager then they called assistant banny again, banny said the phone it went to repair it is not yet back, meaning I also got another false infor, then I asked her to sent me wayble number, she said no the phone is still in the store. The service I am receiving from that store is very poor as I bought that phone with love and in need of using it, now my kids is suffering at school as she is using it for school purpose. The unit is still under warranty as per cpa rule I have the right to get a new phone or refund after assessment as I don't, want it anymore, I explained that to banny and she laughed at me and said the is no way I can get a new phone or money back and I dont know how because I really know my rights

I went to Ackermans Chuma mall at diesploot, I saw a pair of shoes and I liked them and they didn't have prices all of them, so I took my size to go and pay. The cashier told me that he won't sell them to me because they doesn't have prize, I asked him again that why did they put them on the shelf if they are not selling them and he didn't even bother to check after a long que that I waited. A very poor service that I got from them and the cashier was a guy.
And after I got dissapointed I went to Ackermans at Bambanani mall to check for them, it was on Sunday and they where opening at 9 so I went there before 9 aind waited outside. I waited all the shops opened except Ackermans and by that time it was 9:15 I decided to leave because I was going to work. And I could see inside from the window that there was staff making ups and downs and didn't care about us outside. I was late to work and I left. Another poor service I got from Ackermans

We have the worst Ackermans store in South Africa. The variety on womans clothing is so small! There's not much to choose from. Also they stock like small and x s clothing...medium is so rare. And spoken to some other ladies in town they have complained about large and x L. Not much of a variety and the little variety they have is xs and s. You see things online, you go to Ackermans but no luck! I use to buy from Ackermans here but nowadays they have been slagging. This last 3 months ive been walking out of Ackermans and straight to mr price and fochini where there is more to choose from. Waste of time to go to Ackermans. The staff is very sweet and friendly atleast. But the clothing is not worth it.

I want to complain about your kiddies sizes, my daughter is 3 years old and your 5-6 Qtee tops are too small for her. 5-6 from PEP she drowns it, this is impossible. I normally buy for the next season as well, now it doesnt even fit now.
Please advise on what is happening please, I've spend R3 000.00+ on winter clothing and 5-6 doesnt fit. I have neer had this problem before and have been shopping at Ackermans for ages.
My daughter is a normal 3 year old size.

My sister bought shoe for my daughter at Ackerman Richardsbay we discovered the shoes we different sizes. Then I stay in Empangeni I took the shoe back to Ackerman in Ok Center in Empangeni... My experience in the store was horrible as they told me to go to Richardsbay the Manager and Staff told me how I was making my problem their problem... When I told them the terms and conditions for returns, they loudly laughed at me in front of customers. I read their names was Xolani and Lindani. Card replacement

My purse was stolen on Monday 8 February 2021. I went to Ackermans Carnival Mall and I was told that I can't get a card replacement without an I.D. I told them my I. D was stolen along with my purse.
They said I could use my Passport. I produced a passport and then was told they can't accept a Passport as proof. It's a valid form of identification.
I can only apply for an I.D. when we reach level 1. I have no idea when that will be.
I would like to continue with Ackermans. I can't pay without a card which i'm being refused.

I would like to complain about a lady named Gugu at Ackermans Ballito Junction. I went there asking for help with purchasing a cellphone. After waiting for a while, she was called to assist me. On her way to me I could hear her complaining she is busy why is she being called. Her colleague at the till explained there is a customer who needs help at the cellphone counter. She rudely approaches me to ask what do I want and I politely responded that I was interested in buying a cellphone. She then responds to say well you can see the phones so look at them as I can't open the cabinet, there is covid and she walks away. This behaviour is unacceptable and the worst is even the staff at the till were complaining about her rudeness as a person. I'm sorry but customer service etiquette ia important and this type of behaviour should not be happening. I would suggest she is dealt to avoid another incident of this nature. We cannot allow such individuals to get away with attitude and disrespect in their workplace and let it be unattended. I trust this will receive urgent attention required. Poor service and unfair practice
I purchased two pairs of boxers for my 18 months old son 2 days ago from Ackermans Cavendish Square branch. Yesterday I decided to let him try them on, but the boxers did not fit. He weighs 18kg which is why I selected size 2 - 3 at the store. I returned the items this morning; the store did not accept the items because it is their store policy not to accept boxers even though they are brand new and were bought for 18 months old who is on dippers. My question was, "why was I not informed of this when I purchased the items two days ago?" when I asked this question, the supervisor and the cashier showed me a print at the back of the receipt. Why did anyone not show me this print when I purchased the items and why is something so important as this at the back of the receipt? I am a single mother who is solely dependent on one income due to lock down, I am now sitting with two pairs of boxers that I have no use of. Your service is pathetic, and I will take this to social media to alert consumers about the special terms and conditions that you have at the back of your receipt which nobody never explains to consumers. What makes this even worse is the fact that, sales consultant from your store assisted me to select these items and I explained to her that my son is big, and she suggested size 2 to 3 years. At this stage I should have been informed about your policy. At the till-point I should have also been informed about this policy.

Tag not removed
I went to Ackerman Mhluzi Mall to buy underwear and I was on my way to a weekend away when I get to my destination I realised the tag on the underwear was not taken off you can imagine being on my periods needed to change I felt so embarrassed and degraded had to see my way out such poor service and the sensors at the door didn't even go off. I would like to know what am I suppose to do with such and I have to drive back to the store because of someone who couldn't do their job and that means they dont check the sensors if they work or not at the store.
Opening an account is one of the most distressing and lengthy procedures.
On 9 November 2020, the necessary documents had already been sent by e-mail as requested.
No acknowledgment was received but it was said that the whole procedure will take 3 working days.
This morning when I wanted to follow up, I was told by a "customer care consultant" that I was not the only client and that it had only been received this morning.
I know very well that I am not the only client, but have given enjoyable time before following up.

I use to be an account holder at Ackermans but I closed my account 2 years ago.
I have been receiving calls from the Accounts department request me to pay my account after it has been closed 2 years ago.
At first they wanted me to pay R 60 now they expecting me to pay R 200.
Clearly someone at Ackermans is not doing their Job because the account was never closed from the Boksburg branch and it is not my fault.
I will not be paying for something that I am not using and because people can't do their jobs properly.
I will be taking this further.

Bad service we got from the manager
As we where kindly helped by Betty with our purchasing, it happens that throughout the process the manager came from nowhere to insult n telling us how we don't respect the conduct covid 19 processes by not doing social distancing, as we already did the social because the was no customer at the til point that could hv forced us to move n wait at the stable while she was making a payment
She was very rude, she even instructed the cashier (Betty) to stop scanning out the clothes until the two of us left the til point... Her approach was totally out of control, her attitude does not deserve her being a manager at all if she is... We where forced leave the clothing worth R3000 n above not count the other items which where not scanned yet because of her bad attitude...
It happened that the next customers also did the same thing but they where not told that only 1person is needed at the til point
The incident happened today around 19:25 after we where at the store for more than an hour, purchasing clothing for our children's for Christmas
I'm so disappointed n I won't advice any of my family to come to such store that treats people like that... Ur feedback about such attitude Wil be truly appreciated
