wrong information provided by customer care
There is a wrong information provided by Customer care executive as I had asked for ISD plans for DUBAI(UAE) which is happened twice- before recharge and after recharge.On 10th Dec 2014, around 6:14 pm I had dialed airtel customer care number asking for ISD tariff plan for UAE that time when I was confirming for Rs 153 -60 mins plan. The executive advised me to recharge it by any seller not specifying that it is not applicable for UAE countries. After recharge, when I had a call... money got deduct from my main balance. Again I called to customer care at 9:23 pm and update my issue, then they suggested me like just switch off and again switch on your mobile- this will work. I had done the same but it didn't work, facing same issue- main balance deducted. Please trained customer care executives for ISD plans so that customer will not face such type of situations. Also, I want the recharged amount(Rs 153/-) back as 60 mins are waste for me.

I have purchased airtel dth connection on around 10-oct-2014 through the airtel site (Online) however it’s been 2 months now my account is not yet registered on the airtel site.

My issues -
1 - unable to view my account details on my tv - under - account details
2 - unable to login to the airtel site to view my account details as I get error message - "sorry! No airtel service is associated with your mobile number."
3 - unable to create a new account because my cellphone is showing as registered (strange)
4 - when I try to contact the customer care number and punch my customer id or cell phone number I got the same message - "sorry! No airtel service is associated with your mobile number."
I tried to contact the customer care site multiple times. -
First call - around 25-oct-2014 - customer care agent informed that they have raised the complaint to the technical department and the issue will be fix in next 24-48 hours. He also informed that you do not have to call again. When asked for the complaint number - he refused to give its its a internal complaint number.
So I waited for 3 days and tried to login again however unable to do so, even after waiting for a week my cell phone and customer id number was not registered to the airtel site.
Second call - 5-nov-2014 - customer care agent informed the same thing again - "the issue will be fix in next 24-48 hours". He also informed that you do not have to call again. When asked for the complaint number - he provided the complaint number - 40949335
So I waited again for the issue to be fix however again even after a week I was unable to login to the my account to the airtel site.
So I thought let’s call again to the customer care -
Third call - 25-nov-2014 - the customer care agent transfer the call the supervisor, who explained that - sir as you have purchased the product online (from the airtel site) that why the customer id and cellphone is not registered. You need to contact the local distributor and get a recharge done so your customer id number can registered to the airtel site.
I thought let’s try that also - I went to the local distributor and get a recharge done.
Now I am still unable to login to my account and also my account details are not visible on my tv - under account details. Not sure, what should I do and whom should I contact and where should I raise my complaint.
I would request you to please look into the matter and resolve the issue as soon as possible.

i am an Airtel broadband user with ID [protected],
i placed a request for shifting my connection on 31 Oct 2014 after that on 3 Nov 2014 i placed a request for disconnecting my connection since other companies were offering better connection and the same i communicated to airtel team that i'll pay the final bill and no longer want to continue with airtel.
Their retention team started to call me day in day out offered my 100 sort of things but finally gave me solution as follows:
1. 15 days rental waive off, which your executive said has already been started from 4th November itself
2. 300 shifting charges would be waived off
3. 500 voice activation charges would be waived off
4. Rs 150 discount on my new billing plan for the next 12 month
after 20 days of struggling and repeated mails and calling to airtel they shifted my connection but now saying that they cannot offer me the things mentioned above
Problem is now they thinking that the customer is not going to leave us they saying we cannot offer you the above mentioned things, we never offered you anything like that, we cannot share with you the voice recording for such conversations now you have to pay bill for entire month and we cannot offer you anything
Sheer shameless, and unprofessional and cheating on airtel.
Am also using Airtel Postpaid and Airtel DTH, would soon look to discontinue those also.
Please don't fall into their false traps. they are a cheat.
I cannot continue with such a company which tries to be fool their customer by giving them wrong and false commitment.

Sir, An airtel cellular tower has been installed at an unauthorised construction of houseno. L-73, Street Number 21, New Mahavir Nagar, New Delhi-110018 for the last 7-8 months. The installation is in a residential area. Violations of the orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, India in this regard and also not fulfilling the criteria of the Telecom department in this regard..MCD also not taken any step in this matter. You are requested to kindly do the needful at the earliest In this matter. And also take appropriate legal actions against the airtel and the landlord who for just some money are playing with the health and the lives of the people of the locality.

refund of charges debited
Dear Sir
At the end of 5th Nov2015 voicecall bal in my mobile no. [protected] was more than Rs.300/.
Whereas in the morning of 6th Nov after charging for internet the balance is showing for Rs.199.80/.
Please correct the record and restore the wrongly debited amount so .
On my request as above the company replied in a casual manner knowing that no download took place in the night of 5th Nov.2014.
Moreover as per scheme even after the validity period the Internet will continue unlimitedly but with asl ow speed and informen that my complaint is resolved satisfactorily.
Please advise how to get rid of such be fooling / misleading styles of the company.
Today after sending email to Appeallate authority the balance is restored by Rs. 134/.

sim not activated from past 2 weeks
i wanted to transfer my no from regular to micro sim bt 1st Airtel
executives mistakenly given me H2 instead of H1 sim, later they replaced
it with H1 micro sim and charged me Extra money, now they are saying
that my No [protected] is deleted from system because of SIM No updated
on H2 SIM, Again they gave me simple H1 sim and said no will activate on

We have taken service of airtel mobile service in 2005 they offered us videotone under airtellive after one month we request his to give up videotone service say to cus. care, but now a days 15/-charged every month we are complaining every month but c.c. not responded.

The sim has not been activated, I contacted them after a week, they (ABI COMMUNICATIONS, DINDIGUL) said, We raised SR request for your number but the request has been rejected. So, they said we can give a try again. So, I bought a new duplicate sim again after a week, its the same response and suggested me to get to the NODAL OFFICE in Santhome, Chennai. So, I bought a new duplicate sim on 4th Sep 2014 in NODAL OFFICE, SANTHOME, CHENNAI, I again contacted them the NODAL OFFICE REPRESENTATIVE, they said it would get activated by 8th sep 2014 and the sim is not yet been activated and there's no response from them too. In between I contacted 121, Its too worst, they keep on disconnecting the calls after I explain the problem or else they give me a invalid reference Number, So, I couldn't reach your Nodal office by call too. Just give a response, whether I can get my number back or Airtel needs my number.
Its the worst response from AIRTEL. POOR SERVICE.

in Oct-2013. It's 9 month passed, I have

Every time they come and do temporary adjustments but

I had booked for a new broadband connection from Airtel, while all was good at the begining, a sales person called asked to provide all the details and address proof, while I had also paid Rs. 500 since it was online.
Later one person called me and said there is no feasibility you go for 4G, I said I am not interested in 4G, so he told me OK we will give you the connection, After 2 weeks again they called to me say we will give you the connection now, where as I was constantly in touch with them for the connection and I am lucky if the people pick your call or return the call.
Till today I am getting the assurance over assurance that today or tomorrow evening it will be done, but no progress in actually getting the connection for past 3 weeks. I followed the escalation path, where there is absolutely no data from one person to another about what is happening. The person called me said he is the utmost authority in the escalation chain (surprised that why he is not the CEO ☺)
I am not even able to go to others for the time being, certainly I feel the service from Airtel is worst, Please do not ever try Airtel for any service, they were good now they are too big and hence they do not care for the customers. It has been more than 3 weeks now that I paid the money neither they have refunded my money nor provided the service yet. Please let me know if any one can help me to resolve this.

Kindly pay attention to my complaint regarding above mentioned connection. It has been hardly 15 days and we have been facing problems since beginning. After giving regular complaints to the dealer ( Mr Aman) for poor connection and voice disturbances we never got any response regarding it.
We are highly dissatisfied by your services and now we want to discontinue the above mentioned connection immediately. Although when we call 198 they said we will have to wait till the first bill is generated, What is the point in continuing with it even for a month when the customer is facing so much problem. You people need to know the value of a customer.
Kindly get this connection removed as soon as possible. Hope to get quick and positive response from at least this time.

connection stop working for 3 days without any intimation
I am using my Airtel pre paid connection since last 5 years. I have requested to change it in post paid. They charged me some amount to get it converted and after a long time they did not responded to me. I have tried to call them but nobody has answered my call/msg. I have escalated my problem to 2level of management of Airtel. After, the journey starts as I am asking them to get the Address of GOD. They have disconnected my connection without my knowledge and whenever I dropped them a mail, they call me after 6:30pm and told me that we cant do anything now because it is non-business hours. Is it my fault that they have called me after 6:30pm? Finally they have told me your number will be activated within 48hours. Could someone imagine how can one manage with his/her number deactivated for 3 4 days? And, the way they were talking with their customers is so pathetic. I, personally advice anyone not to go for any change in prepaid to post paid rather go for another network services.

cheating in monthly postpaid plan
I had got a call from Airtel executive regarding post pad connection, He gave me the better plan and advice me to port my Reliance no. In Airtel, I satisfied from that plan and decided to port the same and he sent his field boy to collect the ID proofs and cash after few days when i have not got any call from that executive end than i called the Airtel executive but he told me that said facilities is comes in decided plan you to change your plan and denied to back the cash.

I have an Airtel Digital TV [protected] and I got a repeated display of messages on my TV " 510 = 550 recharge before due date to get 40 cash back". This can be interpreted in two ways, hence I recharged for Rs.550/- but now they are denying me cash back. Stating it should be exactly 510/-, if that was the case they could have just written as recharge with Rs.510 before due date and get 40 cash back. This is unnecessary misleading the customers, this is not the first time I experienced, earlier too I was not given cash back twice. Moreover they just turn on any channel without any prior information and keep charging us, unless we track and keenly followup with them for reversal. etc.

Its been months I have been having problems with airtel network as it goes off and on. I can't make a calls when I want to. As for the past years it was okay. It says not registered on network and for the incoming calls it says phone switched off or out of ranged. The network signal shows full in my phone but it is not connected to network. My name is Rasika Kelkar and have requested porting from Tata docomo service to Airtel service for number [protected].
Post the verification from Airtel, i recieved the date of 03rd Feb for porting where the Tata docomo service was disconnected. However Airtel service has not yet begun.
I have made several complaints and visited the Airtel Gallery at Borivali(West) but the galley employees are unable to give me a resolution and have proved unworthy.

airtel 4g dongle now working in window 7
I have a purchased an airtel 4g dongle on 23rd decemeber 2013. Since the activation it has not been working on my Windows 7 Desktop.
The error is IPv6 connect failed. I am not able to use it and they are billing me for it.
I have given 7 complaints and none of them have resolved the issue the issue. The complaint number s are : [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]. They do not even bother to contact and just close the complaints.
In the middle for 3-4 days and airtel support called me asks what the problem, but no-one has bothered to come once and have a look.They have even stopped replying to e-mails.
If this issue cant be resolved, then I would like to return the dongle and get my money back.
Airtel has one of the most pathetic customer services I have ever seen.
