I booked a Minivan through RentCars.com (number B4D7KFJ) at Orlando Airport and Its a prepaid contract. Pre Paid usd 459 with all insurances.
I just handle a contract to the sales person, refused any change or new insurance.
When I came back home I was charged with more USD 500 saying I asked for changing class of the car. But I still got a minivan. Also they charged me fuell that I say I want to return full (no pre paid gas). I want my money back I didnt ask for any change!

It means that everything have been already paid. In hte end we had delayedf flight and we extended the rent to 09-SEP-2018. The fees for this another day were ageed with you in amount 92, 21 USD. On 26-AUG-2018 I have picked up a car from ALAMO Rent a Car at the JFK International Airport, Building 308 Federal Circle Jamaica, NY 11430. While doing the paper work, the guy at the service desk tried to sell me a Pass for cashless tolling for the State of NY. I have told him that I will not need such a Pass, as I'm going to drive north to the New Englang States and Canada and will not be driving on Highways in NY State.
Checking my credit card bill from October I found, that I have been charged from ALAMO for the amount of USD 28.40 for the above mentioned TOOL PASS. As I didn't agree on such a TOLL PASS and didn't get ore use it, I expect that this amount will be refunded to my credit card.

Extremely disappointed by how my case is handeled. I forgot my glasses in the car upon return. Car was rented and returned back at Paris airport. I have been contacting daily and have spoken to 3 respresentatives in 2 days. They keep reassuring that someone will contact you soon, that hasn't happened yet. The scratch was not serious and we could have continued with the car, but the agent was so rude and merciless when it was raining and so cold and our kids were crying, he even had discrimination for us. We need an apology from the agent and car rental company and refund the rental of the day.

I can confirm that Mr Yang collected his vehicle as booked on 21/10/2018 at 9am.
Shortly after leaving the car park Mr Yang had an accident involving a third party vehicle that was parked unattended on the road outside of the entrance to Waverley Station. This has caused a significant amount of damage to the entire N/S of the vehicle as well as to the third party.
For this reason we are terminating the hire and have refunded Mr Yang the cost of his unused 2 days minus his deductible of £100.
We are unable to provide Mr Yang with another vehicle.

Originally I booked the compact choice because I was the only person in the vehicle and was flying to a different state to conduct my military duty. The charge was approximately 130, I had made the reservation over a month in advance. To my surprise no vehicles in that category existed, so they just told me take another car from the lot. I had arrived at around 10:30 PM and had a 2.25 hour drive to the military installation. Once I come back I expected a fee for not filling up the tank because I was running late but to my surprise they charged me 260 additional dollars. That totalled 390... triple my original quote I discussed with the agent the day I arrived. I am dumbfounded, and cannot believe I'm being charged 400 for renting a car for 3 days.
I forgot to mention that once I dropped the vehicle off the agent gave me a receipt of about 186, which also was a massive surprise to only see it be 260 a couple minutes later as I'm running to security and then my terminal. What in the world is this company doing.

On 10/18/2018, I picked up my rental car on Alamo at San Juan, PR Int'l Airport. I was very happy with the customer service and also they upgraded my rental due to lack of cars, they offered me a Jeep which I was even more happy with the upgrade. However, when I got to the Jeep, I found a lot of trash inside the cabin and food leftovers in the middle compartment. The car was super dirty inside and it looks that they did a one minute wash on the outside. I did not return the car and get another one. because it was 1:00am and I was in a hurry to get to my hotel. This is an unacceptable condition for a rental car, when you rent a vehicle the least that you can expect is to get a cleaned vehicle. Please see attached pictures.

After booking and paying in full with Alamo rentals, I log into my account 2 days prior to my flight to Atlanta, just to be informed my booking had been cancelled. I emailed to find out why this had happened, and was told I would need to rebook - no reason was given, no apology, and I would have to wait 21 days for the refund. This is unacceptable as the Dollar to the Pound was very low and you still was holding onto my money 6 months later. I was pretty upset and told them to reinstate the booking as I had not cancelled. This was reinstated after several emails and the fact that I had asked for the problem to be escalated. On the arrival at Atlanta we upgraded the vehicle- it would have been a nice gesture by your company to have given the upgrade free of charge. We are re filling the vehicle- over 24 hours ago I emailed Atlanta to ask as to weather the car was petrol or diesel. At this moment we are still waiting to hear. When renting cars in the past, they come with information about fuel, tomorrow we intend to fill the car . And instead of receiving emails telling us : we will respond in a period of time: just let me know what the product is.

I rented a car from alamo in tours on the 29th of september. The car got btoken the next day. I bad to wait for a few hours for having the car towed away. Three alamo representatives, the names of two I recall being patrick and marie promissed me anothrr car, but nobody ever contacted after that. My vacation on tours got totally off track as I was not able to go where I had planned to. I have sent numerous emails to alamo regarding this problem, but never heard back anything. I will have to start legal processings against alamo to get this problem resolved.

on early morning of august 5 I rented a car at Miami airport, RA [protected], RES [protected], and I pay in cash one thousand dollars, the employee stated to me that 300 dollars will be a security deposit, for tolls and any additional expenses, and the balance toward my rental contract, when I returned the car I request the balance of my deposit back...and the employee that received back the car said to me to request it on the main Alamo office at the Miami airport, I did it, but the Alamo employee at the main office said to me that all the deposit money was used for my additional expenses ...plain words without any proof or recipes ...now I am seeing in this month credit card statement that Alamo charge me additional money on 16/09/2018 in the amount of $127.95 for tolls...if this is not corrected your company will have a very negative reference with me and all the people that I know, also the name of the person that did te contract, and received the car, at Miami airport is absolutely illegible, you an not identify him by a name or al employee number

I rented a car on September 20th from the DFW airport. I was driving with two friends to Alabama to a funeral. While driving on the freeway through Shreveport, LA, the rearview mirror dropped off the stand and fell partially into my lap. I called customer service and they told me to go to the airport to get another car. They said they were sending an email to tell them to just trade it out since driving without a mirror was dangerous and I had over 400 miles left to drive. When we got to the National counter, the woman behind the counter automatically said, I can't get into their "system". "You have to wait 30 minutes until the manager returns". Then she went next door to Enterprise Rental and asked them and then she said, "Give me $250 and I will give you whatever is available". I said why do I need to pay money to replace the car when customer service said it would just be a trade? She said I must assume you "broke" the mirror. I said I would wait for the manager. Two hours later the manager had not returned and she kept telling me he is on the premises but busy. My friend's husband told us to leave and go find an auto supply store. We left, talked to someone in the store and he discovered the mirror was missing a screw but snapped back into place.
Not only was the customer service people in Shreveport rude, but also several non-employees kept going behind the counter and they made us feel unwanted as customers. I was also on hold with the customer service hotline where I was transferred 7 or 8 times. NO ONE WOULD HELP!
This caused us to miss appointments in Mississippi but fortunately the funeral was the next day.

I did not get the name of any of the people in Shreveport but I am sure that is not hard to find out because it is a small operation. But to clarify, they all were rude and the manager was a no show.
Several of my friends and family have used Alamo in the past but we started telling everyone we know on social media to stay away from this rental agency because they do not treat their customers well.
I would like an email or phone call from someone to discuss this. All of this information is in my rental agreement.

Well, what can I say? We spoke with a "manager" at Orlando who to be fair was very helpful although he said all that he can do is to refund us for the upgrade cost that we paid. He also said that the treatment we received at Melbourne and Fort Lauderdale was normal from those ports! I find that amazing that they can get away with that low level of customer service.
We have had no mention of compensating for the 4 days of aggravation, I had a phone call from Dwayne at Orlando who promised to call me back in an hour, that was 10 days ago! This whole Alamo episode is outrageous, I have friends flying into Miami on Monday, I have told them not to touch Alamo, Enterprise or Thrifty. Our family are coming to Orlando in April 2019 I've told them the same and we are coming back to Las Vegas in January and Orlando in October and I will be following my own advise!

I have been a victim of fraud charges from Alamo rent a car In Spain (bilbao office). I took the car with a reservation from the Bilbao Airport. I did not take any insurance while reserving. The officer handling my car offered me an insurance package which he said will be the best. I agreed and Paid the amount (263Euros- Rent + Insurance). This charge was mentioned in the contract. I got the car in good condition. Everything fine so far.
My drop point was in Bilbao train station. The officer handling my car over there was Mr Christian. He inspected the car, full fuel and no damage and the car is in perfect condition. I asked for an invoice and asked him if there is any other charges that i should be paying, even though i know there is nothing as i paid in full while taking the car. He said everything is fine and the invoice will be sent to me by email.
After i left Bilbao, they deduct 84 euros as one way dropping charge.
THERE IS NO ONE WAY DROPPING CHARGE AS I DROPPED IN THE SAME CITY.
By that time i was already in Madrid. I contacted the Alamo office in Madrid and they said it was a mistake from Bilbao office and it should be refunded.
Till now no response from Bilbao airport as i have sent multiple emails to Alamo.
Complete negligence.

Hired a vehicle from Alamo in Orlando Florida. The car had a puncture which I was sure if it was slow or not and felt unsafe driving around on it and thought it to be inconvenient to continually pump it up so I phoned your breakdown department who told me to drive to al Alamo to switch it and said there were cars available there and then. Reluctantly I drove it not sure knowing if it was safe or not and had to drive on the interstate and ended up having to drive 40 minutes to an Alamo. Got there to be turned away as they didn't have any available and wouldn't do for another 4 hours at least. This was absolutely absurd as the lady on the phone told me there would be. Due to this we missed a breakfast we had arranged with our hotel for potential business in he future which meant we had to pay 120 dollars, we also cancelled driving to tampa late that day so missed an event we were supposed to go too that evening.
I'm not only disappointed that we were lied to and said there was a car available earlier and there wasn't, wasted a whole day on a holiday we have paid for but also not one person seemed concerned that we were driving back and forth on a tyre that pontentially could have been dangerous to drive on to us and other drivers.
I would like financial compensation as there is no way you can replace a day completely missed on our holiday.

I have rented a car from Alamo in Sunny Isle Store (18080 Collins Ave, North Miami Beach, FL 33160, USA) for 6 days. The retal was uneventful until the car was being returned.
During the returning process Alamo agent claimed that the car had some scratches in the bumper (Picture). This condition was certainly present and it is without a doubt due to the natural wear and tear of rental vehicles.
My credit card was instantly charged USD500, 00 and the agent advised me that the claims department would contact me with the details.
I have been repeatedly trying to contact Alamo to obtain the details of the claim and to understand the USD500, 00 value that has been charged to my credit card without any supporting documentation. All attempts were unsuccessful and Alamo has not proved me any information.
I urge Alamo to cancel this damages claim. It is not reasonable to charge the customers the natural wear and tear of rental vehicles.

roadside assistance
We paid a significant amount extra per day on our rental agreement for roadside assistance, after the agent assured us it would take the stress out of any problems that might occur. Today we got a low tyre pressure, and found there is a nail in one tyre. So we called the roadside assistance THREE TIMES, and after nearly an hour of 'all of our operatives are currently dealing with other customers' AT INTERNATIONAL CELL PHONE RATE! we were forced to give up. It's going to cost us a fortune in phone charges, and worse we have had absolutely no joy in solving our car problem. Appalling customer care.

IO left my handicap parking pass in a car i rented from the Almo car rental at the Ottawa Airport (Canada).
When I asked them to ship it back they informed me it would cost $43.50 US (to ship from a Canadian address to a Canadian address!). When I asked them why they said "that's the way we do it". When I asked them to just put it in a Canada Post envelope with $1 postage they said "We don't do that".
