I am complaining about the sea queen crunchy fish fillets
I brought them with the hopes that they would comparable to Gordon's Fisherman's but I was dead wrong. The stick batter was not as crunchy and the fish and batter has the worst bland taste. Literally could not swallow. I took a picture of the box because I threw the receipt away. Just in case you needed proof. I am asking for some kind of compensation.
deputy manager in ellon, aberdeenshire
Today, 04.10.2017 Deputy Manager in Ellon, Aberdeenshire store was very rude, ignorant on the till. She was throwing my purchased items harsh into the trolley and when I asked her to stop doing that or i will go to another till she said that it is their policy not to help people (even if they have newborn kids) and get rid of customers as quickly as possible. i do not believe that Aldi has such an inhumane policy on place and think that it was just a racial discrimination from Deputy Manager towards me. Can you please acknowledge my complaint form and reply with quoted policy?
puraqua 16.9 oz. water bottles
My family has been drinking these bottlescases of bottles for years with no problems. Recently in the last 2 weeks or more, they have a different taste to them. It is not a good taste. it tastes worse than our tap water and we supposedly have good tap water in our city so most people say so. What has happened? The clearish code is:pla4 270117...Dest if used by: 28Jul18 11027.
Lower on the paper label it says NYSHD Cert#559. My family and I have been throwing the bottles of this down the drain cause it taste so bad.
Are they still using reverse osmosis filtering like the bottle states in words?
I want a full refund of 8 cases of this water because they taste terrible. i can keep the rest I got or send some cases back to you. You will pay shipping and any other charges to get them back. I will try new different brands from now on. My family and I really liked the taste before and at a good price. One more thing...the bottles you have recently started making are very very flimsy and alot of times the labels fall off partially or all the way and get you all stickey. Its a pain in the [censor]. Do better, make them like you used to and the water also, please. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Mr. & Mrs. Kershaw

in-store product pricing, regent street, leeds.
ALDI Customers are Not Bar code scanners! Stop Misleading!
ALDI prize themselves on Selling product Cheaper and better, a fast and ever growing company. But are they Misleading customers over price?
After a humiliating experience of finding I had been overcharged twice the price for a product in the New Leeds ALDI Regent street store and an assistant manager telling me and forcefully showing me buy forcing another box of products into the same wrongly priced shelf hole, “I’ve done consumer law too and it does not matter where we put it as long as the bar codes are correct!”
ALDI customer service stated under some spurious 2015 law as long as their products hold the correct bar codes they somehow can be put anywhere even if the price showing is incorrect!
I contacted ALDI customer service back and again their ALDI UK Mr Giles Hurley Managing Director the later has failed entirely to respond to the aggressiveness of the ‘Assistant manager’ who totally humiliated me in-front of my colleague and about 15 other shoppers etc and why ADLI feel we the Consumers / Shoppers are Computers able to scan Bar codes!?
I explained to ALDI Customer service and ALDI UK Mr Giles Hurley Managing Director that Consumer protections regulations state Misleading selling practice are Not permitted. That Your incorrect prizing in this store is consistently wrong we have since found, and misleads customers to pay far more, From Cheese Cake to Mouthwash etc.
After being ignored further from both ALDI UK Mr Giles Hurley Managing Director and further from ALDI customer service I have reported this store to Trading standards over Consumer protections regulations state Misleading selling practice are not being upheld properly.
I have also reported this store over their assistant manager who was very rude, bullying, condescending and intimidating indeed humiliating to me in front of approx 15 shoppers etc including my Colleague who stands as a witness.
I am not happy with ALDI initial Customer service response and I sincerely feel that ALDI selling practices are misleading.
I asked appropriately if they were a member of a ADR scheme ? Plus Do ALDI have a complaints process? Both with the Misleading selling practices they chose to Ignore!
Indeed its the very first time any company CEO / Chief Executive and their PA etc have chosen to Ignore my Concerns which says a lot about this company how it values my Custom!
not living up to their word
I aldi the survey on the back of my receipt about the bad food and service I received at the lee Blvd location in Lehigh acres I received a call back from the district manager and he told me he informed the manager to replace my food so I come today to get my replacement food and to purchase more items and was told basically I was a liar that the district manager didn't call me and say that I'm so furious right now that they don't keep there word so I was lied to about my name being placed in the book to habe my meals replaced. Which was 3 of the 4- $4 two jr bacon cheese meals and one of the blt chicken with fries and drink and nuggets and a baked potato with broccoli and cheese ! So again I have to take time out of my day to make another complaint beside they always. Have issues with the frostys either there is none or were out of vanilla or chocolate or machine down please someone get this location corrected
customer service
I had a very bad experience at this store. I've been at this Aldi location for about 3 months and I'm not sure I want to return. I was in the check out line with my 2 daughters and the cashier Kelly addressed my 10 yr old daughter with an attitude, she told her with a very mean look that if she threw something at her one more time, and yelled stop throwing stuff at me, I observed waiting for a laugh or smile because I thought she was kidding but she rolled her eyes, I spoke to the manager and she just brushed me off and said I will talk to her and I insisted that she talked to her in front of us and make her apologize because that was very inappropriate, she should not have addressed my or any 10 yr old like that, she should've said something to me or said it nicely, the manager walked over and said these people said you were rude and want you to apologize and she did but rolled her eyes, the manager took her to a back room. I really do enjoy shopping at Aldi and I'm very upset this happened. I really hope this matter is taking care of.
will & jess ready to roll white icing
My name is Mr. Maurice Anderson.
On Sunday 18th July 2017 I had a problem with a product I bought from your store.
I recently bought 12 tubs of this product recently at Aldi in Corio Victoria.
The Best Before date is: 30/5/2018. Batch No: 682037
I do all sorts of cakes from Wedding Cakes, Birthday Cakes, Baptisms etc.
I tried to knead this and it was so hard I couldn't do it. I am a male and have pretty good arms when it comes to doing this. But even I couldn't do it. I divided to do it into half and do it that way. It was still so hard to do. I tried putting it back together and it wouldn't go back together. I tried another 2 containers and one seemed to work but when I put it on the cake it just would work. I had to throw out 5 tubs. I had to go to Woolworths and buy the ready to roll icing from there. I had no problems with theirs. I gave 2 to my daughter who also makes Birthday Cakes and she had the same problem.
I would like a FULL refund for all my 12 containers. I didn't keep my receipt as I thought that these would be fine.
Please can you help me as I think 12 tubs were a lot to loose.
Thank you
Mr. Maurice Anderson
complaint?? no way!!
Aldi's just reopened in Kingston PA. I went in for the first time yesterday . I was sooooo happy to see it is so similar to Bottom Dollar which use to be my favorite store ! I heard that Aldi's did buy up the bottom dollars and they brought back some brands that only bottom dollar carried.like the almond cranberry chicken salad..o my ! I've never had a bad experience at Aldi's. Employees always friendly and helpful. Never had an issue with "low quality" food either.. I for one am thrilled they are back !
ratten furniture
A suppose sale on today with ratten furniture. Tried five different stores in my local area. Only to be told they'd sold out in every store I'd visited Before 9am. So how can it be a sale if so little stock. Or the staff had brought them before opening at 8am. The whole thing was a conspiracy to get people in store to shop. Will never be using any Aldi for the forseable future
casa barelli pasta bake, creamy tomato and basil, 500g
I opened a jar of the pasta bake and noticed it has white mould inside.
This is the 2nd jar I have opened this week of which also had mould in it.
I opened it on the 12th of february. 10am.
I would like a refund.
I dont think this is very good opening 2 jars and both of them having mould in them.
Its very bad on your side and it shouldnt be put on the shelves if it has been opened.
I was very dissapointed to open a jar and not be able to use it. Especially it happening 2 times. I am yet to check the rest of my jars. Very annoyed.
fit and active stuffed sandwiches
I have been buying these for the past couple of years and they were really pretty good compared to lean pockets. Then recently you changed them. They are now a lot more fattening, greasy and taste nasty. They are not fit to eat and a horrible waste. Please consider going back to the way they were done before or you will lose a lot of business. I for one will not be buying them any more unless they go back the old way
Fire roasted diced tomatoes
I bought 2 14.5 oz cans of diced tomatoes about 2 weeks ago. Yesterday I was making spaghetti. I opened up the first can to find burnt pieces floating on top and all through out the can. The 2nd can was the same way. I am so pissed, I had to go to the store and buy more to finish my dinner. I have use this and other Happy Harvest products for yeas a have...
Read full review of Aldi and 6 commentssecurity guard
I have nothing good to say about this terrible store Aldi. I've been there twice and every time they turned my life into a real nightmare. Last time I've been there their security guard asked me to open my bag and show what was inside. When I opened my bag he found an empty bottle of water and asked me to follow him. He said he'll call the police because I stole from their store and locked me in a small room! I had to call my husband for help and when he arrived he had a conversation with the store manager who said that was a terrible mistake. They let me out and apologized, but I will not forget about what happened! Horrible service! I hope they'll fire that terrible security guard!
roasted pumpkin seeds with sea salt
I purchased some Southern Grove roasted pumpkin seeds with sea salt from Aldi on December 1, 2016. After purchasing the seeds I saw that peanut oil was used. I am wondering why they would use peanut oil on pumpkin seeds when seeds crate their own oils. I have a condition called G6PDD that makes peanuts and other nuts and seeds, their oil and other products made from or with them hazardous to my health as well as the health of 70, 000 other Americans. I purchased the pumpkin seeds as a healthier alternative for myself. Now I can't purchase them at all because of the use of peanut oil. Unless Southern Groves starts to roast their seeds without peanut and other oils. To learn more about the oils that could affect your consumers visit g6pddeficiency.org/wp/2014/11/19/cooking-oil-contributing-oxidative-stress/#.WENquOIMHqB
puraqua purified water 20 fl oz
I bought a case of water at Aldi PurAqua purified water 20 fl oz it tastes weird awful like heir is chemicals in it and its discolored not clear like water should be! My family and I wont drink them dump them down the sink. I spent money on this case of water. Its going to make people feel like drugs or something in the water.
Label says like "distilizeration" - but not "distilled water.' I had an Aldi Manager argue tooth & nail that it was distilled. I am trying to find out now if it is distilled; I don't think so. Taste of water is subjective. For example, my grandparents lived in a small town where the water was hard. I didn't like the taste at first, but soon got used to it. It could be that water you don't like the taste of is water you are not used to. The "bad taste" could be from minerals that are good for your bones. Water with all minerals removed would be bad for our health. So you might try drinking it a while to get used to it. On the other hand, since this is "purified water" and not SPRING water, I would not expect it to have a mineral taste. But I think that legally they could just run water out of the tap & through some very simple filter & then call it "purified water." So generally I don't buy that, but spring water.
southern grove mixed nuts
I have been buying these nuts for a very long time. They have always been the best quality and mixture of nuts I have ever found for the money. Lately, for like the past few months, when I buy them at ALDI, there are no (or one) Brazil nut and NO Filberts although they are both listed on the can. They are also my very favorite ones in the can. Please, Southern Grove, go back to the mixture you had before. Thank you, Karen in Tennessee
unfriendly employees closing store early
Went to local Aldi store in Pekin, Illinois where I have been long term
customer (> 5 years).
Arrived at 7:58 PM to get German chocolate.
Employee was locking entrance and stated that their store clock stated
time was 8 PM. Verified correct time noted above by my cellphone.
Would strongly encourage new management/franchise owner at
Pekin site. This does not occur to me in stores in East Peoria,
Peoria.
Am business owner myself. Would NEVER treat customer esp loyal
customer as per the above.
Store in Pekin with multiple problems. Merchandise often out, not
stocked. Employee performance marginal in general.
I am used to Aldi from 8 years spent in Germany.
Am very sad to have to pen note like this. Date above incident 05/20/16.
If you chose, could identify above employee noted above. Would
terminate immediately if my employee

the owners misled their customers with wrong advertisement and fake flyers
I recently got the flyers from Aldi’s Grocery Store and there was special price for the couple of products. When I went to the first store, they didn’t have these products at all. The sales person said that they ran out of the chicken breasts and coffee. Ok, I went to the second store and the situation was almost the similar. They have these products, but the price wasn’t special.
Read full review of Aldifood quality
The quality of the food at Aldi's had dropped significantly. It does not last at all. Seems they are not switching out old merchandise with new as it deteriorates. I have shopped there for over 20 years and have watched the changes from being family friendly to yuppie ville with all the upscale foods. Problem with that is they are removing the reliable staples for more upscale ones. Who on food stamps needs to buy most of the items they now carry? I used to fill a cart for a family of 5 for under $100. Of course times have changed and so has pricing but you would at least expect the items that you purchase to last more then a few days.
not much chocolate ice cream
We purchased Sundae Shoppe Neapolitan Ice Cream at Aldi's in Alcoa, Tennessee on 8/4/2015. When we first opened the container, it looked like it was mostly Strawberry and Vanilla. We assumed that as we scooped deeper, that more Chocolate would be visible. This did not happen, even as far as the bottom of the container. The ratio we thought should be fairly equal, like 33 and 1/3% Strawberry, 33 and 1/3% Chocolate, and 33 and 1/3% Vanilla. But it ended up more like 40% Strawberry, 20% Chocolate and 40% Vanilla. It doesn't sound like that big of difference, but when your the one that eats mainly Chocolate, it looks like you don't get much. And I'm the one that LOVES Chocolate, I am NOT very happy. But I thank you for taking time to read my complaint. And I hope this issue can handled, and avoided in the future.

About Aldi
One of Aldi's key strategies is its focus on private label products. The company sources its products directly from manufacturers, cutting out the middleman and passing on the savings to customers. This allows Aldi to offer a wide range of products at prices that are often significantly lower than those of its competitors.
In addition to its private label products, Aldi also offers a selection of branded products. However, the company is highly selective about the brands it carries, choosing only those that meet its strict quality standards. This approach has helped Aldi build a reputation for offering high-quality products at affordable prices.
Another key aspect of Aldi's business model is its focus on efficiency. The company operates with a lean staffing model, with stores typically staffed by just a handful of employees. This allows Aldi to keep its overhead costs low, which in turn allows the company to offer lower prices to customers.
Aldi is also known for its unique shopping experience. The company's stores are designed to be simple and easy to navigate, with products displayed in their shipping boxes rather than on shelves. This approach helps to keep costs low, as it eliminates the need for expensive shelving and display units.
Overall, Aldi has built a successful business by focusing on quality, efficiency, and affordability. The company's no-frills approach to grocery shopping has resonated with customers around the world, making Aldi one of the most successful supermarket chains in the world.
