Aldi Customer service

10/12/2022 Aldi Kallangur self service checkout s. The Aldi representative searched my bags in my trolley to “make sure that they’re empty.” Then when I filled up my shopping bags with scanned groceries she would not allow me to put them back in my trolley, insisting that I place the bags on the floor. When I asked why, she said “it makes it easier for me “.

Desired outcome: Please advise client service representatives of Aldi to stop making people put their groceries on the floor. It is unsanitary and inhumane. Stop making people (who are already doing the job of client service) feel like thieves.

Aldi Cashier / customer service

I have just had an awful experience with a member of the Joondalup Aldi team earlier today. In fact, the poor lady in line in front of me copped her rudeness first! No smile, no hello, rude one answers back when I asked if they had any bags NO! was her response, she was seriously sitting there snarling at your customers. I asked her if she was having a bad day, her response was "Yes, a [censored] week"! Such bad nonexistent customer service to be honest. Clearly very unhappy with her lot, and definitely not a good representation of your company. I paid, and politely looked at her to say Thank You, Nothing! Nada, no response at all.

The poor lady behind me was NEXT up for a rude experience at your store.

The time was 14.03 on the 25/11 and the Cashier was serving the Alchahol line. I use the term 'serving' very loosely.

Desired outcome: Improve your customer service!! Common courtesy, customer acknowledgement, and maybe a bit of graciousness thrown in for good measure ;)

Aldi Two 14 company security

I was hired to work security guard in one of francices aldi. Working under the company two 14 eric small. During this 7 months, eric hasnt payed me on time whether is a week late. His excuse was that the company hasnt payed him on time. I was patiencely waited until he comes up with the money to pay my salary. My job was stressful and risky because I was dealing with costumer that sometimes are not happy, I was treathen and called names. But because I need this job, I just hang on too. Please I need advice where I can get him understand that I am entitle to my wages. Not knowing if I get pay or not. My bills are filling up and my health was being compromised. Aldi Unsanitary health conditions at a store / 3925 lein road, madison, wisconsin

I am an African-American male that have been shopping at Aldi in the Madison, Wisconsin area for over twenty years. I am filing an "unsanitary health conditions" complaint against the location list below. I also have filed a complaint with the Madison / Dane County Health Dept. against Aldi food license at that location.

I was very disappointed about what happen to me at Aldi on November 4, 2022 at their store located at 3925 Lein Road, Madison, Wisconsin 53704. I was shopping at the store, when I went to the restroom. After finishing, I attempted to wash my hands after spreading soap on my hands from the restroom's dispenser. Then I discovered the water faucet was broken ( no water ). There was no sign telling the public that the water faucet was broken. That same water faucet was broken a week before November 4, when I was in the store. After leaving the restroom, the first employee of Aldi I saw, I complained to. The male employee told me that Aldi could not get a plumber to come out and a ticket had to be written. Later I spoke to the manager ( Jennifer ), she told me if I do not like the conditions in the store, do not come back to shop. The sign in the restroom said: EMPLOYEES MUST WASH THEIR HANDS BEFORE RETURNING TO WORK

Desired outcome: Repair water faucet in men restroom. Place signs if repairs are needed in the restroom. I WOULD LIKE AN APOLOGY FROM JENNIFER

Aldi Friendly farms nonfat Greek yogurt (berry on the bottom)

We bought this yogurt from Aldi. Stored it as usual in refrigerator. Got yogurt out from refrigerator today, opened & took a spoonful but looked right before eating to see something off, a discoloration lump within the spoonfulof yogurt. Looked more closely spread it on a napkin to find indeed it was actually mold! Yuck! Disgusting! Not exactly a berry at the bottom. I double checked & yogurt wasn't close to expiration date.

Desired outcome: Money back & proper handling of products in future so this doesn't happen. What if someone doesn't look at spoonful. Oh no no no

Aldi Repeatedly being charged full price on sale items

On a dozen or more occasions over the past several years while shopping at Aldi‘s in Oneonta, New York I purchased an item expecting the sale price and not realizing until I got home that I was in fact charged full price. Most recently on 10–29–22 @ 3:20pm I was charged full price for an Alfredo kit at $13.97 when it was advertised in store for $9.97. On this date I also purchased a head of lettuce and when I went to use it for half of it was rotten on the inside. Groceries are far too expensive nowadays to throw away or be overcharged not to mention misleading.

Aldi In store security-boliqueime agarve porugal

Racial Profiling Continues Daily:

It has been several years since my last complaint; I do not like to do so. But I am forced into this situation again because of the outright racist profiling from the same in-store security today (28th Oct 2022). I was just purchasing several items, on entering the store, I could see the security guard leave his standing camera post as I entered the store. He waited until I had said hello and very briefly chat to my friend who works there. Once I moved on to continue looking for my items, the security guard walked up behind me and waited for me to continue. I was flabbergasted at his arrogance. He then walked by, I continued on to locate some pasta, again there he is clearly tormenting me as I shop around. I looked for my last items, some integral crips located by the check-out. He then (as always on every occasion) stands at the end of the check-out (clearly instructed too, because all of your in-store security do exactly the same moves to intimidate me and other people of colour in your stores, as I am a black British expat). I had decided to stare him down, he moved to the side towards his post. Once I had paid, he stood again fully at his post by the exit door.

This happens daily, or whenever I stop by. In May earlier this year, I had made a formal complaint to the in-store manager (I didn't get her name as it was very much a knee jerk reaction to complain, other customers had seen the obvious profiling at the check-out) I told the manager that I would personally talk to the guard if required (I have had to do so on several different occasions in different stores) it does have the desired effect.

Please Aldi, can you take more measures to combat this extremely undesirable intimidating racial profiling of black people in your stores. I do not have this problem in Lidel or Intermarche, only Aldi. I only hope this does not have to become a legal matter of concern in the future. I will also be using my phone cam on future shops.

Desired outcome: Change to another security company as they are (in my mind) clearly racist and have no shame in the matter. Remove the security guard to another store with a warning.

Aldi Turkey Breast Gone Bad

I purchased a frozen Kirkwood Boneless Turkey Breast on September 30, 2022 at Aldi's in Oak Creek Wisconsin. Today, I cooked it from frozen in my crock pot for about 7 hours and checked with a meat thermometer to make sure it was done. All was looking fine until it was served.

The taste is very, very bitter and uneatable. I'm concerned it has gone bad and I'm feeling nausea coming on. It has to be thrown out.

I'm concerned that others may be sickened by this product currently sold at Aldi's.

Aldi Hamburger meat

Your order from ALDI was placed on October 8th, 2022 and delivered on October 8th, 2022 at 6:26 Pm.

I bought 2 packages of hamburger meat one for 1.13 lbs 6.54 and one 1.11lbs 6.43 for 12.97 but, when I check out the they charge 3lbs 5.75 =17.37

Charging for 3lbs and I buy 2.24lbs

$5.79

Adjustment: 2.21 lb -> 3.0 lb

Aldi Order deducted twice from bank account

On September 23, 2002, I checked out an order at Aldi in Sun City Center, Florida. The amount was $25.10.

My debit card was denied the first time I inserted it. The cashier told me it had been happening all day and asked me to do the transaction again, which I did, and the order went through.

Later that evening, I was balancing my checkbook and found that I had been charged twice for my order at Aldi.

The next day, 09/23/2022, I went to Aldi website and filled out the form to contact them and told them what happened. I also attached a copy of my receipt and a copy of the portion of my checking account that showed $25.10 had been deducted twice. It was not on hold, it had been deducted!

Someone called me that very afternoon and took all of my information and told me she received my bank log and agreed that the amount had been deducted twice. She apologized and said she would pass the information on and someone would be in contact with me.

That was two weeks ago and I have not heard another word.

Aldi Friendly Farms Half & Half upc [protected]

I have been using this product for a couple of years. The last two times I purchased it there has been a problem. The half & half is oily and chunks of cream in it. I am very dissatisfied with this problem. The first time it happened I disregarded it. I mentioned it to the clerk, and she said I had to bring it back to the store. Obviously, I threw it out instead. It wa s to embarrassing to bring it back to the store.

I was back at the store a week ago thinking that this issue was resolved and brought 3 more quarts of the half & half and it was the same consistency oily and chunks of cream (if thats what it is)

I am very dissatisfied that this issue has not been resolved.

UPC code [protected] This is the fifth quart of this half and half, that I will be throwing out. You have lost my business. I am a senior citizen and dont have the energy or time or money to continually run to the store to replace items.

Desired outcome: Resolve this issue immediately. Refund my money for the 5 quarts of half & half that I purchased and threw out!!!

I too have been purchasing the Friendly Farms Aldi brand half and half for years for my coffee. I will use other brands when it’s not convenient to run to Aldi. The taste and consistency is much closer to milk than in this container … has the ratio of milk to cream been changed in order to reduce costs? It certainly tastes that way.

Aldi Farmdale Lactose free Light Milk

I am sending you this email because I almost threw up yesterday when I opened this brand new carton of Farmdale Lactose Free Light milk.

I will aim to send the pictures and trust me I HAVE checked if there is any more of this date ones on my shelf. Thank goodness NONE.

The top did click with some resistance when opening so I am pretty sure it hadn't been tampered with.

I buy usually about 4 to 6 at a time and they are kept in a darkish Walk in Pantry. Yes I rotate them each purchase as I used to work in store stocking when I was younger... even to the point I turn the spout different directions with each purchase so I know I have used ALL of the older purchases. OCD to a degree yes.

The problem was when I went to pour the new carton into the milk jug for my coffee in the morning the first part that came out was clearish and of the texture of OLD egg white. a few specks of white in it but tiny that they were. NO milk. I was shocked as you may expect especially since I have been using this product for a number of years now. It also didn't smell great but then NOT like OFF milk either. That may be because it being lactose free but generally I have noted when these milks get older they get a sort of sweetish smell to them first.

When I tipped it out... there was a large percentage of the clear stuff.. possibly at least 25% or more and then it went into a curdled or slightly thickened milk solid not unlike water poached egg white, It sat in clumps sort of.

I will try to attach some photoes...

Due to the fact that the milk was getting hard to get I do have more than my usual stock on hand of a different date, though all the same, product to be sure I have it.. I sincerely hope there is no more problems with them too.. This will not see me through to Christmas of course. But I hope I can get some more in a month or so with a different date.

Aldi Website shows my pickup store as in Lewisville, NC about 30 -40 miles away

My Aldi store is on State Street, Mount Airy, NC 27030. I live at 3981 Old Highway 601, Mount Airy, NC 27030, approximately 7 - 8 miles from the store. Circumstances have created a need for me to shop on-line.

Today I created my order and had a problem -- your website shows my pickup store to be in Lewisville, NC., approximately 30 - 40 miles away. Try as I may, I couldn't change the location.

I have never had this problem with other local stores. Can you help?

Aldi No stock

For the last 8 weeks, there has not been any stock of cat litter or toilet paper.

For the last 4 weeks there has not been any stock of 700g eggs or Stevia tablets.

ALDI Maroochy Boulevard, MAROOCHYDORE. 4558.

It is frustrating to have to go to another supermarket to buy these items as I never used to have to do this.

What has happened to the ALDI ordering system?

Aldi Happy Harvest canned whole potatoes

This was yesterday on Sept. 12, 2022

I opened the can and there was this brown thing in the can. Thinking it was a stem from a potato plant attempted to pull it out and here was this huge bug. It seems to be a cockroach or a centipede. Totally disgusting 2 inch bug.

Just want to bring this to your attention.

I do have a picture to send but I can't bring it up at this time. on my husbands phone and he put it in a folder but I don't know where. Sorry your dealing with an old lady here, who is not the best on the computer.

Aldi 8 year old daughter physically assaulted then stalked at counter by "staff" plainclothes

At 12pm Fri 9 Sept 2022, she visited your Stones Corner Qld store and there were no staff anywhere in store to be seen, except one with beard at back of store near meat. No staff at checkout. She spotted a plainclothed man in the staff section at counter in the 3rd lane. Went there, no other customers, and she handed the man her loaf of wholemeal bread, only available loaf, and only bread we eat with no ill effects. Plainclothed counter guy took her bread and dropped it beside him to the ground, kicked it, and as she gave him 2 Apple computer gift cards we were returning (they were in a sewing box we bought weeks earlier), he grumpily returned the cards to her, angry. As she proceeded to other side of kiosk window ready to receive her bread and pay, waiting, he stepped out of kiosk area, grabbed her left shoulder very roughly and firmly with his right hand, then as she held up a fist ready to defend herself, he pinned down a sharp pointed fingernail in her fist hurting her, then kicked her knee very hard with his foot/shoe. He then pushed her out of store with hand firm on her back, her back still hurts now hours later. He then followed her, pushing, to carpark.

Desired outcome: I reported incident and very bad response from female Stones Corner Qld staff member who "viewed" CCTV footage but accused my daughter instead. President Trump 45office has been notified in writing, legally, of entire incident.

Additionally, when I returned to store within half hour of incident with my daughter, female staff member seemed sympathetic, watched CCTV footage apparently then returned to us to say it was nothing of the sort, no man, no bread, etc, and that my daughter had been doing unlawful and disrespectful things in store - shoplifting and crawling under "in" gate to get in and out of store!

We reported the entire incident to 45office to President Donald J Trump.

We always report security breach issues to him, and I tell you, there are many in Stones Corner and South Brisbane area.

Aldi Earls with beef in gravy tinned dog food

I have always fed my GSD Earls dog food, both dry and wet tinned dog food, which my dog loves and suits his diet well.

However recently I have noticed that the Earls with beef in gravy has been lacking in beef chunks with the can being 90% gravy, it had only a couple of chunks of meat.

I don't know if this is a processing problem or just a move to keep the product cheap. However as there is no way of knowing the content ratio until opened I think the canning factory should be investigated before I am forced to look elsewhere for a more reliable product.

I have not thought it practical to return an open can full of gravy to the store to complain as this is clearly a manufacturer supply issue

Aldi Salrines Crackers

Your cashiers are placed under too much pressure and work way too fast to compensate for your stores not having enough registers open at any given time. Today is Thursday, August 25, 2022. At 1:18 this afternoon, I purchased two boxes of Saltine crackers @ $1.12 each. I was charged for a third box which I did not have. I am requesting a refund.

Aldi Store incident

On 05/12/22 i went into Aldi's store #55 and after 2-3 minutes of being in the store we heard a loud popping sound which I now know was a gunshot rang out and struck me in my left foot/toe. Since this incident I have been diagnosed with anxiety and depression. I was out of work for over too much because I was in too much pain to much pain, physically and mentally. Following the incident I reached out via an attorney requesting a copy of the surveillance footage from that day. The request was sent 05/24/22 and they have yet to comply. I feel this is negligent security on their behalf. Before this incident took place I frequented their store 2/3 times a week, I was a loyal customer. I didn't ask for this to happen and I certainly didn't cause it. This situation has affected me tramendously.

Aldi Tuscan Garden black olives

Have always bought this product and never had an issue. About a 6 weeks or so ago , I bought 3 cans from the same case at the Aldi on Mt. Read in Rochester , NY. Opened one can and had a few. About 3 hours later was suffering diarrhea. That can was dented so I assumed it was possibly a broken seal. Threw them out. A 2nd undented can was opened on 8/6 and some were consumed. Again , 3 hours later came diarrhea. Too much of a coincidence. Took a sniff and the contents did not smell like black olives. Had an odd smell. Tossed the remaining ones as well as the other undented can. Possibly contaminated?

Desired outcome: Please look into the matter and see if there were other similar complaints.
