Product ref: [protected] wooden deck chairs
Last year I purchased a deck chair from within the Aldi store at Kingswinford which I was very pleased with.
When the same chair was advertised this year I purchased two more chairs online (Order No. [protected]).
I have since received an email requesting a review. However the link does not permit me to send a response.
I have had to search for an email address to enable me to respond.
I was extremely disappointed to find, on receipt of the chairs, that although they were obviously the same design, they were significantly smaller than the original.
The new ones, despite being more expensive, appear to be for a child. The description gave no indication that they would be so small. I can only imagine that they were designed for sale to a country where the general population is shorter than the UK.

58” Braun android smart tv
I purchased my television on 23/01/2021 at Bateau Bay Aldi in nsw and it no longer works. The screen is completely ruined despite it being well looked after. The picture is completely gone. It’s infuriating that my television only lasted 6 months after the 12 month warranty expired. It’s a large expense that I can’t afford to buy another television so as a single disabled woman who lives alone, I no longer have a television to watch. I’m really upset that the quality of this television is so poor that it only lasted 18 months. I feel that I need complain to department of fair trading because it shouldn’t die in 18 months. It’s ridiculous. I do not recommend that people waste their money on an Aldi television.
Desired outcome: I’d like some money back so I can buy a new television. This has isolated me further from the world because I can’t even watch the news. Low income people shop at Aldi and with this product you’ve literally robbed me of over $600
Happy Harvest Green Beans
I opened a can of green beans tonight for dinner, and there was a large chunk of something else in the can, as well. It's dark brown and very nasty looking. It's possibly an old chunk of corn cob. But it's very off-putting and absolutely shouldn't be in my can of green beans.
I'm including pictures of the chunk, as well as the information on the bottom of the can.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a refund for the pallet of green beans I purchased, as well as an apology. Thank you.

Belavi wicker patio chair model #700862
Incident occurred on 7/13/22 at around 5pm.
I bought two chairs from the Aldi in Holland Michigan in May of 2022 and really wanted two more, but that was all that was left at that store. I was excited to see a few weeks later that a few more showed up, so I bought two more.
When I got around to assembling them a few weeks later, one of the chairs had two of the right hand armrests in the box. So I went back to the store and there were no more chairs available and . . . no more chairs anywhere in the system when the store manager did a search.
So, I'm asking for one of two things . . .
1) Can you replace the armrest on the existing chair with the correct one?
2) Can you find another chair somewhere with the correct armrest and ship it to the Holland Store.
3) Can I replace the two chairs (one bad) with the two rocking chairs you have in the store Product Code 73991 for the same cost. I proposed this when I returned the bad wicker chair to the store manager and he wouldn't do it.
Thanks for your time . . . Please call with any questions.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Cheers,
Paul [protected]

Customer Service
Today I went to Lidcombe Aldi (NSW 2141) to buy some groceries. I had a bag some with new season ginger and medium sized eggplants in it which I bought from the vegetables stores across Aldi in Lidcombe shopping mall. On the cash counter, the person sitting there after scanning my items that I had put on the register asked me what I was carrying in the other bag. I told him there were things that I bought from other shop. He asked me to show those things to him. I took out both bags showing him the new season ginger and eggplants and told him that you are not selling these items. He asked me for the receipt of these items that I bought from the other shop. I didnt have that. He said we are selling same things at Aldi. I told him, I didnt know but the eggplants I saw on Aldi shelves were larger. He asked me to go and get the receipt from other shop. I told him that I will not go and get it as I was now getting embarrassed in front of all people and that if he was suspecting me, he should check his cameras. He replied very rudely that the camera checking process is 45 minutes long and I have to stand there waiting for its results in that case. There was no courtesy in his tone. I told him that I come to this Aldi every day and if he finds me stealing in the camera, he can let me know the next time I visit them. IN reply, he very rudely said that this is not possible, he sent another worker inside to check the camera and asked me to stand behind the counters. I told him he cant stop me from going out. To this, he replied, should I call the center security to hold you? This was already so embarrassing for me that I couldnt stay there anymore and left telling him to call the center security. This attitude is so embarrassing for the customer. I live in Lidcombe and do my shopping from this center every day. I didnt want an Aldi employee to embarass me in front of everyone like this without any reason. Tomorrow, I will go there and check with the on duty person about their camera results as well but I am sure they will never feel as embarrassed as I did without any reason
Desired outcome: Train your staff and educate them to be not like this again with anyone
Service at Aldi blue mountains
Going through Aldi checkout i was surprised to receive rudeness from cashier and a bag search. I wont be back any time soon. Thats for sure.
cart lock policy
I shop at Aldo every other week I travel 30 minutes to get there, I went yesterday. When I left the store, the cart wouldn't move, why not be smart and keep your customers by changing the perimeter of cart lock to the Aldi parking lot like Walmart does? Or you will be losing allot more customers !
Desired outcome: move the perimeter of the cart lock from the front door to the Aldi parking lot and email me when you do, because I can't shop there till it's done. I'm 71 I can't carry a full load of groceries to my car parked car 300 ft away
Store manager unprofessional
Thursday 4/28/2022 11:55am Store manager Brian at the west long branch, nj Aldi is extremely disgruntled and was highly unprofessional and rude to customers. I went in to return beef which was specifically listed on the recall list for an ecoli outbreak. The brand and number matched exactly. He was extremely rude and arguing that the meat was not part of...

First, I wasn't greeted by the cashier, Monica nor was I acknowledged in any way. She only let me know my purchase total. I tried my card in the chip slot twice and nothing happened. I then tried to slide the card. Monica stopped me and told me that I needed to try the chip slot first. I guess she wasn't paying attention. I told her that I had already tried that. I guess the frustration of the experience with the machine and her self-evident response showed and she reacted badly. I took a breath and then told her I didn't like the way she was talking to me. Her response wasn't apologetic but to tell me I was "snippy" with her. I then let her know that she didn't even greet me when it was my turn and her response very defensive and she let me know there was a place I could complain at the bottom of the receipt and she boldly displayed her ID tag and said, "My name is Monica." I couldn't believe her attitude. I told her that I'd rather speak to her manager. She brashly said, "She's right there", pointing to the cashier behind her. Then handed my receipt and smiled really big and said with clear sarcasm: "Have a nice day." I told the manager what happened and she said that she would talk to her, but gave me no assurances that anything would be done. This was one of the rudest experiences I've ever had anywhere. I only replied that Monica clearly doesn't care and left.
Desired outcome: Monica should apologize to me and possibly be reprimanded for her utter lack of good customer service
Milk going sour too soon
I have been shopping at this location for quite a few years. In the middle of March I had to throw away 1/3 of a gallon of milk due to going sour. I opened my second gallon and it went bad 1/2 ways down. I always buy 3 gallons of milk and this has never happened to me before. Why is this happening, are the dates being changed? It's bad enough this new...

[protected] Called Aldi corp cust servi [protected] (Laurie) about popped lid on pint jar of this Corn Chile Salsa. Told her it smelled and had dark brown appearance on top layer. Chose not to eat it. She put us through a wringer; said they needed spoiled product back; couldn't deal with the question. Asked for her supv. Got Navnvette who decided "didn't" need product back. Explained we have jar in bottom of trash can and will agree to unpleasantly dig it out, if Aldi mandated. Said would send gift card for problem. Not sure the company is much into food safety given this is such a small item. Must have lots of complaints ... Likely won't shop there very much after this experience. Thank you, and buyer beware of course.
Desired outcome: A replacement jar or fair compensation for the product -- and consideration for the inconvenience of not having the food product we thought we had for immediate use!
Clancy's chips
I don't have a clue as to why the following complaint was not accepted by you, If it was because I didn't provide a date, it is because it is an ongoing problem - meaning it happens every time we buy the product. I don't see where I have violated any of your guidelines. An ongoing complaint I have about Clancy's potato chips is that they are unduly broken...

My mother purchased a can from aldi, she opened the package last night and peeled the foil off the top of the can. She noticed a blue item laying over the top and thought maybe it was to seal freshness. As she peeled it back, she noticed it was a blue latex glove. It seemed it was stuck during the packaging process. Looks like the top lid was sealed on someone's glove and rather then taking the top back off they took their glove off and left it inside, the glove is sealed from the side

About Aldi
One of Aldi's key strategies is its focus on private label products. The company sources its products directly from manufacturers, cutting out the middleman and passing on the savings to customers. This allows Aldi to offer a wide range of products at prices that are often significantly lower than those of its competitors.
In addition to its private label products, Aldi also offers a selection of branded products. However, the company is highly selective about the brands it carries, choosing only those that meet its strict quality standards. This approach has helped Aldi build a reputation for offering high-quality products at affordable prices.
Another key aspect of Aldi's business model is its focus on efficiency. The company operates with a lean staffing model, with stores typically staffed by just a handful of employees. This allows Aldi to keep its overhead costs low, which in turn allows the company to offer lower prices to customers.
Aldi is also known for its unique shopping experience. The company's stores are designed to be simple and easy to navigate, with products displayed in their shipping boxes rather than on shelves. This approach helps to keep costs low, as it eliminates the need for expensive shelving and display units.
Overall, Aldi has built a successful business by focusing on quality, efficiency, and affordability. The company's no-frills approach to grocery shopping has resonated with customers around the world, making Aldi one of the most successful supermarket chains in the world.
