Friendly farms unsweetened almond milk
I purchased some almond milk around 2020. I went to use it the end of Dec 2020 and it was lumpy and had mold on the rim of the spout.
The effective date is 2/3/2021 however it went bad long before that date.
Can you help me out? I really didnt have the chance to even have a cup of the almond milk before it went bad. This makes me reconsider buying it in future.
Thank you
Lisa
Covid, safety concerns
New store floor plan construction finished around first November Salisbury NC. Shoppers excessive walking around and staying in store longer because of rearrangement (can't locate product looking for). Produce at door right as you walk in. Shoppers congregate there. I have to move in and out of people and wait for them to get out of my way just to go shopping. Not covid friendly. At checkout, I didn't get to use my basket to exit store. Loaded my groceries into the basket that was used by the person who checked out in front of me. Not covid friendly. I waited to see if basket at cash register was sanitized before the next person. It was not sanitized just like mine was not sanitized when cashed out. Not covid friendly. New stricter covid North Carolina restrictions have been implemented. Other grocery stores have an employee sanitizing baskets at the entrance. ALDI used to do this. Now, not covid friendly.
Basically the bottom line is ALDI is not exhibiting actions that protect employees and shoppers from covid. The new store layout change was and is not covid friendly. Actions speak louder than words!
Racial profiling: in-store security
Algarve Albufeira/Guia etc:
The complaint refers to the store at Alcantarilha, Guia and also Boliqueime. I have ben using Aldi regularly for the past 5 years. It's quite astounding that on almost every visit, I am followed by the security staff because I am black, from the very moment I walk through the door. I'm an British expat, living in Albufeira for 10 years now, and it's quite disturbing with the racial profiling Aldi is allowing to occur within it's stores. I have only just several days ago, told the security guard at Alcantarilha store to 'Back Off' and do his job watching other customers. The girl at the till had apologized to me. It's clear beyond doubt that the Aldi choice of in-store security is 'Racist'. It happened again today (11th Nov) in Boliqueime, a guard being very tall and sloppy dressed followed me around from the moment of entering to the point of brushing my shoulder as I was shopping, leaning in as I was to select a bar of chocolate. Always at the 'check-out' prior to me leaving they follow, the same at each and every store. This should be a topic on Facebook to educate of customers. It's disgraceful and I'm sick of it. It's not even subtle, they are literally behind you on every turn in the store.
Not giving back change to customers
I have been shopping at Aldi in Salem, New Hampshire for years now, and until recently I have been extremely happy with them. Due to the coin shortage, they have put up signs asking customers to provide exact change or use alternate payment. I always purchase with cash and do not use a debit card, and make every effort to provide either exact change when...

I've had two containers of Southern Grove Dry Roasted Peanuts (unsalted) lately and they both have a strange smell. I transferred them to another plastic container to see where the smell was coming from and it was definitely from the nuts. They taste OK, but I'm throwing out the rest. They were purchased at Aldis stores in the Pittsburgh area.
Not giving customers change shortage of change
Went shopping 10/10 /20 noticed the cashier explanation to the customer in front of me that he had no change to give her, I noticed that he did .I proceeded to check out and he told me that he had no change. I informed him that I am not leaving the store without it.receipt # 9416/460/159/004/012
The cashier was Scott this problem has been going on for months and was wondering the amount of change people have not received because of this

Return for papaya
I purchased a papaya and it did not ripen after one week do I took it back. The store manager would not honor the aldi double return of refunding money plus a free replacement. He mentioned due to covid19, he wasn't allowed to do both.
Corporate. Is this current policy?
Lack of covid 19 adherence in check out lanes
Aldi in Pickerington, Ohio does not have the check out lanes marked per the State of Ohio distance rule. I asked the customer in back of me to step back a little and she was not nice in her response to me. I said to the check out clerk that the lane was not marked and she indicated that they were marked but probably came up due to...
Please have the lanes marked so that negative customer interaction is minimal. I love shopping at Aldi stores but please follow the State guidelines during this Covid 19 pandemic.
Layout
The aisles are too close together, the doors are on the wrong side as in the exit door is on the left and the entrance door is on the right, the tinned fruit should be with the rest of the tinned fruit, all the frozen stuff is random and the staff throw your shopping and expect you to pack it quickly.
My debit card (my checking account) was charged 100.00 for cash return
I live and frequent the Aldi's in Staunton VA. Today a clerk cleaned the Debit/Credit card machine while my Debit card was inserted, in the middle of my transaction. My Debit card (my checking account) was charged 100.00 for cash return. I, in no way wanted or needed this to happen!
After this my checking account went into overdraft charging a fee of 25 dollars! When I got upset about the issue I was put out in front of check out lines and "dealt" with quickly and harshly by the person who represented herself as the store manager. Instead of taking me aside! In front of everyone there! I looked like the criminal!
She proceeded to produce 100 dollars in cash. I am a nurse. I did not want to touch anything not sanitize. I could spread this pandemic virus to the elderly I work with! I refused! Of course making me look like the bad guy. Good move on her part! She said she could do nothing else, then proceeded to hand me her personal phone. Again, unsanitized. She told me to talk to her district manager on that phone!
I'm telling you, if I get Covid19 (corononavirus) spread in my facility, after I possibly get put out of work, you are to blame!
POOR customer service. Not only do I have to deal with shame, I might just possibly be a link now in this infection. She purposely looked put out to make me look bad!
And at the very least deal with the repercussions to my personal finances! Which to me is a valid concern.
Aldi's...do you not train your staff and manager!
I am very well alert and aware that grocery workers are front staff. So am I!
Stop shuffling your customers like cattle!
Went yesterday shopping for seniors hour letting anyone in filthy hardly anyone wearing masks i'm scared what a joke
Went shopping yesterday at the Aldi's in Melrose Park Illinois letting anyone in for seniors filthy people standing next to the cartalking on cell phones what a joke not practicing safety at all not concerned about others at all people stocking the meat counter no masks at all real concern for others first time I've been out of the house in a month if I get sick I'll know where I got it
Too many people in your aldi store whitstable today
Shopping in the Whitstable Store in Kent today was a scary nightmare.
The assistant on the door at 8.45am 8th April 2020, was just letting in too many people the store was packed out with customers, making
it impossible to keep a distance between customers. After coming out i
was quite frightened by the whole experience. I just cannot take that chance
anymore, you do not seem to care about your customers safety and the government guide line about keeping distance between people in your stores with the rampant corona virus danger
Crowded shopping. Too many people
Went shopping today to pick up essentials. There was a security guard on the front door, letting people in. When we got into the store it was jam packed. We are all meant to be keeping our distance and there was pallets everywhere and crowds of people in gangs. It is not acceptable. From an angry customer. Jennie Shaw
Dangerous can
The very first thing that happens everytime is the key will not turn the strip of metal and the entire thing snaps off. Now we have to get out pliers, screwdrivers and knives to try and open the can. Not only do we come close to cutting off a finger (either by the tools or peeling sharp metal of the can) but now the meat has small shards of metal and it cannot be eaten, even by my dog! The square can makes it impossible to use a can opener (we tried).
This can design has been around for 100 years, I think its time to come up with new packaging. A peel off top like spam would be wonderful! Thank you for letting me vent!
Cocktail peanuts with sea salt
When I got close to the bottom of the can I noticed a lot more oil than usual. So I decided to take the peanuts out, dry them with a paper towel & put them into a new can. I found a small nail under the peanuts laying on the bottom of the can. My 3 year old grandson likes to tip the can up and drop the nuts into his mouth. Thank God he didn't swallow this nail! Someone is responsible for this. I have 4 photos of the outside & inside of the can.
Customer service: unprofessional behavior
store#54 74 Pershing Dr. Derby, CT cashier: Elijah The cashier wouldn't allow me to use the carriage to place my food in my bags rushed to get my food out before I could finish paying to cause the next customer's food to be combined with mine and was rude about it. I regularly buy my paper towel at Aldi in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Until now, I haven't noticed any smell on clean paper towels. The last time I did my shopping on December 10, 2019, and that was the first time I purchased smelly paper towels. The towel smells like junk food, similar to salty cheese-doodles. It's disgusting. Sometimes we don't know what...

I've been purchasing this chocolate milk for sometime now. Usually has a nice rich taste to it!
I purchased two half-gallon containers the week of December 1. I was not satisfied with the taste. It was bitter and quite frankly, tasted as if it was past expiration!
It tasted terrible and not its normal flavor. We will most likely throw it out because it taste so bad. Asking for a refund for these items.

About Aldi
One of Aldi's key strategies is its focus on private label products. The company sources its products directly from manufacturers, cutting out the middleman and passing on the savings to customers. This allows Aldi to offer a wide range of products at prices that are often significantly lower than those of its competitors.
In addition to its private label products, Aldi also offers a selection of branded products. However, the company is highly selective about the brands it carries, choosing only those that meet its strict quality standards. This approach has helped Aldi build a reputation for offering high-quality products at affordable prices.
Another key aspect of Aldi's business model is its focus on efficiency. The company operates with a lean staffing model, with stores typically staffed by just a handful of employees. This allows Aldi to keep its overhead costs low, which in turn allows the company to offer lower prices to customers.
Aldi is also known for its unique shopping experience. The company's stores are designed to be simple and easy to navigate, with products displayed in their shipping boxes rather than on shelves. This approach helps to keep costs low, as it eliminates the need for expensive shelving and display units.
Overall, Aldi has built a successful business by focusing on quality, efficiency, and affordability. The company's no-frills approach to grocery shopping has resonated with customers around the world, making Aldi one of the most successful supermarket chains in the world.
