Amazon cancelled prime membership

I cancelled a prime membership in April 2018. I had not used it & to pay $13.77 monthly for someth in ng I dont use is ridiculous. I cancelled by phone & in writing with both Amazon office & Synchrony bank who services the account. I am still being billed each month 7 months later. My credit score has fallen since this is showing as mon-payment. I have called Amazon several times & also contacted Synchrony Bank.
Customer Service at Amazon is horrible & can not speak English. Places you continually on brief hold (their terminology). No supervisor available.
This is unreasonable & going on for months.
I rarely ordered from Amazon before & definitely will not order from them anymore. This needs to be rectified.

Amazon amazon's shipping and billing

For at least 6 months (maybe longer, ) everything amazon shipped. was shipped via the post office first, then replacements MAY have been shipped via UPS or FedEx, but sometimes were resent via the post office (USPS.) The problem is that USPS did not actually deliver the items to me. They were getting left street side, in the middle of a small city with a high rate of crime involving theft and dishonesty (not violent, thought there is some violence, just not much and usually not deadly.) These items would be stolen before I was even notified that they were left. I live in a secure building and USPS has keys to enter, as the mailboxes are located in the hallway on the ground level. The entry way has 2 set of doors, interior and exterior. The interior doors are locked and there is an intercom system and the door can be unlocked remotely. USPS delivery drivers are too lazy to unlock the interior and at least leave the packages behind a locked door. They are too lazy to use the intercom to inform me of the fact they have just left packages in a place where anyone can take them. Then after failing to deliver the packages (and I believe some of the packages were kept the drivers, ) they report them as delivered, but I never received them. for 6 months or more this went on with a 100% fail rate. The items were mostly low cost items, but a lot of them. amazon always replaced the items. When the replacement were sent via UPS or FedEx (and on the rare occasion when the initial shipment was made via UPS or FedEx, ) I got the items sent. Sometimes, amazon would screw me over, because a price changed between the time of the original order and the loss, so I would get a refund instead of a replacement and have to buy again at the higher price and go through the whole routine of lose and replace. I need to reiterate: 100% FAIL RATE by USPS. If it was too large to fit in my mailbox, I did not get it, unless sent by UPS or FedEx. There were no exceptions. Every time, I complained about it and tried to explain that the USPS drivers in my area are too lazy to do their jibs and may even be stealing the items for themselves. amazon has become so automated that they can not change the shipper. amazon chooses the shipper based on the lowest price charged for shipping the item. The consumer has no say and the consumer's input is totally ignored. The past performance is totally ignored. the customer service reps keep lying and saying how sorry they are this happened and make false assurances that it won't happen again, but happens every time.

Finally, I ordered an item with a higher price. An Asus curved, 27" 2560 X 1440p, GSync, Gaming Display. Specifically a ROG PG27V. On sale for $757 and an installment offer of 6 payments, including the initial payment. They sent it via USPS. It was not delivered, it was left street side and went walkabout, but USPS claimed delivered. I complained to both Amazon and USPS. Nothing was done, amazon refused to take any action and after 2 months of trying to deal with it, was finally told they needed a police report. For the police report, I needed a serial number, but in amazon's automation, the record everything necessary to track a package, if the shipper is being honest, but they DO NOT record the serial numbers, even they are listed on the outside of the box in both numbers and barcode format. So, I can't file an actionable police report. Result: amazon does nothing. USPS does nothing.

Well, I say amazon does nothing, but that's not true. Because amazon refused to replace the item, because amazon chose to keep using USPS in spite of a 100% fail rate, because they ignored me every time, because, even while this was going on the reps kept lying to me, claiming the item was on it's way (even though it was clearly lost and quite obvious amazon had not sent a replacement, ) or claiming it would be resolved and I would not be charged, I had to cancel my credit card and get a replacement with a new number and issue a chargeback for the initial payment. I can no longer purchase anything from amazon and had to cancel my membership, because amazon keeps trying to charge me for the item that was never delivered. My last attempt to resolve it resulted in my being passed, endlessly from 1 rep to another, all of whom said the same thing, "so sorry, let me fix this. So sorry I can't, let transfer you to a specialist who can." Except, they didn't transfer me to a specialist. They simply transferred me to another rep. 10 transfers. On the last transfer, nothing was said by the rep. Nothing at all. Instead, the connection was terminated and access to my account was terminated. I can no longer log in to amazon. amazon keeps sending me emails about failed attempts to collect payments and how as soon as I provide a number for a CC it will be charged. I have items that I purchased from amazon, that I can no longer use, because the supplies for those items is not available locally and I can buy them from amazon, except I can't. I spent so much money with amazon over the years and they went from a consumer friendly, consumer oriented company, to an uncaring, overly automated super giant that lies constantly to it's customers. They have grown too large and become too automated to be reliable any more. Rather than deal with a problem of their own making, they just ignore it. Rather than deal with the issue they created for me, they just locked me out of my account. 10 years with amazon. no loyalty or care for their customer.

What I got from amazon was poor service, disrespect, lies and charged for products never received. The lies were blatantly obvious and insulting all at once. I was being told things that even an idiot could tell were not true and had no way of being true. 1 rep, after 2 weeks into it, with no package and USPS claiming it was delivered, claimed that the item was in fact still on it's way. Just trying to get me past the point where I would be able to issue a charge back. When I went to my bank to get the chargeback issued, it turned that they had a great many account holders having exactly the same issues: USPS does not deliver but claims they did and amazon keeps trying to charge them. amazon doesn't seem to understand that usps is unreliable for anything that won't fit in a mailbox. USPS is not a business, it is federal government, which means that their employees can't be fired for laziness or failing their in job. If UPS drivers behaved the way USPS drivers do, they would be out of a job within a couple of days. All amazon cares about now, is getting their money. As long as amazon gets their money, they don't care if the customer gets what was paid for. amazon has 3 policies: policy #1 is for sellers on amazon, and they need to adhere to a strict set of rules, policy #2 is for amazon, when the items are low cost, and it's fairly positive for the customer, policy #3 is for amazon when the items are of a higher cost (not sure where the threshold is, but I expect it to be in the $300 to $500 range, ) and it's a policy of "Too bad for the customer, make them pay anyway and screw them! We want the money, no exceptions! Doesn't matter that we have created the situation and refuse to record the information necessary to allow the customer to adhere to our policies! We did that on purpose, because we know that by not recording the serial numbers, there is nothing the customer can do about it and the customer will be unable to meet the demands of our policies, therefore allowing us to charge them anyway."

amazon has become a cesspool of corporate greed and corruption. I fully believe amazon is fully aware of the USPS unreliability and just doesn't care. Cancelling access to my account as a means of "dealing" with problem is a cheap shot. I have suffered injury and insult from amazon. It has been many months since all this has occurred and the anguish I feel keeps growing. It's not just anguish, either. I find myself trusting less and less.

I am actually thinking about filing a lawsuit with the intent of making it a class action suit (and for the wannabe lawyers out there, I know what a class action lawsuit is and that a single individual in a lawsuit does not make it a class action. It needs to be a lot of people all in the same lawsuit for the same or very similar reason.)

Also, for the grammar police: I intentionally did not use a capital (uppercase) A for amazon, as sign of disrespect.

Amazon amazon delivery service

My husband ordered a power sander. It was due to arrive on Nov. 19, 2018 via amazon's own delivery service.
It did not arrive. We waited another day and then called them on Nov. 20, 2018. They told us that according to their delivery service's tracking number the package WAS delivered. However we do not have it.
So they said they would investigate and we should wait 3 days and call back again. We called on Nov. 23rd and they said their investigation showed that the package was delivered to us. They have no photo and they have no signature...yet they refuse to replace the item or give us credit.
Their delivery service is terrible. Several times we have received packages with other peoples' names and addresses!
Terrible service...this was to be a gift for our son...we have no merchandise and they are keeping our money!

Does anyone else feel uneasy about Just anyone getting your address and delivering packages to your door. I live in a pretty small development and we notice most cars and people that are new. The amazon delivery people have nothing on their cars to suggest who they are. At least with the post office, UPS and Fed Ex you see the truck and a uniformed person. Not full proof against fraud or stealing but some resemblance of comfort?

Go to your bank and issue a chargeback!
amazon has become unreliable, overly automated and filled with liars and cheats.

There was a time when amazon was great and reliable, now they are just an automated nightmare who refuses to properly resolve issues. I had to issue a chargeback and change my CC number to stop them. Now, they have cancelled access to my account, keep sending me emails about failed charges and keep trying to charge a cancelled for an item that was never delivered.

They have become too big and no longer care about their customers, They only care about getting your money, not you and the product or service you paid for. It's too bad, they used to be good. When you go to your bank, I bet you'll find they have a large number of people doing the same because of amazon.

I tried the same avenues -- chat, custom service, e-mails, and finally an e-mail to Jeff Bezos that was later NOT answered by one of his executives. I think it is time to pursue legal action against Amazon. This appears to be a high volume disclosure, so a class action lawyer would likely take this case on for a chance at a portion of the money recovered. Since we don't know where, when, or to whom they released our information, we don't know what losses we will suffer down the road, but based upon how deceptive Amazon is being, we have a right to be concerned and to compel them to provide more information.

This is amazon for! Answer nothing! Keep going in circles until the customer gives up in frustration. Make sure you lie as often as necessary and even though you will resolve nothing, assure the customer that you have resolved everything.

I'm actually beginning to believe that amazon is being controlled by a human hating AI. Customer service is now either a bunch of idiots from india who's only job is to lie to amazon's customers, or it is an AI pretending to be a bunch of idiots from india.

Please note that I didn't use uppercase letters for amazon or india. This is an intentional act of disrespect. I am tired of taking to people in india or hispanics with accents so bad they can not rightly claim to be speaking English and language barrier so thick they can't even understand the question, let alone, answer it.

Amazon salt and pepper robots. listed clothing prices

First I spent over $21.00 on a pair of robot Salt and Pepper Shakers as a gift. When they arrived I opened the package and followed the directions on their operation. I wound them up and they would move two steps and stop movement. I would expect poor quality such as this from flea markets, but not from Amazon. I still presented them as gifts to my step daughter. She likes them and she says their operation is not important. That did not decrease my disappointment in Amazon. It is the FIRST time in 6 years of holding an Amazon account this has happened. I thought Amazon had higher quality control of its products exceeding Wal-Mart's. but I see that is not the case.

Secondly while ordering 6 shirts this afternoon, most of the shirt listed varying prices on each entry. I was surprised only four sites listed prices as they were listed. I was shocked at the shipping prices of the items not covered by Amazon Prime. List a shirt for $6.99 then adding a shipping price of $6.99 t $9.99 for shipping is ridiculous. My wife loves bargains and while the basic price was to her satisfaction, paying additional shipping charges for EACH item turn her away from further orders from Amazon. I explained to her to check for the Amazon Prime logo on each entry. but when she saw orders from some of your sites would take two weeks or more for delivery, she ceased her searches and said she will go to Macy's or Penny's for their Last Chance and Clearance sales. She said the prices were listed on sale items in those stores. They didn't use the bated low price listed on you sites. I had to agree with her.

Amazon delivery

I ordered a 12V car to 5.5x21 adapter. When it hadn't come after about 2 weeks, I emailed them about it. They said it can take 25-35 days to arrive. After it had been about 40 days, I emailed again. They told me to wait 2 more weeks. After more than 2 weeks, I emailed again as it still hadn't arrived. They offered me an 80% refund. I told them it should be 100% refund because it was their fault, and they complied. It was on $3, so I don't really care about the money. But I wasted 2 months waiting for an item that I never received, and probably never was sent.

Amazon fraudulent transactions

Hi,

I am from India and a loyal customer of Amazon (www.amazon.in). I had saved my debit cards for faster checkout. However, today i.e. 03.11.18, in the morning I noticed that a transaction is made of INR 15393.59 i.e. $200 on amazon.com for purchasing some PlayStation Gift Card without my knowledge through my saved debit card (ending with 0931). It is surprising that transaction took place at around 2.42 a.m. Indian Standard Time when I was sleeping. Initially, $200 (Order Ref: [protected]) loaded in the pay balance and then 3 orders simultaneously placed without my knowledge and authorization. This could be either a technical glitch or fraudulent activity. Surprisingly, I have never ordered on amazon.com and I was not aware that having an account in amazon.in (India) could lead to become an automatic user in amazon.com.

Details of unauthorized orders are:

1. [protected]
2. [protected]
3. [protected]

Please look into it and arrange to refund. It is displayed in your website that your payment mechanism is the safest. You can track through IP or any other suitable means that how these transactions could take place without an authorization from the customer. It does not give confidence to save cards in your portal.

sincerely,
Rajat Goswami

Amazon order # [protected]

I ordered this item and selected the 2 day shipping option. I went in the next day to track the package and it said it would be delivered 5 days after the promised delivery date. I called your customer service and they just kept telling me I couldn't have it when I was promised and would have to wait the extra 5 days. I contacted your chat line and told them I was on the phone with your customer service line. All I wanted was what I ordered and for it to be delivered when it was promised. Both customer service reps told me there was no way for them to contact the warehouse. One tried to get me to cancel the order and place a higher priced order, after requesting to speak to her supervisor (she wouldn't let me) she offered to give me a credit. Once again, all I wanted was what I ordered to be delivered when it was supposed to be delivered. The chat rep insulted me and the phone rep refused to let me speak to anyone else. I don't want to cancel one order to place another, I want my order to be filled correctly. Why would your service reps not have the ability to call or email your warehouse? Why would you offer me 2 day delivery when it is not an option? Why would your customer service supervisor refuse to let me speak to her supervisor? I never yelled or cussed or directed any comments to them personally as I know it is not their fault. I have the transcript and I'm sure you have the recordings. I expect better from Amazon.

Amazon refused a store credit to amazon prime account by a supervisor

Called into amazon.com customer service on Mon 10-22-18 gave my order numbers to a customer service rep by the name of Jay. He pulled up all my info verified order dates and promised me a $30 amazon prime account credit that I could use on a future order. I called about defective trash cans I had recently purchased in April of 2018 (2) of them and also one more on March 31st. 2017. I explained the trash cans were warping, were made of rubber plastic material, the lids don't fit on trash cans anymore due to the warping. The base is smaller and the top is bigger causing trash can to topple over every time something is put in it. He transfers me to someone named Joe B. in West Virginia someone higher up who could assist with the $30 credit. Joe proceeds to shout and call me a LIAR and says he will not honor what the previous rep Jay had promised me just moments ago. Joe then transfers me to a supervisor named Andrew and he also proceeds to act incredibly rude about the entire situation and puts me in hold to verify what the first rep told me about the credit of $30. Verifies its true, gets back on the line with me and says I can give you $15. I say that's not fair you verified it was $30. then he says rudely fine I'll give you nothing. Horrible customer service this company is going to the DOGS for treating good, decent, hard-working people this way and the people they hire should not be dealing or helping with customer service in any way.

Amazon amazon logistics lacks ability to deliver to a residential address

Three of my orders were listed as delivered and shipped by Amazon Logistics. When I tracked the package it showed a photo where it was delivered - not my house! I called and they said my house address had an incorrect location marked in their system. Surprising since any basic navigation app can find a f***ing house. She said she fixed it and guess what? It happened again. Amazon should focus on filling orders and leave logistics to the pros. I'm ordering from Target or Walmart now since they use shipping companies that actually deliver to the correct address.

Amazon redmi 6 pro mobile

I have booked a mobile from amazon, with extra payment of guarantee delivery on 13.10.2018. Courier boy refused to give me my order and said that my home (Mahim west, Mumbai) doesn't come in his area, so he will not deliver the product. I talked with customer care thrice on 13.10.2018 and 14.10.2018 both. I was given assurance that my product will be delivered to me by 13.10.2018 by 9:00 pm. Then with new call i was given assurance that, my product will be delivered to me by 14.10.2018. Again new courier boy on 14.10.2018 refused to give me my order saying that it doesn't come in his area. It extremely sad that company like Amazon do like this. Now amazon is returning my product without my cancellation. This is very bad and shameful. I don't need my money back, i need my product. Can you help in this? Why did you gave my product to courier service whose area is not under my home address. And without informing me you are returning my product. Within one hour of my talk with customer care you have returned the product to seller. How is it possible? Why are you making me fool. This is be fooling a customer. I hope, i will get my product back as product is still in my area.

Amazon euphoria (women's)

hiya, i ONLY wear Euphoria ever since it came out. it's abit pricey but to me totally worth it. since I have a handicap and don't drive I ordered my beloved perfume from amazon. it was disappointing, was small, the fragrance wasn't as rich and the scent disappeared almost immediately after spraying. I don't know if they sold expired or fake Euphoria, I am very disappointed

Amazon delivery

I have been present all day waiting for my delivery, I had even missed a day off work and I received a we missed you card through the letter box whereby they delivered my product to a neighbour who hasn't answered their door for me to return my product. I have been looking for a way to get my products back and have been unsuccessful I am appalled that I haven't been contacted with regards to who my parcel would be at and am concerned that I won't even receive my money back!

About Amazon

Amazon is a multinational technology company that is based in Seattle, Washington. It is one of the largest online retailers in the world, offering a wide range of products and services to customers across the globe. The company was founded in 1994 by Jeff Bezos, and it has since grown to become a household name, with a market capitalization of over $1 trillion.

Amazon's success can be attributed to its innovative business model, which has disrupted traditional retail markets. The company's online platform allows customers to browse and purchase products from a vast selection of categories, including electronics, books, clothing, and household items. Amazon also offers a range of services, such as Amazon Prime, which provides customers with free shipping, access to streaming services, and other benefits.

In addition to its retail operations, Amazon has also expanded into other areas of technology, such as cloud computing and artificial intelligence. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a cloud computing platform that provides businesses with a range of services, including storage, computing power, and analytics. AWS is one of the largest cloud computing providers in the world, with a market share of over 30%.

Amazon's success has not been without controversy, however. The company has faced criticism over its treatment of workers, with reports of poor working conditions and low wages. Amazon has also been accused of anti-competitive practices, with some critics arguing that the company's dominance in the retail market gives it an unfair advantage over smaller competitors.

Despite these challenges, Amazon continues to be a major player in the technology industry, with a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction. The company's commitment to providing high-quality products and services has helped it to maintain its position as one of the most valuable companies in the world.
