On June 15 purchased a kitchen sink the tracking showed that it would be delivered on July 28 and July 27. I can check the tracking to make sure that it was coming as scheduled and it then said it was delivered June 19. When I called and spoke to Amazon customer service, they said it was a matter for the shipper so I called DHL. They told me that the tracking number that Amazon provided was not for me and that they never had a package or an order to be shipped to me in their system. So I again called Amazon customer service, who directed me to file a police report for stolen package. I told him it wasn’t stolen that I had been scammed and that it would be filing a false report. They told me to do it anyway if I wanted my refund. On July 31, I called the sheriffs department where I live and informed him of the situation and I was given a card with the number on it. I called Amazon customer service back and gave them the number and they said that the sheriffs department had no record of my report. On August 4, that called and spoke to the sheriffs department again after which I was given another number for my case, called Amazon, and again gave them the new number and they said they could not help me because I was supposed to have the report filed by August 3. I said I had never been informed of any such thing and then checked my inbox from Amazon after the car and on August 4 I was sent an email stating that I had to have the report filed by August 3. The day before. Though I had filed the report on July 31 after calling on August 4 it changed the date to that day so Amazon said they will not help me because I filed a report a day late. Though all of this is it relevant seeing as how DHL provided me with an email saying that they never had a package for me in the first place. I even bought new countertops in anticipation of this new sink. I am very disappointed and frustrated with Amazon in the situation and I want my $192.14 back.
Desired outcome: Please refund and apology
