Didn't receive correct financial compensation
I donated 6 times in January 2022 in Deptford NJ. The total payment was supposed to be $600, I only received $360, my 6th payment was supposed to $240 only received $20. The 1st time I called I left a voice message, never received a return call. The 2nd time I called spoke to an employee, was told that I had to speak to a supervisor. I left my name and #, never received a return call.
The 3rd time I called was put on hold for over 20 minutes, I was at work and couldn't hold on any longer. I kept up my part of the deal by donating plasma, BioLife should do the same by way of giving me the total compensation.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate it if I could receive my $240 that is owed to me. I should be compensated the monies that were advertised.

Wait times
I've been coming to Biolife for a while and even though the people working there are friendly, they are completely understaffed. Should never take 2 and a half hours to donate. Only 2 people doing the screening, 2 people sticking and like 1 person taking people off the machines. That's for 3 different areas too. Waiting 30 minutes to get screened and then...

I have sat here a half hour twice in a row now like a rock.

Turned away at door
On February 15th 2022, I went in to donate plasma for the first time. I had made my appointment in advance and read all the prep material on the website and that was emailed to me. However, when I arrived at the center, I was turned away even before being greeted or checked in. The receptionist scowled at me and stated, "Um, is that baby with you?" I...

Came in to make a donation, one of the employees came up and asked me to take my tshirt off or turn inside out!
It was a white tshirt that said biden sucks, kamala swallows
I said no it’s freedom of speech! If you don’t like it don’t look!
Howie the employee went and got manager and she stated we’re a private business and our right to remove you or turn inside out or we give you other shirt
I told her the same thing, if you don’t like it, don’t look! I said [censored] this and I’m leaving
She stated next time you come back we talk about your language, lol I stated im never coming back! Freedom of speech!
The Supervisor on Thursday at the Airport Location
Not only did she follow me into the waiting room while I was trying to drop keys off to my cousin but she was talking about me with some of her other staff members ... RUDE ! YOU ALL NEED TO CLEAN HOUSE YOUR STAFF'S BEHAVIOR IS APPALLING! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE

These wait times are ridiculous!
I’m at the Great Falls location in Montana and even with the hiring of more people and those people being on the floor, wait times have not changed! I don’t have the time to waste 2-3 hours every time I come in. And not only are the wait times ridiculous, the people on the floor can’t get their stuff together because I’ve spent no less than 20 minutes in a bed waiting to be hooked up to a machine every time I come in; one time it was 35! I’m getting to a point where I don’t want to come in anymore because I know it’s not going to be a quick 45 minutes like it use to be.
Desired outcome: Cut appointments to where they are manageable for the staff and stop over booking appointments!!!

BioLife McDonough GA
Hey I’ve been trying to donate at the BioLife plasma center in McDonough for over four months now. The first time I went I waited for hours to see the nurse. When I did finally see the nurse, after going through and putting in my medication and answering a bunch of questions, I was told that I needed to have a paper signed by my doctor. I took the paper to my doctors office and gave it to them to sign and fax back. BioLife said they never got it. My doctors office gave me the form they faxed back. Either BioLife gave me the wrong form for my doctors office doesn’t know what they’re doing. Who is to blame is anyone’s guess. I took the paperwork again. Same outcome. Each time I had gone to bio life, waited for hours, only to be told that they hadn’t got the paperwork. Finally I went to my doctors office with the paperwork in hand and waited for the doctor to sign it then took it to BioLife to make sure that they got the paperwork. Then I had to call them to make sure that it was all OK. Again this is all taking hours. I was told it was OK, I signed up to donate plasma, I went in and waited for hours to see the nurse who decided to go over every single thing that I had already been over with some other nurse, only to be told that the scarring on my arm from a fire that I was in in 1984 didn’t look right so could I come back another time. No I cannot come back another time. Apparently they think it’s perfectly fine to waste my time even though they could see my arms the entire time I was there and it wasn’t until hours later that all of a sudden the scarring didn’t look right. It’s freaking scarring that’s the way it looks. So bio life is horrible and I will never go there again. If you decide you wanna give plasma, go someplace else.
Coupons for Starting Monday and ending Sunday
I come and go as a client. Recently was sent advertising of first donation 20$ second 100$. My first was unfortunately on a Saturday. So I set a schedule up for Wednesday. But noticed this little quotation next to the promotion coupon and opened.
It says only from Monday through Sunday. Starting on Monday . Wow! You think I’m going back in for 20$. Knowing the second donation is the one you want. I will not give you the luxury of printing side notes limiting donations between dates and not get my bonus for the second donation. I will wait a few weeks and go the competitor
Desired outcome: I want my bonus of 20$ the first donation and 100$ the second with out having 2 first donation’s while you get the benefit

Promotions & Payment
This place is the worst Plasma payment ever! First they will bombard your email with advertisement about coming back for X amount of dollars. Then once you accept one of the promotions to come back as a returning donor they will make every excuse imagine to not honor the advertisement. The most recent was an advertisement was come back for $700. Since day 1 of donating with them I had an identity issue. For some reason they disregard the ssn. However the first excuse was they had to go to corporate they would contact me when the issue was resolved! I have to have an employee call. All of a sudden now I have to come on certain days, which of course the days they have selected makes me ineligible for the promotion payment! They are worse than car salesman who bait & switch! If you are a donor I would recommend NOT sending anyone there! Plasma crooks! This company is the worst Highly do not recommend ANYONE going there! They make you schedule an appointment to only have to wait some three hours or longer after your scheduled appointment! I cannot emphasize the worst plasma donation center in Jacksonville, FL!
Desired outcome: I would like you to honor your advertised return donor promotions!

Wrong Deferral
Biolife Center in Wausau, WI.
4 years ago a family member of mine was given a false positive result from this biolife location for hepatitis. This being a serious matter, this person got tested at a hospital and has the paperwork to prove the results are negative, and they do not in fact hepatitis. Even with this paperwork, they were banned for life. When asked why a mistake made by their company is affecting this person, the employees response was, "our lab doesn't make mistakes". This response is completely false, as there are negative hepatitis test results that they simply wont look at.
fast forward 4 years, all of which I myself have been donating. I am just now being told that I cannot donate until I don't live with this person because of the positive test. I mentioned multiple times that there are negative tests results to prove I never lived with a positive hepatitis person, and they didn't care.
I don't understand how a mistake made by biolife can lead to an entire family being differed for life when everyone is perfectly healthy and eligible, not to mention the fact that I have been donating for FOUR YEARS since the hepatitis false positive. They are unwilling to reason and communicate to help resolve this issue.
Dear Biolife, if you're the ones who mess up and make mistakes, do not make manipulate your policy so that others are affected for your screw ups.
Desired outcome: Please reverse the deferral individuals as they simply make no sense. There is no positive case of hepatitis. The mistake was made by your company, own up to it.
Office closed with no notice!
My appointment was for Friday @8:15am. I arrived to the Bloomington office at 8:10 to find a “we are closed today” hand written sign on the door. I drove 15 mins on my snow covered country road to enter the highway being cleared to travel to the office with no problems. I feel the app, or a representative should have notified me the day prior or as soon as they knew they were going to hand write a sign to hang that they would be closed! Very frustrating and disappointing.
Desired outcome: Explanation, credit and/or bonus for my arriving to my appointment unable to make my donation.
Deferred for a safe condition
I have celiac disease. All of the scientific data supports the evidence that it is safe for celiacs to donate plasma, so long as your iron levels are fine. No other plasma donation center has ever had an issue with this. They told me at the center that it was a permanent deferral and gave me no option to appeal this decision.
Your information is wrong and outdated. Celiac disease is in no way transmissible and is not considered a risk in blood or plasma donations in any way.
Desired outcome: I want my name removed from the deferral registry and your employees and policies updated on current scientific data regarding this.
Discrimination
I came here a week ago and the only reason I wasn't able to I'm 2 donate was because my iron was a couple points off so I came back when my iron was up and it seemed like the nurse had an issue with me The 2nd time around because the other nurse had cleared me and so the manager came up saying that he had called people when I'd been sitting there the whole time and he had not called anyone the nurse walked up to him and talked to him for 2 seconds and then he came up and talked to me and said some absolute [censored] is a loop [censored] and the nurse never left the area either either saying that they went and talked to the other nurse which how is that possible if she never left the area and they said they called about 5 different people within less than 5 minutes I don't know if they realize I had been sitting They are the whole time but they lied to me terribly it terribly like they literally thought I was retarded cause I was retarded because I was watching them and they did not do any of what they said they did and denied me for no reason except for the nurse didn't like me and use my tattoos as an excuse because my tattoos were not in the way last time but all of a sudden they're in the way when I haven't gotten any new ones
I've talked to my lawyer and based on what happened this is discrimination and I have a huge chance in court
Desired outcome: Either being able to donate or some sort of other compensation since this was complete discrimination
Customer service front desk
I arrived for my first appointment at 12:15 a few minutes early. The person at the desk was friendly and took my info and had me wait in the waiting room/child care area.
The same employee came to me and asked me what time I ate breakfast. I told her 7am.
She said that was too long ago to donate today.
I let her know that was what time I had eaten breakfast. I had eaten lunch at 11 and also a snack right before I headed out to my appointment.
I had a healthy lunch,
as well I had just eaten 350 calorie healthy snack right before coming and had been drinking water all morning.
She said that was not enough and told me to come back another time.
I booked this appointment, took time out of my day and made sure I had followed all of the guidelines.
I felt dismissed and shoo’d out of the appointment.
I was ready and able to get my physical as well as donate plasma today and was ushered out quickly without any sufficient answers to my questions about why I couldn’t keep my appointment except that I had not eaten enough.
She kept saying this as well as that the nurse would be mad at her. She really wasn't making sense and I decided to take next weeks appointment that was offered and just leave.
Desired outcome: I would like compensation for my time and efforts. I would like the employee to have more training. This was my first experience at BioLife and I am not sure I feel comfortable coming back.
Donation
informed my BioLife plasma services center on golf links in Tucson of a issue with my last donation. In addition to calling me a liar she humiliated Me by forcing me to speak to her in front of everybody including her two trainees about the. She told me there was no way that the gray bubble coming out of the hole before the technician turned the machine on having stuck me first before she turned the machine on was my vein as a former medical professional for the last 20 years I don't appreciate being called a liar. In addition to that if you look down upon your customer and don't want us to donate that's fine I was asking for compensation for my Ms donation and instead she humiliated me in front of everybody. I will not be donating with you again I have 6, 000 followers on Twitter Facebook Instagram and tick tock and I will be letting them know exactly how I was treated by your company. Thank you Kristine Smith

Customer service and mask policy
BioLife employee (manager) Adam Foster was rude and has bad costumer service. Especially when we are here to save life's. I expect to be treated fairly. I entered wearing a proper face covering. The employee told me I had to put on another mask I can't wear cloth mask he stated. Wearing a cloth mask himself not FDA approved. My mask is FDA approved. Also...

I just donated plasma at the center above I never have and trouble and am in and out really fast this time I wasn't. I was bleeding around the needle and it was burning. So they pulled out and turned down the pressure eh he'd helped some but it must have messed up the vain and needle because I stopped being able to pump. My arm turned blue and completely numb and started bleeding again around the needle. I asked the tech that my arm was blue and he said ok and started the Machine again and said I'll get back to you. He did this several times without looking at my arm or listening to my concerns and whenever the machine would stop and beep because I wasn't pumping he would just walk over and start it back up and then leave again this was after I had told him that my arm was hurting and bleeding and blue. I called another person was walking g past and I asked her to release the blood pressure cuff because it was hurting and it would allow blood flow to my arm and when she was like ok he walked over and took over. He tired to put the blood back in me but it was just coming out around the I needle and I told him to just unhook me and let me leave which he did. I shouldn't have to ask multiple time for help and and my arm was blue he shouldn't have dropped everything and fixed that because of the possibility of permit damage to my arm. I should be paid because I gave 345 out of the 829 and even though it wasn't the full amount I was treated with no respect or regard. I should get more then I was going to get and I'm not happy with how things have been handled I will not be returning for now possibly ever. But I don't want someone to have the experience and I ask that the footage be reviewed and that the guy be retrained. I think he had good intentions but I had a pressing need and it wasn't acknowledging and completely ignored. I was in the copper area my appointment was at 8:55 and I left around 10. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely Rebekah Stoner

Donation payments misleading
I began donating plasma for the first time end of 2021 with a promo for $1000 for 8 at Biolife in San Marcos, CA. I couldn't complete the promo after my 5th donation because of covid and they would not let me return before the expiration if my promo due the wait period after Covid. I drove there Jan 8th 13 days after Covid which would have been my $150 payment day and had to be told it was too soon after Covid symptoms began and I had to wait one more day which was a Sunday so they said since they are closed Sunday I would be able to donate Monday. I explained the promo would be expired then. The nurse didn't seem to care. Wasted trip and gas. However I figured there would be another promo when mine expired and I would just return again after. I went back the following week because I saw a promo for donation for $120. I looked at my payment that was added to my card and it was only $20. I called to find out why it wasnt $120 as indicated in promo. I also said I never received a donation payment for under $100 so something must be wrong since I only received $20. I left a detailed voicemail and my phone number. No one bothered to call me back. I noticed on my app where the $120 promo was a tiny link/question mark you can click on. I clicked it and it gave more details of the promo. The promo is $120 for two donations not one and they donations need to be made within one week. However it says that the week is from Mon to Sat. So basically you get $20 then $100 on the second visit that week. Well this meant that I was denied full payment because my first visit was on Sat which apparently is the last day of their week and so I had no opportunity to go twice in a week since Saturday is their end of week. I was furious. I cannot believe I drove 30 minutes to San Marcos for $20. No one explains this to you! $20 does not cover my gas to San Marcos! I seriously cannot believe they market this as a $120 payment but don't let you know that ahead if time thar you cant donate after Saturday for the second donation! Extremely misleading! I will never go back there unless they can make this right by offering me a renewal of the expired promo I couldn't use due to covid or a way to compensate me for wasting my time Saturday for coming in for the misleading $120 promo that required me to donate twice to get paid and I had no opportunity to come back when Saturday was the last day but no one told me that when I came in! They need to do better at explaining the promos to their new donors and not misleading them!
Desired outcome: I would like Additional promo to cover the misleading promo or the expired promo renewed due to not being able to donate before expiration due to their wait time with covid.

Apparently, same thing just happened to me. I was surprised to get home after driving an hour to have received only $30.00. I tried to call and no one answers the phone!
Permanent deferral
I have been donating with BioLife in Tempe AZ since they opened. I have a protein/Blood issue that I get a form signed every year. I had neck surgery and after I did a physical and donated I got a call a few days later that they have a new policy. I took the form to my surgeon and when he called to ask why they needed it someone on the phone said I DONT...
