Braum's service/ cleanliness

Saturday 10/26/2019 @ 11:32 a.m. Order #481080. Ok so my family and I were out shopping. My son suggest a chocolate shake. So we enter Braum's to get lunch and shakes. On first appearance I notice a lot of empty dirty tables that needed to be cleaned. Being that there were 2 cars in drve thru and my family the only one inside at the moment. I know that the employees weren't to busy to clean. So I just simply set and wait for my order which was pretty simple. Then the glass dividers that are between the seats were so filthy that I was already disgusted. So not wanting to ruin lunch I just kept it to myself. My children wouldn't understand simple things like dusting and housekeeping they are too young. The food was good but if I would've got my complete order together that would've made it better. My sons happy meal didn't come with sack or fries or the happy meal book. I am just simply letting you know that this Braum's has very poor management skills if they can't keep up with daily housework chores. It looks like it has been dirty awhile so it can't be new management.

Braum's long wait, cold food

How can you serve someone cold food after they sit in the drive thru 20 to 25 minutes? That's something I shouldn't have to pay for, rude customer service. I probably won't take my money there again due to Everytime I go there, there is a mistake even with ice cream that they charge $4 and up for. I won't eat their cold products and get a disease from the chicken especially being pregnant uncalled for and unhealthy.

Braum's Service to slow, and unsanitary issues.

I am very unhappy about Braums in Mansfield TX! Service is to slow and not wearing any gloves at all in the front. Serving ice cream or even washing their hands instead of rinsing them, if the health inspector from Arlington see this they should get on them for this. I am not giving you any name who I am that put this complaint in. Out of my respect, whoever read this should go see for yourselves. Wearing no gloves is germ contanimation and unsanitary for sure. I know other restaurants do this and they should start following the health rules of any food industry or health inspectors rules, anyway that is all I have to say. Sincerely, Anonmynous

Braum's District Manager

The Braums cook who poured salt on my burger when I went through the drive thru is not the issue. It was busy and I can understamd the cook making sanwhiches as fast as possie to get customers through. My compaint is the district manager who was cooking up fries on this day. It was in the afternoon around 12:25pm and I l
took a bite and noticed how crunchy is was. At first I thought the burger was overcooked or the lettuce or any veggies were crispy. That was not the case as I ripped a small piece of the patty and all I could taste was salt amd that same crunchy texture. Was it sand? I thought to myself. Of course not..tue saltiness was crazy amount like someone took a salt shaker and opened the top and poured it on the patty. I called and they took my name and bring in the receipt and be happy to remake it. I came back and expained about the burger, the phone call to cashier. The cashier told shift manager who told me no one called. Shift manager told the district manager who happen to be there on this day and told me to bring back the product. I said I threw it away. She said she must have it. I leave and come back again with whats left of burger and fries and receipt. The district manager said she will not remake it cause a third of the burger is missing in a attitude that was agitated and angry. I guess she did not want to deal with customers during the busy place where she had to personally go and cook the fries. Neverthess, I was shocked at her attitude and unbelieveable terrible way she handled the customer service. I was left speechless. She is corporate person, not the store manager. She represents Braums at a higher coporate level of leadership. Im sorry the buger was too salty. I told her about the phone call and she shook her head no. She told the shift manager to give me a 1800 number to call and in a rude, unprofessional manner told me that I can call but she( herself as the district manager) makes the final descison.

Braum's Deadly sharp metal in Ice cream

My wife and I purchased a 3 pint tub of peanut butter cup yogurt at Braums. To make a long story short she choked on a gray 1/2 inch by 38th sharp on both ends metal object.Yes no exageration on both counts sharp and chocked like a 46 year old child!I was shocked too put it very lightly when we seen this object. The size and sharp piercing ends you could see this was a part of machinery broke off "Mine and other's opinion only"Now for you skeptics that our thinking suck it up and drive on!I attempted to take several picture's of this object and notify company as to be alert and possibly alert public.I am a amatuer with photography due to size and lighting on object. But you can get the jest.I received a reply back to give object to them.Is this the proper response.I made conversation at work and church for the peanut gallery's thoughts".The curse word layer came up every time, .I am stating facts here to this and asking if anyone else had this in their frozen yogurtI crunched some numbers as I know staff by name;.We spend no less then $1500:.00 a year at Braums/.I mean who is kidding who the 1% milk is better then any whole milk out on the market".This happened 4th July 2013 what gets me is my children, Grandchildren will only drink this milk"Cant even fool them"What if this was a child anyone's child choking on this?.As it was scary seeing a adult of excellent health choking as it shamed me with my reaction as I took light of it till I seen the situation was more then a piece of butter cup;.Has anyone had this as well? I have photos as well as the metal object. They just swept me under rug!

Morning of October 4, 2012 about 8:10a.m. Went to the drive in window and ordered the following: one small orange juice, one medium orange juice, one large coffee and 2 sausage and biscuits. The woman said something other than what I said and I repeated my order. She asked if I wanted the combo. I asked what that entailed and she said drink, tater tots and...

Braum's dangerous situation/bad treatment

I was at the Braums located at Sunnylane near SE 44th st in del city today to purchase an item, and when I went in the front door I fell. It took a while to get up, I was in pain and when I got up I felt humiliated. So the older lady working at the register comes around the corner and ask if I fell and stated did I use the rug, I said I came straight in from the door. I kept getting accused of not using the rug implying it was my fault I fell down, so this customer named Dobbs commented I wasn't using common sense by not using the rug. It seems to me I should not be put at fault as all I did was walk straight in from the door to the grocery area and fell by the register. The "rug" is actually a small runner they have the by the register. I don't feel any store should allow this to happen in the first place and if it does the customer should be cared for in a respectful manner. This did not occur here. I left upset, sore, and humiliated, and actually worried I may have broke a rib.. but I didn't see anyone show any care or respect towards me. The lady at the register mentioned I was the second person to fall today and there was a gentleman that came in while I was in there that slipped, but didn't fall.

I am sick of getting wet in drive thru when it rains. I had to use my umbrella while I ordered food and ice cream. something really should be done. I will not go to Braum's anymore while it's raining or snowing. I like to stay dry, who's with me?!?!?!?

bloody efficient answer impudent but I want to know which of these scenarios is most accurate... either; the rug was too small, the rug was in the wrong place or... the op walks real funny!

Braum's Very unsatisfied

I am an employee at Braum's. Just because I am an employee doesn't mean I should be treated differently than other customers, because once I clock out, and I order something, I AM a customer. And if that's how customers here are treated too, then i feel sorry for them. I ordered an Orange Sherbert Freeze with my meal. I finally got it after 10 minutes of waiting. It looked horrible and nothing near finished, it was so thin and chunky, and tasted nasty. So i took it up to the counter for a new one. not even a minute later, I had another one that didnt look different at all, just a little bit more ice cream in it. So i just asked for a coke instead of my freeze. Sheila began to argue with me that that's how a freeze looks like. I have been ordering freezes on days that I work for 2 months now. they have always looked soft, thick, no bubbles, nice looking freezes. the ones I ordered have always even looked like the one that is on the menu above the counter. Today, it looked nothing like it, and I just wanted the freeze I usually get. I finally got my other food after 25 minutes of waiting while I've been next in line and Sheila finally brought me the right freeze. I told her this is what a freeze looks like. she started arguing again that its not what a freeze is, its way too thick. Arguing with the customer. Something I have never done even when I knew they were 100% wrong. And I'm only a trainee. I ended our argument there, walking out of Braum's very mad and very unsatisfied.

I like Braums products - - - BUT I seldom go into the Store is Hutchinson KS - If I do I need to wear a heavy winter Parka to stay warm. Why do you keep the store so cold? Yesterday - I was freezing in your store when a young lady and young man - she went to the car and brought in a heavy coat for each. So it isn't just me. Something needs to be done - you are looseing business. Lots of it.

Braum's Mismanagement

I usually eat at Braums 2 to 3 times a week, but not no more...I was the second person in line, it took 30 minutes to place my order, because the woman taking orders was entertaining her freinds, instead of doing her job...This has been going on for months. They need to shut down the store on Lee Blvd in Lawton Oklahoma..The store is useless

Braum's Filthy clothes

I just returned from the braums I frequent at fayettevile road and pointer trail in van buren ar. the young man who served me was very dirty. His clothes were awful. brown stains and red stuff all over his white shirt and his hair was dirty. I approached the manager and told her I didnt think he should be serving food. she said who was I to judge this poor young man who had lost his parents recently and was on his own for the first time. I said I wasnt judging-only his cleanliness. She said he was doing the best he could. I replyed in that case maybe you should help him. She just kept on about me judgin him and not giving him a chance. I asked her name and she said it is jenna walton. The service that evening

was really really awful. one lady returned her sadwich four times. An elderly gentleman had to wait forever to get part of his order they had omitted. It was overall not a good place to be.

Braum's Bad customer service

I went through the drive through at the Braums in Sallisaw Oklahoma store #213 at 5:49 pm on July 15th 2010. I ordered a large chocolate shake, the bill with tax totaled $3.95. Looking through my wallet I had two $1 bills and $200 in twenties. I gave the girl a $20 bill. She gave me $6.05 in change. The manager said she would have to count the drawer before she gave me the other ten. I said fine and waited, she came back and said that the drawer was $10 short and she did not owe me anything. After I stated my case AGAIN she gave me my money in a very rude fashion, if this cashier shorted me at almost six-o-clock I would imagine she has been miscounting money all day. I was mistreated and felt like they were accusing me of trying to steal $10. Why would I sit there for almost twenty minutes to get a lousy $10. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with this Braums. On top of all this they seem to alway screw up your order at the drive through. I seriously doubt I will ever go there again, which really stinks becase I like there products.

Braum's Bad experience

I went through the drive thru in Garland, TX store #61 on 1/16/11 and ordered a number one. I gave the attendant exact change and she did not give me my recipt. It clearly states on the outside of the drive thu window that if Braums fails to give you a cash recipt then you are supposed to get a $5 dollar certificate. I drove off and realized that I did not have a recipt and went inside the store. I explained that i did not get a recipt. The cashier went and got the recipt; I asked him if I get a gift certificate. He then got the mamager and the manager said that they could not honor the gift certificate because Braums still had the recipt. I explained to him that I had already driven off and come back, and his reply was that what he learned in training was that if Braums still has the recipt in their possesion they will not honor that cirtificate. Im not sure if I will ever go back.

I work in fast food, at chick-fil-a, which serves breakfast until 10:30 am. At our store, we do allow people to order lunch early if they are willing to wait. I was so disappointed to walk into braums one morning and be denied lunch because it was too early. I asked if they would make lunch if people specifically asked for it, especially since they were...

Braum's improper handleing of fellow employees

I was on my way to work and decided to stop at Braums for a breakfast burrito, while there I went to restroom upon exiting the restroom I heard some yelling in the back, when looking to see the source of the commotion, I noticed a young man early to mid 20s yelling and screaming to another employee (female between late 30s early 40s) about salads calling her a liar and otherwise generally degrading her in front of other employees and customers.I am a business owner and to hear someone treating a co worker with that type of demeanor, i would suspend that employee, until attitude was corrected

Me and my husband went out to the Anadarko Braum'S for ice cream and my husband ordered 2 scoops of Maple Walnut ice cream and was told because they were running low on that flavor she would only be able to serve him 1 scoop. We both had looked at the choices they offered again and they clearly had about 1 third of a bucket left.I Don't understand these procedures. Is there some reason to withhold what a consumer is requesting. We usually spend a lot of money at the store and have since decided to rethink our buisness. If we can not recieve the things we would like to purchase in the portions we request then maybe we should shop elsewhere. We have supported our local community and buisnesses during the hard times and wish they felt that we were needed to keep their buisness going.

My wife and I were traveliag to Tulsa, Ok on Wed. 2/10/2010. We stopped in at the Braums store in Seminole for a quick breakfast. My wife needed to use the restroom so she went before we ordered. When she came out of the restroom her first comment was, we need to go somewhere else. The restroom was so filthy we could not imagine eating there. The floors, stools, wash basins and all were nasty. Poop in the stool. I realise some people will leave a restroom with poop in stool but this was not a once in a moment situation. You could just tell the poop had been there for a long while and the other items didn't get filthy in just a few visity. I can just imagine the employees returning to the kitchen after using the restroom. They couldn't have washed up and got clean if they wanted to. As far as I am concerned, the restrooms are a direct reflection on the cleanliness of the kitchens I would chalenge everyone to just visit the Braums restrooms before eating and you will know what I am talking about. Come on Braums! We customers are not your dairy cows who stand in poop and eat. NASTY PLACE!

Copied and pasted from legalmatch.com:

Is My Employer Required to Give Me a Rest Break?
There is no federal law requiring employers to give employees rest breaks during the work day. However, 7 states do require employers to give rest breaks:

■California - 10 minute break for every four hours worked provided that the work day is at least five hours long
■Colorado - 10 minutes for every four hours worked
■Kentucky - 10 minutes for every four hours worked
■Minnesota - "Reasonable" amount of time in a four-hour period "to use the restroom"
■Nevada - 10 minutes for every four hours worked
■Oregon - 10 minutes for every four hours worked
■Washington - 10 minutes for every four hours worked
To qualify as a "break, " the employee must be fully relieved of his duties.

Is My Employer Required to Give Me a Meal Break?
Similarly, there is no federal law requiring employers to give employees meal breaks during the work day. However, 17 states do have statutes requiring meal periods during the work day. For example:

■California - 30 minutes after 5 hours, if the workday is at least 6 hours
■Illinois - 20 minutes after 5 hours, if the employee will work at least 7½ hours
■New York - One hour
Are the Laws Different for Different Groups of Employees?
Many states do have different requirements if the employee is a minor. For example, Florida does not have any state law requiring rest or meal breaks. However, in Florida, employees under the age of 17 are entitled to a 30 minute break for every 4 hours of work. Some states have different requirements depending on the nature of the work, i.e. factory workers.

Is My Employer Required to Pay Me During My Rest or Meal Breaks?
Federal law does not require the employer to give you a rest or meal break. However, for employers that do provide break time, federal law mandates that any breaks of 5-20 minutes must be compensated by the employer. However, a break lasting 30 minutes or more is not considered "compensable time" and the employer is not obligated to pay you.
