item received and many parts missing
In July 2018 we purchased an Outbound 16 ft x 48" from Canadian Tire in Yorkton Saskatchewan. It was a clearance item in which just stated no pump. Not a problem as we already had a sand filter pump, it was just our pool was on it's last legs. We waited quite awhile for the pool to be brought to the customer service desk where we were waiting to make our purchase. When the pool arrived at the door the lady at the customer service desk asked for all my details: name, address, telephone number etc. She even stated that she took the return on the pool and that it was actually in there. The man just didn't know how to operate it. We thought, bonus! We have a spare pump. I paid cash with my birthday money and was very happy. Thought we were getting a pool which was on sale for $850 for $499. Due to the weight of the pool and the fact that our dying pool was still usable we thought we would leave it in our vehicle in which we take off road in the winter safe from mice etc. Bring it out next spring. Plan was going well until...it got really hot all of a sudden and our daughter wanted a few friends around for a pool party for graduation. We agreed rushed out to Canadian Tire bought a $300 salt water system and rushed home to get it set up. Low and behold not only was the pump missing but all the hoses, inlet and outlet pieces and the vacuum head. We were so upset especially considering it is nearly a 200km round trip. I contacted Canadian Tire immediately only to get call back tomorrow as Dale Broch isn't here but will be in tomorrow. Called back the next day to be told he actually closed the night before but not in today. To cut a long story short I spoke with Dale and Cathy. Cathy tried to find me in the system as I paid by cash to confirm the amount we paid. I know I can't find my receipt as I am the type of person that puts something important in a safe place and not even a month later can remember where I put it. However I gave the lady all my details and can't understand why I am not in the system. Also I gave Cathy the barcode info from the yellow tag and from pool which verifies the pool came from that store. All I wanted was the missing parts and still do. We are now at the end of June, pool up but can't fill it beyond the hose level and starting to turn green as we can't use our pump or salt water system. Every time I call now I get hung up on or Dale isn't there! I accept some responsibility for not having the receipt but they know we bought that pool there and they do have my info somewhere. They just don't care and I will NOT bear all the responsibility for a dishonest person taking all vital and expensive components out of the pool and as Cathy said their staff don't always check the return items. Sorry not my fault! I let down my daughter at Grad and now we are still looking out at a half filled pool!
alloy wheels (order #[protected])
I ordered a 4 pc of alloy wheels on 08/06/2019. Also received an e mail regarding my order number is confirmed and we will inform you when it's ready to pick up. I was waiting till 19/06/2019 then finally I decided to give a call on customer care on 20/06/2019. Then they told me that ur order is cancelled after two days of the transaction. I was not even informed by store or any one from Canadian tire. The customer care executive called in store and came back to me with a SORRY... they should call you it's their mistake. I didn't expected this kind of a service from a company like Canadian tire...What I will do with ur sorry guys... I was waiting for alloy rims so that I can put my summer tires .
Hopefully u can understand my pain..
pricing error
You say that customer experience matters to you, so I regret to tell you I had a terrible experience at the Wilson creek Canadian tire store. I was thrilled to see an 8' x 6' bamboo blind priced at 20 dollars. When I inquired about it the sales agent said the SKU number referred to a much smaller blind. I said the label clearly said that that size was only 20 dollars. I asked for the manager who said theSKU number referred to the smaller price and that I, as a customer should know about SKU numbers! What about he customer is always eight? I said it's normal retail practice to take responsibility for errors and you should honour the price advertised. He told me to take it up to you. Please advise u look forward to you timely response. I have a photo of said price to send. All in all I am very disappointed with my customer experience.
I shop at CT a lot and I deserve better than this. Frances foran

I am so i'm happy, I have been going in there for the past two days buying soil and grass seed the price has not been right every time that I have been in there the grass seed is in the proper price that is on display and the topsoil is not The price that is labelled in the store I brought it to the attention of the attendant and she was not the most willing person to help me .. the first time I waited close to 10 minutes and no one came so o sucked it up and paid the extra money so
I could go home and do what I had too., the second time the price still wasn't changed and it was the same person and she was wanting me to wait again.. so I just came out of the store for the third time and guess what.. the prices where all wrong again.. she was rude .. the day light is almost gone so once again I didn't have time to wait.. but after the third time of being in and all the prices where wrong I'm out almost 79.36 dollars.. and I had he worst customer service, . This is completely unexplainable.: can someone call me [protected]

customer service
On June 4, I visited the Wasaga Beach Ontario Canadian Tire store. I parked in the second parking spot in front of the store where one car and a shopping cart return station were between my F-150 and the store. I was in the store for about 15 minutes. When I came out, there was no car beside me and a shopping cart was bumped against the side of my truck...

On Jun15 2019 went to store #489 in Surrey, BC to but a tap and die set on sale. I had read the reviews on this item prior and knew that people had problems with the t handle tap wrench holding the taps crooked. Went to open a set up to see if it was crooked or not, not knowing that I was not allowed to do that since these were all in the open, not sealed and not locked up. Manager told me he couldn't let me do that unless I purchased the set. I explained the problem but he would not let me even open the box and he would not open it either. He was very hostile, confrontational and abrasive to say the least. He seemed to think that I was there to steal it by his hostile attitude. I purchased the item and opened it up in the store. T- handle wrench was crooked as I thought. He only opened 1 more set and it was also crooked. After that he would only give me a refund and would not open the other sets for this defect. These sets are not sealed or taped and yet he said if he opened them he could not sell them again. He told me he was an engineer and had 2 of these sets at home and didn't think a crooked t wrench was a big deal since he could use them at home. It is totally irrelevant what his opinion is of these since as a customer I would like to purchase an item that I believe is new and has no defects. I asked him if he would sell the sets that we had opened again and he said he would. So we have an abrasive manager who not only lies but knowingly will sell something that has an obviously manufacturing defect. I ended up going to another Canadian Tire store that was much more accomodating and understanding of my concerns. They helped me look for the same set but in better manufacturing condition. The manager in store 489 does not know customer service and treated me unfairly, especially when I explained what might be the problem with the mastercraft tap and die set (86 piece set). He would not believe me and I had to purchase the set, open it right there and prove to him what I was talking about. I am thoroughly disgusted by this person and didn't think I should be treated like a thief and so shabbily from a customer service perspective. No accommodation, begrudging help and an abrasive confrontational attitude is no way for a manager to be to a customer.
customer service
I ask customer service for storage box. Lady checked in the system and told me that it is in stock and she ask the guy to bring for me after waiting 30 min. She replied with sorry. If you do not have in stock why you wasted my time. I have to go back again in the que for another 10 min. The behaviour of the lady was so rude.
I learnt lesson not to buy any thing from you guys.

Hi I went to Canadian Tire yesterday at the Ajax location. I got my car battery replaced and in doing so I had mechanical issues after that never existed. I approached personnel to ask him what happened and Joe was extremely rude and how he handled situation. He kept berating me telling me it's not our fault it's not our fault and there's no way this can happen. I told him he's very rude and you don't work in customer service the way you're acting. Extremely unprofessional would not recommend this place.
bluebay patio table set
We purchased a patio table set from bowmanville Canadian tire .. it is completely unlevel (one leg is 2 inches shorter than the others .. it is disappointing. We need this rectified immediately however we are not sending the table back due to it already being put together (tiles, and legs) please send us another leg for this table. (The fat leg to the right)
paint department
I have no idea if Canadian Tire hires people just to teas customers for no reasons or what? I was in Hamilton, ON, the main street branch the girl was very rude no matter how nice you are she has one task only in her mind is to make you upset and leave the store. She was looking sad as if she was forced to come to work can't answer any question related to her department. OMG, I was so pissed off, and I had to leave the store without buying anything. NO MORE CANADIAN TIRE will find other stores.
manager abuse of power.
I was at grandview boundary canadian tire in vancouver.
I overheard a manger saying he will give 2 part time girls a raise BECAUSE THEY WERE PRETTY.
This is such a disugusting abuse of power and also INSULTING TO WOMEN.
A woman is capable to get a raise by WORKING HARD. AND NOT OBJECTIFIED TO STAND THERE AND LOOK PRETTY.
The other managers were standing around and chatting. THEY IGNORED THE COMMENT.
i asked 2 other associates about this
They said IT HAPPENS FREQUENTLY.
THIS. HAPPENS. FREQUENTLY.
NOT OK.
NOT OK.
They said they cant do anything about it because theyre scared they will lose their jobs.
Apparently, this manager is higher up in the rankings that he can DISREGARD OTHER COWORKERS.
As a manager, that is disgusting behaviour. A manager should make other employees SCARED OF LOSING THEIR JOB.
My two friends who used to work their a few years ago, said they actually thought this person was FIRED.
He made so many indecent comments about women and his fellow coworkers that they thought hr was fired.
He wasnt. he was promoted.
Disgusting work canadian tire.
I hope someone will set this branch straight.
I will never come here again.
canadian tire - calgary - mount royal location
I just stopped by to buy a Dyson stick vacuum. In the aisle I asked for help from an employee but they didn't know anything about the product. That employee brought me to customer service. There they called someone to help me in the aisle. Went back to the aisle. Someone came to help me who didn't know anything about the models for sale, and took me to look through the website. With $250 difference between one v7 and another v7 option, I asked what options differentiated them. The answer was "uh, I guess the more expensive one is, like, newer or something." They left me in the aisle to figure it out myself. I chose two options and went back to customer service to ask them to pull two from the warehouse so I could select one by looking at the options on the box. They called to bring one to the front. Stood for 15-20 minutes waiting. The same customer service person walked by and asked if they had brought the vacuums out yet. I said no. They called again to ask for the boxes to be brought to the front. At that point I interrupted and said we would leave. Did I mention my wife and I had a toddler with us this whole time?
Love the downtown location. Wish the service wasn't beginning to force me to just order online, when I would prefer to use a convenient hardware store in the city center.
home delivery service
Canadian Tire does not deliver to home.
It does not have services for people with mobility problems.
wheelchair-bound and cannot get delivery.
Called customer service and they advised that there is no delivery service for patio equipment or my specific need for patio storage bin or deck boxes.
this deck box was a 127 gal. unit that I would not be able to carry on my wheelchair.
unsuitable rotors and pads which causes wheel vibrates when applying pressure on brake
Store : 75 Mapleview Dr W, Barrie, ON L4N 9H7
I got very bad experience. I paid them $1000 for front rotors and pads in June 2017. But within 2 years I had to change 3 times which all in warranty (they offered free parts for first 2 times, but I paid the labor which cost lots of money which are totally unnecessary). They kept giving me the unsuitable products which caused wheel vibrated when applying pressure on brake. For the third time, same thing happened, they refused to reply me. Even though the lady manager promised me on 5th June that she will discuss with general manager, and then she will give me a call to settle down the problem. She disappeared and never call me back.

car repair service
To Canadian Tire,
On Monday May 27 2019, I brought my vehicle in to replace the brake lights. I went to the Canadian Tire Associates Store 0425 at Richard Line Merchandising, at 1875 Hyde Park Road in London Ontario. Once they were fixed, I began to drive home when I noticed that smoke was coming out of the front of the car. Prior to this, there were absolutely no issues with my vehicle, and I consistently make sure of this since both my wife and daughter drive this car as well. I brought the car back in notifying them of this issue, and waited several hours in the lobby until this was fixed, and paid over $1000 for your service. When they were done, I had to pick up my son from school, but I knew there were still some issues with the car. The next day when I tried using the car, the brake pedal would not push down, the car would not go faster than 40km/h no matter how hard I pushed down on the accelerator, and the car had even more smoke coming out of the front. I was incredibly frustrated, especially when I called into your offices and the person on the phone couldn't even find the invoice number for the second service where I paid over $1000 for, until I insisted several times that they must find it. This alone speaks volumes to your employee's insufficient management skills. That day you sent in tow services to take our car in, but on Wednesday you said that you were not able to fix the issues with the car due to the mistakes your services clearly made. What made matters worse was that asked me whether I poured substances into my engine for the vehicle to stop working which is incredibly offensive. We still do not know when we will be getting our vehicle back. I have wasted a week trying to figure out what happened with our vehicle when all we wanted was to have the brake lights replaced so that I, my wife and daughter can drive safely. But you returned to me a vehicle with greater safety issues than before. Canadian Tire, we are incredibly displeased with your service, and will surely be warning all of our friends and family of this horrible service we have encountered. You have lost a loyal customer, and we will be encouraging all of our family and friends not to go to you in order to avoid this dangerous and unprofessional service.

ammunition
Drove to canadian tire in barrhaven. I went to the sports section and asked for my 2 boxes of 22 ammo that were suppose to be there for me because I reserved them. The girl said she could not find them? Was not informed that there were 2 boxes of 22 ammo reserved for anybody? The clerk and another employee looked all over, could not find the ammo boxes. I...

UNACCEPTABLE customer service!
This is RIDICULOUS!
First, my partner went into the male bathroom and he stepped on HUMAN FECES that were in the middle of floor! He had to spend 10 minutes in the washroom scrubbing and cleaning the bottom of his shoe with toilet paper!
After calling the manager on duty, which took multiple calls to even show up to the front desk, we explained the situation and she thank us for bringing that to her attention, but we weren't looking for a thank you, we were looking for a SINCERE APOLOGY ! She preceded to explain that the bathrooms don't get checked very often and it was the "parts dpt" responsible for checking on it. She mentioned that they had 2 new employees in the Parts Dpt. To which we responded that we understand having new people but regardless of that, they need to be checked as it is a BASIC Offering in a retail store, not really complicated! If your bathrooms are not going to be cleaned, DO NOT OFFER them to the public. We reluctantly spend 200dlls due to being in a time crunch even though I desperately wanted to leave my cart and walk out!
My boyfriend went back in to clarify the name of the manager who we had spoke before; after clarifying we proceeded to leave through the self check out. we made it through the theft sensor and we were stopped to have our receipt checked even though they did not go off. We always loved shopping in your stores but after this incident I'm seriously reconsidering ever stepping foot into a Canadian Tire again.

Sorry for my previous comment, I make no sense and it's my fault I'm a big idiot
triangle mastercard
Re: card #[protected] and [protected]
On May 17 Terry opened his MC statement and discovered that he had missed the Apr. payment - upon investigation he could not find where the Apr. statement had been received by us. He immediately e-transferred $10, 372.45 which was the balance owing on the account. That amount was taken from our bank immediately. On May 20 he discovered that we had 0 credit balance. I called and spoke to a representative about this problem. I was told it would take 2 - 3 business days to show on our account and it would probably be 22 or 23 May before it shows up on our account and at that time we will have credit available to us again. I pointed out that we have quite a good history with Canadian Tire Mastercard for many years and could he override this 0 credit available for us. He said it would not be possible to do, even though we are still below our maximum $18, 000.00 limit.
We are quite annoyed with this - admittedly we did slip up by missing a payment, relying too heavily I suppose on the paper statement being delivered to jog our memories to pay. But we are a business - renting cottages and right now we will be relying on our card for purchasing items to get ready for the season.
We are most disturbed to be treated this severely for one slip up after the years of excellent customer relations we have given you.
It is our hope that you can in some way rectify this so we can use our card by tomorrow May 21 so we may continue good working relationship with your company.

security at canadian tire
Hello
I would like to bring into attention to the GM of Canadian Tire. The security at the Canadian tire store in Edmonton South region who manages it is a total flop and a crooked one. I have seen it and worked it, the manager never seems to be on time, and never trains the employees. One day he quits and after 2 weeks he comes back. HOnestly just look at the record of how many shoplifters they have apprehended in the last 3 months, i won't be surprised if they have caught a single one. The south common store is a huge one but the guys who work and do manage don't care a penny. They watch movies and manager just come and walk around for few minutes and leave. INfact the manager harasses that if you don't work on the off day, he will fire you. i would say the company CASI security is a scam and they are ripping CAnadian Tire big time.
