Insurance - full coverage but still had to pay 350 euro to thrifty
My booking was in Rhodos 16-23.10.2021 with N0: CFF8DF2C and confirmation: GR400422395
I had for this renting a full insurance but still had to pay 350 Euro for some small damage on one wheel. The provider Thirfty said that I will get back the 350 Euro from CarFlexi but nothing has been re - embursed yet.
I have all supporting documents and need to know where I can send the scanned pdf file. Let me know how I can get the 350 Euro back - small money but too much hassle for getting back this.

Car rental
Complete rip off! When I picked up the car in Malaga, I was informed I needed to pay a deposit and it would be reimbursed. Coming home I found out that more money was deducted from my creditcard and after contact I found out that I had paid for additional insurance, without any information! Also I paid additional tank service, while I delivered the car back with a full gas tank and the desk actually signed off for it. Now Carflexi is not doing anything with my complaint and claim that they are only a middle man and an agency and instead of providing proof ask me to give reverse proof. Never again with this scam!

No claim request handling - refund Excess Payment

The car got returned to the Maltese provider CityGo on Tuesday Nov. 9th. The car got damaged. CityGo charged the excess of € 1600.- plus a € 75.- handling fee.
On Monday Nov. 8th and on Nov. 10th. I sent already 2 x requests through the WebPortal. The returned car was insured against "Theft & Damage Excess Protection".
On Nov. 10th I called on the Greece CarFlexi number and the agent guaranteed me, that my request will be processed. So far nothing happened.
What's the process? Why is nobody contacting me? I paid the extra insurance to be covered in case of a damage.
Desired outcome: Get the charged excess refunded

Booked a rental car for 6-20 November 2020 in Cancun. Assigned pick up from Cancun City Office. Arriving to the rental car station today, I got a feedback that:
1. They didn't have full information about my booking
2. The car would supposedly be at the airport, not at the city where it was agreed
3. There was no car available for us as they didn't have my details because of some system error
4. They didn't know anything about the prepayment I already did
5. I didn't get any solution from Carflexi (the phone number at the webpage was not connecting) nor from Adocar (company, where the rental car was supposed to come), so I needed to get a totally new car rent as I had my plans already made to leave Cancun. Which means I paid double for car rent.
Need to have 239.72 eur refunded for the unused service.
Desired outcome: Prepaid 239.72 eur to be transferred back to my bank account as I didn't get to use your service and needed to find other solution.

I am requesting a refund of the 111.66 Euros charged to my account for an unsolicited service. I booked a car rental at Barcelona airport with Sixt and I did not ask for any additional service that would justify the payment of this money.
Attached you will find copies of the car reservation with Sixt as well as the invoice. Sixt Barcelona did not understand where the complaint we made
to them about an "advance booking payment" of 111, 66 Euros came from and the attached documents have no proof of its existence or any reason
why they billed us for the above mentioned supplement. Furthermore, the document downloaded from your platform mentions "full insurance", which in fact did not exist as confirmed by Sixt. Based on this false information, we had to pay an extra 356.3 for the insurance.
For all these reasons I would like to ask you to refund the 111, 66 Euro unduly charged to us.

I rented a car via CarFlex. The rent included out-of-hours charge and it was written on the voucher. However at the rental desk I was told that the charge was not included and charged 40 euros. I wrote to the rental company and was told that CarFlex did not pay them for this charge.
I have sent 3 emails to CarFlex about it, got no reply. I expect a refund of 40 euros

Car rental
I booked a car through carflexi, and they facilitated the booking then through Europcar. I had to pay a deposit of R519.63 on carflexi's website before they could confirm the booking, but then it was never deducted from the total amount due to Europcar. When i tried to contact them via their website, the link is inactive and the confirmation email i got from them when i booked is a no-reply email address.
Same thing has just happened to me. I paid a £296.12 deposit to Car Flexi with the balance £1336.3 payable at the Europcar desk at Heathrow.
Europcar never received the deposit but asked for a further deposit of £250. I had booked a VW Polo but Europcar told me I would be better with a Vauxhall Crossfield which cost a further £1600.
Car Flexi is a taking money and not forwarding it to the car hire company.
I want the £296.12 deposit back but I expect to have to do a credit card section 75 claim to recover it.
Overcharged for Car rental
You quoted us for R3 722. My father that is 84 years old, were scammed into paying double that for the car he rented. I have proof of the quote. See attachment. He thought he booked at Europcar, but was directed to your service. I think it is really sad and terrible that you did not even respond to my previous email. Booked a car from 19-26 July in Dublin, Ireland. Did not use my own credit card and when confirmation was received noted that this would be a problem as card had to be in the name of main driver. Immediately cancelled reservation with the intention of re-booking using my own card. Car hire company were very accommodating, no problem at all. But CAR FLEXI have charged me over 100 euros and are refusing to reimburse saying their system didn't register the cancellation and that I accepted terms and conditions when making the booking which includes obligation for credit card in main drivers name. Appalling customer service.

The CarFlexi voucher nr.: CF5BD62F was shown to Sixt upon arrival at Nice Airport. However Sixt could not deliver the car confirmed by CarFlexi.
In stead we had to rent another car.
The prepayment to Car Flexi was not deducted in the Facture from Sixt.
The prepayment to CarFlexi has not yet been refunded.
It looks like CarFlexi is acting on behalf of Sixt witout mandate since the confirmed car rental was not recognized.
I am requesting a refund from CarFlexi of DKK 868, 10.

I rented a FORD FIESTA car in Greece, Chania for 7 days :16.09.2021 ->23.09.2021 from CarFlexi site with 176.9 euros. In the picture and also at the description it was written FORD FIESTA or similar.
When I was arrived in Greece with my wife and 6 month child to take the car they give me a Toyota Yaris whose trunk and also the car is smaller and I didn't have enough space for luggage's.
I told them (SUNNY RENT A CAR) to give me FORD FIESTA car because I had also a baby child seat and a lot of luggage but they refused.
I stayed there more that an hour in sun with the child to convince them that I don't have enough space and in this time I was trying to stuff the luggage's in the car. In the end I put also on the passenger sit but the visibility in the right mirror was reduced and the possibility of an accident was very high.
Also if we are looking on CarFlexi site (please see picture in attachments) we can see that in FORD it's fitting 5 people 1 large suitcase and 2 small ones and in YARIS 5 people 1 large suitcase and 1 small. (So is a difference between the two cars that's why I rented the FORD).
Also another problem was that when I rented the FORD car, YARIS was with 50 euro cheaper on the site than FORD, so I have lost 50 euros, the driving was dangerous because of the low visibility, time and also healthy because I started the vacation with stress.
Also another problem was that they cannot accept my payment with VISA card because they had the card terminal broken and I had to walk until I found an ATM and withdraw money.
But if we are looking on the CARFlexi voucher there are three rules at section Payable at rental desk and the third is A valid credit card (in the name of the driver)*.
This situation is not normal, please take measures against CarFlexi and Sunny rent a car because I supposed I'm wasn't the only one in this situation.
Took my deposit and never provided me with a car
Request:I booked this with you in June and paid a deposit of approx £106 deposit which left my bank account at the same time. Imagine my surprise to arrive in Saint Lucia on the evening of 17th September to discover you had not arranged any car for me whatsoever. I had to book and pay from scratch directly at the drive o matic desk at herronewa Airport. Please can you refund my deposit of approx £106 immediately? The drive o matic employee confirmed you did not make any booking for me and it is only by good fortune there were spare cars available so I could rent from scratch and pay all over again. Otherwise I would have probably spent the night sleeping on the floor at the airport. Please confirm back to me when you have repaid the deposit you took from me. My flight was late about 2 hours and when i arrived at the car rental desk they didn't want to take the voucher paid online at carflexi.com (voucher no CF8B504F) because we wanted to pay with debit card. I called at your company's customer service when it happened and nobody answered, then I send an email, also nobody replayed at that time, today I called again and talked to Asya G. who was very rude to me and she hung up on me, then she replayed by mail with something that wasn't the answer for my question. At the end I was forced to rent a car from another company.

Service and payment to Locautorent Italy
Dear Sirs
On June 26th I rented a car from Locautrorent Italy. When returning the car, there was no mention of damages. All of a sudden, I get an invoice for damages. I have written them several emails and only received one response from them. In the emails I have requested details of the damages and pictures but to no avail. The person who sent out the emails is Caterina.
Their only response was you took out premium insurance thru CarFlexi so basically deal with them. This is no way to treat a customer. Their service is no good at all. I would like a refund, and attached you can see the invoice for the rented car and the invoice for the damages. One thing for sure, they will never get my business again if this is the way they serve clients.

Very rude and obstructive agent who would not explain why there were additional charges although we read "the price you see is the price you pay"
We queeried this point at which she became abusive rude and totally unreasonable..
As we and our friends and clients were extremely embarassed we had tried to ignore this behaviour.
We tried to just leave it at that but she continued berating our questioning of the contract.. She told us to go elsewhere if we didnt like it..
After getting the car we had problems with warning lights coming on and off we think it was something to do with brake assist and skid protect.. The lady we reported to (same rude person).. Dismissed us. And commented "ha ha"..
This was very childish and unproffessional, and very upsetting a very poor start to our holiday.
In addition we were advised by our clients to book with flexicar they had assisted us with this booking and the very rude lady we and our client had to deal with.. It was very embarassing for us and them..

The car was damaged and I paid 500 Euros to the car rental company Stella car (carflexi partner)
I paid the insurance fee to carflexi so this 500 Euros should be refunded. Sent all documents and evidence to them but [protected]@carflexi.com has been silent for 2 weeks. No reaction from customer service and no refund. Looks like insurance fraud.

I could not safely hire the car and I had to hire one from Avis instead at huge cost.
I want a refund of the deposit of NZD $136.41 repaid immediately as well as the difference I had to pay for the Avis car which was nzd $1978.58
A total of $2114.99.
