Carrefour washing machine

I have been a loyal customer of carrefour since first store in Abu Dhabi. It has been extremely disappointing customer support I have been receiving for past 2.5+ months. I regret being the promoter and supporter of Carrefour for over 15 years.

I went to buy a washing machine, I had experienced LG before so it was my preferred choice, but the merchandiser convinces me to go for siemens instead which was slightly expensive but according to him way much better in every aspect than LG. As per him LG is more famous but technically siemens is far better in every aspect.

The day it was delivered by their siemens partner Better Life, I noticed a heavy noise when it runs, I reported immediately to the store and the same merchandiser that it is not what you explained, he said no way, siemens machines cant have noise it is the best of class. He booked the complain on my behalf and said a technician will visit from supplier (better life) to inspect the unit and it must be faulty, model is perfect. My opinion was it is not the unit but the design/technology is.

After several follow-ups with BetterLife technician visited and said unit is ok but its design has this noise and LG uses Direct Drive technology which has no sound, so the merchandiser/sales has mislead you with wrong information. He advised that he will explain his senior and once report is sent you can return this and go for Direct Drive technology.

However, after days of follow-up with Carrefour Customer Support, I was told that the unit is not faulty as per report so it cant be returned or exchanged, then I spoke to the Better Life again, they agreed and promised to revise the report but they didn't.

Carrefour Customer Support said and understood that the issue is not with Better Life but against themselves or merchandiser so they escalated the complaint and said they will investigate the merchandiser, I told them that personally I do not want to go against any individual just resolve my issue. I called them dozens of time, they always say it is escalated we are waiting for store response, once received it will be done (means return or exchange). I spoke to the merchandiser and he asked me to wait for few days he will try to solve the issue, then he told me that carrefour has put on me (merchandiser) to pay 50% and rest 50% will be refunded by BetterLife, he asked me few more days to sort this out. But surprisingly when I approached Custome Support after a few days they said complaint is closed and probelm with merchandiser is solved internally. I was shocked, as my problem remains same, no solution is provided then what has been solved internally! The said we cant do anything.

Customer Support advised me to visit store, I went there to meet the sales manager, with difficulties finally I met him, he said (which I didn't know that the status of my complaint is that if I want to return I will get only 50% and remaining 50% is on me not on merchandiser) I am not sure but it seems it was internal arrangement between Better Life and merchandiser to take that 50% out of him and put on me. Manager himself was surprised and told me that dont worry I will solve the issue you wont have to bare any loss, and I will try my best. He then again contact Better Life and they scheduled another technician visit and this technician said he was LG technician before and he knows that siemens technology has heavy noise issue but since Siemens do not have Direct Drive technology he cant write that machine is noisy in his report because for siemens it is a normal, comparing LG it is a major problem.

There are other technical issues I faced with. Siemens washer, sometimes some clothes come out dripping wet and once after successful wash, when door was opened themachine has water inside which flooded the whole area, but I cant reproduce them in front of technician.

Then again I went to meet Manager and struggeled to find his duty schedules as I visit store bit he is not on duty, then I was keep trying to meet him, it was very difficult as there was no contact provided by stores or the Manager. After 4/5 visits for over 3 weeks, he gave me his contact, another few days gone by then I found after several messages that he is gone on leave, I asked when he will be back several times but no answer was given, he advised to contact Better Life manager directly, he said the same thing that unit is not faulty and cannot be returned. The conclusion from Better Life is this problem is with carrefour as they mislead me so they should give you the solution.

My Expereince:
The Customer Support didn't call back despite promised over phones all the times.

Closed the case without any solution or update and protected their own mistake.

There was no sense of care for the customer at all.

Some staff at store were extremely non-supportive.

Despite agreeing by the staff that it is carrefour fault for over 2.5 months nothing is solved, rather I am suffering as I have visited over 10 times the stores and over 2 dozens of calls and message, yet the attitude is "We Don't Care".

I am the customer of Carrefour not Better Life, but Carrefour is keep pushing me to deal with them, when it is not their fault even.

It is not about money but customer relation, trust and commitment which I have lost all with Carrefour by now.

I have been patient by far, havent shared my experience on social media yet, but now I will take the route of Consumer Rights (Department of Economic Development) as it is not just one customer or one store it brings a bad name to the region also which should be addressed.

Carrefour philips essential care compact hairdryer 1800w

I purchased this specifically for the cool setting. I asked in the store before purchase if it was cold, and I was assured that it was. When I tried the dryer at home, the cool setting was warm. At the bottom of my receipt, it says 2 week exchange. Purchase date was may 25 and I tried to return it on june 4. Customer service told me the two week exchange was only for large items. It does not specify large items on the receipt, and the hairdryer does not work as advertised. I am very disappointed that I am not able to return this product, with the false advertising and the poor customer service at this store.

Carrefour incorrect billing

I live in the UK and have travelled to France today for wine shopping. We normally stock up about twice a year and purchase a large quantity of wine. On the return ferry I commented to my partner that the cost was very high this time and When examining my receipt/bill I noticed a mistake and that I have been charged for 33 boxes of one particular wine instead of the 3 that I wanted to trial, making an overpayment of just over 200 euros on my credit card. I am now back in England and unable to return to Cite Europe. I do hope you can help rectify this mistake and I am sure your stock control can identify that you have a surplus of 30 boxes of the wine (3L Ardeche). I look forward to hearing from you.

Carrefour 4 euro et 60 euro promotion ticket

Since first highlighting I have had no success with your store. M. Rouquet, manager replied not knowing how it really worked. Since then I have tried to open an account with carrefour and it stops me by saying "it wants a mobile number" which I enter but it refuses my number! After many tries at your game of "I AM NOT A ROBOT" I have had enough!

1. Spent more than 30 euros...no 4 euro ticket!
2. Spent over 60 euros with reduction ticket of 10 euros, needed to enter on line code...tried but could find no place to enter it into on your site!
3. Not able to open account becaus it refuses my mobile number!

With my English friend, we visited Carrefour, Marseillan yesterday. I have lived near Agde for fifteen years and visit your store often.
At the cash-out I presented my carte bleu visa with a four euro refund ticket and 'qualoified' for another four euro ticket. My friend was before me, spending the same amount as me (around forty euros) and was NOT offered a four euro refund ticket! I asked the server "Why not" she shrugged her shoulders ce la vie style... I spoke to the security officer who was very helpful. He spoke to your representative and quickly arranged a four euro refund for my colleagues and the situation was over. It left both of us very confused and, quite honestly, very upset!
Also, I had a ticket for a ten euro refund if my spend was over sixty euros. The ticket noted that I need to qualify, on line, with a code for this to be valid. I, with the help of the same security officer, followed the instructions on the ticket but could not find a page to enter the code! I did enter the code in the top box without success.
So, perhaps you could explain what the rules/parameters are for this promotion?
Is it luck/chance that I get a ticket? My friends' view is that my credit card is French and he used his English card? Is that the difference? I wait to hear from you, Good day.Monsieur/Madame,

Carrefour myclub points for mobile purchase

Last saturday night I bought a new huawei nova4 black colour phone havilng 1000 free club points. And I gave club card while bill payment. But in the bill they mention the colour blue. Then waiting for long time they changed the bill.. Now yestrday I checked there were no club entered. They are now angry against me and telling I should give club card while second billing. They only changed the bill because its your staffs mistake. This is the way you are cheating your customers.. Its for the clubpoints I bought from carrefour.. Last year also I bought one phone from carrefour..
I want 1000 my club points.. I will send club card and bill photo.. Why I should incur lose because of your staffs irresponsibility.. They made me to wait more than one hour that night because they wrongly printed the bill and now I lost 1000 points also.. Is that fair?
Your store staff and customer service staff are sending here and there for your mistakes
How irresponsible you are because for the phone I paid they gave me bill for another colour and another barcode..
I need the points anyways

Carrefour refund for order not delivered

This is my 7th request for refund of an order invoiced but not delivered.

I have contacted customer service via email several times using theseemail addresses: ooshop@carrefour.comand livrechezvous@carrefour.com and carrefour_drive@mailgb.custhelp.com and I emailed your President and board of Directors. Your customer service is shameful. Please refund my payment immediately. How can you people keep customers when you ignore them and steal from them?

You owe me money (109, 33 €) and nobody will answer my e-mails or my Facebook messages. Why is that?

The order n ° [protected] has never been delivered. Please refund.

I asked for a refund several days ago but nobody contacted me. I made the same request yesterday via Facebook Messenger. Nobody answered. Please issue my refund immediately Thank you.

Ceci est ma 7ème demande de remboursement d'une commande facturée mais non livrée. Cette commande a été annulée pour non-livraison mais n'a pas été remboursée.

Vous me devez de l'argent (109, 33 €) et personne ne répondra à mes courriels ni à mes messages Facebook. Pourquoi donc?

Carrefour wrong washing machine received!

Good day, this has reference to my online order number [protected]. I ordered a whirepool washing machine on April 17th. The serial number of the washing machine I ordered is FSCR10432. And following are my complaints regarding this order:
a) The delivery was only completed on April 30th although we were promised to receive this within a maximum of a weeks' time.
b) The washing machine was delivered in a package without a box that didn't display the serial number
c) On May 2nd we scheduled the installation by the supplier MTI. Upon unwrapping the box MTI figured out that the model number received is wrong when comparing it to the invoice issued by carrefour. It was a discontinued old model holding serial number AWIC 10915.
d) I contacted carrefour's contact number to report this issue on May 2nd complaint number [protected] and ever since received a very poor response to this major mistake that caused a great inconvenience.
e) Finally, a very poor solution was offered by your representatives Ahmed from online department today May 7th suggesting first for the wrong washing machine to be collected on May 8th and only after two days the correct one to be delivered (but who knows now after the initial mistake), which I obviously declined requesting the collection of the wrong product to be at the same time of the delivery of the one I ordered.
f) Ahmed displayed to be completely unprofessional to understand the issue caused from your end and didn't assist further trying to educate me about your policies to sort out the mistake of yours.
I now require an immediate response from management with a proper solution not to add compensation for all the inconvenience caused to me along with an explanation on why this mistake occurred.

Carrefour delayed delivery of washing machine

Recently We purchased a washing machine and we were promised that delivery will happen next day, but its (Second day) is almost over and we havent received any call from the delivery team.I have called Carrefour to follow up and i have been given this follow up number(1163836), i hope to receive delivery today! Because its so dissapointing waiting for 2 days with a pile up of clothes waiting to be washed especially when you have been promised that it was to take 1 day!

Carrefour signal 2 toothpaste

I have purchased on Thursday May 2 single unit of signal2 I took it from the counter (price is AED 6). After I came home I noticed that I have been charged for 3+1 offer of signal 2 which is triple the price! I called the helpline 5 times with no luck for any help. They keep promising me that ill be receiving a call from carrefour regarding my issue and I never received any call back. I am a regular customer always using my club card I can provide u with my history with carrefour for long long time. Am disappointed that no one care about my concern although its not my mistake. Plz take immediate action. The toll free number customer service proved to me they have no credibility!

Carrefour my club point usage

Carrefour in the UAE promotes the usage and conversation of points to DHS value and hence we my husband and I shopped their regularly. In the last week, we have shopped for over 10, 000 DHS in order to obtain and use the value points as we we're relocating. We have a total of approx. 600+ DHS worth of point and two times now at two different branches we have not been able yo use it due to a technical glitch! The first time was at airport road on the and the manage Hassan, said he lodged a complaint /jeera and would call me back in 2-3 days once it's resolved! Which he never did! Despite us telling him, we would be leaving the country in a weeks time. 6 days later, the same this happened to us at marina mall! The manager Navar at this branch was rude and completely unresponsive in his concerns/efforts to resolve our issue. Simply blamed it on the system and said they don't know when it will be resolved and that I would need to call tomorrow to make the complaint! This is the worst customer care I have experienced in the UAE! I am standing at the customer care counter 8.5 months pregnant with my worries done of 2.5 years old next to me and he didn't even have the decency to ask me to sit down or try to help me. He even walked away from me when I asked him if their system was smarter than the human being operating it, and why couldn't they do a manual issuance if they've been having this issue for more than two weeks!. Tomorrow I plan to take this to the consumer authoristies in the UAE if I do not have a call back from them in the morning!

Carrefour cash counter

We are living in dubai . Today we went to Carrefour at dubai festival city . The lady at the 18th cash counter behaved in a very rude manner to us . So we approached the customer service and they didnt take any action for this problem . I would suggest to replace or give them a training as to how to interact with customers in a polite manner, otherwise it would lead to a mismanagement .

Carrefour my club points redeem

I have my club account in Jordan, Irbid City and purchase Circa 400 Jod monthly, I collected 275 points and once I need to redeem I surprised that my balance is 17 points only.

I submitted complain to customer service but without result, so that I am writing to you If you can help and recover my balances

Carrefour animals

** URGENT!**

Bonjour,
Normalement à Carrefour, vous ne vendez pas d'animaux. Et surtout pas des tortues et des amphibiens dans un état épouvantable. Putain, je n'étais pas préparé de savoir que personne s'occupait d'eux! Pour votre info, personne va allez au deuxième étage et acheter un lézard dans un ver en plastique pour 9¥ ici. Ils y avaient même des animaux en train de se décomposé. C'était horrible, SVP les rendre en liberté et arrêtez d'en acheter. C'EST DÉGOÛTANT. Savez vous que vous pouvez avoir une amende en France? C'est illégal de garder des animaux négligés. Carrefour, votre réputation va bientôt être ruinée.

We ave called the customer services number many times and got no answer, when we eventually got through they pi

You have now taken the money from our account of 70.83 euros for non delivery of the items
We have gone to the local store to which we were told the "on line" business is separate
According to Royal Legislative Decree1/2007 of16 November you are now in breech of said regulation
We have written and requested a refund of said amount due to non delivery of goods
I will accept refund into my original payment account within 5 working days or I will hand over to my legal council to pursue

Carrefour delivery of refrigerator

I purchased bosch refrigerator from Carrefour and they promised me delivery would be on Sunday and make sure stay at home. I was at home waiting delivery from morning till evening, I did not get any call nor feedback till evening and I decided to give a call customer service about delivery time. Carrefour customer service created RN 1147936 to follow up the case and they told me to they will contact delivery team and will call me back, I didn't get any call.

I gave a call to customer service today morning and they told me they will call me back, delivery team called me and they said item would be delivered around noon time which is not came to true. I gave another call afternoon around 3PM, customer service told me hold on till they speak with delivery team, they disconnect the phone on my face. I gave another call around 4:30 and they promised delivery would be at 7PM.. I don't see any action, no escalation system, keep giving/promising time which never happen. I cannot talk to manager, keep talking same level recourse and no improvement. I have same experience 3 years ago, things are moving same level, may be worse.

Carrefour online delivery

I made online order [protected] carefour egypt on Apr 10 and until this moment I didn't receive anything
It's been 11 days so far

This is not the first time I ordered before and took them weeks to come

If carefour is not able to provide adequate service to customers through online delivery they should stop promoting and encouraging people to order

Carrefour mouldy food

I visited a Carrefour shop in Barcelona, Spain to buy ingredients for dinner. I purchased some BBQ seasoned ribs to be reheated in the oven. The container was sealed, and the ribs were in a sealed plastic package. The expiry date was highlighted to be used by 7th of May.
However, as you can see from these photos, the outside of the sealed bag was covered with mould in several places, when we opened the bag a really bad odour came from the ribs and there was a weird bad looking white substance at the bottom.
If I didn't promptly notice the condition of your product I could have been seriously phisically harmed with whatever bacteria was allowed to infest the product.
I expect apologies for the horrible experience and at least a reimbursement as the product was over €4, so not even that cheap.
And please make sure this won't happen again.

Carrefour repair of electrical equipment

I took a Bosch vacuum cleaner for repair under warranty. When I went to collect it I was offered a different cheaper model badly scratched. Fortunately I had a photograph of my cleaner and the bill that I paid (219, 99 euros). The cleaner I was offered was an inferior model costing 145 euros. Obviously I refused to accept it. The manager was very rude and send "take it or leave it!) This disgusting behavior and |I was amazed that such a big company could behave in such a manner.
