I have taken out a Cellc Contract [sensation 10.1"]... on the box as well as on the internet as well as being advised by Sales Agent Josephine Moodley the phone has 8GB of memory but when i received the phone i see that there is only 4GB of memory... from Thursday 05.10.2017 i have raised this concern with about 10 agents but no one has even called me back uptil Today... CELL C PREFERS THEIR CUSTOMERS TO CALL IN, WASTE THEIR TIME AND EFFORT BUT WILL NEVER CALL BACK
Please contact me today - i have this query with you guys from last wednesday - how long does it take you to get back to a customer - the ladies at customer services are pathetically rude and arrogant - especially a lady by the name of princess .

poor service - cust care and legal dept
My husband went through a job retrenchment I have tried on numerous times to call to make arrangements. I was told that someone will call me back within three to four days. I advised I am unable to take calls during wrking hours frm.[protected]. Call centre apparently took note of this. Got a call from the legal dep. I tried calling had to wait fr over 15 min still no answer. Get a call today frm a collection agency apparently my account is handed over. So I tried calling legal dep again still no answer spent quite alot on airtime as I do nt have acces to a landline. I called cust care again was told that theres no other way to assist they will escalate . How can cell c legal dept have no other way of contacting n secondly I was the one who called n emailed to make arrangements so how am I handed over if they havent responded. Sad to say bt cell c isnt for its customers shud hv just went with mtn or vodacom. Never again will I recommend cell c to anyone. I demand an explanation frm cell c management calls are recorded they must go bk and see how many times I have called with no help from.cust serv.

fraudulent content services subscription
Currently I have a dispute lodge against Cell C and Waspa as Cell C is unable to resolve or even listen and take responsibility.I have been illegal subscribe to a content services and I'm not liable to pay for something I didn't sign up for and also being billed for Getmore services which I didn't use and also cancelled in due time. I have paid all three my contracts I have with cell c and one contract sim that been missing since the beginning, I didn't even use that sim data and minutes but I have been paying for it almost 24months. All three my contracts is on barring which is illegal as it is three separate contracts but one payment.There's no account in arrears has the services being charged for is that of the content services as CELL C claims. I have spoken with cellc customer care to resolve this the one issues of barring all three contracts but they simply barred all three today.I will not pay for services being block into future payments because I didn't use them the same for fraudulent subscription as Cell c has a verification process before one subscribe to such services but they totally deny it, it seems they ignorant of their terms and conditions or just passing the buck.

disgusting service from cell c
Cell C contacted me in June 2017 and wanted to know if I want to upgrade my Wifi Giga 20 contract after 24 months, I didnt want to upgrade so I told them i want to cancel, so i thought it was cancelled and I continued to pay only my current top up contract as usual. The 7th of September Cell C suspended my phone that I pay for every month. when I phoned them they told me that it was suspended due to outstanding balance on my account, long story short, the wifi giga 20 that was never upgraded to start with was never cancelled, and they invoiced me for that every month.
I have been in contact with Cell C almost twice a week since the 7th of September to sort this out. No one, absolutely no one was able to assist me, I had to explain my situation to almost every Cell C department several times with no luck. Whenever I requested to speak to management or someone that can actually help me, Im told that they are all in meetings.
So now another month has passed and its still not cancelled, when I spoke to someone yesterday the 4th of Oct They told me again that they can not cancel until I pay the outstanding amount so I asked them if I can make a payment arrangement just so that I can life a normal life AGAIN, AND STILL THEY CANT CANCEL, I have to pay up, so the amount will accumilate every month until who knows when.
This is unacceptable, I have been trying to get this sorted out with some kind of solution since beginning of September and no one was able to help me, now Im being invoiced for October as well?
When I spoke to Tshepo this morning from Retentions he advised me that he cant make any decision he will have to transfer me BACK to cancellations and I will have to ask for their supervisor Gift, when a lady from the department answered the call she transferred me to the next person and finally the call dropped after being on the line with Cell C for an hour.
For the last month I have just been transferred back and forth, from the one consultant to the next ( to think these people actually receives a salary for doing this).
Between myself and my household, we have 5 contracts with Cell C, we actually moved over to Cell C from VDC, and this how we are treated.
Im so disgusted with Cell C, I want to sort this out and cancel all contract me and my family has with them.
Thanks Cell c for making my life miserable.

Pathetic services
You people make me sick! my auto page account moved over to glocell for what ever reason, the account was settled in the month of march. I have spoke to over 6 people who said they will get back to me, i have sent the paid up letter on numerous occasions and no one got back. Now the account has been handed over when i contact the attorney they are unable to give me any details about the account all i must do is make a payment! on what? its like nobody knows how to do their blady jobs there. Literally none one can help me oh and from 1 account now i apparently have 3 accounts? wtffff? who do i get in contact with to sort this matter out?

Iam having the same problem...got moved from autopage and sent to glocell.have sent payment proof numerous times.sales.guy says he did it three times, yet when I called the call.centre they have recieved no proof!really is frustrating...iv cancelled...so lucky I was able to do that!customer care is horrendous!cannot believe this company still exists.
New contract after month did not receive a phone
A Glocell sales consultant has phoned me to upgrade my contract and preferred a phone Samsung S8. She did nit mention that there is a stock shortage. After a month I still do not have a phone and no one contacted me to inform me of the problem. The new contract is loaded and I start paying for the phone but has not received anything yet. This is very very bad service from Glo Cell and i am truly dissapointed with the way this situation is handled.

Good day! My name is Teresia Dzhugudzha. In 2016 Mau I lodged a complain that a fraud account was opened under my name. My queries was send to fraud section; the line on question I was told they were suspended while they were investigating .to my suprise no further communication was forwarded to me when they decided to update my credit under transunion. As it is ther is a credit of R43 356 under transunion which is not up to date as u dint open any account with you. I tried making followup with you; however it seems as they are clear responds as to why the credit is updated under my name while the fraud section has not finalised on this matter. I am not happy with your services as my question are not answered. As it is now I am loosing a a propert to purchase as the home loan can not be approved with such credit. On the 19 June 2017, I contacted Cell C customer care to inform them of my intention to discontinue with my contract which was due at the end of June 2017, the consultant informed that I have to serve a one month notice or to pay R286, 00 before the end of June 2017 for immediate termination and to send proof of payment to'[protected]@cellc.co.za' and attention to a lady by the name of Bridget Sondlo, who apparently is responsible to assist clients to make immediate termination of contract. the payment was done on the 29 June 2017 and proof of payment was profited as requested but i later realised that the arrangement done for me was not for immediate termination but a one month notice after an amount of R115.99 was later deducted from my bank account by Cell C, after realising that all the efforts i took to ensure that the contract is terminated by end of June 2017 as agreed but the Cell C did not fulfill the promise they made to me, i therefore demand Cell C to refund the money deducted from my bank account after June 2017.

repair of my cell phone
I have a Sony M3 Experia and the screen whent blank. I whent to the Waterfront Cell C store and requested thhat they have a look but that i have all my baby photos on their and that they please need to inform me if they are going to do a fresh system install. After numerous follow ups and contacting the store and the repairs department they came back and said you need to have a system update costs 600 rand. I told them i need to know if the photos can be retrieved and if this would affect that. Dropped my phone off on the 10th of August at water front got it back 3rd of October and they wiped and reinstalled the software.
I am speachless in the level of incompitance and ignoring a direct request from a customer. DO not wipe the phone.
I will be consolting a legal councel on this matter but i would just like to warn other customers that might have this happen tto them.

About a month ago, I noticed that my signal was getting worse by the day.
I contacted Cell C on numerous occasions to report the problem. at first no one could assist. Then I was told that I should switch to roaming on the Vodacom network.
Firstly, I pay my contract every month, yet I don't get what I am paying for. Secondly, who is going to pay the extra roaming costs?
Because of this "network" problem, I have to use my MTN mobile router to use wifi, which is costing me extra every month on top of what I pay for my contract.
I feel that I am paying for a service which I am not getting. I cannot receive / make calls neither can I receive or send any messages. My phone is basically useless. I am considering going to the Ombudsman to lay a complaint, because up to now, I have not received any feedback or assistance at all.

Account issues
I called Glocell in October 2016 to upgrade my contract and was told that I qualify for R270. I then received a bill of R1132.60 in November 2016 which was shocking as I have a limit set to 0. I also requested Glocell to stop my debit orders as I was being charged R150 for it to be returned by Standard Bank.
My contract ends in 31 January 2018 and I have been having endless issues surrounding billing. The number has been suspended since the 19th July 2017 and I am still being billed. I would want that the total account be consolidated and a final amount be given as I did not receive service from the 19th July 2017 and should be charged pro-rata and a settlement. I have since got another number.

False salesperson
I recently upgraded my Cellc contract ([protected]) with Glocell after they called me with a Pinnacle 100 deal. I was informed that my total cost including VAT will be R129 / month which I agreed to. (This conversation can be confirmed if their calls are recorded for quality purposes). I never agreed to itemised billing, or caller line indentification bringing my total account to R161.50. I informed the agent that as long as i am not paying over R130 then she can go ahead and upgrade. I have been mislead and now stuck with a big amount to pay. If Glocell looks at my history with Autopage, they will see that i never exceeded R120. If I was made aware of this huge amount i would have taken a cheaper contract like the Pinnacle 50. I want Glocell to please look into this matter and please sort out. I they cannot sort this out, then i will close this account and reopen direct with Cellc. The other reason for my complaint here is that tried phoning Glocell to resolve my issue but they just don not answer the phone!

unauthorized deactivating of my sim card
On the 30 August 2017, my Cell C sim card was deactivated without my consent, and unauthorized sim swop was done on my sim card. Cell c did phone me with a recording of the sim swop. The voice on the recording was one of a black lady, clearly not mine. It cost me time and money to swop my sim back, now a month later the same thing, this time I actually catch it when they deactivate my sim again. I went to the shop and told them to unable people to deactivate or to do a sim swop on my account and they say they could not do that. It forced me to actually change my cell number. Again it cost me time and money, the first time it was R150 to swop my sim back and this time it was R250 to change my number. I am actually consider to change my service provider as well as this is not on

Hi I am banking with standard bank I went to ATM to buy cell c prepaid airtime on Monday 25/09/2017 for the amount of R400.00 Rand today is Wednesday 27/09/2017 and still haven't received my purchase the bank said that they did log fault with cell c and cell c is busy fixing it I need to know when I will receive my prepaid money or a refund its a very big inconvenience to me as customer because the money has already been debited but yet two days later I am still waiting for the voucher.

On August 26th 2017 I went to the Cello Branch in Zevenwacht Mall to confirm if I was still illegible for an upgrade after I received a call from Cello but at the time declined the offer. I was advised that I was yes I do qualify for the deal 20gb daytime data and 20gb nightime data for R299 per month on the router, but the way the store consultant explained the upgrade process to me, which didn't make any sense, I decided not to take the upgrade at the store than and rather pay the contract the remaining 2 months and take my business elsewhere. On the 30th of August 2017 I was contacted by one of CellC's outsource company's agents her name is Kim. I received this call round about 9o'clock the morning and her explanation of the upgrade process made more sense. I explained to her of the encounter I had in the branch and her exact words was “The consultant spoke utter nonsense”. She advised that I have R160 remaining on the current contract and if I agreed to upgrade the contract on that day for the 20gb daytime and 20gb nightime data for R299 per month I would get the data on the 1st of September and that the router will be dropped the following day on 31st September 2017 and we'll be able to use the router immediately as we will get a pro-rated amount of data for that 1 day, but will receive the full data package on the 1st of September. She explained that she will split the R160 balance in 2 for me to pay
R379 for the month of September and R379 for the month of October and as of November the 25th I will pay R299 per month for this contract. This is because I wanted the upgrade to take effect immediately.
The router was dropped the next day and we started using the router from the 1st wee in October as we were on holiday and only activated the router then. But we did not receive the full 20gb we were promised but only 10gb. I called into CellC since than on numerous occasions to query this and I have been transferred from 1 agent to another, calls has been dropped in my ear, I have been shouted at by agents and been spoke down on by others. I have not been assisted and by the 3rd week of calling in almost every 2nd day I requested that the contract be cancelled and I be placed on my old contract again to pay the remainder of the 2 months and when the contract expires I will NOT upgrade with CellC.
CellC is refusing to fetch their router from me and cancel the contract and top of this they want to bill me for this month's usage of the data that was half the amount they promised. They telling me that's because I used the 10gb. I advised them that the only reason I used it was because I was promised that they were going to add the other 10gb I was supposed to get on the 1st of September. If I knew they were not going to do like they promised I would not have used that data.
I am so disappointed in the poor customer service CellC delivers to their client. You would not say that we as the clients are their bread and butter.
Not to mention the amount of time I had to take out of my working day to speak to CellC and the airtime I had to load on my MTN sim card to phone them because I took out that contract for someone else who is using that number as their primary number and I do not have access to that number during the day and the time I do have access to that number the department I am supposed to be assisted by is closed already and nobody bothers to phone me back to assist me with my query.
I am being promised call backs almost every time and no-one bothers to call me back. The agent that is refusing to collect the router is Vusi and his team leader is Bongani who was told to phone me on mt MTN number as someone else uses the Cell C number, yet he didn't even bother to phone me back.

Good day I upgraded my cell c contract and send several email to c surance and eventually my phone were in sured payment went of last month end of august. Today to my suprise when I phoned Cell c cusyoer care to ask what is my debit order amount as new contract started 31 august. They tell me that my phone insurance is not added to bill. They put me trough to c surance after holding for 30 minutes the phone died I phoned again the c surance number just to here from patricia mashu they investigating why my insurance is cancelled I received documentation that my phone is insured. please listen to recordings 28.8.2017, 1.9.2017and 30.8.2017 from [protected]. Later this afternoon I received an email again from patricia to say they need my ime number of my phone. I need to know is my phone in sured as I travel a lot and need my phone to be insured. Am so pissed off with cell C actually frustrated am not too sure what else to do now, to cut the long story short Cell C contract was paid off and closed in April, the most frustrating part is that cell c still debits from my bank acc every month . Always have to reverse the payment and stop / block them but boom they can still debit how amazing is that cell c big thiefs and I've had it with these people ( cell c )

Hi, I recently purchased a Cell C router on the 5G promotion and after the first month i realized something was a foot. I was incorrectly debited from my account every month and no proof to the usage of the said data. Despite numerous calls and emails, the response from Cell C has been non explanatory to all messages highlighting my concerns and dissatisfaction. Cell C now wants me to pay them a settlement fee to cancel this contract, i am stuck now and not sure what the next step is. This has been a wake up call as I will never again do business with this fraudulent company.

Bad service
Hi i actualy have 2 problems i over paid my account in december 2016 with a extra month so january i paid a extra R500 that does not show on any statements and i was still billed as normal My second problem i have is that i canceled my contract [protected] on the 24 march 2017 with termination papers sent in ref [protected] (Even though i asked them on the 27 february and they only replied way later after several days) they only prosesed my termination papers the 14 April and then they want me to make last payment end of july for that contract i think that was realy their fault for me also paying extra. I stoped paying them coz they never sort out the payments so now they handed me over to nimblegroup deptors and now the deptors dont want to hear my side of my story

I AM HIGHLY FRUSTRATED WITH CELL C.
After paying off my account early and cancelling the contract as instructed from cell c representatives, I get my account debited 4 months later, without a single call or notification from cell c.
when I call in to find out what is going on I get pushed from department to department and from agent to agent, after being hung up on 5 times, after that I ask to speak directly to a manager and get another agent on the line pretending to be a supervisor.
I also get told that cell C owes me money because I over paid and no follow up was done however R500.00 COMES OUT OF MY ACCOUNT? I get told that my account has been handed over, however after i paid the account cell c even released the number for me to port to another network, now my account is closed with them and yet im debit with cell c and get my account debited, and when I call to inquire a lady in the Pre Legal division MBALI ZITHA decided to talk to me how ever she felt she could. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC STAFF AND NETWORK! ARROGANCE AND STUPIDITY! I will continue to esscalade this matter until someone from cell c takes me seriously!
