Driver driving dangerously
10/27/2020 around 9:13 am my daughter and I were at the light of Damascus Rd, waiting to turn West onto W. 5th Ave. Our light turned green and I started to move and had to stop to avoid hitting one of your bucket truck drivers who ran the red light, heading West on W. 5th St. I then completed my turn and ended up behind this CenturyLink driver. I got into the left lane and attempted to take a picture of the plate number (truck # blocked by cones) however I had to quickly abort as the driver was about to hit my front end as he decided to change lanes without looking or using his turn signal. I tried to snap a picture prior to turning onto St Rt 33 to head home, however the plate is very difficult to make out, and the driver continued on W 5th Ave/which turns into Northwest Pkwy just under the 33 bridge.
I dont feel that I need any personal resolution however I feel it is important for CenturyLink to speak with this driver to ensure he drives safer and does not hurt people!

I have worked with Agent Benjamin before. IN fact, I believe I have filed a complaint on this Agent with a Century link Representative. I dont ever want to work with that agent again. If I get him on a call, I will hang up until I get a different agent.
I worked with him today, Saturday, October 17th, 2020. I called Century Link At Ease Department. I do this by the link on my desktop. I click on, this bring up an Agent to remotely control your PC with any problems one might have with their PC.. The problem today was sound. I had no sound. He did some maneurving on pc and fixed the monitors speakers only.
He was informed that there were outside speakers as well. He rushed an said is there anything else? I said yes this sounds horrible. I never listen to like that. He said you r speakers are fine, I said no they are not. He said unplug them and hung up the call. disconnected me from the chat.
That was so rude, Something needs to happen to this Agnet. I dont like the way he treated me. This is not the first time/ Please follow up with this with his supevisor. They are in another country, but this must reach his boss.

Last month my wife called 411 twice in the morning. The first time she was given the wrong number. I tried calling to get a charge of $5.99 removed from our bill twice but hung up after 30 minutes on hold each time. When I have gone online with my ipad... Live chat doesn't provide a submit icon I can click onto to submit my request to have the first erroneous 411 charge removed. I wrote this down on my last bill as I deducted $5.99 from it. What I wrote down was ignored. My new bill reflects a forward balance of $5.99. I formally request to have this mistaken charge removed from my bill. [protected]
Late fees
I sent payment 14 days prior to due date and it was not applied to my account til after that date. Now there are now late fees on the account. I can not believe it should take more than two weeks to reach accounting and be applied to my account. I tried to pay online but there are fees to do so. I have spent 4hr on hold, speaking to numerous representatives and also a supervisor. Supervisor wanted reference number which is not given to me. Representatives wanted me to go to centurylink store which do not exsist. The next months bill was sent on the same date and was applied. Can you please resolve this issue for me. In feb of 2018 we upgraded my centurylink internet to faster speed and a new modem. The new auto billing was to my debit card, which was different from the previous auto billing which was direct from my checking account (both from first tech federal credit union). I didn't notice that they had continued to bill my checking account and bill my debit card each month. I have now talked with more than ten people at centurylink and only one seemed to understand and she tried to cancel the charge from my checking account — that got me an email saying they were canceling my internet; got that reversed as I don't want to lose internet — just the double billing. Twice they have hung up on me. They keep repeating that they are only billing me once each month despite my bank showing two payments each month: one from the debit card and one direct from my checking account
Sorry excuse for an internet provider
We have had service through CenturyLink since the late 1990's and never thought we would change providers, but they have truly lost my support:
1) 2.5 hours trying to work with tech support and never getting more than 1 MB throughput
2) Getting hung up on after 2.5 hours because at 6 PM they closed and dropped my call
3) After business hours our upload speeds go back to 10 MB
4) Start work on Monday and I am back down to 1 MB
5) Finally talk to a manager after a 40 minute wait and am being told that 10 MB doesn't support online video calls despite the fact that I have been doing online video calls for 4 years without an issue until the last two weeks
6) My husband gets told that we need to shell out $296 for new modem and service call to get the 100 MB
7) Soonest he could get anyone out here is Tuesday, but if we were a new customer they could be out on Monday
8) Never once have I felt validated or valued by this company

We have recently moved and had to settle for Century Link. It is horrible. I can't even watch a movie or an on demand show without it buffering all the time. We have security cameras that will not work with our internet because it is so slow!
Checked into other options but the cost was out of this world like $6, 000 to have cable run 1/3 of a mile!
If we could we would drop this service and get something faster and more reliable!

i had centurylink internet service, i cancelled my service, i could not print out return label so i asked them where to ship the modem back, they gave me the wrong address, i told them i was moving out of state and told man at post office, i insured the package for 100.00 the cost centurylink will charge me for the modem if its not returned. im not able to get my package redirected even though i still have receipt when i mailed it. i have an email from centurylink where to send the package, the exact address i mailed it to which is wrong address. this is lousy service, i will not ever use centurylink again. i should not have to pay for the modem since they gave me the wrong address.

I paid a $300.00 bill for something I never used. I kept calling your company about the problem and they did not send someone out to see what was wrong. But you all showed more concern about me paying the bill then the sevice you gave me. I went to another company. And he told me why I wasn't getting service. The job your sevice person did not do. They did it for free. I feel you all owe me some money back.

Long story will do best to summarize. Issue = never get even close to adversied speeds and their reply is they dont guarantee any speed.
*this is not the first time I have had century link and had same issues which were never resolved. * last time paid for 2 bonded 40g lines. To start with the bill was so screwed up and century link refused to delete the account and rebuild it so it billied correctly. Instead, i, the cutomer had to contact aguy in colorado (I cant give name cause I cant access my emails and not sure this will even get uploaded) so for 12 months this guy randomly posted debits to my account to bring the amount owed down to the agreed amount. * fast foward few months download speed were close to non existent. Called and called and techs came out no resolution. Never able to get anyone from managment to either speak to me on phone or to come with the tech to get issue resolved. Centurylink was clueless and tried to blame it on wires in myhouse and wanted me to pay to resolve it. I advised its not the wires in my house because when the last tech came to my home we ran a brand new wire direct from the centurylink box on side of my house to my modem and still could resolve why down load speeds were so low, less than 1 gig down... I have many calls recorded. After paying for service that was never received I called centuylink to cancel internet. I advised I am disputing the bill and as such I am notdisputing my telephone portion so I wanted to pay phone and will not be paying for internet and cancel the internet. I was told I had to pay to entire bill. I advise not 100% sure but since I dispute the bill for services not received I can not those disputed charges. Fast forward after being denied a manager to talk to, I finally hung up and never paid a dime more as centurylink cancelled immediately both phone and internet. Its rare to get a centurylink in the usa, most reps I get are out of the country and lack basic english communication skills. * fast forward 2018. I tried centurylink again (dsl lines aren't shared with neighbors bandwith) everything was going ok then all of a sudden zero upload speeds. Call and spoke to various non english speaking reps, always told me that the modem shows all numbers are good and that the speed tests are accurate. Then why was I askewd to go to centurylink>com? Support. Refused my request for a manager. I hung up as my blood was about to boil. I have had last two weeks 3 techs out to my house. Still not resolved! We are luckly during this virus lockdown that we are allowed to work from home. Our employer is done with the excuses we give about not being able to work due to cant upload files. Luckily was able to move into sons house and work from his home. I have the last two long phone calls recorded. Centurlylink manger gilbert, no sure that's is is real name could care lees about my issues as my modem is showing all is as it should be. I advised I am willing to do whatever it takes to just get this resolved and for gilbert to reach out to management in phoenix. He told me flat out, he does not have the ability to do so. I work for a very large company that has offices all over the world. I know for a fact I any one in management believes the is an issue that may cause a liability to the company or that our customer has a valid concern that has not been addressed, managers very easily can reach out an escalate the matter but not centurlylink according to gilbert my apologies for the poor spelling and or grammar, I am just fed up and so tired of typing in chats and talking on the phone I just need to know anyone else out there had enough! Its become the norm that we, the paying consumer get shafted and we cant get any justification or resolution. Why! This is usa. I have rights and every other citizen has rights, centurylink has taken my money and not lived up to its contract. What does it take to get someone to hold them accountable. CenturyLink is the absolute worst! I have their so-called small business service. About 7 days ago my business phone line stopped working properly. I depend on it to service my customers. I called in, actually managed to reach a human being (very rare with them), and got a repair scheduled for the next day. I changed my whole schedule so that I would be here to provide access to the field technician and to make sure that the repair got done.
The technician never showed up. I called in the following day and managed to get a repair scheduled for 2 days later. I was told that there was nothing sooner.
Once again, I re-arranged my schedule to be here. Again, no technician showed up.
Now, I have been on hold for over an hour trying to get to a human being who could help me.
CenturyLink is the worst company I have ever tried to do business with.
I would LOVE to take aggressive legal action against them. Is there a way?
Waiting for my refund
On 1/14, we cancelled services with Century link due to the sale of our home.
On 1/29 Century link charged my credit card for a full month of service. I called when I received my statement as they were charging me a disconnect fee. I argued their website stated there is no disconnect fee so I was given credit for that.
On 2/19, I called Century link about my credit to my card and was told a request would be submitted.
On 3/20, I called Century link again and was told by Terrance that the check was released and I should have it in 7 to 10 days.
On 3/31, I called Century link to find out why I haven't received a check yet. I was told by Robin that I should receive a refund within 60 days of the service being disconnected. I told her it's been 75 days since we disconnected service. Then she told me the delay is due to my changing the address from where my billing was going to a new address to send the refund. I informed her the address has NEVER been changed in the past three years. She told me there wasn't anything she could do and it would be another 30 days before I would receive a refund.
I realize with the coronavirus things might take a little longer but honestly, they owe me $43.25. It isn't much but I've worked for a Telecommunications company for over 20 years. All they're doing is stalling for time, hoping I might forget. They'll gleefully take my money but drag their feet giving back what is mine.
services disconnected dec 3rd 2019 - paid account in full till dec 2019
I disconnected the services on dec 2nd — got services from comcast from dec 10th 2019 - now centurylink want me to pay for $90.00 - they are going to collections but I paid till dec 3rd 2019 - all bills - then I have no services with them - now centurylink is going to collections - but I have no service with them? They are asking $90.00?
Threatening/Cyberbullying Behavior
On March 10, 2020 after being screamed at by one of their associates who had proceeded to threaten me unless I had followed his instructions in committing at least two different felonies (I had refused to help him activate two credit cards that didn't have any money on them), this is when the threats got to be even worse than before. The person had also committed a federal offense by claiming to be with the FBI when in reality his phone number was attached to global crossing marketing management . This is also when the person had started threatening me with legal action unless I had followed his instructions in regards to the two credit cards that I have since destroyed by threatening me saying that I would be spending the rest of my life in jail living in total isolation just because I didn't want to commit several felonies not to mention threatening my livilihood by threatening to garnish my wages until I paid off the two credit cards when in reality he owes me $8, 158 from a bank debt that he had caused (the bank debt is $6, 938 plus the cost of $850 worth of gift cards the he had forced me to purchase plus the cost of $370 that he had stolen from me). The person had also threatened to involve the two kids who I happen to take care of, which is completely unacceptable behavior. After I had blocked him from contacting me through Text messages, the person's behavior has started to affect my job as a nanny because I don't feel safe anymore not to mention afffecting the way that I live because I don't know what he is going to threaten me with next time

I disconnected my service due to moving and was told it was my last and final bill. I then received a bill for $13.29 which was a $12.00 disconnect fee and $1.29 in taxes and fees on top of that.
This is unscrupulous to charge a "final fee" for doing...nothing!
I contact customer service asking for a waiver and they refused stating this is charged to everyone.
Well this is why many people refuse to deal with such companies and be charged silly fees that just alienate the already shrinking customer base.

On December 5th I called to cancel my internet service as it's too slow. I called in November to see if I could get faster service but only 5mbps more and I only have 5 then. The lady on the phone wouldn't listen to be and kept over talking me and wouldn't let me cancel eve though I said I wanted to cancel 10 times. I should have a right to change service...

For the second time in approx. 2 months I could not access my email account. I was told both times that my email address could not be found. Even though I was receiving emails up until the afternoon before my emails stopped and I received some kind of error code. When I talked to centurylink my email didn't exist and had lost all of my emails, some of which were very important. Centurylink had no answers and didn't care at all.
I will not go through this again. If my email stops working again, I will certainly disconnect my services. I have been a centurylink customer for a very long time and I have never been treated with such disrespect by any company as I have with you. Stop treating your loyal customers like they don't matter.
5g wifi
We had slower wifi. I called CenturyLink and the person I spoke with said I could upgrade to 5 G and get much faster wifi. Since we upgraded we've had nothing but problems. Wifi just stops working for no reason and it is not any faster than our old wifi. If I could I'd go back to what we had before. This "upgrade" is the absolute worst. Don't upgrade to 5G
