4 Tender Dinner and service
Visited the CE on N I35 Lancaster, Tx. on Sunday, 3/13/2022 @ 12:23 pm.
Ordered 2 of the 4 Tender Dinners @ $9.79 each. After having to repeat my order 4 times, yes 4, which is not unusual it was my turn to pay at the drive up window. I was told to move forward and they would bring my meal. After waiting 13 mins. a young girl went to my car and asked what I ordered. I told her and she said, “ oh, they forgot to drop the tenders”. Asked me to move to one of the parking slots that said “To Go”. After about 10 mins. a man came outside and also asked me what I ordered. I showed him my receipt and he just walked away. He was carrying a small bag with a small order and I noticed he had taken it to the car behind where I had been parked but apparently it did not belong to them either. After waiting for another 12 mins. I went inside and asked about my order which no one knew what happened to it. Waited 6 mins there at the counter and finally received my order. Not ONCE did ANY of the employees express regret of any kind or say “Thank You”. After paying for my order it took almost an hour to get my food. I took a picture of one of the orders at home because the green bean juice had spilled in the box and made the tenders very soggy as well as the roll. VERY VERY poor customer service today to one of their best weekly customers. How will you correct this?
Desired outcome: This service is unexceptional and I should be given at least a FREE MEAL!AND an apology for poor customer service and my time which is also valuable just like theirs!
Biscuits and rude service
I tried to send this to the manager but the email came back as undeliverable. Conroe, Loop 336 in Texas location.
To the Manager,
I visited in the drive through today. Ordered a 4 piece chicken strip meal with french fries and a side of mashed potatoes with a large sweet tea.
When I received my order I checked it before pulling away and asked if the side in there was indeed the mashed potatoes or just gravy. The employee said yes that's gravy and mashed potatoes in there. So against my better judgment I pulled forward to get out of line because others were waiting and went around to the parking spots. I check and it is indeed just gravy.
So I walked to the front door not wanting to get back in line and it's locked. So I get back in line behind 2 more cars. The same employee sees me and she knows that she's missing the mashed potatoes so she goes and gets the side and meets me at the window. I then show her that the biscuit is extremely hard and dry to which she replies, that's how our biscuits are, once you take them out of the oven they get hard and dry. I said I've never received a biscuit this hard and dry at this chicken express. They are always soft and have a lot of butter on the bottom.
She turns around and yells at another employee, Do we have any biscuits in the oven? She goes, puts a raw biscuit in a Box, and hands it to me. At this point I'm just ready to eat my food so I drive off, that's when I look in the Box and notice that it's raw. Obviously I'm not going to eat it.
I have attached pictures of both biscuits in this email. I hesitate to complain to establishments, as being in the food industry myself, I know that it's difficult to find willing employees. But the attitude of this employee was just unacceptable and this all could have been fixed in the 1st drive-through experience.

Food quality
The service is wonderful at this location in Hope, Arkansas. Food is normally greasy. I love the flavor of the spicy chicken but usually have a stomach ache after eating it. Yes I know it’s fried food but I don’t have this happen anywhere else. This complaint is about the burnt rolls they served that should have been thrown in the trash! If we weren’t home with the food already for my daughter, I would have went up to the counter and told them how ridiculous it was they served burnt food. I was very disappointed and also this was for my daughter who didn’t eat it!
Entire facility
Chicken Express located in Conroe Texas on Loop 336 at Longmire road employs the rudest people on the planet. 3rd time is a charm for me, never going back. It would serve this company well to retrain or train your people on customer service. The latest thing is them not wanting to actually cook the fish. They have to tell you that they cook as ordered and it’s going to be awhile. When generally it’s ready in about 5 minutes! And when getting mashed potato’s it must be with gravy or without, can’t possibly be in the side, they Can’t do that. They actually act like they are doing the customer a favor and are very bothered by your presence! Time to go elsewhere for fish on Fridays! Must be bad owners, management or all the above!
Wrong order. Missing food
I went to the Chicken Express in Portland Texas. I ordered a family size mashed potatoes and gravy. They forgot the gravy. This is the third time they have left out food in my order. So I drove up there to get the rest of my order. They gave me a 1/4 cup of gravy for a family size order. I asked for another cup of gravy. They said they would have to charge me for it. I told them that this is the third time it’s happened and still no budge on customer service. I took pics of the order if you are really interested in customer service. If I ran my business this way—I would be out of business. Give some power to your employees to make things right.
Desired outcome: Train your employees that the customer is not out to get something for nothing. And give them the power to make decisions about complaints. In favor of the customer.
Prices
You should be ashamed about raising your prices during these times, you have lost us as a customer forever, 44.00 for a 12 piece meal with a gallon of tea. And with these prices, your going to lose alot more and they will never come back. KFC, here we come...
unauthorized credit card charges
On 06Feb, I went to the chicken express located at 513 N Industrial Blvd, Bedford, TX 76021 and placed my order for $50.40 and was told it'll take 15mns. Finally 30mnr or so later someone came out and said, sorry, the guy that was supposed to cook my chicken, did not cook it. so, i'll take another 12mns. At this time I was so mad. Waited for another 30mns a woman came outside and asked for our receipt and apologized for the delayed and left with it, and said, they will give us a 1 free gallon of sweet tea and 2 corns to make up for it. Finally another additional 15 more mins and guy came with my food. And said, sorry for the long wait and the guy is in trouble. So, when we got home, I checked my online banking my card was charged again for the ice tea and 2 corns they said it will be free for 10.80. So my total charged was 60.12. I'm beyond mad at this point. If I go back there, god knows what happen. I need my ref for the extra charges and I shouldn't have to pay for my food at this point for all the trouble that I have to go thru for over and hr for a 20 pieces of chicken.
Service needs to be trained on how to handle customers who are waiting and be trained.
This comment is for Chicken Express store at 5165 Lake Ridge Pkwy in Grand Prairie, TX. We arrived there at 3:26PM and asked if they had any specials on family meals. We were offered the 10 piece dark which we went with. When getting to the drive thru window after taking our payment the associate says it's a 12 minute wait time which was ok. We pulled over and waited over 20 minutes before approaching the store associate for an update. They tell us that it will be a while as they just dropped chicken. So we decide to ask for a refund 30 minutes after waiting in the car. Christian T kept on apologizing, and offered our meal to be free next time however we were upset on how the situation was handled. #1 if you offer a family meal, let the customer know up front that there will be a wait with an estimated time that is accurate. #2 do not charge a customer ask if they would like to wait first. #3 if the order is not ready at the time they said someone should inform the customer there will be additional wait time or offer them different items instead. The order could've easily be filled with different pieces if only the associates would've communicated better. Please train your managers to learn different practices to keep their customers. We went to Mansfield after we left this location. We did not wait on our order and the order was over $3 less than at the Lakeridge location. Plus staff is very good in communicating.

Restroom
Restroom in Terrell Texas has mold and is very completely unpleasant. The faucet handles are corroded. There is something gross on the wall. This restroom has not been taken care of which begs the question how does the kitchen look?
Order/no one answering phone
I visited Chicken express in Rockwall, on Sunday January 9th. O rdered 3peice Chicken tender and the Liver meal. Once I ordered pulled up to the window, it was a young crew they weren't wearing any gloves or hair net!
After I paid my order was quickly ready, the young guy African American cashier, claimed the cook already dropped the livers Once I ordered them.
Once I got home, the food was cold and NOT FRESH at all. The tenders were for my toddler and even she noticed it and didn't eat it. The liver are always HOT and fresh when I order them but this time around they weren't. Even the sides and gravy were OLD and not ateble! I WAS HIGHLY DISSAPOINTED. I tried calling MULTIPLE TIMES but no one never answers the phone. I've been trying to call since SUNDAY. I would like to speak with the manager of the store about this experience . I have pictures of the food that I have attached!

Service was bad, staff not very friendly, a girl sitting in dining room playing on computer got up and walked through kitchen and got a bag of chicken from a refrigerator then walked to food line and grabbed a paper plate without washing hands and didn't appear to be on duty. no chicken or gizzards available
I have been to the Basswood Fort Worth location twice in the last couple weeks and both times i was told that they had no dark chicken or no gizzards, I was told both times they didn't take enough chicken out and it would be at least about a half hour and the gizzards were marinating.
I will not be going back to that store.

Very poor service
My visit Dec. 31, 2021, I ordered 3 thighs with Okra a roll and a drink. Also ordered 3 legs with fries and a drink. I was told that it would be a 15-minute wait on the thighs. I chose to wait. BAY CITY, TEXAS RESTAURANT
This is about the manager/general manager Lane. We are extremely concerned and confused as to why an employee was sent home because they tested positive for covid but no one else was tested or why there were no safety measures taken? Lane did not care that someone else called in to say they were sick and this person was going to get tested for covid and all Lane did was fire that person! Whats more insane is that Lane told that person he/she needed to get to work because he/she was going to work the register and he/she said no because they were seriously sick and needed to get tested and thats when that person was fired! He/she physically went to speak with Lane while sick so that Lane can see the person was sick and Lane started arguing with that person and jamming his finger into the persons chest like taunting him to fight! And when complaints were made to the owners and they told the owners to check the cameras because it was all recorded, the owners said they would not check the footage because Lane wouldn't do that! The evidence is there and they don't give a [censored]! How does a person like that get a manager position!? A manager is supposed to care about the safety of their employees and customers especially during this pandemic!
I know Lane does not care about his employees because he would threaten to write up and/or fire an employee that has epilepsy when that person had seizures. The ex-employee would let Lane know they had a seizure that day and Lane would not let that person get back to work without a doctors excuse. That person has maybe one seizure a month. They take medication but do not need to go to the doctors every time they have one. Doctors visits and e.r visits are not cheap and is expensive with no insurance. Lane knows that and still did not give a sh**!
They all just want to make their money and they don't care who gets sick! They all dont care about their employees or customers!
Why is nothing being done?!? We don't understand!
Macaroni and Cheese
I bought a 3 fish meal with macaroni and cheese as the side. and a sweet tea to drink. As I was eating and chewing the macaroni and cheese, I felt there's a ingredient that it's hard to chew. I spit the food out of my mouth and look what it is. The macaroni and cheese product was contaminated with foreign material (plastic) on it. I tried to call the restaurant but it just keep ringing. The restaurant is located on 2308 82 St East as showing on the receipt.
Desired outcome: Manufacturer of macaroni and cheese need to recall product.

We Go to Chicken Express about 3 X a mo. Not sure what has happenEd to their food, it was just terrible tonight. Chicken was not cooked, the crust was bordering on raw. Fish was old & cold, tough could hardly bite it or tear apiece off. Coleslaw forgotten, roll was smashed like a pancake. Looks like our last visit. I was told they had only 1 person working the fryer, this shouldn't be the customers problem. Guess if people won't work, shouldn't open for service

Mashed potatoes side
I love going to chicken express because they have good sides and good portions. However, I just went today and the container of mashed potatoes was less than half full and a tiny spoonful of gravy. It was very upsetting. The small amount of mashed potatoes and gravy I did get was cold. Honestly, very upset about this experience and I am thinking of just going to Popeyes or KFC next time.
Half size portions
We noticed that the portion sizes of the sides were much smaller than usual. The clerk said that they ran out of the regular size cups so they were just using the smaller cups. Seriously? Being charged the same for half as much is not OK. Are these guys too lazy to go to a restaurant supply or Sams or Costco and get the proper size cups?
Desired outcome: Do better.
Bad service
I went m to Chicken Express on Sw Parkway in Wichita Falls Tx. The drive thru menu has 7 Express tenders with gravy for $7.79. I ordered them and other items. At the window the price of thre tenders went up to $9.29. I asked the employee why the difference, she got the manager.
He said their prices had gone up and they hadn't had time to change the sign. I told him that was false advertising, he just laughed.
It's not the money, less than 2 bucks won't break me. It's about doing the right thing, and something called customer service.
The 7 piece tenders combo was $9.29. I think she entered the wrong item and the manager didn't know how to fix it or didn't care. He was very flippant with his manners and response to me. I've been eating at Chicken E over 20 years, this is the worst I've been treated.
Desired outcome: Retrain staff on handling problems, not blowing off the customer.
