never have sale items
If you don't get there on Sunday morning when there are sales on different items then you are out of luck.this has been happening for years now. I called and complained to CVS and the manager called me yesterday and told me she can't do anything about how much she orders for sale items cause it comes from the corporate office .they do the ordering she said it goes buy how much she sold the last time. Well you can't sale any if you don't have any. I know at least a dozen people that won't go there because they never have anything of there sale items. I have a Pepsi rain check for over 3 weeks ago that I can't get filled at the store because they don't have any in stock. And then over 2 weeks ago I went to the royersford store when they were on sale for 99 cents and they didn't have any in stock. Now this week they are on sale for 2 for $2.00 and still both stores have none. I am disabled and have to take my walker seat out to get into store to shop . I have been going to these two stores now for the last three weeks to see if I can get my Pepsi's. I have 2 rain checks that I can't fill and still they have these items on sale every week this new week coming up now has the Pepsi's on sale again. Why sale them when you don't have any. They should order more for sale items. They not only do this with the Pepsi's but all sales items. Its false advertising. And I'm tired of it.
service by representative on duty 8/8/2018 morning cvs at 116 university drive, denton, tx
I just want to complaint about the demeanor of the customer service rep that I dealt with this morning at CVS 24 hours 116 University Drive, Denton, TX 76201.
I was treated very poorly, with a NOT very pleasant attitude. The lady that helped me was a middle age lady, blonde with short hair. I don't know her name but she was pretty rude. She was there in the morning shift. I have been going to CVS for my prescriptions for a long time and everyone else is very pleasant. This is the first time I deal with this customer service rep. and it was not a good experience. I was submitting a prescription for Pristiq and she accused me of putting a 1 in front of the amount to be dispensed. I told her that it was probably a mistake when the doctor wrote it and I just needed 90 instead of 190, which was apparently the mistake she was concerned about on the prescription. I was very upset on the way she talked to me. I am a professional in Healthcare and I would never do such a thing. I assure her it was an oversight from the doctor, but I just needed the amount for 3 months, which is what I usually get. She said she would not do anything until she talks to the doctor to verify, which I didn't have a problem with, except for the fact that she was rude to me. Thanks for your attention to this matter.
prescriptions/billing
I've had Type 1 Insulin dependent Diabetes Mellitus since 1963 - 55 years. I am disabled, because of the disease. I've been on an Insulin Pump for 14 years and just received a new Medtronic that I am breaking in. Medicare Part B pays for my Insulin - Humalog - and my Pat B supplement policy through my Union Hall pays what Medicare doesn't. We used to use Walgreens as our pharmacy and I never paid a dime for my Humalog. Last year we switched to CVS and it's been a nightmare since, because CVS claims their Techs don't know how to set up billing for Medicare Part B! Instead, they've routed the billing through our Pharmacy Provider - Navitus - and they're no prize, either, claiming they have no idea how to bill Medicare Part B, either. We're not talking aspirin here; no, we're talking about my lifeline for the past 55 years - Insulin. I'm running very low on Humalog, as a result of breaking in my new pump. I live 35 miles from the CVS in Show Low, Arizona. Last Sunday, 8/5/2018, I called in a refill and was told Navitus won't allow it until the 9th, because my prescription, written by a world renown Endocrinologist, only gives me 40 units per day to be used. I said, "Well I'm probably going to be out of Insulin by then." So I told the CVS rep that I would call my doc first thing Monday and have that script changed, which I did. Shortly after noon, on Monday the 6th, my Endocrinologist called in the new script. At precisely 6pm on Monday the 6th, I got a text that my pharmacist at CVS in Show Low had filled my prescription and it was ready for pick up. On Tuesday morning, I rolled up to the Drive-In window to get my Humalog and the girl rung up the sale and said, "That'll be $744.00." HUH? So I've now gone from paying -0- at Walgreens to $744.00 at CVS? I'm disabled, on Social Security and we haven't gotten much of a raise in the past 4 years. We're not talking aspirin here. We're talking about my lifeline! The pharmacist came to the window and I told him, "I can't get back to town until next week and I can't afford $744.00! I'm gonna' run out of Insulin by this weekend." And he replies, "Navitus won't cover your script until the 9th." ...Bear in mind, IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE BILLED TO NAVITUS! IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE BILLED TO MEDICARE PART B! I said, "Well I guess, for the first time in 55 years, I'll just run out of Insulin." He basically shrugged his shoulders and replied, "Oh well." So here I am, 62 years old, recovering from emergency open heart surgery to replace a defective aortic valve I've had since birth and running out of Insulin, because CVS doesn't know how to bill Medicare Part B and my supplemental policy. Allow me to reiterate that Walgreens did NOT have that problem. And due to this problem CVS refuses to fix, it looks like my next trip to Show Low, AZ may be in an ambulance with paramedics fighting to save me from dying from Diabetic ketoacidosis and, perhaps, that might cost the insurance companies, Medicare and hopefully CVS a bit more than $744.00. Way to go CVS! Incompetence at its best!
giving my controlled substance information out to someone
Just moved from NY to SC, the "friends" I was staying with until my boyfriend and I had a chance to check out the areas and find where we wanted to live...they called or stopped into (I'm not sure which) CVS in west Ashley SC after I got my refill of suboxone called in and they gave them all of my personal information of what the prescription was, how many I was prescribed and the date it was filled! Pretty sure this violated many laws and I will be going further with this in the morning since it all came to my knowledge after the pharmacy was closed and now because of this it caused a huge fight and we had to go to a hotel, which we couldn't really afford to have to pay for and now have no money whatsoever, living in this new state 16 hours from where we moved from, and have to somehow find somewhere to hold up every night until the 1st of august when my boyfriend gets his monthly VA pension.
racist employee complaint
This is info of an Employee of yours from a store in Rockford Illinois ..I will not spend my money with CVS if this is the type of people you all support ..I will keep pushing the issue until something changes! Your employee is a racist, and she's showing hate towards other races on social media. Again this is disgusting and unacceptable! Something has to be done.
I would avoid the CVS in Washington DC at 2000 M St NW, Washington, DC 20036 as they have a rat problem. I can't think of anything more disgusting than a rat running around amongst food items and medicine. I wouldn't mind but it wasn't even a small rat, it was pretty large.
Photo attached of said rodent, Washington dept of helath also advised.
pharmacist
I was in a lot of pain because I walked all over the Dollar Store to get groceries. They have one motorized cart and it was not available. I have neuropathy and back issues that were aggravated because I walked too much. I went to CVS in Piedmont, Al, to fill a pain medicine RX which was dated a couple of months ago because I did not feel like going to Jacksonville WalMart where I usually fill my medicine. I asked the clerk how much the medicine cost. Usually it takes a clerk only a few minutes to check the price. I waited about 20 minutes standing with my cane. I was in major pain and was shifting from leg to leg to try to ease the pain in my legs. I got the impression that they had decided that I was a drug addict. I am NOT. If I was a drug addict I would have filled the RX as soon as I got it, not two months later. The pharmacist told me he could not fill my RX unless he filled ALL of my meds. I use mail order for my meds because it is much cheaper. I am on a fixed income. The pharmacist and clerk kept exchanging looks about me. The pharmacist then came to the counter and THREW my RX and insurance card on the counter and hatefully said "I can't fill your prescription." I was and still am very upset at his attitude. I will not go into another CVS store.
(I don't know who the pharmacist or clerk were but it was in the evening)
pharmacist rude - unprofessional
Tuesday August 24, 2018
Treated rudely and unprofessionally by Laura Swink, "pharmacist".
Refused to offer her name and slammed drive up window in my face, which I have on video.
Then threatened to call police on me. I laughed and ask her to do so.
Contacted complaint hotline and was promised follow up return call.
This is now the 7th day since incident and no reply from CVS.

birth control
I have been receiving prescriptions from CVS for a very long time. I get birth control regularly. I have been getting Viorele for 9 years now. The pharmacy recently decided to switch it to Kariva. I got about 6months worth but I skip the placebos for two months. So I have only been on it for about 4 months. Well I have had the heaviest and most painful periods in my life and have had two periods this past month. This has been very traumatic.
incorrect prescription filled
Pt Name Georgia Beddow Perscription # 8868885 Filled 6/15/18 Location CVS Target Martinsburg, WV 25405 RPH Heather R Runion.
The doctor prescribed Hydroxy and your pharmacy filled Hydrochlorothiazide 25mg. I am very concerned about this serious mistake. The RPH on duty said I can pick up correct prescription tomorrow. My concern will this happen again or can I trust my future prescriptions will filled with the proper medicine?
prescription medication
I have had my prescriptions filled at CVS but doubt I will going forward. I have a congenital back disorder in which my sacrum did not form correctly. It is painful and I unfortunately have to take medication to help alleviate the pain. I have found that a certain manufacturer's medication seems to work better for me. I called the store at which my prescription had been at on Tuesday July 10th. I was told that particular medication would be ordered and my prescription would be filled Friday July 13th. This seemed fine. I had a few days left but don't feel comfortable being too low either. I called to check in on my prescription the night of Friday July 13th and was simply told my prescription was not filled. I don't know whether the medication was actually ordered or not but it wasn't there. And I was never notified. I was told that they might get it in Monday. Or Tuesday. I understand the climate surrounding these types of medications but this is frustrating and poor customer service. Apparently I was not even going to be notified. Had I not called to check in I would not have known that my prescription was not ready and may not be ready for another four days. It is hard enough dealing with daily back pain but when your pharmacy and pharmacist don't care about you or your condition it makes it that harder. This isn't the first time this particular CVS has demonstrated a lack of compassion. If it wasn't so close to my home I wouldn't subject myself to this type of treatment but it may be worth going out of my way to find a Walgreen's that doesn't mind taking my condition seriously or contacting me if there is an issue with my prescription.
I am both a physician and a customer. ON TWO occasions I required a small supply of codeine for post operative pain management. I am not able to take aspirin containing drugs due to drug interactions and bleeding problems. I do NOT want to take more addictive pain medications. On both occasions CVS failed to fill my medication in a timely way. After the first surgery, my 5 day supply of pain meds were delivered after SIX days of pain. At the time of the second surgery, the doctor had the foresight to order the medication A WEEK in advance.. but when the date of the surgery arrived CVS said they were unable to get the medication and never told me during the week that they would have a problem. I have heard from others that this may be CVS corporate policy. I complained to Florida Pharmacy review board after incident #1. The Board concluded CVS had done nothing illegal but their behavior was disgraceful and unacceptable. I am struggling to figure out how to take action against the New York City pharmacy (where I have been a customer for years and where they KNOW of my medication interaction problems and still did nothing appropriate when they received the Rx request for a small amount of codeine.)
pharmacy never having my prescription and being rude about it
turned in my prescription on 7-6-2018, to be filled on 7-11-18. i was called and told they were out of my medication and it would be in later today. i called back at 3:00 and was told very rudely that they were out all had been sold, they couldn't order because the pharmacy manager was off until friday, and that it would be the following tuesday before my medication would be there. i tried to ask questions about what i could do, as this is a medication that causes withdrawals if not maintained. i was told nothing other then calling my dr, and was treated with extream rudeness!
I'm over there app saying one thing and you talk to the pharmacy they say different. And when you asks for them to run your medication they go in fix the app and send you a text saying to soon. The medication is for depression the doctor knows I'm out that's why she called it in she said I can't go with out it.
What ever happened to doing a job at 100%
I didn't get we'll can the insurance or well call the doctor?
I will never be put though this again.
My complaint is in Riverside ca sorry it posted here
store manager very rude
My name is Jane Lauro and I am a mobile merchandiser for beeline. I service the beeline jewelry in numerous Cvs stores. I went into Cvs #6048 1933 Victory Blvd Staten Island, New York 10314 on July 10th 2018 at 3:45 in the afternoon to service the store. I did my normal service I asked for my delivery so I can put it out on the display and a manager named Joanne said that she put it out on display already. I explained that is why I was in the store. She rudely was acting very unprofessional telling me that I didn't have the right to tell her what to do in her store and she continued to yell and scream at me for no reason at all! This was the first time I have met her and I gave her no reason to act that way. I wanted you to know what kind of a manger you have in your store. I was very upset when I left the store and I feel this person should not be a manager in any store if she acts so rude to people!
Thank you,
Jane Lauro

This manager Joanne and much of her staff are extremely rude, unprofessional, angry and just plain insane. It’s obvious she has connections and someone is protecting her and her rude staff. We no longer use CVS as do many friends and family who think this store is a horror show

12 pack of diet coke
Purchased a 12 pack of diet coke from our local cvs pharmacy. 2 cans were dented - 1 had a hole in the bottom of the can and was empty and another had a "bulge" on the bottom of the can... Almost a square shape and completely warped the can. We were unable to drink from these cans... So technically we only had a "10" pack. This isn't the first time this happened to us... It's happened quite often... That's why we're writing to you... It's getting to be a problem. We buy at least (3) 12 packs a week... For years now. It's obvious we like your product... We're just getting very annoyed...
Still waiting for an answer. ..
hideous garbled same old on hold music
I am going to lose my mind and change pharmacies if I have to listen over and over to the same old garble music you play while on hold. Almost intolerable when you do not feel well. PLEASE give your customers a break! I am very serious, your customers are tired of this as 'waiting music.' It is so very irritating. PLEASE hear what I am trying to tell you. I told the local store and it went nowhere.
prescription refill
On May 6, 2018 my Norco script was filled. When he closed his practice the NP wrote a script for refill on 6/62018. The pharmacist stated that
they made a mistake and filled it on 6/5/2018, one day earlier(per the script. However, per days it was correct. Otherwise, I'm quite sure the
computer would have caught it. Now they say the next script is going to be late because THEY made the error and won't fill it until 7/6, 2018.
I can count out 30days, and the pharmacist on duty today was very condescending and admitting they made an error that I have to pay for.
aloe vera hand soap 360 brand
We like your 360 line of products but over a period of time have noticed that the pump feature often does not work... You can "turn to open" and it does not. I currently have 2 products in my home with this fault. Aloe vera hand soap and a charcoal facial wash. It has also happened in the past. The percentage of times this has happened is too much and should be reviewed in the production chain. It is an annoyance to have to return to the store for an exchange.
Thanks,
Kim
pharmacist and manager.
Cvs of Bangor PA, the pharmacist at the drive through window pocketed change and stole money from my grandmother. The bill was &1.78 for my grandmama meds, and making sure we were not paying attention, she shoved the receipt, meds and "change" in the bag and handed the bag to us and we drove off. We then checked the bag when we got home and realized there was only 22cents in the bag and not the 18$. We went back the store said they would look into it and call us the next morning. Nothing till we went back in person at 2pm and the manager was acting like we had no idea what we were talking about. Then we were told there isn't anything to do and that they won't Check the cameras because there is no proof. I'm sorry but this is unacceptable and unprofessional. Needless to say we will not be going back to this store and will be using a different pharmacy due to not being able to trust your workers at this store.
charged me full price and did not use my insurance provided.
I gave the pharmacy my insurance card and the pharmacist said to me "no problem". When it came time to pay for prescriptions ...6 hours later...The charges were full amount and the sales person said that the amount was with my co-pay. I told her it was the full amount and the co-pay should be $3.35 NOT $90. She shrugged her shoulders and said "that's the total".. I went to Walgreens the next month and they charged me $3.35 for same prescription. CVS are not only LIARS but THEIVES as well. Never will I set foot in their store again.
