Gave me the wrong prescription
I picked up my prescription this morning from CVS. I looked at the brown bag, had proper name and Rx listed. I walked back home (I have epilepsy) only to discover I only got part of my Rx plus someone else's Rx for something else. I looked it up and it says it is for GERD. I then had to walk another 1.5 miles back and forth to get the problem corrected. Not...
Read full review of CVSBonus gifts offered to customers
I have been a victim of this scam twice.
It is the bonus gift opportunity to buy something from a variety of discounted gifts.
The gift is never as advertised. The price is never as advertised.
The first time, was a pair of ear buds. The advertised price was supposed to be $ 6.99. When my bank statement came, I was actually charged $ 112.00 plus shipping.
The second was a car vacuum. Same identical scam, advertised as $ 9.99 plus shipping. The actual price was $ 49.99 plus shipping.
I swore I would never use this CVS service again. I have a hard time believing that CVS would allow this to happen if they ever knew. How many complaints like this has CVS had? I'm curious.
Desired outcome: Protect future unsuspecting customers
I have twice accepted to purchase a discounted bonus gift offered by CVS or their subsidiaries. And twice I have been significantly over charged.
The money is a minor insult.
The offer from CVS's vender is a scam.
I love CVS, but I can honestly say this is the worst experience I've ever had with CVS, or whoever their vendor is. The worst part was losing faith in CVS.
The first incident was for a set of ear buds for $ 12.99, but I was actually charged $ 116.99.
The second incident was for a car vacuum, for 29.99 and I was charged $ 99.99.
Chairs taken away by the pharmacy area
Hicksville, 11801 store on Newbridge Road and old country Road. had chairs for years by the pharmacy area and now it doesn’t many of us are older with problems pertaining to standing, waiting on this endless lines to get prescriptions.
never have enough help is now to a point where I’m looking for a new drugstore .
you have a line of chairs for the shots area
how about giving numbers like a butcher shop so we can sit very unhappy
Desired outcome: bring back the chairs by the pharmacy area, service the customers without such long lines waiting time
Manager
CVS manager at the Beale street location in Quincy at 9:45PM August 24th 2023 was a white male 25-30+ years old. I buy 2 gallons of water and a sand bucket. The manager uninvitingly yells across the store “it’s pretty late for beach supplies!” While it sounds neutral in text, the experience I received was taunting, rude, and pedantic. It’s hostile. Don’t...

CVS 9006 Greenwell Springs Rd. Ashley Called to get a refill in eye drops. I was told I needed a prior authorization, so I asked who I needed to call. The doctor's office or the insurance. I was told, yea, for both. The calls started at 10:15 and ended at 1:45. I called all parties involved. While talking the insurance company, a floater from CVS called to...

I am a physician and my wife is a nurse. My wife has pneumonia and our physician prescribed Rocephin IM rather than admitting her to the hospital. The pharmacy tech called my wife and said they had received the medication but would not give her the medication - “they didn’t feel comfortable giving an IV medication for home use.” Essentially implying our doctor doesn’t know what he is doing and not knowing it can be given IM. She has been getting the shots at his office but needed it for the weekend. This is the same pharmacy who recently gave me another patient’s prescriptions and demanded I drive back immediately to return them. Incompetence beyond measure at this location. Will no longer use CVS and I will discourage my patients from doing so as well.
Desired outcome: Investigate this location - incompetent.
Incompetence and insolence seem to be the top two requirements for CVS personnel. Customer service, any care at all about the customer do not exist at CVS, so it must begin with their executive officers and management. I am searching for a new pharmacy and may need to go to a small independent one. It couldn’t be less convenient or have worse customer service.
Pharmacy
Sunday august 20th - pharmacy rudeness
1:29 in line at pharmacy-girl behind counter says we close at 1:30 til 2:00
I said it's 1:29 - she said we still can't take care of you
I have been a customer at this cvs for over 30 years - eddie dowling highway north smithfield ri
I have disliked the service here for many years and have learned to tolerate it-but it must be said - you people suck
Corporate & retail independence has ruined so much in this country and cvs is one of the worst offenders

Customer service
Since recently closing the Katonah NY. location, which had superior service,
the 715 Bedford Rd., Bedford Hills NY location has taken over. This store in Bedford Hills is a true disgrace to the customers. Everyone we know who uses this location has nothing but negative comments and many are leaving to other pharmacies. We were told by the former staff at Katonah, before you closed it, some were going over to Bedford Hills. That was false, as we have not seen any staff from Bedford Hills. These staff members, especially the pharmacists, were very familiar with their customer's needs. My recent experience at Bedford Hills was nothing short of horrible and unprofessional. None of my numerous phone calls were answered. Upon going directly to the store, I was told that they do not answer their phone at the location. My prescriptions were not filled, even though I was notified on my cellphone that they were. I could not get any response from the pharmacy.
Get you act together!
Desired outcome: Increase staff and quality of service.
Store lights
CVS store # 8789 — Fluorescent tube ceiling lights. Around 20 are rolling or strobing and have been for many many months. They are real bad for people with epilepsy. Dangerous and should not ever get that bad with so many lights flashing for so long. This needs to be fixed ASAP. If someone has a seizure in the store due to neglect of those lights there...

I went to pick up a prescription this evening from CVS and are shocked at their behavior. After getting home I noticed the bottle felt a little light for the quantity prescribed and listed on the bottle, which prompted me to count what I actually received. Long and behold, I was 20 short. I called them and they told me they would "write a note" and to pick...

May 30,2023. The head pharmacist lied about the legality of filling an out of state doctors script for my sleep meds that are considered a controlled substance. I called yesterday to the Luray, VA Walmart utilizing your automated Telephony system (8/10/2023 roughly around 5PM). I was told that my order would be ready for pickup. at 8PM. I rode a bike to the CVS only to be told they nothing about the refill.
I came back home and called your telephony system again; it stated my RX would be ready today (8/11/2023) at 11:00AM. I was driven to the store to again not receive the RX.
A nice lady at another counter looked into the issue.
The issue was my insurance will not refill the RX until 8/15/2023.
I am a retired IT Director. I wrote several telephony systems and payment through phone,
This whole incident could be resolved by CVS coding their telephony system to not blindly state the RX will be ready at time of and date of X and Y without taking into account the insurance date.
I wasted valuable time for CVS shortcoming with respect to a simple coding construct that I know is viable.
What should have happened is being told my RX would be available for pickup based on the viable insurance date.
Feel free to call me to articulate further how you can make your telephony system more reliable.
I should get a decent sized gift card for even suggesting updating your system in order to better serve your customers.

Backorder/Delay on Ozempic
I understand my diabetes medication is having a nationwide shortage; however, my CVS pharmacy has no tentative date on when it will be available, nor has anyone made an attempt to contact the manufacturer to expedite or obtain an ETA. I called the CVS corporate office as well and they brushed me off to another phone number with the same flaccid results.
Is there any employee within the entire CVS conglomerate that is attempting to expedite this matter and inform the other chains of any updates? Your diabetic customers need to know before they must make the move to switch to a new medication, because our system needs time to adjust.
Desired outcome: I'd like an ETA for my prescription. The manufacturers should have a date when their stock will be released, and CVS should contact them for a viable ETA.
The automated phone system for prescription refills
I received an automated phone call on August 5th telling me that my prescription refill was ready for pick up. When I went to the pharmacy on August 9, they said that they had no prescription for me. I told them that I received a phone call saying the prescription was ready. They said that it happens frequently that customers get called to pick up...
