I have been going to this location for years but it has changed hands recently and now the servers with long hair do not have their hair tied back or up and this is disgusting. If I get a hair in my food I gag and have stopped going to this location because of this. My niece ordered pizza from the kids menu. Pizza arrived and she started to eat it when all of a sudden she stopped. She was in shock. Told us there is a fly in/on her pizza. She was very upset. I took a picture. I couldn't believe it ! We immediately told the waitress. The waitress apologized and offered to get another one for us. About 10 minutes passed and I asked the waitress whether the manager was still coming. She said yes. Finally the manager came and started to tell us that there has been a fruit fly problem in the kitchen. She also mentioned that when they open the cans of pineapple it is attracting the flies. We said that the workers should be checking the dishes before bringing them out to customers. She said they do? I then asked her if we would be compensated so she offered free desert for the table. There were 4 of us.
The second pizza came and again a fly was on it! We took pictures again. I quickly jumped up and told the waitress. She apologized. We told her we want to speak to the manager. So we sat there for about 5 minutes with our jackets on. The waitress came back and in a low voice told us the manager said that we can leave if we want. So we left. The manager never spoke to us.
Neither the manger seemed to be remorseful about what had happened. I am under the impression that this has happened before. I am absolutely disgusted with what has happened.
employee treatment
This place should be boycotted, servers get cut while they have tables and go unpaid for hours a shift every single night. Horrible employee treatment, getting yelled and sworn at by managers and other staff constantly. not to mention the food is disgusting and frozen, kitchen is dirty and gross. Save your bowels and don't support a place that treats their employees like dirt.

I ordered my food to go and still had not received it 45 minutes later. My bill was paid so I couldn't even leave. The desserts were brought 45 minutes in but my food didn't show up until a full hour later. Ridiculous service for something that was ordered to go! I am not happy about the service at all and will not be going back again. East side Mario's was my favourite restaurant before this whole ideal but it's been tainted now. Unless I receive some type of compensation, I will not return again.
my son got fired on his last day
My son was fired by nick for placing a loaf of your bread on a table on his last day he was supposed to work. I took my family to your Windsor Ontario Canada location for my sons bday. We are being greeted by the girl at the door. Within 4 mins the manager (Annie) comes by and starts yelling at her to start something else while she's in the middle of speaking with me. All throughout our meal you could hear her being rude and yelling at The waitresses who are visibly stressed out. I ask one are you okay ? Does she do this often and she replies it's just a pay check to get me by.
One of the waitresses must of said something because here comes Annie to my table while we are eating and says I'm sorry but I think there might be something confusion I'm a great manager and we can call any of the girls over right now to tell you. Keep in mind it's my sons bday and she has rudely interrupted our meal. She continues to tell me that she has a hearing disability and it causes her to talk loudly and that she's not yelling at her staff. Okay I understand talking loudly but at least 4 times my wife and I counted her yelling across the restaurant for the servers to do this or that. Our whole meal was ruined as we were more focused on the yelling manager then our sons bday lunch. I couldn't believe the way she approached me and how she tried to make me feel bad about her hearing disability. Hearing issues or not you don't yell across a restaurant or interrupt the servers as she is speaking to A customer. We ask for our bill and I kindly give a 20$ tip to my server for having to put up with a bods like that. All in all we won't be returning to the Windsor location of Annie is still there.

Regardless we ordered and began to eat - my son didn't like the Alfredo sauce and I brought it to the attention of the server - we ended up getting pasta with butter and it came back with nothing on it - it was horrible
None of the pastas had enough sauce - tried to complain but no one was listening and have robotic answers

On Saturday Aug 10/19 my brothers and I met for lunch, my younger brother is disabled and in a wheelchair Went to East Side Mario's and found the entrance from the mall has been blocked and bricked up. Went outside to the other entrance to find the side walk too narrow especially when the door is opened - this width of the sidewalk did not give my brother enough room to get his chair safely indoors and he was very upset. We did manage to get to the patio and have our lunch. Spoke to the manager and he was very understanding and I appreciate the time he took to speak with us. It would be useful if the sidewalk in front of the entrance had a ramp or no curb to give access to the restaurant. My family and I are very concern that your restaurant has no consideration for the disabled and our family outing was marred by this incident. I would appreciate your feed back on this.

We went there on monday evening, service was quick and nice. We chose to sit inside as I expected it will be clean. However there were sooo many mosquitoes inside, I got 4 bits and it is not hygienic, as mosquito sat on the food as well. I showed the waitress, the mosquitoes I killed she just picked the dead ones and went away. I will not be able to go there atleast whole summer if these are the conditions
