The new Samsung cellphone that got delivered as part of the new upgrade was faulty. The Elite Mobile agents then had a delivery person retrieve the phone from my residence. I was awaiting further information about when I would receive a new phone, but no one had gotten back to me after a few days.
On multiple occasions I called to the number and they were unable to retrieve any information on their system about my account and the issue with the phone. However, they continued trying to sell me new upgrades and packages and could not answer any of my questions regarding what I had agreed to or when I would be receiving my new replacement Samsung.
I was under the impression I was speaking to Vodacom customer care and not this company "Elite Mobile", who have not been keeping any records of any of the calls I have been making to them, shifting me around to other staff members, promising to call me back and not doing so. After several unsuccessful attempts I finally asked which department of vodacom I was dealing with and they mentioned "Elite Mobile". As I am now aware, this is a third party agent and their agents are thus calling under false pretences. There was no upfront disclosure as to who they are- not at any stage of my dealings with them. I feel better dealing with vodacom directly, as everything is kept on record. Seeing as I am a customer with vodacom I see no point in ever going through this company and I warn against anyone doing soin the future. However, Vodacom is completely complicit in all of this and seem to be fine with the manner in which Elite Mobile conducts themselves, as long as they continue to make money for Vodacom. This whole ordeal has been enough to convince me to leave vodacom altogether.
