I called and put in complaint. Area manager was supposed to call me back but has not 3 days later. I attempted to rent a vehicle in Redlands, CA. I expected the area manager to call me back. My situation was discrimination and bad customer service. It seems to me like management is hiding from people complaint about their service. On Friday 7/26/2024, at the Redlands, CA branch. I experienced racial issues with the branch manager "Gracie". I made sure there were cameras. I asked her to special her name for me she refused. I dumbed myself down and told her I was illiterate and that was why I needed her to spell it for me. Her response was well that too bad and I am sorry. This manager displayed many character flaws to be a manager. I waited for almost two hours for them to tell me they did not have the car I had on reservation. I needed a car not an SUV. I had a person that was 6'8" tall to fit into the car that was why I was asking for a larger size car. I explained that after standing in line for about 20 minutes. Then 1.5 hours later they did the opposite. But the attitude by the manager was misplaced, disrespectful, & racial motived..

I called your corporate office and left two complaints for the Area Manager to call me back. However, the person still has not called me back. This complaint is about your Redlands, CA office. This format allows you not to address a complaint properly. I do not want to "chat" through a computer. Look up the complaints for the Redlands office. That branch manager should have been fired. I asked you to pull the footage from the camera. So, you could see what I was talking about. I had to go to another city to rent a car waiting another 1.5 to 2 hours. Then told if I returned the vehicle to my local office, I would have to pay $250. If you truly wanted more information, you would have checked your complaints at this office. The last time I talked to the agent handling the complaint they told me the 1st one was still in the system and that they would escalate the issue. So, I reject your attempt in this format. The information is already in your possession. The mistreatment I received from your manager at the Redlands office was unacceptable.

Still no response as of 9/09/2024. I will assume they do not want to handle racism issues.
