When we went to turn in our rental car, the first Enterprise clerk was completing the paperwork and checking us out AOK. Then a second clerk came up and said there was damage to the roof line close to the windshield. We could not see the damage and it certainly did not meet the size they specified as noteworthy at the beginning of the rental. Enterprise says they are going to charge our deductible. This sounds exactly like the scam alerts we have subsequently read about on line but did not know about before choosing Enterprise.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

Enterprise Rent a Car
Enterprise is evil. Pure and simple. I was charged nearly $950 for two scratches on the top of the trunk of the car I rented for a couple of days. They were no more than 3" long. Maybe they were there before I rented it, not sure. I'll admit I didn't check the car over before I drove it off the lot. I took the agent's word for it. ( I'm never doing that ever again...I mean with Avis, Hertz, ect. because I'm never using Enterprise again. Ever.) But $950?! Rip off! Luckily, Visa took care of it. And Enterprise were anything but helpful with the claim process. Even threatened to sic a collection agency on me after only two weeks after I returned the vehicle. Anyways, take a look around the web, and you'll actually find sites dedicated to Enterprise's scamming ways with plenty of horror stories about this terrible "business".
Don't take their word for it they do this all the time. It just happened to me. I know that the dent was there there before they rented it to me and my girlfriend even mentioned 30 minutes after picking up the car when she was helping me load our luggage at home. When i returned it they said they would never rent out a car in that condition. Apparently the salesman did not note the dents and scratched when he said that he saw them. They are horrible. I went to enterprise and they didn't even "pretend" to overlook the car, they just gave me the keys and said not to worry about it, "they aren't enterprise."
If you are interested in talking further about this please message me. I will not pay for damage that was on the car prior to renting it. My lawyer is sending them a letter. It is wrong and unfair to do this to people. especially when they are your customers. I used to use them every time but I never will again either.
