I went to buy chicken breasts at your store at 18300 SW 137 Ave., Miami, Fl. store. They were advertised on page one of the weekly circular which comes to me by mail. I could not find the item. There was no one in the meat department but, close by, the manager of the fish department was on the floor. He pointed to the chicken section and said “look there”. I explained that I had done that. He then replied “well then we are out”. A second employee found the meat department manager who told him to tell me to come back late in the day or tomorrow when a shipment was due.I went to customer service for a rain check but was told that Fresco y Mas didn’t issue these anymore. No attempt was made to substitute other chicken breasts or to put some aside for me to pickup when the shipment arrived.
Recommendation: Shop at Publix. The managers at the Country Walk Publix go the extra mile.
Sounds like Fresco y Mas missed the mark on this one — no chicken, no rain check, and no effort to make it right. Not exactly the best way to keep a customer happy. You’d think they’d at least offer a substitute or set something aside if you went out of your way. Better luck next time finding that chicken without the hassle!
