General Electric ge microwave model jvm 6175ef1es

One of my microwaves rack holding tabs caught fire this morning while trying to warm up some food.

i have attached a picture and was not able to attach the video I took since it looks like the file size is too large.

Please let me know how you can help either replacing this item or getting a different model that does not have these issues. Really concerned that it could make my house catch fire...

Thanks,

Mark Sheppard

General Electric ge cafe stove and dishwasher; ge customer service; home depot

Purchased 3 brand new GE appliances from home depot; upon installation 2 of them did not work. Per home depot, GE needs to warranty these brand new appliances; Call and call and call GE service line for repair; finally come out and order part for stove, and label dishwasher as "structual damage" which repairman says means it is non fixable and needs replacement. Next week repair guy does not come on scheduled day; reschedule for another day; shows up and tries to install part on stove and strips all the screws and bends other parts trying to install the new part which he never could do. I ask him what about the dishwasher and he says "well its structual damage and needs to be replaced." SO i tell him I was told by GE service dept that parts were ordered to repair it. He says what parts, its structrual. Call GE back and they say return to home depot; go to home depot and they say GE needs to replace! So who needs to replace my brand new appliances. This wasn't a remodel; My house was flooded and I have been putting my house back together for the past 8 months! I shouldn't have to deal with brand new appliances that don't work!

General Electric refrigerator (model gsh25jfxl bb)

I have been upset with this lemon of a product since the first year I bought it. The longest standing problem has been the freezing of the tube on the water dispenser. It happened a couple times early on, and repair people said that everything was working properly and just set the temp lower (as if I don't need frozen foods to remain frozen). There is a design flaw that leaks cold air from the freezer onto the tubes and the water buildup from dispensing water onto the frozen tube eventually blocks the tube. It would freeze every couple months in the years 2-4. I had never gotten GE to pay for any of those repairs, but by the time it was reproducibly happening to myself and other customers, GE didn't want to do anything about it. I learned through GE that there is an "optional" part called a warmer that could be installed. The part serves absolutely no other purpose than fixing the bad design on the fridge, and they charge about $75 for it. There have been hundreds of complaints I've seen about this, and a small handful of people got that additional part for free but most have to pay for it (like me). That part I purchased had worked for a couple years and has now stopped so I have to thaw my freezer door every couple months again. Completely separately, I have now replaced the auger and faceplate for my freezer for the second time. Some absolute idiot product engineer for GE decided to use brittle acrylic for wearable parts such as those that absolutely do not need to be transparent. Overall, I have spent almost the price of the fridge, itself, on repairs and replacement parts. I am fed up with this fridge and GE, and I have been placing this complaint on every product and manufacturer site that I can find. It's not whether any of these design defects have made it into newer products, it's whether GE, as a company, still handles these problems as they do, i.e., no coverage, no recalls/replacements, no acknowledgments, and trying to create a new revenue stream for poor designs.

General Electric oven

Model #jt5500sf3ss, serial # hf612698q. Oven is in a new home that is 1 1/2 years old and rarely used, failed to work, showing an error code of f97. We scheduled a technician to come out and fix, arranging our work schedules so someone would be home. The technication did not have the parts, even though we told him what the error code was, so he ordered them and scheduled a second visit. Once again we had to arranged our work schedule so someone would be home. The evening before the service, we received a call saying the parts were on back order and the tech visit would not occur. They told me that they had sent the parts to my home and asked me to call when they arrived so we could schedule another visit. This is the 3rd time we have had to rearrange our work schedules for ge's poor planning and poor product performance. When the parts arrived and we arranged another visit, the tech replaced over $300 in parts (Yes they charged me as the oven only had a one year warranty). Literally the first time we used the oven after the repair, the oven failed to work again, showing the same f97 error code. Called ge again and arranged another tech visit (4th visit and 5th time to rearrange our work schedules). Once again, the evening before the visit, we received a call stating the new parts had not come in as they are on back-order. Still waiting on parts and wondering why we cannot get our crappy oven fixed properly and why someone cannot see that parts are not available and reschedule immediately instead of waiting until the evening before to tell us no visit will occur. I will never recommend ge appaliances to anyone because of the poor performance of the product, but more importantly because of the poor customer service we are receiving.

General Electric ge stove model # cgs990setss

GE Appliances Inquiry [Incident: [protected]] - was my email correspondence with their "customer service" dept.

I have a 4 year old stove that we've had to have 2 igniters replaced - the issue recently happened again. This time, I called GE to service it. My technician shared that he received an email FROM GE stating exactly what the problem is with our stove. IT WAS MANUFACTURED INCORRECTLY. The floor of the oven is too close to the igniter which causes the igniter to short out. GE has YET to put out a recall on this item, and has the audacity to expect ME, the consumer to pay out of pocket to repair THEIR mistake in manufacturing. They did offer me a whopping 25% off of parts, is this supposed to make up for the $2900 stove that I've had issues with since it arrived in my home? Maybe I should wait until it catches my floor on fire, maybe then they'll pay for THEIR error? I've never been so disgusted or dissatisfied with a company who refuses to stand by their products.

General Electric spacemaker microwave oven

Model JVM1730DP1BB, Serial GV321941B, Manufactured April 2011

This is the second microwave we've bought since 2007. They are both the same model with the ventahood venting out to the roof. They have not lasted like they should. The one now won't cook. It will vent and clock works but won't cook. These are expensive ovens and should last much longer. I have had to pay an extra expense as well to have them installed. I would like to know what you are willing to do about it. I'm very dissatisfied now with your products.

General Electric washer / gtw460asj5ww

This is my second washer in less then a year!
My first washer from the beginning didn't work correctly, after multiple service calls and several hours on the phone with GE it finally was replaced with older smaller model then I originally had! I was ok with this since it seemed to be doing the job. The last few loads I have washed I noticed the clothes were not coming clean. Tonight as I was washing a load the washer seemed to be making louder noise then usual I went to check, the lid lock light was off and it was on the spin cycle, it continually stayed on spin cycle with the water still in the drum. I had to unplug the washer to get it to stop spinning. I'm more then dissatisfied! I find it hard to believe that there is only "1% failure rate" per GE customer service employee! What's the odds that I would get two bad machines? Not only has these washers been inconvenient it has cost me money that I should not had to spend. I will now have to go back to the laundry mat to do my families clothes! This cost me gas money and money to do our laundry. It is also time consuming, I'm a working mother of two young children, I should not be spending time at a laundry mat to do laundry dry when I have brand new washer! The last time I had to use laundry mat my daughter picked up lice! She has hair to her waist and thick it took me 3 hours to comb through her hair with lice treatment and that also cost me 50 dollars per treatment, it takes 2 treatments to get rid of those pesky things.

General Electric ge model # ghwn4250d1ww washer

Own this washer almost 2 years occasionally would spin clothes . Had drive motor catch fire today 03/15/2017. Luckily I happened to be in basement and smelled the burning plastic and smoke so I was able to unplug before it could possibly burn my house down. Is there a recall ? I know there is a recall for a GE front loader for same reason. This is a dangerous situation.

General Electric ge washing machine

We purchased a brand new washer and dryer back in November 2016. When it finally arrived early December - the day it arrived I wanted to try it out and wouldn't you know it- it wouldn't work! Not even in our home for 24hrs and I was on the phone to customer service. They sent a tech out and the water temp sensor was screwed- and the dryer door switch was broken- after waiting 2wks to finally use our machines- they were repaired yet still didn't work! Service tech had to come out again and repair an issue with the washer.

Fast forward until yesterday- I did two loads of laundry with out issue on Saturday. Now Sunday I do up a load of work clothes and wouldn't you know it- the machine won't work AGAIN! This time it will start the wash cycle by filling only then chimes like it's finished! It would drain or spin- ive troubleshot everything in the manual- unplugged it- started over, tried the "drain and spin" cycle. And NOTHING! I've had to manually ring out every article and use the public laundry mat to wash our clothes as my $800 machine sits collecting dust! I've had it with GE appliances and will NEVER recommend nor buy another piece of crap. Oh and as for customer service? They are just as useless as the appliances sold by GE.

General Electric ge washer caught fire before recall - ge refuses to reimburse for replacement

Our Model WPGT9360E0WW GE HE Top Loading Profile Washer caught fire 18-May-2016. It appeared that the fire originated at the main control board, P/N WH12X10281. When this event occurred, we immediately unplugged the washer from its electrical supply, but smoldering continued for a few minutes. When the smoldering and smoking had slowed, we removed the backsplash and used a fire extinguisher as an additional safety measure as there did seem to be heat generated from the control board area.

The Washer had been loaded with laundry, which then had to be taken to a laundromat along with all of our laundry as we of course would not reconnect the defective GE Washer to the electrical supply. We researched having the main control board replaced, but learned that a new washer could be obtained for a lower cost than the parts and labor for repair. We purchased a new washing machine of a different brand and paid to have the defective GE Washer hauled away at the time of delivery of our new machine.

GE issued a Recall Notice dated 28-Nov-2016 for this defective washer citing that there is a risk of fire. By that time, six months following the recalled defective GE washer catching fire, the defective GE washer had been removed from our home and replaced with an alternate brand.

Upon receiving the Recall Notice, I immediately contacted GE to request reimbursement for the replacement washer that I purchased, plus the expended fire extinguisher and laundromat costs, a total of $522.50. GE failed to respond and so I re-transmitted my request on 13-Feb-2017. Finally on 03-March-2017, GE called to advise that since I no longer have the washer for their "verification", my request will not be considered. I had provided photos indicating charring of the washer backsplash above the area where the fire originated, but GE used this weak excuse of the washer having been removed from our home nine (9) months earlier for not reimbursing for the replacement washer. The washer was no longer under warranty and I saw no reason to contact GE prior to my receipt of the Recall letter. And who in the world would keep a burned out washer at their home for months after it had been replaced?

Our home is still loaded with GE Appliances including dishwasher, clothes dryer, refrigerator, cooktop and range and vent hood. Hopefully these items will not catch fire, and as they reach the end of their service life, they will certainly not be replaced with GE products.

General Electric gas stove top

about 7 years ago, we had our kitchen completely remodeled. we purchased all GE profile appliances. having called a service professional, because there were no sparks to light the burners, he told us it was the entire sparking unit that had stopped working...replacement between $500 and $700 which is MORE than we paid for the stovetop. there was no offer of extended warranty on this. the stove top is set in granite...so replacement will be very very tricky. very disappointed in a good old UD brand. no more GE for us!

General Electric ge washing machine

Purchased a newer type washer from lowes and it was a ge brand washer. This is the biggest piece of crap I have ever owned. It will not spin without getting out of balance and jumping all over the place. You have to stop the spin cycle and redistribute all the clothes in order to get it to complete a wash cycle' it will trap clothes under the agjitater that goes up and down for some reason as well as back and forth. Who ever the engineer was that designed this pos needs to be fired and his degree burned. I will never buy another ge product. This has been a night mare. Can't get the hot/ cold to work like it should and the repair person just by-passed the warm selector so I only have cold and hot, no in between. If lowes would come pick this garbage up I would let them have it back for free just to get it out of my house. Buyer beware!

General Electric ge washing machine leaves marks on my laundry

My washing machine leaves spider web like patterns on our laundry. I think it is happening in the spin cycle where it is drawn against the drum and the holes in the drums are dirty? If you rewash it often goes away. Although we have had the machine for almost a year...it always has done this. It is also incredibly noisy which is too bad since it is in the kitchen of an open floor plan mid-60s home.

General Electric ge hotpoint electric range

On January 31, 2017, I had a tech (Trent) from GE come to my house regarding a problem with my 2008 GE Hotpoint Electric Range (not under warranty), apparently, a board from the back of the stove had burned out (window time was from 12:00 – 5:00). The tech (Trent) said that he would have to order the part and it would come directly to my house, I asked the tech (Trent) if I needed to call GE to schedule an appointment, his response was “I am GE, I will schedule the appointment, no need to call anyone else “. The appointment was scheduled for February 7, 2017 between the hours of 12:00 – 5:00 (I took off work between those hours). On February 7, 2017 at 4:50 pm, no tech (Trent), so I called GE and received the automated line – keyed in my phone number and no appointment was scheduled for me on that date. I finally got in touch with a customer service rep. who apologized to me, saying that the part was never ordered and an appointment was never set, the customer service rep. said that she (didn’t get her name) would order the part, I told her this was unacceptable and that GE has a very good customer service reputation, she said that she would transfer me to the Consumer Relations Dept. [protected]. I spoke to a Supervisor/Case Manager named Audrey at ext. 5470, who said that she would personally order the part for me and due to the inconvenience would also send a check for $50. Audrey never asked me for the part number, so it was assumed that she had it, since she said she would order it. We rescheduled the appointment for February 14, 2017. On February 13, 2017 I called GE to confirm my appointment for the next day, again no record of the part being ordered. I asked to be transferred to Consumer Relations. A Supervisor named Logan (ID #787976 spoke to me and said he had no record of the part being ordered and that he wasn’t able to order the part due to the fact he didn’t have a part number. I asked him why did he not have the part number but Audrey was able to retrieve this information. While on the phone with Logan, he asked if I could hold on so he could contact the tech (Trent), Logan came back after having me on hold for several minutes and informed me that he was unable to get in contact with the tech (Trent). He (Logan) also tried contacting Audrey (Case Manager – ext. 5470), who never answered nor returned his call. I voiced my frustration to Logan, explaining what an inconvenience this was, not having a stove for two weeks now going into the third week, no microwave, have to eat out or order food – VERY EXPENSIVE – not to mention the time I had to take off work for NOTHING. GE is supposed to have a great customer service reputation – what happened, why did I fall through the cracks (so to speak)? I also explained to Logan that the $50 compensation check that Audrey (Case Manager – ext. 5470) said that I would receive in about three to five business days never arrived, which made me wonder if this also was just another untruth that was told to me. I’m sort of at my wits end, Logan said he would have Audrey call me regarding this matter, I responded by telling Logan that I wasn’t comfortable with speaking with Audrey due to the fact that she basically told me she would order the part and never did – telling me this to appease me and get me off the phone as soon as possible. Logan also, mentioned that I would be able to get a Concession #4, which he explained that it meant No Charge for Labor, Parts or Service. On February 14, 2017, a service person (Trent) came to my house around 12:00, he was asked if indeed did he have the part, his response was no, the part should have been sent directly to me. He preceded to show me that he had indeed ordered the part on January 31st for the service call that was to take place on February 7th, I also asked why he never showed up or called on February 7th, he responded that GE called him out on another call and a rep from GE should have contacted me. I later called the Consumer Relations Dept. to ensure that the part was ordered, and I had the displeasure of speaking with Maria ext. 5085, who was VERY RUDE, I attempted to explain to her all the difficulties that I was experiencing attempting to get one part and told her that I felted that I should have some type of compensation, her response was, your stove was not under warranty, my response was, what does that have to do with my part not being ordered and that I would be sent an invoice and if I didn’t pay the bill then it would go to collections, why would she voice this to me and no service was performed yet? I asked to speak with her supervisor, she put me on hold for seven minutes (hoping that I would hang-up), finally her supervisor Andre (Floor Supervisor) picked-up the line, where once again, I repeated the whole situation once again. Andre (Floor Supervisor) agreed that I was treated unprofessional by Maria ext. 5085 and told untruths by Audrey ext. 5470, she responded that she would have a talk with both customer service reps, she also offered me a mere 25% off labor ($162.00) and 25% off the part (57.25) and told me that there was nothing she could do regarding wavering the service call fee. I asked her if that was the best she could provide me, especially after enduring not having a stove for three weeks and taking off work for absolutely nothing, her response was, that’s the best you’ll get. On February 15 at 10:29 am, I received a call from Audrey (floor supervisor ext. 5470) she told me that my case would be closed, I responded that this hadn’t been resolved and I didn’t want the case closed, her response was HAVE A GOOD DAY MISS JAMES and hung-up the phone. What I want to accomplish from this letter is that no customer should be treated as unfairly by your company as I was, treated as if I were the one that made several mistakes, which lead to not having a stove for over three weeks and taking off work unnecessarily. Your customer service people are the most DISHONEST and UNPROFESSIONAL people I’ve had the displeasure of speaking with at any company.

General Electric adora fridge

So my wife says to me one day babe I think id like to get a new fridge, one of the ones with the freezer on the bottom and get rid of this side by side we have been using for 20 years now . So we looked to see what brand it was and found it was a ge, we began looking for a fridge that day, we went to Home Depot and we can find a very nice fridge with all the room we needed and the price was right to who's called a GE Adora we bought it that day and took it home we sold our still running 20 year old GE fridge that day also. So we've had this fridge just barely two years and right now it doesn't even keep our food cold and will not pool past 54 degrees the freezer definitely works the Ice Maker Works the door works but the fridge part does not work and they tell me I'm out of warranty and they want $100 to come look at it. The asked me this is a total scam two years and my fridge is broken the last one lasted 20 years something's wrong so I talked to the local repairman he says that he can't fix my fridge that I would have to get a new one now this is absolutely ridiculous in fridge cash thousands we don't have that laying around. Thank you for your time

General Electric ge slide in range

I am writing this to complain about my GE Slide in Range Model JS968S0K4SS, serial TL204294Q. My complaint stems from the stainless steel range control cover. The symbols, numbers and words are no longer able to be read. They have disappeared from the cover which makes using the burners extremely difficult and dangerous I might add. I can assure you that my range has been well cared for and no harsh chemicals have ever been used on it. It has received less than normal use because there are only 2 of us in the household. Additionally my husband travels a lot and is gone over 50% of the time and I do not cook when he is not home. I am including pictures of the range control cover which shows how the symbols, numbers and words are missing.

My husband had done some research on the internet and from that research it looked like the range control cover could only be purchased with the circuit board attached to it. I do not need the circuit board and so I called your GE parts number to see about purchasing just the stainless steel range control cover. I was told it was part 18 and the cost would be $360 plus shipping, handling and tax. Of course that wasn't a firm price because when I complained I could purchase it cheaper elsewhere, suddenly the price was 20% less which still was more than if I purchased it elsewhere.

I tried sending an email to the parts dept and I got a response from them that their "rock bottom price" was $270 plus tax. Again, this "rock bottom" price is still more than what the local appliance part store is selling it for. I was told the part from the local store is coming directly from GE. I have a real issue with this price discrepancy.

I would like you to stand behind your product. Having a range control cover without the necessary symbols, numbers and words is pretty much worthless. I cannot imagine that this is the first time this has ever happened. Why can't you provide a reasonably priced range control cover without the unnecessary circuit board attached? Better yet, why not manufacture a stainless steel range control cover whose essential symbols, numbers and words do not disappear with normal usage?

I trust that you will make every effort to resolve my dissatisfaction.

Thank you for your time.

General Electric refrigerator

I purchased a refrigerator during the holiday season when families are very busy. I visually inspected the refrigerator upon receiving it. However, I did not run my hands along the side where the defect lays. There are waves on the side panel and the fridge makes a constant buzzing sound. About 35 days after delivery my kid noticed the defect. I called Sears who stated they could do nothing because 30 days had passed. I called GE. A technician was sent out to address the noise but said he could do nothing about the waves. Although very curt he acknowledged the waves were not dents from delivery or abuse. He proposed I was "arguing a mute point", basically not wanting to address the annoying buzz coming from the appliance suggesting if I was planning to call customer relations then I'd be getting a new refrigerator.

Less than five minutes after he left, I called customer relations. I got Jennifer who was more rude, even taking to yelling at me. I called back and asked for a supervisor. After having to explain my situation to another customer relations employee I got Danielle, who identified herself as a supervisor. I explained my situation again. I sent Danielle pictures via email of the defect. In the end, I received an email from Jennifer (the terribly rude agent) stating that the defect was dents, which are cosmetic and the warranty does not cover cosmetic issues.

I did not spend money on a used, refurbished, reconditioned, dented, or defective refrigerator. Cosmetic as they call it - it is defective. I did not manufacture the refrigerator, GE did. I expect GE to take pride in their quality. This is not the quality of work they should be putting out. This is substandard quality assurance. The onus of responsibility should not be put on the customer to catch all of their defects. They didn't! GE employees do not have the right to be rude to or yell at their customers. I chose GE over Samsung because of Samsung's history of terrible customer service. I was wrong. I see that GE offers no better. I am doing a complete kitchen remodel. I will be returning the dishwasher, this refrigerator will go to the garage and I will not be purchasing anymore GE appliances.

General Electric ge profile washing machine - model no. wpre6150k2wt

Purchased at a Home Depot on March 12, 2010. Over the past few weeks, it was leaving clothes too wet, soap residue was left on clothes over the past year or two, soap was not always draining out. In spite of shifting the loads evenly, the machine danced. I used the appropriate HE detergent.

Two days ago, the machine imploded. I found large pieces of metal and plastic at the bottom of the stainless steel bin. It must have entered through the water line? This machine is barely 7 years old.

We used to be loyal GE and Hotpoint customers. We had Hotpoint appliances that lasted us for 20 years! We replaced this with a different brand. We are gentle users as we are an older couple.

Yes, I saved the rock-like metal fragments. I have stained white clothing that I hope will wash clean when the new washing machine arrives.

General Electric convection microwave

I purchased my GE Profile convection microwave mid September 2016. While using the convection feature on December 20th the whole thing died. I called GE and they sent a contracted service provider AID SERVICE of Fresh Meadows, (Queens NY) out to my home on December 23rd. The repairman told me that I needed a new computer board and it would take 10 days. I have a problem with a brand new (120 days old) product already broken but GE's policy is if it can be fixed they will not replace it, rather repair it. By about January 12th i called AID SERVICE and spoke to a woman who answered; she said my part was not in yet, when I mentioned the 10 days I was promised, she said well it had been holiday season. Finally someone came on Jan 21, changed the board it still did not work, said he'd be back the next week end January 28th. I happened to be speaking to GE on the 25th as i had already filed a complaint and I mentioned that the repairman was coming that Saturday the 25th and they told me no, he was not coming. GE said they spoke to AID SERVICE, Rick, and he said that they have no record of another service call and that as far as they were concerned my product was fixed and my file was closed. Rick (nasty beyond belief, and a liar) didn't want to have to make a third call as I'm sure it was not financially beneficial to him at this point) so he lied to GE and said my product was fixed.

GE promised to send another repairman out; he came this past Monday or Tuesday. Meanwhile through a lot of hard work and determination on my behalf, I found an email address for someone higher up in GE. They are very good as insulating themselves from the public so you cannot file a complaint. I got a hold of Kim Freeman who is in media relations, and she passed my email on to Gary Mantooth. I spoke to him three times after the GE repairman came to my house earlier this week and he said they will get the job done. They needed two men to come to my house and twice he changed the time for them to come. I work in New York City and could not miss work. This was my FOURTH service call that either I or a family member was going to be there for. The repairman called me at 10:40 this morning and said he'd be there in a few minutes, at which time I told him he had to be gone by 11:40 as my mother had to be at work, he said no problem. By 11:10 I received a call from my mother stating that the second repairman had not yet arrived and now they were not promising that they could be done and out of the house by the time I stated.

At this point I contacted GARY MANTOOTH and I expressed both my desperation and anger and he had the audacity to state that i was the problem, that GE was trying to accommodate me and that I just seem to have one catastrophe to deal with after another. Yes GARY MANTOOTH this is absolutely true, and as of late they have all had to deal with YOU and GE. I cannot believe that someone would speak to a consumer of their product in them manner of which I was spoken to.

Finally my appliance is fixed, we shall see for how long. After hours of going through remote calling with GE, dealing unsuccessfully with AID SERVICE (a company that GE continues to deal with and represent as a repairer of their products), speaking to several people at GE, browsing the web looking for someone in GE to contact, and writing to numerous people, I cannot stress strongly enough to please DO NOT PURCHASE ANY GE PRODUCTS as they will give you the run around when the product does not work, and will treat you poorly.

General Electric service

OKAY, where do I begin. First in early December 2016 our refrigerator began having cooling issues. After the 3rd attempt to fix it, GE did approve the replacement of the refrigerator at no cost to us. The new replacement refrigerator, less then a week old had a problem. A technician came out and it was diagnosed with a none repairable problem. REALLY? We are currently waiting on the 3rd refrigerator to arrive. NOW our dishwasher (Model: GDT580SSF4SS / Serial: AF773474B) is going BELLY UP, LEAKING. WHAT GIVES GE. A technician came on 1/27/17 and replaced the inner rubber seal gasket and the upper and lower spray arms. He said the spray arms have been know to expand causing the water to spray out incorrectly. Our bill was $226.77 WELL GUESS WHAT GE, IT STILL LEAKS and on our hard wood floors. You ask what our desirable resolution is, BUY IT BACK! If we had an out option it would be to exchange all the GE appliances for another brand. This is totally insane. These are less then 2 years old. Today I was told we would need another tech visit to determine if the dishwasher was none repairable by the GE engineers, before GE will make a decision on what to do. The new case # is [protected]. Our appointment is for 2/8/17. If GE will not buy it back or refund us the value of the dishwasher then WE DO NOT WANT A DISCOUNTED new model. WE WANT AN EQUAL OR NEWER UPGRADE MODEL AT ZERO COST TO US. I believe we have suffered enough. We have two other major GE appliances (Microwave and Range) that we do not feel confident they will last.
Would YOU?
