We bought all GE MONAGRAM for kitchen renovation. The side by side 42” built in refrigerator lasted 9 years. We had to replace with another Monogram to fit in the opening and have had nothing but problems with a refrigerator that cost over 12K. The most recent problem is water leaking from the top of the unit and having to wait almost 3 weeks to get someone to come for a repair.
If you are in the market for a higher end appliance, GE MONAGRAM is NOT what I would suggest. This experience has left me so burned that I will never look at GE again.
Recommendation: Avoid at all cost. Not what the brand used to be.
High-end appliances should perform reliably. It’s disappointing to face ongoing issues, especially after such a significant investment. Consider reaching out directly to GE’s customer service to escalate your concerns, particularly about the long wait for repairs. Document your experiences and request a resolution, such as a technician visit or potential replacement options.
